5-0 out of 5 stars Tires!Full tires and wheels!
Not much more to add to the previous review except what a collector wants to know.I don't invest in much Mattel and Hasbro has to offer in the line of vehicles. This is because for some reason, both have a tendency to mold the tires of their vehicles on the "show" side only.Which means that they mold half a tire only, out of plastic with the other inside half open and hollow. This looks and is cheap.

Well, this Batmobile has soft rubber (or vinyl) pneumatic tires on full rims.Traction is great and the look and feel are excellent. This is a heavy vehicle as a result. This feature was the selling point for me.Well done Mattel, well done indeed.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST BATMOBILE EVER!!!
For those of you who are eagerly anticipating the new Batman movie, Batman Begins, then you obviously know about the very cool action figures and toys that Mattel has produced for the movie. yesterday was april 2nd, and i eagerly went to my 'toys R us' to see what Bat-goodies they had. Out of all the lines of toys that i saw, the only ones that were particularly apealing to me were the "Battle-Gear Batman" action figure, the 12"
Deluxe "Action-Cape" Batman, and, of course, the Batmobile itself. I have read sooo much about this toy (not to mention the care itself) and have wanted this ever since i saw it. So, I picked up the only 2 items I could get, the battle gear batman (the BEST BB action figure ive seen) and the Batmobile. When i got home, i tore open these items, and boy was i surprised. They were both STUNNING, but ill tell you about the Batmbile for now (duh, lol). first off, its an AMAZING looking piece of machinary (in the film AND the toy), and the sculpt on it compared to the movie is TOP NOTCH. It has very coool sounds that can be activated by the push of little red buttons on the roof of the car. the button on the left makes a loud "roaring down the street" sound that is LOUD for a toy, lol, which is a good thing, and at the same time the sound happens, the booster in the back of vehicle lights up ornange like its on fire (like the burtonmobile but MUCH bigger and cooler). the button on the right makes a "laser" shooting sound, which is strange cuz i dont think the batmobile has lasers on it, but i could be wrong, but its probably just a toy gimmick thats not in the movie to make it look cooler, im not sure, i just pretend its a machine gun, lol. at the same time the noise occurs, 2 little red lights in the front of the car light up red. the middle button, the BEST button, lol, is the most part of this toy. when you press it, 2 side missle firing launchers pop out with a bang, and then you push the red button on the missle launchers to fire the little red missles inside them. right when they pop out, you hear a "vroom" kinda sound, giving the impression that the launchers are "unloading". the same sound occurs when you push the launchers back in. also, at the same time this happens with the missle launchers, 2 different lights light up green in the front of the car that basically act as headlights. a switch on the bottom of the car turns the sounds off,on, or have the head lights stay on longer. the color of the batmbile is NOT a perfect Black color, but a dark dark purple, or a black-to fade-purple hue kinda color. you ussually notice the purple more when you have the outside lights hit it, butmost of the time its looks dark, almost black. the color is almost a perfect 10, but falls a bit short cuz of the "purple hue" when in sunlight, but it does not at all take away from the toys awsomeness and look at all. there are skid marks in some places to give it the "battle worn" look, that add to it greatly. the cockpit of the car is defiantly not like other batmbile's in general. its more like a aircraft cockpit then a drivers seat, wich i think is a awsome change, and its a very big surprise to see how detailed it is inside there. theres little computer towers and things, peerfect to house a batman figure in. This is by far the absolute best and fun batmobile of all the movie versions available, for kids AND adults. im 18, and i love batman, but have seen many many lame batman toys out there, but this batmobile makes up for that 10 fold. the action cape batman, battle gear batman, and the batmbile are the only worthwhile BB toys ive seen so far, but the batmobile is easily the best Batmbile EVER MADE!! dont hesitate to purchase this bad boy, its sooo worth it!!! ... A sturdy home away from home for Superman, Wonder Woman, and other superheroes, this sprawling command tower sports battle-alert bells, a mobile elevator, and a rooftop combat station armed with a missile launcher. A trip wire on one platform and a trap door in another ensnare unsuspecting enemies, while your favorite Justice League action figure runs the whole operation from the bridge. Flipping a lever folds the tower shut, revealing only a steely exterior. There's also a shuttle craft that docks near the base and fires its own projectiles. The tower stands 21 inches and runs on three AA batteries, not included. Action figures are sold separately. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

