5-0 out of 5 stars NBA Street V3
Soar above the rim and leave your mark as NBA Street V3 hits the pavement: 3-on-3, over-the-top, and larger than life. V3 builds on the game-proven, platinum-selling gameplay of the Street series with new tricks and high-flying dunks. All new Trick Stick and interactive Gamebreaker control elevates the game to new heights with unmistakable style and attitude. Featuring today's biggest NBA stars, a collection of the league's all-time greats, and a Hall of Fame cast of past Street characters, V3 is non-stop, fast-paced, action-packed, in-your-face fun. It's as simple as that. NBA Street V3 is packed with highly-detailed authentic street courts, deep player customization options, new Court Creator, and sick online play. Put your rep on the line in the ultimate proving ground: the street courts of NBA Street V3.

The best of the series by far, I would be surprised if there's a better arcade sports game released in 2005. From bouncing the ball off your opponent's noggin to draining a game-winning three, there is just so much opportunity to talk smack, to compete, and best of all, humiliate your friends by dunking on their heads, that I think this is a must-buy for gamers looking for a fun basketball game without having to worry about the differences between a Triangle and a Box formation. Throw in six controllers and go at it in a real three-on-three for even more laughs, more slams, and best of all, more smack.

EA doesn't need an exclusive license to be king of the NBA street court. Midway, you may be second-fiddle for the rest of eternity as NBA Street V3 is the best street game of this generation. The only weak point is the sound, but beyond that, every aspect of V3 crackles with energy and imagination. I am a little bummed that EA still hasn't done anything interesting with jump shots (give us a dozen different trick shots, please), making it all about the dunks. The new GameBreaker is a sick and sweet idea and after putting a few dozen games under my belt, I began coming up with my own custom GameBreaker dunks. The inclusion of the Beastie Boys is inspired, the ability to customize your own court and shoes well-executed, and every GameBreaker dunk a furious thunder of street attitude. It's great, go buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Basketball Game Out
NBA Street V3 has everything this year. The new Street Challenge is awesome, since you are able to build your own court. The dunk contest is unreal, because you are able to jump over anything. The gameplay is better to, but Bobbito needs a few more lines.May I suggest some ideas for the next version.

1-Use And 1 players against the NBA or against the NBA Street characters.

2-Use some of the old players from NBA Street, combine them together, and make a little challenge out of it, sort of like a new game mode.

OH YEAH, FOR THE DUDE THAT SAID TAKASHI IS NEW, HE IS OLD, REMEMBER, HE WAS ON THE FIRST NBA STREET, PLAYING ON THE ROOF.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Streetball game made so far!
Don't listen to anyone who gives this game bad reviews. It is awesome. Nothing about this game is bad, except for the fact Bobbito Garcia should change some of his lines. The Street Challenge or "Be a Legend" as in Vol.2 has been upgraded to the fullest. Vol.2's Be a Legend is about a 3.5/10 compared to V3. You can customize your character so much more,fine-tuning to every aspect of the face, even watches, and jewelery, to custom shoes. It has it all. Following that, you create your home court just the way you like it, you can even pick from about 35 cities. A new thing is that when you up ur stats, its out of 99, so it takes a while to boost your skills. You can still trade players to get better players after you beat a team and there are also new street legends. Stretch is back with oldies Bonafide, Dime, and Biggie Littles. Two new players to the game as Tacasie or something (he's chienese) and Phat. And for the people that think NBA Challenge is gone, its not, its just called NBAtreet League and thats also in Street Challenge. Besides the sweet Street Challenge there is a new dunk contest. Its pretty unreal, but loads of fun. You can use props and jump over them (Benches, Ladders, Trash bins, etc.), you can throw the ball up to yourself from a lot of crazy ways and angles, and when your in the air, you'll pull off the sickest dunks you've ever seen. The Gamebreaker must be one of the best parts of the game. Yes, the GB 2 is gone but this is alot better. You jump in the air and pull off the same dunks you would in a contest only you have teammates, so then you can throw the ball to them in mid-flight. You can even do a 3 man dunk show above the rim. You can get a best score of +4 and -1 to your opponents score. The lowest is +2 and -1. The better tricks you do, the better the score. Everything is new and better in this game, even the graphics which are brought to a new level with V3. So go out and buy the best streetball game you'll ever own (until maybe a Vol. 4 comes out) ... Editorial Review

This neon green and grape roller coaster is impressive in both size andscope. When fully built the coaster stretches 6 feet long and stands 3 feethigh. The directions are detailed and clear, and we had no trouble putting ittogether. It did take us a bit over five hours, though, and it's likely that anychild under 12 will need parental assistance. But assembling it is half the fun. When finished, the track careens so hazardously, it's hard to believe the carswill stay on, but they do! The plastic chain hauls the three cars up slowly, just like a real roller coaster, and the sound effects box re-creates the noiseso perfectly you'll squirm with anticipation. After reaching the top and passingthrough the serpent's mouth, the cars begin their dizzying descent past thesound effects box, which has now switched to emitting enthusiastic and terrifiedscreaming. Gravity and centrifugal force whip the little cars along the rest ofthe track until at last it reaches the beginning of the ride, only to be towedup for another round. If you don't have 6 feet of space, there are instructionsfor a smaller version, and you can turn the sound effects off if you prefer toplay quietly. Entirely worth the time and effort, this is ideal as a familyendeavor. --M. Sullivan ... Read more

