Many high-tech toys start with a fun and fascinating idea only to make it frustratingly complicated in the execution. Leave it to LEGO to make a technologically advanced toy fun to play with. The enormous 718-piece LEGO Mindstorms Robotic Invention System lets you construct a variety of moving robot vehicles and then program them from your Windows 98- or Windows Me-compatible computer. The robots are all based around a bright yellow basic unit, which serves as the functional heart of whatever is being built. The brick receives commands from the computer via an infrared tower unit. The computer interface is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. What's most impressive about the system, however, is the variety of robots that can be built. There are detailed instructions for each one, and since these are LEGOs, builders are free to come up with an endless variety. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Toy I have Played with in 40 Years
This system is phenominal. We own version 1.5, purchased a year ago and we have not put it down. And trust me, this is not for kids only. I only wish there was something around like this when I was 12 - I was stuck with Robbbie the Robot replicas.
When my son opened it for Christmas, we knew it would be a big hit. We have spend uncountless hours working on this together (quality, quality time) and the problem solving skills he has gained have put him in a position that he can now program a computer in Visual Basic at 12 years. (Not that this system teaches you VB, but it sure teaches you logic and structure, necessities for any program language)
We have since bought all the expansion kits, a few books and have built robots capable of some unbelievable feats.
Keep in mind that older Technic sets work well with these sets as well as many of the other Lego sets you have.
I would recommend this set to anyone, especially those who longed for a real robot as a child, not a "flashing lights only" Robbie.

Best think ever
I have this toy for more then a yeat and it still is fun,i keep making stuff i even made a robotic hand, this is the best thing ever well what are you wating for buy it!!!

Beware of software incompatibilty
Unless you have Windows 98 or Windows ME, it may not work (who knows -- you may get lucky). I refuse to use either of these operating systems, which I consider wretched. The Mindstorm official FAQ says it was tested only on those 2 operating systems. For those who can get it to work, apparently it's a great product.

Great Product, but IR Tower has problems w/certain computer
Great Product - but like another reviewer, I had the same issues with the IR Tower and XP. Non of the Lego Support Documents were of much use, but using an older PC with Windows 98 did the trick.

A MUST!!!!!
I am an engineering student and we use these in our robotics lab. Adults with an interest in programming can use java or C to program, children can use the included software. The software is an easy to use visual drag and drop type software. I would recommend every parent to purchase this toy. It allows the kids to learn the basics of programming and see the immediate results when the program is downloaded to the robot. My 9 year old daughter never lost interest in my assignments. This is one of the best learning toys I have ever seen. I am planning on purchasing on for myself to use with my daughter (lots of little parts, messy children will need some supervision or most of the robot will be in the vacuum). Children between 7-12 will enjoy the product, with alot of assistance from parent, over 12 should have no trouble at all with it. Excellent for education, and a lot of fun for a parent - child activity. ... Read more

In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. Soft, flexible rubber parts on many of the toys make them just right for a little playful gnawing when baby is teething, while other toys in the set come with smoother plastic parts that have been rounded off to prevent injury. --Chris Burns ... You get a lot for the price
We bought this set for our then 1 month old son for Christmas. Now that he's almost 7 months old, he plays EXCLUSIVELY with these toys. They are adorable, fun, easy to grasp( the only exception are the theething toys, that are a little bit heavy with the water inside). I have to say though: the toys we got are a little different from the ones I see in the picture here, but I bet these are great too - Sassy makes great baby toys. For the price you pay there are so many of them, that I've decided to give them to my baby one at a time, according to his age. Some of them are still in the box. We use the links to attach toys to his stroller or crib. The set makes a great gift too, especially for multiple babies. I gave it to my cousin's twins: they can share and there's plenty for both of them. All around a good product, highly recommended.

3-0 out of 5 stars warning for the babies who are theething
the toys are cute and great for the baby to play with. the only drawback are the colorful teether toys. when the baby gets few teeth and bites the teether toys, the paint comes off!!!!!!!!!!!! unfortunately, all the teether toys had to be thrown away. babie's safety is more important!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Best Gift Ever!
We received this as a gift when my daughter was born. She's now one year old, and still plays with these toys. This was by far the best gift we received, and I am now buying it for friends' babies.

