Pooh Fan Loves This
My 2 1/2 year old loves the original Winnie The Pooh movie. This book is an abridged section of this movie. My little boy can sit through each page, listen to the stories, and touch everything to make sure he does not miss any sounds. He loves every page in the book. He is not a fan of any of the books with Leap, except the story in the book that came with the Leap Pad. If your child likes Pooh or the Pooh movie, then this book is a must.

Can pass on this unless your child is a winnie the pooh fan
This one has a rather sad story where tigger gets into trouble with bouncing, ending up stuck in a tree with baby roo. The story ends with rabbit gloating over him and wanting him to stop bouncing for ever after tigger is rescued. So, my 2 year old never wants to finish reading this story, its just too too sad! He likes the pooh bear story much better! Not too mqny activities and games either on each page

Not a great addition to our Leap Library
Although my four-year-old daughter loves Leap's Birthday Hunt, she rarely uses this book. The story isn't as engaging as the Leap stories and the games aren't as interactive and fun. From now on, we're sticking to the Leap series. ... Read more

Leap to Order
For the price this is a great accessory for your LeapPad! My son gets twice the number of cartridges and books it it with plenty of room to spare. We even have some ziplocks with extras that can fit in no problem. The padded straps are easy on the shoulders and everything is neat and safely transported from grams house to friends to the doctor's office and everywhere in between. If you travel with your little one and their pad this is a great help.

Oh and big deal about the color difference. IF that's such a concern that it warrants a trip back to the store you have WAY too much time on your hands. My advice: use that extra time to read with your child! Life is too short and childhood too precious.

The price is great and IT WORKS just as it should and more. Another great Amazon offering.

Get the LeapPad Storage System instead
Go to Walmart.com. They have a LeapPad Storage System, which holds 12 cartridges and books, for $20. It has a handle so it's just as easy for kids to lug around. And, in my opinion, is much more attractive and practical than a backpack. A much better deal.

Perfect accessory
Just wanted to let everyone know that if your child has the leapfrog, this is a perfect addition. My son receieved the frog for x-mas, and I could not find a case anywhere. The books and tapes were everywhere, know they are all together, and he thinks it is cool to have a little backpack. Plus as an added bonus, the green and blue, are the same colors as the leapfrog, so we also coordinated.

A great way to store your Leappad
I actually received this as a "bonus" when I bought my Leap Pad from my local retailer.

This is an excellent solution to the question "where do you store your Leap Pad, cartridges and books so they don't get damanged".

I have found that my 4 year old has no problem opening and closing the backpack, getting the books and cartridges out (and more importantly putting them away!)but once everything is packed up she does find it a little awkward to put on her back herself and finds it a little heavy on her back. She prefers to carry it by her side.

Perfect size when you are starting your Leap Pad collection.

This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. With the black and white Rescue Hero Mission Masters software, you can choose from four mission locations: arctic, sea, wilderness or city. Within those mission locations, you have four activities to choose from. When you select the Scene Starters activity, you get your rescue mission assignment from Warren Waters. With Scene Starters, you can use digital stamps, shapes, or freeform drawing to add to one of the Pixter backgrounds. If you stamp a picture of a dog in the landscape, Warren Waters will tell you about a rescue involving animals that are in danger; if you put the fire stamp on something, he'll tell you there is a fire emergency, and so on. There are also puzzles to put together, a maze to solve, and a mix and match game. It's a great tool for learning to tell time
This item is a bit pricey for what you get, but it is really a helpful tool in teaching children to read time. I ordered it two months ago, and by the time Christmas rolled around, my daughter wasn't having trouble with time so much. Still, it is very interactive with her daily life, including magnets for kids to practice time in conjunction with their daily activities. I highly recommend this item, especially if your children are just starting to learn to tell time.

Educational and great time teacher!
We received this item as a gift for our 4 yr old son's birthday. The concept is great in that the child can relate activities in their day to certain times on the toy. Our son can now understand half hours, 45 minutes, etc!
The only complaint is that the magnetic hold on the magnets is pretty weak...so they don't stick real well and fall off easily if you brush up against the board. The pen also doesn't stick well to the surface and the magnet has already fallen off of it. ... Read more

I really think that the screen could be bigger. you have to hold the laptop different ways before to can see the writing on the screen. Very hard for little girls to work with.

it stinks
This toy stinks on ICE! I hate it. Mine doesnt even go online! Thats so sad! How do you have a Barbie Chat With Me ONLINE Labtop and you cant go online! And it looks like a baby toy, It is so PRINCESS. Every thing is mainly Princess in Barbie. I am about to change my favorite toy brand to Bratz Dolls. Barbie is so Kiddie! This is a waste of money!!!
Don't waste your money on this lame toy! It does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! My daughter was excited to receive this laptop only to find out it doesn't do a single thing and it is BORING!!! I tried it myself several times and have to say I see zero learning value and it is just the DUMBEST toy out there especially for the money it costs. It is a total waste of money! The maker makes you think it does all of this stuff when in actuality is doesn't even play a (real) song!

Great for your kindergartener

Be sure this is the one you need.....
We have been very happy w/ all of our Leap Pad books. But read the descriptions carefully! I thought I had read the description right and ordered an English/Spanish vocabulary book, but this book is all in spanish (all the directions, and game instructions everything.) While it is still helpful in pointing at the word to hear the spanish word, we can't play the page by page games (as I am not fluent in spanish!!) Love the Leap Pad!