This is Awesome!!!
I'm 13 years old and thought this is the best toy ever. I got kind of bored with the set that it tells you to make so I built my own. I built the new boomerang ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain called "Deja Vu". I ran out of pieces, so I love it so much that I'm going to buy another one. I think that it should come with more pieces so you can build your own coaster, but that is the only flaw in it. I think it's the best toy ever especially to roller coaster enthusiasts like me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, but lots of work
I'd first like to say that I find the claims of other reviewers here that this toy can be assembled in 2-3 hours to be pretty unbelievable. My adult brother and I spent about 7 hours building this model, mostly working in parallel. This was our first KNEX model, but we are hardly novices at building complex toys.

I generally avoid Chinese-made toys due to their notoriously poor quality, and I was concerned about the not-completely-specified Chinese content of this model. Apparently, all of the standard KNEX parts are made in the US, and were of a very high quality plastic that snapped together nicely. It looked like only the electrical components (motor and sound box) and the train were made in China (and were of noticeably poorer quality plastic).

The actual construction process was a lot of fun. My only complaint here was that some parts of the manual dealing with the track support system were difficult to reproduce exactly, and failing to exactly reproduce this left us with a track fit problem. We finally had to fudge and use an unspecified part to make the track support work.

After construction, very little tweaking was required to get the model working as advertised. As other reviewers have noted, the model moves a lot when in use. This was resolved easily by building the model on a piece of pegboard and using a few strategic tie-wraps to hold it in place.

My major complaint: the motor assembly. It has a small, difficult to operate power switch. To make matters worse, it's apparently a generic KNEX motor module, and the power switch also has a "reverse" setting which, when accidentally activated while trying to turn the model on or off, can cause the model to jam (and possibly even cause damage).

Once the construction process is completed, this is not much of a "hands on" toy. There's really nothing you can "do" with it other than watch the train go round and round. The actual "ride" from the top of the lift to the bottom is only 2-3 seconds long.

5-0 out of 5 stars This toy is awesome!!!
Its definately worth the 90.00 bucks that you spend on it cause it is VERY fun to build and even more fun to play with...The only thing is that you have to know and use your imagination to be able to build this thing cause it can be pretty hard in some spots...but never the less awesome!I'm 13 and built this in a Day in a half(took alot longer than most people)but I had fun doing it.If you do order this item TAKE YOUR TIME on it and don't rush it cause I did that and I had to start all over cause I couldn't figure out where I was at on building it.so I hope this review helped you and if you liked this try building the other knex theme park rides such as other rollercoasters and the ferris wheel.

The Screamin Serpent Rollor coaster rocks !!!
This toy is amazing and very entertaining. It is just a little complicated by with a little help it looks awsome. One of the best parts about it is that if you dont' like the the way the instructions tell you to build it you can build your own. You can have your own mini millenium force if you choose to in your own house. If I was to rate this out of five I would give it a four and a half. The only little flaw is that the instructions are a little hard to understand.

screamin serpant roller coaster
my son has one and it isnt extremly hard but slightly difficult to build. it has been almost a year and he still hasnt fixed all the bugs! some problems were bad design, track shortage and when the car goes through the loop sometimes it doesent go over the small hill or get a head start on the chain lift. I think that after awhile it gets boring and takes up too much room and money. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Nintendo's winning streak of rehashing and enhancing classic SuperNintendo games for the tiny GBA screen continues with this surprisinglyaddictive arcade racer. For those new to the Mario Kart game series, Nintendomascots (Mario, Donkey Kong, Luigi, etc.) race go-carts along fantastic tracksthat feature various offensive and defensive power-ups (banana peels andmushroom boosts, to name two). Accumulate enough points and you'll win circuittrophies.

Each mascot has a ride that handles and accelerates differently, yetthe controls for each racer feel very tight and precise. The highly detailed, cartoony locales of Mario Kart Super Circuit show visuals that are bothvery sharp and fluidly animated. Though not nearly as fast, Mario Kart SuperCircuit looks better and can be more intense than the vaunted F-Zerolaunch title.

If you perform well enough and collect enough coins in atournament, you can unlock a plethora of bonus tracks--some of which are fromolder console Mario Kart titles. The fun multiplayer options includehead-to-head racing and a balloon battle mode, in which you blast other racerswith power-ups in a huge arena until there's only one driver left. --MarkBrooks

Pros:

  • Bright graphics that are both fast and fluid
  • Multiplayer battle mode is loads of fun
  • Many, many tracks!
Cons:
  • May be too cute for some

5-0 out of 5 stars Hands down, the best current game for the Game Boy Advance
Although this game is not being released in the US for another month, I bought the imported Japanese version a few days ago (it's called "Mario Kart Advance" overseas), and I have been absolutely enthralled by it ever since my purchase. The graphics are phenomenal and really show off the capabilities of the Game Boy Advance's 32 bit processor. The backgrounds are lush and vivid, and the individual cars are detailed nicely. The music and sound effects are great as well, and the gameplay is true to the classic Super Mario Kart. For those that have played both the Super NES version and the N64 version, I'd say that this game is a bit closer to the original SNES game (which I personally thought was a better game than the N64 sequel).