3-0 out of 5 stars I'm a copy cat!
My sister gave this toy to my newborn daughter. Now I consider it a must for friends' babies. I just ordered it for my friends twins. There are plenty to share, and 2 rubber duckies!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have
This set of toys is a definite 'must-have' for all babies! I cannot beleive the amount of use we have gotten out of these toys. It seems that everytime my 8-month-old daughter is reaching for one of her favorite toys, I realize it is something from this set. One word of caution--even though the octopus is supposed to be a bath toy, I would not use it as such. I believe the water gets trapped inside and gets moldy. It is a fun toy outside of the bath anyway. ... Read more

Nothing soothes a baby into slumber like music. Now baby canhave a CD player right in the crib. This battery-operated CD playerattaches securely to a crib rail and also has a soft-glow night-lightthat can be turned on or off, making it easy to check on baby duringthe night. This small streamlined-looking unit has a child-resistantcover to keep control buttons out of reach of curious hands. Withstandard CD player controls, high-clarity speakers, and an automaticshutoff, this CD player makes it possible to play your favorite CDselections in the nursery--at bedtime, naptime, or anytime. This playermay also be used as a tabletop unit once baby outgrows the crib.Although this is a great product concept, many users have found that itis quite impractical, as the slightest brush against the CD player orbump in the crib causes the CD to skip. 5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!
My baby loves music! So, I bought this CD player since it hangs on the crib and has automatic shut off. I've been using it for the past six months and love it. At first, it seemed the music was too quiet, but at night when the house is quiet for bedtime, it's the perfect level. The CD player hasn't skipped and I can push a button and it'll shut off in 15 mintues. It also has a night light that automatically shuts off. I use it every night with my baby and found that if I always use the 15 minute button, the batteries last pretty long. I have definitely used this CD player, changing CDs all the time. I would recommend it. It is rather expensive, but I've got my money from it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the price
I don't know why some reviewers don't like this product. It's extremely convenient, and doesn't eat batteries at ALL. My daughter is four months' old, we use this every night, and still haven't had to change the batteries. The volume level is perfect for lulling her to sleep. I love that it fits right on the crib and doesn't have to be plugged in with cords dangling around. It's also safer than a regular CD player because it's impossible for the kids to get into. Turning on Mozart every night has become part of her bedtime ritual... I just press play, lay her down, and she goes right to sleep.

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit on most cribs
This would have been perfect providing it fit on most cris. I thought it was the most wonderful invention until trying to put it on the crib. I also took it to the store & tried it on 10 cribs to find it only fit 2!

3-0 out of 5 stars Good concept, but won't work like it should
I thought this was a marvel idea, as most everyone else thought. I even got it 50% off. No wonder. I do like that it attaches to the crib and it has a nightlight and can have a timer but the cons outweigh the pros.
First off it does eat batteries quickly and changing the batteries is hard. Why do they make it so difficult to change batteries on baby toys? You ahve to unhook the light part then find(!) a screwdriver that fits the screw to unscrew it and then reassemble it all. There have been many a night when it would not work due to dead batteries and no screwdriver to be found or no batteries in the house.
The most annoying thing is that the volume does not work. It is scratchy sounding like it has static in it. You have to find a certain millimeter area where the volume control will work. I did find that if I insert a small piece of cardboard under the dial it pushes it up and it will work correctly. I'm assuming mine is a lemon and I need to somehow exchange it.

Also the volume never goes too loud. I would like it a little louder for when it is in our toddler's room on her chest of drawers. She can barely hear it. We also like to play fun, dance songs and can barely hear it.
I think we are going to get a small cd player for her room that plugs in to save money on batteries and save our sanity.
I wish this device had a place to plug it up.
Good concept but doesn't work!

1-0 out of 5 stars Lemon Law This One!
Our first one stopped working in a few days after we brought the baby home. We exchanged it for a new one and that lasted one month before breaking. The light still works, but the CD portion is junk. DON't waste your money. Get a cheap boom box or alarm clock w/ cd player and plug it into the wall. ... Read more

Baby Loves These Blocks!
Our 9 month old baby has been playing with these for the past 5 months. The colors are bright, and the textures are varied - he loves putting them in his mouth. He especially loves the yellow one with a quacking duck and will look around for it if he can't see it. They're nice and soft, so when he knocks them down if they're stacked he won't get hurt. I was pleased to see that they even have them at his day care.

5-0 out of 5 stars So much fun!
My daughter is 4 months old and she just loves these! When I took them out of the box she got so excited. They are easy for her to hold and to eat! They are bright and each one does something. The green one vibrates, the yellow one quacks and has a mirror, and the blue and red ones have bells inside. They are soft and light, so they are perfect for babies learning how to hold toys. I highly recomend these blocks!

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME TOY - GREAT LANGUAGE TOOL TOO!
Since my son was a week old we've been using these blocks every day. His favorite is the "quack quack quack" sound - his eyes get so big! They are a great source of entertainment and teach baby at the same time.
They are also a great way for baby to learn to reach with both hands and bring a toy up to his mouth - they are just the perfect size and so soft.
My husband and I are teaching our son both English and Afrikaans. Talking about the colors, animals, fruits and textures in two languages is a great tool for bilingual babies!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