I'd also like to mention that this game blows away Konami's Krazy Racers. I own both games, and wish that I had saved my money and bought only Mario Kart. Mario Kart has so much more depth that it puts Krazy Racers to shame. Mario Kart is the best game I have played for the GB Advance so far (Castlevania COTM is a close second).

If you're looking for a great, challenging go-cart racing game, don't waste your time with the Konami clone: wait for a month and buy Mario Kart Super Circuit- you'll be glad you did!

5-0 out of 5 stars Easily the most addictive game for the GBA.
One of the reasons I dug my old SNES out of storage was to play Mario Kart again. It was more fun than should be legal. Now there is "Super Circuit", a game very similar, but with a few differences, to the SNES classic.

The track designs are upgraded, with more of a 3D feel to them. The Bowser's Castle areas look more like those out of Mario 64 than Mario Kart. The rich texturing and colorful animation take full advantage of the GBA's capacity (which is more powerful than the SNES, believe it or not). Too prevent the total deja-vu for older games, the track layouts are different, with more tracks, different objects to use both offensively and defensively, and a host of new challenges. This is a major plus because I beat the old Mario Kart in evey way possible. It is nice to have some new fun with an old concept.

The music is superb, and the sound effects are classic Mario. As usual, you have a bunch of characters to choose from, including Mario, Luigi, Princess, Bowser, DK, Toad and others. A nice addition is that each character is rated according to speed and weight, so you can be more informed about which racer to choose. The controls are easy to master, and allow for fluid control while driving on the circuit. For gamers on the go, I cannot think of a more fun game.

Overall, this is one of the benchmark games for the GBA, and one that ensures many hours of fun and quality game time. Anyone who has played the older Mario Kart will adore this, gamers new to it will love it just the same.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST GBA GAME AVAILABLE...
I have played numerous GBA games, and owned 5 over the course of the past 6 months. And there are only TWO I have had the urge to purchase/keep... Tony Hawk 2 and Mario Kart. This game is incredable. Dont expect somthing better than the 64 version, but this is LEAGUES ahead of its SNES counterpart. some complainers have mentioned "bad steering" and "impossible star cup races" I have found those to be stupid complaints. ALL the chars have different steering abilities, (the fat ones are the worst... a good steerer is Peach or Mario...) and the differnnt cups are ALL staggered... for example... I found 50 CC too easy... in 150 cc (the hardest level) I ONLY NOW [after a month) beat the whole GP mode... some courses are chalenging... this game balances EASY and HARD... and has LOTS to do all the time! even for a 5 min break you can race against yourself in timetrial... so you know what to expect, imagine a number line where SNES M kart is -10 and 64 M Kart is + 10 this game would prob be somewhere like -2. GRAPHICS are amazing! best I have seen on the GBA, maybe aside from Tony Hawk 2 good sound, medichore 3d levels (like the SNES...)

~Andy

5-0 out of 5 stars Best GBA game BY FAR!!!!!!!!
This actually was one of the first GBA games relased...but it is still one of the best. To start off, the graphics are awsome!!! and it as all the features as the original..like the red shells, bannana peels...YOU NAME IT. Also, another fun thing to do is race 2 player and the best part is... YOU ONLY NEED 1 GAME CARTRIDGE. your friend can play even if he does not own the game.

Overall 9.8 out of 10

2-0 out of 5 stars It's a BIG step backwards
After playing Mario Kart 64 (on the Nintendo 64), I was very disappointed to see "Mario Kart Super Circuit" basically represent a step backwards in technology. Of course, I should have assumed this, since the GBA's 32-bit processor is only half as powerful as the Nintendo 64's.

This version of Mario Kart is really more similar to the Super NES game "Super Mario Kart," which I never liked -- and I can't say I like this version much more. You're back to the old mission of collecting coins as you race, and the coins have something to do with your speed and/or resistance to crashes. I never really saw any major difference on how many coins you have.

In any event... if you like Mario Kart 64 or the Gamecube's Mario Kart Double Dash... this game could let you down. It's not "truly" a 3-D game. Because the GBA screen is so small, the action moves so fast, and the "fake 3D perspective" is mediocre... it's hard to anticipate upcoming turns and obstacles. I've always thought the turning controls were way too touchy on this and the SNES version.

I also think the computer characters cheat... no matter how much of a good lead you can build at the beginning of a race, or how many speed mushrooms you use... the computer players ALWAYS catch up! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The most fun you'll ever have being horribly annoyed
Full of fabulous facts about the saga, this game is the hardcore Star Warrior's dream....AND worst nightmare. You'll have fun playing it at home but get fits from your friends who bring it out with a big smirk, saying, "Okay, now, let's see how much you REALLY know about 'Star Wars'...."May The Force Be With You, you'll need it! Hee hee

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game I Own, but for Hardcore Fans Only
You better know your stuff before you plan on purchasing this game and make sure you know 2-4 people who know more than they should as well about the Star Wars universe. Some of these questions are extremely tough and there are very few easy ones. I used to play the Decipher Star Wars card game, so my memory of those cards actually helped me a lot with remembering certain characters that were barely mentioned in the films. This is a truly great game that we knowledgeable Star Wars fans finally deserve.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you're a Star Wars fan, this is fun
There's nothing like getting together with fellow Star Wars fans and play this special version of Trivial Pursuit. It's great! It's just like the old Trivial Pursuit with, of course, questions only about Star Wars. When you try for a wedge, however, you have to resort to one of two DVDs that come with the game for the question. If you don't answer the question in the time limit given, your oponents can shout out the right answer - as long as they don't have the wedge - and possibly steal it from you. If you like the classic Trivial Pursuit and you happen to be a Star Wars fan and you have a couple like-minded friends or family members, this is a lot of fun and definitely worth the money. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Interactive, non violent and teaches a few life lessons!!
I gave this game to my 8 year old on her birthday and she wants to play it all the time!! If you want your child to start learning things like telling time, earning and spending money wisely (mortgage, clothes, furniture) reading and writing skills (talking to townsfolk, writing and recieving letters), charity (giving things to the local museum or other townsfolk)and "making and keeping" friendships (doing favors/errands and chatting). They can even catch butterflies and bugs, go fishing, dig for buried treasures and fossils, and plant trees and flowers. My 3 year old can walk around the towns and not get frustrated because she's stuck as in so many other games. Her favorite part of the game is taking the train from one town to the other(In order to travel to other towns, you need to purchase a separate memory card for slot b of the gamecube) My daughters and their friends speak of the characters by name. Parents beware: one thing I don't like is some of the words they chose to have the animals use..ie: idiot...or some of the townsfolk say rude comments....I use this as a learning lesson. All in all, this game is a blast for all ages! Best video game yet as far as I'm concerned! A++++++++++

5-0 out of 5 stars Welcome To The World Of Animal Crossing
This game is like no other,no,it's not an adventure,or a puzzle,it's life!Expeirience a new life where you name your own town and make your own rules. You buy a house, catch bugs,go fishing, anything. You start out in a small house and pay it off, just like in the real world, each time you pay it off you talk to Tom Nook(the shop keeper)and he'll upgrade your house! You can make a basement,an upstairs,or just make your main level bigger.Once you've paid off your house and it's been upgraded to the highest it can you get a gold statue of yourself infront of the train station!
If you connect your GBA with the Nintendo GameCube link cable, you can travle to animal island where you meet a friendly animal. You can also use the AC e-reader cards to get helpful codes.
AC runs on a real 24 hr. clock,so you can celebrate holidays and special events theat go on in your town.
The animals that live in your village have different personalities. You can help them with errands to get a little reward or talk to them and write them letters.
You can find many classic Nintendo games, such as Donkey Kong,CluClu Land and Excitebike.
In AC there's all that and much more.I hope my reveiw was helpful to you:)

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks!
Animal Crossing is so cool. Put three stories to your house and personalize it! My Mom plays it too, and my Dad and my sister. Go fishing and sell your fish, catch bugs and sell them too, or send them to the museum. Make a small town and talk to the people who move, but keep the town clean and plant flowers, or no one will move in. I love this game!

3-0 out of 5 stars Addictive but pointless
Animal Crossing was really addictive at first, it was also somewhat fun for the first few months but after you get your expansions for your house and all the furniture you want ... there is really no point to it. Paying off Nook may take a while but in actuality, it only takes a couple of months of Stringfish, you're done.
Getting ALL the items will take a long time but getting most of the items, especially the ones you want won't take very long, especially if you're the cheating type and go and search up cheats and/or codes on the internet, it definitely doesn't take as long.
A good thing about this game are the NES games you can have in your house and also play the ones in other people's homes. The best one would have to be Wario's Woods. Talking to the people in town is different and the jobs can be worth while at first but once again, after a couple of weeks ... it's repetitive and gets extremely boring.
Seriously, this game has no storyline. It's a pointless game yet it can be addictive for the first few months you have it. If you keep a journal in your house, and you own this game for over a year or 2, you will notice how empty some of the months are because you never play.
It's almost near impossible to make the well happy, the gifts from the mayor are stupid, worthless and again pointless and Nook, Rover and Mr. Resseti never shut up. They talk and talk and it's so annoying. Rover is the worst, you just want to get to the other town to get one thing and he blabs on about some crap you already know about since this is your 100th visit.
This game can be a good buy, if you really, REALLY like it ... but it will only last a couple of months before you put it on the shelf and it starts to collect dust. I would suggest you buy it at a pawn shop for cheaper if you like it rather than spend the extra money on a game you'll never play again once you've "beaten" it (by that I mean pay off your loan, etc). ... Editorial Review