5-0 out of 5 stars So cute
This blocks are so cute! They do all different things. My son loves to play with them & we have also given them as gifs. It's a wonderful toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute, soft, fun!
I bought these when my daughter was 4 months old - at the store I pulled the frog's leg and she started giggling. Who could resist? There's a quacking duck, vibrating frog, mirror under a sunny flap and jingling blocks. The six sides have different textures, and our daughter loves the feel of the soft side on her cheek. The duck keeps her entertained during diaper changes, and she loves to chew on the mirror flap. I stack the blocks for her to knock down with glee. They're soft so she can throw them, chew on them, no worries. At this point she can't pull the frog leg or make the duck quack, but that's probably what gives these toys a long life. We love these blocks! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for in the car too!
I bought this versatile (and fairly inexpensive) little mirror, not for in the crib, but for in the car and it works great! I was facing a 500 mile drive, alone with a 4 year old and a 2.5 month old who hated the car. Literally screamed every time (for the whole time) we were in it. I was desparately browsing through the toy store and came across this. I attached it to the head rest posts with the crib ties and it sits at just the right angle for my little one to see. I'm not sure whether she likes the patterns or seeing herself but she clearly loves the mirror. We made the trip (both wasy) with a bare minimum of crying. Love it, love it, love it. Did I mention that I love it?!

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter LOVED this!!
When my daughter was a few weeks old, my husband and I went to the store to get her a mirror, because we'd read that babies like to look at faces. We chose this one because of the fact that it can either tie to the side of the crib or fold out to stand upright on the floor. The toys were also a big factor in the sell, as they meant that she could keep playing with the mirror when she wasn't content to just stare at it anymore.
We took it home, and she loved it! We laid her on the floor and set it up next to her, and she stared at her reflection and reached for the baby and was pretty happy for quite a while, just looking at herself. As she got older and discovered her hands, she started playing with the toys, the bird being her favorite. It has a bell in it, so she'd shake it to hear the bird.
Now that she's 9 months old, she still loves it. The mirror hangs in her crib now, and when she wakes up in the morning, she talks to her reflection. This was definitely a good buy and I would (and have!) refer it to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves this mirror
We bought this for our daughter when she was around 3-4 weeks. She would just stare at this mirror forever. The colors really keep her attention, and she loves to see a pretty baby looking back at her. There was fingerprints on the mirror within a couple of weeks already. She started "talking" to herself a lot more when we got this mirror. The first time she laughed was at the ladybug, when we spun it. She's just over 4 months now, and still loves to look at it. She rolls over just to get to it. The only bad thing (which isn't really all that bad) is that it tips so easily. It's a good toy, and a good price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Loves It!
My daughter absolutely loves this mirror. I bought it when she was still sleeping in her bassinette and so put it next to her changing table. She stares at it constantly while I'm changing her diapers and grabs for all the bright colors. Now that it is hanging in her crib, she still loves to look at the baby in the mirror just as much as she did before.

5-0 out of 5 stars My son's favorite!
My son can spend an entire hour playing with this toy. He just LOVES it. He talks to himself in the mirror, smacks the little ball round, and tries to pull off everything else. It's nice because you can take it out of the crib and stand it up on the floor with the baby too. When folded out, it's in a triangle so if the baby is laying in the crib, he can see himself. I put a photo of his dad and I on the other side, and I notice the baby likes to lift up the toy to look at it. ... Read more

Honk! Honk! It's gridlock and the little red car can't move. The player is a traffic cop in the Rush Hour Traffic Jam Puzzle wherethe objective is to get the red car off the road. To play, pick one of40 challenge cards; solutions are printed on the back of each card. Then set up the cars and buses in a specified pattern on the6-inch-square road grid. Move the vehicles one by one (obey those trafficlaws!) until the red car can escape the traffic jam. There are fourlevels of difficulty. Kids can alternate turns with another player orjust "play in traffic" alone. The game from Binary Arts received anational award from Mensa and is used in elementary school mathclasses. The design includes clear instructions printed on the sturdybox, which can be used both as a playing tray and for storage. The gamecards stow away in a drawer in the road grid. 5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of Fun Fun Fun
This is a great puzzle. Since it is a game only one can play at a time, my nieces, ages 6 and 8 and my nephew age 11 took turns getting the red car out of the traffic jams. They even enjoyed watching each other find the solution to each "jam". Incidently the 6 year old is almost through solving the "Advanced" puzzles and I am about to buy both additional card packs. Kids and adults will love this game.

Great "toy"
Add us to the host of folks who love this puzzle toy. I generally consult Amazon ratings before purchasing new items and any item that has this many positive ratings always catches my attention. And it lives up to the promise. My almost 7 year-old son is ADHD and I was AMAZED at the way this toy captured his attention. I expected him to become quickly frustrated and give up. But after a few successes, he was hooked. I coached him a little bit at first (and then I was hooked too!) and before I knew it, he was solving puzzles by himself and doing a better job than me! He did the first 20 in one sitting. I was amazed as I watched him begin understanding which cars had to be where in order for him to get the red car out, then he started working out his plan to get there. You have to think ahead to be successful and he was doing it!

His persistence and concentration surprised me, so if your child is having any problems sitting and concentrating on a task, don't be afraid of this toy! But, alas, as with many ADHD kids, he's also been tested as gifted, so he's already run through the first 3 levels and is now nearly done with the expert level - solving puzzles that I can't do! I have to wait until he goes to bed to even get a chance to play! There's 40 cards in the first pack. The beginning levels are pretty easy to remember the solutions, but as you go higher in difficulty, you could probably do the puzzles more than once and still be challenged. But do be prepared to buy the 2, 3, and 4 Gift Pack (a great deal for $12 on Amazon)

I LOVE the fact that you store the cards right in the bottom of the tray. However,I wish that they would put a more permanent kind of cover on the tray. Also, you cannot replace the cover when you are in the middle of a puzzle, the cars have to be in the tray in a certain way in order for the cover to fit properly. But those are extremely minor drawbacks considering the hours of entertainment my son and I have gotten.

grate!!!
I love this game and so do my familly from ages 6 - 35. you will enjoy playing this game alone at home. the greate part is that even once youv memorized this toy and all the levels (wich you will.) you can buy more cards! it is a grate present for anyone not too lazy to think a bit. everyone has their own level. Also other games such as the one croosing the river from this manufacturer are fantastic! really worth the money!

GREAT GIFT IDEA
We just got this game today and we were all instantly addicted! My 7 year old loved the challenge of the game, didn't get frustrated at all, and wouldn't even think of giving up on trying to solve the puzzles! This is a great gift idea for birthday parties, as it's inexpensive and parents will appreciate the educational value of this puzzle game.

Greatest Game Ever!
I am in the Gifted program in school and it is a lot of fun! I play this everyday. It is very challenging but an awesome game! I would reccomend it to anyone! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for music listeners!
I just picked up a set of the Promedia 2.1 a few days ago, and they sound great! Prior to buying these, I was using another decent 2.1 system, but I felt that it lacked midrange (especially on male vocals) and an overall full sound. The Klipsch deliver on both. In comparing the two systems side by side in my room, the Klipsch are far superior in sound quality. Of course the Klipsch are a bit more money, but it is well worth it if you plan on listening to a lot of music. They create a nice sound stage, and vocals sound smooth. I'm using a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard (great card!). The sound quality on the speakers is also great at low volumes, which is where many lesser systems suffer. And of course, they will get as loud as you need but still remain "listenable." Gamers and heavy DVD watchers should consider saving up for the Promedia Ultra 5.1 (assuming you can afford it and have the space).

I do have a few complaints. Like many other reviewers here, I am disappointed with the feeble wires from the satellites to the sub. A slight touch of the wires can cause the sound to crack or stop altogether. As someone else posted, Klipsch sells replacement Monster Cables on their website ($30 plus shipping). I may have to consider them. It would also have been nice to put the power switch on one of the satellites.

All in all, these are terrific speakers. They are the most "musical" speakers I've heard. I would have given them five stars if it weren't for the few shortcomings I mentioned above.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Best
I have had my Promedia 5.1 speakers since the first day they came out and beleive me they had a waiting list for hundreds of customers. Why such a big fuzz over a computer speaker set you ask? Well the answer is simple, these are not your ordinary computer speakers. Forget about Polk, Creative, Boston, and Altec Lansing, the keyword here is Klipsch. Those other speakers don't even come close to the shear power and fidelity these speakers produce. And if it is bass that you want, Klipsch hands down manufactures the World best Bass. I hooked up my speakers to an Audigy Ex card, that allowed me to hook up my PS2/Xbox and DVD to my system. There are few games with 5.1 capabilities but it does come in handy when you watch DVD's. The sound is simply amazing, and if you dont beleive me just read the other reviews on this page. Still not impressed well just hearing these speakers out once will do the trick.

1-0 out of 5 stars EXTREMELY CHEAP AND SHORT LIVED BUT BLISS WHILE IT LASTS
The first set I bought on 02-02-07 started going funny after 8 months and then I would'nt dare turn it off in case it would not come back to life and then it died 2 weeks before the end of the warranty. The dealer acknowledged that there was a unreparable problem with the unit and replaced the whole thing brand new and no charge...no wonder. As of today, 04-06-21, the replacement unit just died again and without warning this time. Alas, since the sound of this unit is so incredibly beautiful, I will buy another one but I will gladly pay the extra for a long term warranty since I will have to change the unit every year or so. By the way, the day you don't hear the zipper sound out of the satellites when you turn off the unit, it's shot! Enjoy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor design, mine crapped out
The sound is great at first, but there's a design flaw in this product that made mine useless. The right satellite speaker has the subwoofer and volume dials on it. But it's really cheap construction, and after a while the rubber dials start to vibrate and make a "chirping" sound during play. This occurs even when played at a reasonable volume. I babied these speakers and still had this problem. If you're thinking about buying these, ask yourself one question. Do you feel lucky?