Accompanied by a "PowerCard" to record account information, this make-believe ATM machine features an electronic screen, an alpha-numeric keypad, and slots for cards, coins, and bills. Insert the card into the appropriate slot and enter a personal ID to get a personal greeting and an exact balance. You can also insert real dollar bills and coins, and the machine will add those amounts to the account. A cash drawer at the bottom pops open for withdrawals. The beeps, lights, and robotic voice resemble those one might find on a spaceship; it's almost as if you're withdrawing funds from the HAL 9000 rather than the ATM machine down the block. Also, the language seems a bit beyond the toy's target audience. ("Enter your name and secret PIN number for real personalized banking.") By the time children are old enough to use and understand this toy, it's possible they'll have outgrown it. The machine mounts easily to a wall, or you can set it on top of a dresser. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Baby Annabell for My Granddaughter
Well, I bought Baby Annabell for my 3 year old Granddaughter and she absoultly loves her as do I!
I think she is just darling. My granddaughter found her early, as in before Christmas!
Yes she was her Christmas present and she found it in Grandma's spare room a couple of weeks ago and just knew that it was for her. Any way, we both just love her.

3-0 out of 5 stars Baby Annabell Doll
I received the baby Annabell for my daughter in the mail today. The doll is in good condition, however the way it was packaged was terrible. The box was mangled and I am surprised it was okay. I think my daughter will love this doll, but she will have to wait until Christmas :-)

4-0 out of 5 stars New Mommy
I just got this baby today i loved it i guess its kinda silly for a 13 year old to play with dolls but i think its fun(dont tell my friends)anyways this doll isnt what i expected i thought it would do more stuff i couldnt chooose between rock a bye chou chou or annabell but when i found out annabells mouth moved i was set i think its fun to act like you have your own baby if you have old brothers or sisters who like to annoy then its not good like me my sister likes to yell and hit it right when it falls asleep but i think this is a great baby, overall.

4-0 out of 5 stars BABY Annabell
I got Baby Annabell in the hopes that I would get a very modern doll. When I opened the pakage I wwas somewhat disppionted. Yes she was modern like she giggled and cryed. She really makes realistic mouth movements.BUT sometimes when you try to read a story to her she justs keeps on giggling.I can't really take out of my rooom or my family will go insane. Even when she sucks it's super noisy. I wish you could feed her or have to change her diaper because it's wet. It's perfect for the LITTLE mother HINT BETWEEN 3-7 but, maybe we older mother 7+up need something more than bottle feeding or rattling a rattle . Over all I think she is perfect for younger mothers. Also, I thinnk she is over priced. I do have a recomendation for older mothers though, Baby Born.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great doll!
This doll is great--she cries and laughs like a real baby. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 year old and they both love to play with her. The crying is a little annoying after awhile, but you can turn her off with a switch on her back. She also comes with a bottle, pacifier, and toy bear. Well worth the money! ... Read more

Pokémon Sapphire's updated graphics with weather effects, amazing sound, more than 200 Pokémon with over 100 new species--as well as its faithful adherence to the existing series of Pokémon games--makes for a welcome evolution in the series.

First, the game has a lot in common with Pokémon games Silver, Gold, and Crystal. For example, players can choose to be a boy or a girl trainer, an internal clock sets events at certain times, and the game's handy-dandy Pokédex helps players keep track of the many stats. You're main goal is still to beat all the Gym Trainers and become the Pokémon Master. If you've played the old games, you will be right at home. But not all is the same.

The most obvious change is in the battles themselves. Now that two Pokémon can fight on your side at the same time, you can tag-team them against an enemy by taking advantage of the strengths of your Pokémons while covering their weaknesses. For example, you can now have a water Pokémon watch your fire Pokémon's back. You can also attack more than one Pokémon at a time.

A whole new element to the game focuses on how berries are used in battle. And if you collect enough berries, you can take them to a Berry Blender and make a PokéBlock, which is a little super-charged candy that raises your Pokémon's "Condition" attributes. You can then groom your Pokémon for regional contests and compete for ribbons like "Best of Show," which will unlock additional contests. There's even strategy in how to best use your berries: pick too many and the berry tree will disappear; plant berries, though, and a tree will grow. You can also build a Secret Base in special areas of the game, which you can decorate just like you can your room.

And let us not forget that Pokémon Sapphire has a kickin' multiplayer system, too. You can trade Pokémon, and link up to four players for incredible battles. The only downside is that you can't link up with the old Game Boy Color games. --Bryan Karsh

Pros:

  • You can control two Pokémon in battle
  • Much needed graphic and sound facelift
  • Nice multiplayer feature (requires link cable and extra game cartridge)
Cons:
  • Can't trade Pokémon with Game Boy Color

Pokemon Sapphire is a nice piece of work
I have been playing the Japanese version of Sapphire for about 20+ hours now, and I believe I might be able to shed some light on what to expect.

Overview: The game starts out with the ability to choose between a boy and a girl character. Like previous games, you may choose the name of your character HOWEVER you can not choose the name of your rival. After taking care of some basic things, you head out to become a Pokemon master. The same aspects of the previous games once again apply, and of course, Team Rocket(in the form of Team Aqua) will once again try to stop you. The game is very easy to follow and manipulate, so even the youngest fan won't have a hard time becoming a Pokemon master.