5-0 out of 5 stars awsome
the speakers are awsome. i have had them for over a year and not 1 problem yet. they are almost as loud as my home theater system. there are two bad things about it. the wires from sub to sat are a bit to short. the power switch is on the sub. i dont even bother too turn my speakers off and no problems so the switch isnt realy a problem unless u are worried about your electrick bill ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
I was surprised to hear all of the mediocre reviews. My baby has 2 traveling toys which she loves. They are this, and Freddie the firefly. The music is cute... it does not sound like a live orchrestra, granted, but it entertains my baby and is catchy. It does not go on and on to the point of being obnoxious, either. The toy is soft, with many textures to play with. It has a mirror that peek a boos. She doesn't fancy the teether so much. But the toy entertains her for long car rides. She just activated the music option on her own for the first time. She is almost 5 months. She has had the toy since 3.75 months. Try one!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is my son's favorite toy--and he has so many toys!
My son's grandma bought this for him when he was about 8 weeks old. He's now 5 months old and it remains his favorite toy--the one thing that will fascinate him and attract his attention even when he's fussy. I hang it over the changing table when I change him and I give it to him to hold and play with when he's in the car. He loves to bat the spider and the crinkly panel, and nothing likes him smile like that sunshine when the music plays!

Daughter still plays with this toy!
I received this as a shower gift. It's one of the first toys my daughter was interested in, starting at around 2 months. At 9 months she still loves it, and has figured out how to make the music go by herself. I don't find the music that annoying, maybe because it's classical. My baby takes full advantage of all the features of this toy: the music, things to chew on, rattles, colors and textures. She really looks like she's concentrating when she plays with it. I'll admit at 9 months her interest is waning a bit, but she still likes it alot, esp. to chew on.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just turn the music off...
My 5 1/2 month old loves this toy. He plays with it all the time, constantly reaching for it, grabbing it and playing with each and every item on it. I figured I'd write a review and recommend it. I read the reviews and the first one talked about how bad the music is. Funny thing is we didn't even know there was music. We had, apparently, never turned it on so our son just loves it quietly :) Once I read the review I found the switch and turned it on- it is pretty annoying.

So, the best advice I can give, is buy this for your babies or as a gift because it's fantastic... just never put the music on. Not every toy needs to make noise and this toy has so much going for it that it's unnecessary.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this toy
My 5 month old son LOVES this toy. Yes, the music is tinny and annoying to us, but so is the music in every other musical toy we have. He has been completely intrigued by this toy for the last 6 weeks. Personally, I think this is a fantastic toy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game
The new Star Wars plug-in video game is awesome. There are five different games that are included: The Gunship Battle, Grievous Onslaught, Coruscant Attack, Droid Invasion, and Utapau Chase. You are wielding lightsabers deflecting blasts from droids in one game while you are piloting a Jedi starfighter launching an attack on Separatist battleships on another.

My favorite game is the Utapau Chase. I am Obi-Wan Kenobi tracking down General Grievous while being chased by enemy Bogas and avoiding turret gun fire. I can upgrade my blasters, armor my Boga, or acquire extra lives. This game combines the classic arcade game graphics with the versatility of a great video game. It is fast paced and fun. I would recommend this game to both Star Wars and video game fans alike.

5-0 out of 5 stars Utapau Chase Rules!!!
I just got this game and it rules! It's cool because it brings back the old school gaming with a new school attitude to it.All you do is actually plug it in and play it.The game is all self explanatory and comes with instructions on how to play any of the five games in it.The five games are great, but I have to say the one I like the most is the Utapau Chase. Also another cool feature is that it saves your scores. The graphics and the gameplay are both smooth and i didnt find any bugs playing this game, like you normally would find.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny....
The games are fun for the most part and the controller is very comfortable. The space battle game reminds me of the 80's arcade game Bosconian (with much better graphics). All the games control perfectly with the analog stick (yes, it's a REAL analog) and the sound effects are sampled right from the films. My 3.2 year old son actually enjoys these games, but a couple are VERY hard (rescue Palpatine comes to mind). Overall, this is something I will never tire of, and for 20 bucks....it's a steal.

5-0 out of 5 stars 80's-style gaming with a modern edge!
As a 33-year old who has not yet commited to a game platform, this plug & play was a real treat. As it says in the title, it is 80's-style gaming with a modern edge.AND you can save the high scores!I found myself playing and enjoying it for hours. All 5 of the games included in this plug & play emulate a classic 80's arcade game, but incorporate characters and locations from the new trilogy of prequels. This is not a complaint, I thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of the toy, as did my 36-year old brother. (And 2-year old son.) You may find that you quickly master a few of these games, but the time spent getting there is well worth it.It is cool looking, has a great controller, and the games are challenging and well-designed, indeed. Enjoy! ... Read more

Today’s video games with all their bells and whistles had to begin somewhere, and that somewhere was your living room, in, say, 1982.Remember Asteroids, Missile Command, and Breakout? How about Centipede, Adventure and Gravitar? This TV Games Video System--just a "smart" joystick and nothing else--delivers 10 classic games in all. The joystick has the typical up-down-left-right movements, and single functions to select, start, and reset games. Front-and-center is a big, red fire button ("fire" being the only way to propel or kill things back then). The unit hooks up to your TV via those yellow and white AV output jacks (which should already be on your TV or VCR), and requires 4 "AA" batteries. --Diane Beall ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great nostalgia kick
I was a huge Atari fan back in the day, so I was very excited about this product when I saw it in stores. My wife took the hint and picked one up for me. What a great little product! I have had a great time getting into the old classics, and even my kids are enjoying it. ADVENTURE is especially good and is easily the game I play most. There is only one dark spot on this product - some of the games they chose for this joystick product were originally designed for the old paddle controller. Pong and Breakout just aren't the same.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
I thought this would be a fun purchase, but it's not!

Like the reader before, the games don't even look like they did in the arcade, for example Centepede, when the game is about to boot up, the screen shows the original screen with mushrooms but when the game play starts the mushrooms turn into red blocks!

None of the games match the originals. Very dissapointing!

1-0 out of 5 stars COOL gaming system!!!!
im Erik Brillhart and when i was growing up, my parents' freinds had an Atari 2600. when i was playing it, i didnt wanna stop! then i saw this when i used it, it was just like the Atari 2600! i really love this thing and it can take a heck of a beatin'. but u wont learn anything from it exept how to have a fun time!

My grandma got me this game and I love it I also have the controller with 10 games.

1-0 out of 5 stars NO GOOD!
I am very disappointed with this product. It's not even worth 20 bucks. The graphics/sounds aren't even close to the original games. Plus, it doesn't even work properly. TOO many glitches have started appearing and it's only been used a few times. (and not by abusive children, but by adults) Please don't waste your money on this poorly made product. MS pacman one is bad news too. ... Read more

Even electronic toys have gone extreme. Kids love the original Bop It, an electronic toy that challenges response time to pull, twist, and bop different parts of the toy. The Extreme 2 version adds two more tasks, more sounds, and a taunting, smart-aleck announcer who directs the game. As you get better, the game moves faster until you miss a beat and lose, accompanied by a fair amount of noise and ridicule from the toy. People who don't think they'd ever want to play Bop It Extreme 2 won't be able to put it down; it instills a compulsive need to bop till you drop. It can be played in a group and makes a good party game--even for serious adults. --Lynne Sampson ... Read more

The Best game!
Bop it Extreme 2 is the best! My sister got it for her birthday but, I love playing it! Before I could only get 1 or 2 but, now I have 38.
I play it when I wake up, when I have extra time, & before I go to bed!
I like all the things you can play on it and, that it has a volume control and, that it tells you what the high score is.
This game is really fun! People should purchase this item.

Bop it extreme 2 vs Bop it extreme
Hi, I'm a 19 years old college student attending UCSD. I live in a suit with other students and we use to hang out, but we got nothing to do. I decided to buy this toy to promote some social interactions. To my surprise, everybody just jumps in and have a blast. We played endless Pass it! games. It REALLY trains your reflex skill. I find it so much fun that I had to write a review, which I rarely do.

As for the difference between the Bop It Extreme and the Bop It Extreme 2 versions.(I had this question when I buy this toy)
1) The Bop It Extreme 2 version has 3 levels of volume, while the Bop It Extreme has one LOUD volume.
2) The Bop It Extreme 2 has an earphone jack for personal enjoyment, while the Bop It Extreme doesn't.
3) The Bop It Extreme 2 TELLS you at the end your score(i.e. "You scored forty-eght"), while the Bop It Extreme plays different sounds to denote score(i.e. "whistle, whistle, rachet, rachet, rachet, drum, drum, drum, drum"). Hence requiring you to count and decipher which sound worth more points than other.
4) The Bop It Extreme 2 has more music than the Bop It Extreme as advertised.
5) The Bop It Extreme 2 has rubber grip and better grip-mold for the Spin it! wheel.
6) The Bop It Extreme 2 just looks much cooler, hands down! :D

Playing this game Solo is fun, but get together w/ your friends and you all will have a BLAST!

NOT soooo great,
VERY,VERY noisey. It is hard for me to get a high score. They whant you to do it so fast. (Yes, I know a game should be challinging.) And to tell you it takes a odd number of batterys,3 of 'em. One time the batterys got corroded so it made it hard to get out. I never did play with it again. The sound got scratchy too. (...)I do not recomend any of the Bop It toys to anyone.