Graphics: Unlike Crystal, the Pokemon are no longer given an "intro" animation. While this does reduce battle time significantly in the long term, it might be a dissapointment for many younger players. However, the animation for attacks and item usage has been greatly improved. Certain attacks, like "attract" are now given a greater spotlight and have become long-term status effects. This new addition, along with many other new TMs, will greatly delight even the oldest Pokefan.

Music: The music is rather cheesy. This newest release does feature variations of the battle themes that most G/S/C fans are accustomed to, but the variations aren't incredibly good.

Pokedex: Yes, the Pokedex has once again gone a major upgrade and it will not be a dissapointment. The most interesting feature is that your Pokemon will now be shown relative to your character, giving the player a better idea of how large each Pokemon is.

New Pokemon: If you expect the new release to have lots of cutesy Pokemon, you will be in for a let-down. 186 of the "old" Pokemon are not availble in either Sapphire or Ruby, and as you can not trade with the earlier versions of the game, completing your Pokedex will be impossible until further versions are released. The nice thing is that, until Milo Town(3rd town), you won't encounter any of the old Pokemon. This means that you can not longer rely on familiar faces like Mareep and instead you'll have to adapt to new Pokemon like Jigumaguma. There are 5 Pokemon featured in this game that can not be caught in Ruby; Habunake, Hassboh, Latias, Kyogre and Runatoon. Both Latias & Kyogre are "legendary" Pokemon.

Overall, despite the music and the inability to trade Pokemon with previous versions, this is a great game that will keep anyone busy for hours on end. Sapphire is definetely worth the [price].

5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Sapphire for Gameboy Advance SP Rules!!! #1 GAME!
This game is absolutly the best Pokemom game I have ever played. It has cool all new and better sound effects and music, it has more citys and bigger citys and towns to go to than other games, and you can fight with two on two battles! The graphics and colors are magnificent and the different Pokemon are awesome!
The contest is cool because you can see if your Pokemon is cool, cute, tough, ect. It has more TM and HM moves to choose from and it even has a cool new feature that lets you use a special HM on an odd looking tree or cliff and you can create your own secret clubhouse base! The story begins as you choose a boy or girl. Then you start in a small town, Little Root, and your goal is to
become the best Pokemon Trainer in the Hoenn Region, the contenent you play in. It is fun and I assure you it will probobly be a great adventure for anyone. Overall this game is
the best I've seen and I would give it more than 5 if I could!

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Pokemon Game Ever!!!!!
Trust me, you've got to get this game. I think that that the originals were fine and there graphics were lagging but sapphire has a great story and great graphics, the game is great because you are in the all new Hoenn Region and only 52 of the original pokemon were kept and the new pokemon are so cool, if you have any intrest in this interview you obviously are thinking about buying it, buy it! The game is the best, the features are the best, buy it!<br /> <br /> Sapphire rules all. Sapphire kicks the originals out of commission. Sapphire is definitely, a game that will be remembered as a great game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
This game is amazing! I love it. Please, by all means buy it. I don't feel like writing a huge review so u can live with this.

Executing a clear and comprehensive crossover strategy between a board game and a set of familiar characters can be a tricky enterprise. But this synthesis of familiar Disney and the increasingly popular board game Scene It works exceptionally well, relying on DVD technology and the familiar faces of Disney's beloved characters to form a consistently entertaining family play experience. Included in the set are a game DVD, a game board, four category reference cards, 30 "buzz" cards, and 160 trivia cards with special sets for kids and adults. The game's designers thoughtfully included some Disney classics for Mom and Dad but there is more of an emphasis on Disney properties of the last fifteen years or so, The Lion King, George of the Jungle, the live action 101 Dalmatians, in order to appeal to the youngsters. Game play between the physical board and the action on the DVD is well executed and we found it easy to understand the rules and have fun. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

This colorful kite is perfect for spontaneous outings or long-distance travel. Since there are nosticks to break or bend out of shape, it is very low maintenance. When it is soaring in the atmosphere, itfans out into a substantial 19 by 14 inches, but it collapses into a tiny carrying case that measures 8 by 5inches. Sailing in the sky, this pocket kite looks just like a paraglider on a wing of hot violet, tangerine, turquoise, jade, scarlet, and lemon yellow. It's best when used in a recommended wind of 8 to 25 mph (13to 40 km/h). The kite comes with a generous rainbow tail and 30 pounds of test feed line on a spool; it's anideal kite for bikers, boaters, hikers, or families heading for a beach vacation. --Gail Hudson ... A great, durable, easy kite
I absolutely love this kite. My wife and I recently spent a week at a friend's cabin and they had this kite on their shelf of toys. We found it incredibly easy to fly, too easy in fact. It didn't take us very long to get it very high in the air... and then tangled in the cabin's solar panels.

When we got the kite down, we were amazed by how durable it was. Despite taking a lot of abuse by the wind on the roof, it was in excellent shape.

We bought one for ourselves recently and love it (though we are more careful to stay away from obstructions now). The fact that it collapses down into such a small bag is especially wonderful. When we go to the park I can put it in my jacket pocket and if we don't end up flying it, I don't feel like I've wasted my time lugging it around.

I would recommend this kite to anyone, no matter how young or old.

An Easy Kite for Kids to Fly
My son got this kite for his 7th birthday and had a great time fying it. The kite is very durable, ready to fly and easy to fly for a child. I liked that there was nothing to break on it which made it possible for him to run up and down the field with it in the air or dragging it on the ground.

Small, Colorful and Fun
I bought this kite for my 29 month old daughter. Before taking her to the park, I test flew it the afternoon before in relatively high winds (25 - 30 mph, with gusts over 50 mph). I really had to "fight" mother nature to get it back down to earth, but it flew and held up perfectly.
I took my daughter to the park with it the following afternoon. We had much lighter winds (10 - 15 mph). What a blast! I got the kite up in the air for her and then let her run wild with it. Now she LOVES flying kites. After a little over a half-hour (thats about as long as a 29 month old can focus on kite flying) I took it down for her. EASY!

5-0 out of 5 stars Smooth sailing with this kite/parafoil
We bought this parafoil while visiting the Oregon coast last summer. What a blast! With the steady winds from the ocean, this kite zipped into the air when we launched it and flew extremely well. It folds up into a package the size of a small fannypack, can be carried anywhere easily, and is easy to fly. Our kids are perfectly capable of flying this kite successfully. The 8-year old had no problems getting it airborne. I spent a bit of extra time with the 6-year old making sure that we could get it off the ground but, once it was in the air, he had tons of fun.

The fact that parafoils are built completely out of nylon ripstop fabric with no wood or carbon spars support means that, unlike kites, there is no way to break anything through either a ground crash or in winds that are too strong. In short, with the flying experience offered by this parafoil, this kite ROCKS!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Charlie Brown Could Fly This Kite
Today I spent the afternoon with my children (ages 3 & 6) flying this kite. It was fantastic. The kite is easy to set up and will literally fly out of your hands. I wish I had this kite when I was kid. I grew up thinking that I just wasn't coordinated enough to get a kite up in the air. Now I know that it wasn't me - it was the kite. Even Charlie Brown would be able to get this kite airborne and he wouldn't get tangled up in the string! ... Read more

Even though the Best Friends gang could have fun almost any place, there's no way they'd turn down chill-out sessions in this two-level, open-sided doll house. Love this pool!
This is a fantastic pool for the money. The best deal yet! We are really enjoying it. It came with everything! We bought ours at Walmart, cheap. You can't go wrong. Easy set up. Just took a while to fill, but this thing is huge!!!

pools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this pool is very deep.you have to level it or all the water will spill out.it is a great way to teach children how to swim.the filter should be washed almost everyday.the filter is kind of slow but its manageable.

Summer Fun
We purchased this pool last summer. It was extremely easy to set up and take down. The filter could be a little stronger but it was manageable. I ran the filter continuously because I have large trees overhead. The filter cartridge was easily cleaned with just a garden hose. It was great summer fun for my 8 year old and for grownups. We got tons of enjoyment out of it. Well worth the money!!

backyard fun
I was very skeptical when I first received the box that it would only take 1 hour to complete. However I must say that it was surprisingly easy to set up. It took my 60 yr old father in law and myself a 38 yr old male with a little help from my wife and 7 yr old son about 1:15 minutes to have the pool standing. The pool is wonderful and we have enjoyed tremendously.

One word of warning the pool requires quite a bit of maintenance in the matter of cleaning and keeping with the filter. Although the tape advises you to run the filter for 5-6 hours you are better off running it 10-12 hours. It is also advisable to buy at least one more filter to change on weekly basis.

Great fun for the entire family
This Pool set is awesome. It's Soooo Big! It can hold your entire family. Great for kids to learn to swim in. Great place to cool down on a hot summer day. Great place to even wash your dog. ... Read more

The Pixter is like a personal digital assistant (PDA) for kids. But instead of storing boring appointments and phone numbers, they get to draw, do puzzles, and learn a little, too. The Pixter is about the size of a small book, and has a pretty solid weight to it. It's made out of brightly colored and durable plastic. The main action of this toy is drawing with an attached stylus. The Color Pixter offers much better graphics then the black and white version, which comes in handy with activities like Paint-by-Numbers and Connect-the-Dots. You can draw a picture free form, or you can use one of the starter backgrounds. There are tool buttons, like on a PDA, that give you access to fun stamps, special effects, and the eraser button. You can also save your creation in the Pixter's memory. There are some boppy tunes playing along with all this creative activity, but luckily for parents, there's also a jack for headphones and a volume adjuster. An expansion slot on top of the Pixter accepts ROM-based expansion cards that contain additional software and games. Requires 4 "AA" batteries. (Not included.) --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Kids really love this toy
My daughter was 3 1/2 when she first played with her 10 year old sister's B&W Pixter, and she loved it. So I got her the color Pixter, and she plays with it every day, especially in the car. There are educational games available for it, as well as entertainment games. It also plays all the older black and white games for the older versions of Pixter.