So much better then Extreme 1!
Wow! This is a pretty fun game. The original was so loud and annoying, and the speaker was tinny. Bop it Extreme 2, though a little easier, is so much better. It also has a Bop It button that is less prone to getting accidentally hit.

EXTREME fun for all ages!!!
Bought as a gift for my son, the whole family has enjoyed this unique little gizmo. I can't help but think that this must help with thinking skills. Totally portable, it's a favorite at sleep-overs... it's even more popular than Gameboy, and that's saying something. A very healthy family game! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Light up Mirror
This was a Christmas gift from Grandpa when my daughter was 6 mths old. She loves to look at herself in the mirror, but she really likes the lights and the music. I think the toy is attemping to teach kids rhythm through the flashing of the lights. Every time I pull the bird she gets excited. I have been trying to teach her to pull the bird, but like everyone else I pull the bird. It is a good way for she & I to interact with each other and tap to the music though. I still like this toy despite the fact a parent has to play an active part to make the toy work.

3-0 out of 5 stars Bird is too hard to pull!!
Is it just mine or all the birds hard to pull?? I feel like I'm going to rip it off, but it won't play unless I pull really hard on it. My daughter will never be able to play the music herself. She does love to look at herself in the mirror.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy
We purchased this for our daughter when she was 4 months old, at first she couldn't pull the bird and turn on this mirror herself, but soon enough she learned and plays with it all the time...She is 15 mon now and LOVES this toy, she plays with it before her naps and before her bed-time, and even during the night, if she wakes up before morning...it soothes her because she is familiar with the songs and she really enjoys the lights as well. I have bought this for 3 pregnant friends and will buy even more BE products for them in the future.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
I bought this as a crib mirror for my daughter hoping she would entertain herself before falling asleep or upon waking. Unfortunately, the bird is just too difficult for a little one -- it really requires some strength. Also, the music is too loud for a crib toy -- it should be a little more soothing.

2-0 out of 5 stars grrrrrrrr
I have had nothing but trouble with the bird. I have to tug on it repeatedly to make the music start, and if I can't do it I know that my 3 month-old daughter can't start it when she pulls on it. ... Read more

When the sun beats down over the long haul, this jaunty, adjustable red polyester umbrellatransforms a little red wagon into a shady Conestoga. And it will serve you well should you be surprised byrain showers on your journey. You could also clamp it on a lawn chair, a cooler handle, a park railing, or abackpack strap. The neoprene-padded jaws of the sturdy plastic, 6.5-inch spring clamp move smoothly on180-degree hinges, so the umbrella gets a flat, slip-proof grip on objects that are from an eighth of an inchto 2 inches thick--even on wet wood or slick metal. Made especially to sit pretty on a classic Radio Flyerwagon, the versatile, heavy-duty clamp also accommodates non-planar surfaces, such as a wide-lippedwall. Unfasten the Velcro closure and slide open a taut 26.5-inch diameter circle of shade made of chunky,top-quality materials. A 4-inch-long, .375-inch-diameter metal-spiraled neck above the clamp allows you toadjust the shade to any angle in any direction. This beauty is made to last as long as a Radio Flyer wagon! The umbrella is 30.75 inches long, and comes with instructions. Ava Natov ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Didn't hold up....
I bought two of these umbrellas for the ATW wagon. They both broke at the plastic clip area after one time of using them. The clip is made of plastic and wasn't very durable for the wagon. It would make a better stroller umbrella.

Great Concept but Not Durable
The umbrella is a great idea and works well with the radio flyer wagon. The problem is ours broke after limited use. The umbrella did not bend easily in the coil area. We found that when people adjusted the umbrella they always bent it where the button is to put the umbrella up and down. In the end that is where the umbrella snapped in two. So just take your time when trying to bend the umbrella to block the sun!

A Taper's Delight
This little baby is perfect for concert tapers looking for an easy way to attach an umbrella to their stand. Forget about Duct and Gaffer's tape. Just clamp, and you're ready to record in the rain.

+T to all....

Don't buy for a plastic wagon
The clamp on this broke the FIRST time I attempted to put it on my Discovery
wagon. I assume the spring and clamp are not meant to open that wide.
It is a strong clamp & should be suited to a metal or wooden sided wagon.

Useful but very fragile!
I bought three of these umbrellas. 2 for my youngest daughters wagon because you need 2 to cover the whole wagon. Plus one for my oldest daughters wheelchair. They really are wonderful to have if you remember not to just grab and bend them from anywhere. My husband has snapped all three of them in half because he forgets that he has to be gentle. I have recently ordered another one just because it's impossible to find a clip on umbrella for a wheelchair for when it's raining. BUT... I will not be buying more for the wagon. Too much money to spend for something that breaks so quickly to only be used for shading sun! (...) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Nerve-Wracking, Yet Highly Contagious Game
"Catch Phrase" is one of the many cool things I have discovered since being in college. I'll bet hardly anyone has heard of it (no one had heard of it where I come from anyway), but it is one of the most contagious games around.