Disappointed
We bought this for our 4 year old because he's not quite old enough for Game Boy. We have already had to return it twice due to it malfunctioning within a short period of time. The first one, the stylus didn't work and the second one the stylus worked on only half the screen after a couple of weeks. For as much money as we spent, I had great expectations. The kids, 4-9 years, enjoyed it while it worked, it just didn't hold up very long. I'd spend my money else where.

Take Care
My kids love this toy!! But do be careful because it is needs to be well taken care of. I would not reccommend this to any child who just throws things down where they may.

worth every penny
My 4 year old is one of those kids who can't play with anything for more than 5 minutes, except the Pixter. It is the best toy I've ever bought for her, and we've tried everything (thanks to used toys and bargains...). I bought her the Pixter recently because I was pregnant and too tired to keep her busy. It is well designed, challenging but not frustrating, is adaptable to her growth and needs, etc.

Pixter Easily Broken
I got my daughter the Pixter Color. Her little sister dropped it on my oak floor a few hours after we opened up the box. Now only half the screen works. I know it was dropped, but kids drop stuff. There must be a way to make these things more breakage-resistant. Spending 80 dollars on a toy that worked just one afternoon is bad enough. Listening to my daughter sob all evening was worse. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The best DX Megazord ever
This DX Megazord rocks!! It includes cool sounds and light effect, and it also includes its weapons that are used in the show. And also...... surprisingly connects with my Ninja Storm zords(Dolphinzord and Lionzord's head) which is really cool!! And--ah man, I can't wait for the DX Cyclemax Megazord to come out in stores so I can combined my Delta Squad Megazord with it and creates the powerful OmegaMax Megazord!!

3-0 out of 5 stars All in all not a bad megazord
My son (4) and I (33) collect Power Rangers Zords. He has several from the first (MMPR) to now the SPD Delta Squad Megazord (newest available) and all in all it is very smooth, easy to transform, and attractive. The only draw backs are that it is a bit small for a megazord (only 10 inches tall or so), and the sword, gun and handcuffs are a bit delicate. The best thing about it is that all the accessories are able to be stowed on the zord itself. The gun and sword blade fit in the green truck (vehicle #2 - the left leg) and the sword handle is the spotlight rig on the yellow armored car. (vehicle #4 - left arm) If they had made it bigger it would be one of the best for design and looks.

4-0 out of 5 stars a little overpriced
My 8- and 7- year old daughters loved this thing. You could say they're tomboys, but what the hey...

2-0 out of 5 stars disapointing megazord
My son saved his money for quite a while for this toy and was very disapointed when we got it home. The box leads you to believe it is much bigger and does alot more things. The items that fit together are confusing to work with and the arm pieces will fit in the palm of your hand. Not what it is made out to be. There is always quite abit of extra packaging in childrens toys but this was overkill to make the toy seem larger. I do not reccomend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's the most popular toy at my house!
This cash register is a favorite at my house! We often have children from ages two to six visiting, and this is the first toy that many of them go to. The calculator makes beeping noises that the kids enjoy, and the cash drawer opens and closes with a satisfying click. I've enjoyed teaching my son the value of money and how to use a calculator with this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't Live Without It
We were at a friends house last night and she had this toy for her 3 year old son. My 2 year old daughter could not stop playing with it. She simply loved opening the drawer and handing out the money to each person in the room. She would then collect the money and put it back. This activity kept her busy for an hour and it would have been longer except for the fact we needed to leave. I have bought her other cash register toys but none have been as realistic or kept her interest as long as this one did. I am buying one for her now and can only hope that she loves it as much as she did last night.

This is the funniest toy ever
When I got this toy i played with it for such along time and still do. You only spend $29.99 on it and it is money well spent. You make the right choice if you get this toy. The age group i would say is probably 5-whenever. Let me tell you parents what when my mom and dad got this for me i lovedit and it made me happy for so long.Three words for this toy.

so you should get this toy. KNOW dont think twice get it...NOW

A preschool favorite
I'm buying this toy for my son's 3rd birthday because he makes a beeline to it everytime we go to our parent-child preschool class. He usually sets up a toy phone nearby, too. I get to be the customer and bring a basket of toy food to him which he "scans" on the notepad area. It's nice when toys leave something to the imagination. He loves the play bills and coins and pretending to make change. I believe that this toy will grow with my child and still be fun for him in a few years.

I figure that if this toy has survived daily use by multiple 2-4 year olds, it will survive around our house. If it doesn't, then I will update this posting!!!

hits money learning right on the head
I bought this for my daughter five years ago when she turned 4... it is still a household favorite. The design is good and it has held up well despite its being knocked around a fair amount.

The display is large and easy to read. The play money, which was one of my primary concerns, is realistically sized and marked. There is plenty of it to play with and make change too. The credit card is a nice touch which slides into a slot with a beep.

The sticky note space isn't as useful or cool as I thought it could have been, but I think sticky notes tend to just get ripped off of the pad and spread across the room by most children.

Now that my daughter is older, she still plays with it as well as putting it to use while running her punch & shaved ice stand in the summer. I feel like this was a good purchase and I would recommend it as a sturdy playset with high educational potential. ... Read more