The premise of the game is simple: After setting the timer, your team has to guess what word or phrase is visible on the screen. The unit cannot be passed until someone says exactly what is on the screen. When someone does guess correctly, you pass it on to a member of the other team.

For example, if the word was "pumpkin," you could say something along the lines of, "Okay, guys, Peter-Peter-blank-eater!" If someone has been keeping up on their nursery rhymes, he or she will know that the word in place of "blank" is "pumpkin." Make sense?

This game is a blast when you get a huge amount of people to play. About a month ago, around 20 of us were playing it at the same time. Good times there, folks!

Fun: Fun, fun, FUN. I can't reiterate it enough. It's interesting to see how nervous people get when the timer starts beeping faster; hence, the buzzer is about to go off. For some reason, people get really panicky when the pressure starts to build. It's only a game, people! Of course, you don't realize that at the time. Everyone is yelling out answers, and with all the excitement going on, your heartbeat can rise in a hurry.

Educational Value: This is a thinking game. That's the only way I know how to put it. You have to think about what it is your teammate is trying to say without he or she actually coming out and saying it. And they're not all as easy as "pumpkin." There are some real stumpers in this game, and that only adds to the fun (or frustration depending upon what side you're on).

Durability: This game is very durable. Just don't drop it! It probably wouldn't hold up very well since this is the electronic version.

In short, "Catch Phrase" is a very cool game. It's great to play with a lot of people, and it never gets boring. I've played this numerous times, and I always have interesting stories to tell the next day.

Best.....Party.....Game.....EVER!
I really can't fid anything wrong with this game. There are 10,000 words, so if you find a repeat word, it is incredibly rare. The educational value isnt that good, but, it isn't a game you buy for educational value. You buy it for fun, and that's what it delivers. Everyone will be laughing at the hilarity of some of clues. If you haven't already, buy this game.

Awesome!!!!
I fell in love with this game ever since I saw my parents and their friends playing it at a New Years Eve party. The game is great for both kids and adults. There's even a 'Family' category, which gives easier words to guess. No matter how old you are, you're bound to love it!
The only annoying thing about it is the sound, which you can't turn off or down. But if you lay it flat on the table or put your hand over the speaker while you play, then it's more than bearable.
Probably the best thing about this game is that you can bring it anywhere. It's just one little electronic game. No cards, game pieces, or anything else.
I would definitely recommend it for everyone!

Great Adult Game
We bring this game where-ever we go. We even gave one to my sister-in-law. All of us adult cousins will play once the kids are in bed. We even got my mother-in-law in one game. And she loved it. Some questions test your knowledge. Others are real simple. Sometimes we rhym especially if we can't think of anything else. The one I remember: answer was Long Johns - our Rhym was Slong Bongs. We still laugh over that clue! This is one gift we always give for Wedding Showers and Birthdays. The electronic version is so much better than the other cause all you have is one piece - very portable and packable. I guarantee you'll love it. We take ours everywhere!

Great Party Fun
This is the updated version of the original CATCHPHRASE. Instead of having cards to insert into the slot and also keep score, this electronic version takes all the fun of the classic game and updates it with 10,000 words and phrases, timer and scoring device in an all-inclusive, easy-to-carry electronic unit. This fast paced game of words and phrases lets players rattle off as many clues as they can until somebody on their team yells out the answer. Players keep passing the game unit as they talk and try not to get caught holding it when the buzzer sounds. This fast-paced game is perfect party entertainment. ... Read more

I love this wagon so much my child enjoys it and its wheels are rubber so they can go anywhere ... the wagon is a great thing to have .

Can't get my child out of her new wagon!
We gave my daughter this wagon for her first birthday. She loves it! She wants to ride every morning before work and again in the afternoons. She brings friends along (human and stuffed) and there is plenty of room for four small children. The high rails allow a good view but keep her safely inside giving Mom enough reaction time when she tries to stand in it (which she does frequently!)
The big wheels make for a smooth comfortable ride for all.
I HIGHLY recommend this affordable, safe, classic toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Classic Keeps Getting Better!
Fifty two years ago, my grandparents got me my first Radio Flyer and it is still used today. We just got our two-year-old son the Radio Flyer All Terrain wagon with the air tires and have ordered the handle extension and the bed pad. The "classic" just keeps getting better! It is true that "New Products Give the Dream a New Life."

This wagon is awesome! The big air tires make it really easy to pull and it is a much softer ride for my 3 kids. Yes, this wagon is big enough for all 3 of them to go for a ride together. The bright, red wooden sides remove which makes it alot easier to load this wagon in the car when our family goes on "field trips". The ATW is so big and rugged I use it for my gardening and yard work too. ... Read more