Ker-pow! A whopping 42 inches tall, with four levels, this Batcave is accessible through a secret door behind the entertainment center in Bruce Banner's swank penthouse. A transformation elevator converts Banner into the Caped Crusader; from there, he can slide down the Batpole to a bungee drop or a missile launcher that jets out from the cave. Most notable are the remote landing platforms, connected to the cave by cords and pulleys that stick easily to bedroom windows thanks to adhesive strips. Off another landing hangs a net for catching bad guys. It takes up a lot of space, but it's a fun, ingenious toy with lots of bells and whistles. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

Holey rusted metal, Batman!
WOW! My younger brothers got this quite a few years ago, and the older version has different colors, but is exactly the same otherwise. This toy is amazingly fun! The chair and computer console, and the tank, all come off easily, so that was frustrating, but otherwise, all was great!

My brothers, as avid Batman fans and collectors, had a blast dropping Robin from the fall-in "glass" ceiling on the front of the mansion. The computer and it's chair are especially fun to play with. What seems to fuel a lot of imagination is the closet next to the computer screens. It can be rotated so that you put Batman in, turn it, and open the door to see Batman GONE! Whoa, right? The entire mansion itself can be collapsed, which is nice for travel to Grandma's or to the living room.

This toy supplies lots of fun, whether you like Batman or not!

Batcave
Great toy! My son got this toy several years ago, and he still plays with it frequently. It comes with the Alfred figure which you can't get anywhere else. It is also designed to work with the Shadowcast Batmobile, which just means the the Batmobile can drive through one of the walls--it just tilts up and the Batmobile goes under. My son didn't like that Batmobile because Robin couldn't ride with Batman, but the one designed for both figures is HUGE!!! It is durable, but the tank that comes off for the figures to fall in from the balcony gets harder and harder to get back on. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Mattel does it again
Great Job Mattel!I'm glad to see that ToyBiz didn't get their hands on the rights to do this action figure. The head mold is great!Looks like Christian Bale; has solid detail, great articulation.I bought two, one to remain in the box and one to take out.I'm a collector and always look to see the kind of job Mattel does on action figures (the Max Steel line was awesome) and they really outdid themselves on this one.Awesome job, Mattel!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Batman!
I got this figure yesterday at ToysRus andwas pleased with it. The toy has great detail, it looks better than Mattel's other 18 inch Batman, with the base and accesories, and I thought that figure is cool too. There's only one accesory, a Batarang, but that's ok, less to lose! The cape feature is alright, it looks a little goofy, but the good news is that it is made to come off! It just pops off, and can go back on easily! The figure looks a lot better with the action thingy off. I also like the fact the cape is BIG! It wraps around Batman well and makes him look more imposing. I didn't like that about other Batman figures, the cape was always too small, batman has a large cape in the comics. Anyway, this is a great figure, if you like Batman and are thinking about this figure, go ahead and get it! You'll be happy with it!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best!
I've collected Batman action figures since I was a toddler, starting with Mego's 8-inch figure, all the way to the modern DC Direct High-End collector figures. I have to say, with the possible exception of the classic Mego 12-inch magnetic figure, this is my favorite 3-d interpretation of the Dark Knight. From his highly detailed movie-accurate costume to a dead-on likeness to actor Christian Bale, it's just utterly cool looking. Batman seems to have a slight smirk on his face, reminiscent of Bale's smile at the end of "Equilibrium" Plus, there it's loaded with articulation (joints, if you're not hip to action figure jargon) and he's got a cool "action cape" that opens up lake a glider(like on movie posters) so kids should have hours of fun with this thing. Batman also comes with a Batarang, my only(minor) complaint is the Batarang could use a holster in the Utility Belt, so kids don't lose it.

3-0 out of 5 stars The Begins Action Figure To Rule Then All!!
This is a very cool figure and the best of the lot. If you have to get a Batman Begins figure to go with the AWWWsome Batmbile, then get this as soon as possible! the figure i highly detailed and looks waaay better then the "Keaton" batman figures by a long shot. the points of articulation are just enough to be able to have fun with, more articulation would have made into "knot" man, lol, so its got just the right amount, IMO. the gear he comes with is very cool too, all in the gold color to match the belt (im glad they are gold and not black, it gets boring after a while, lol). the suitcase gives us a glimpse at the "wayne enterprises" logo, and fits each gadget perfectly. the gadgets as stated before are the folding baterang which is not made of hard plastic, but of a soft rubber, which is cool too. a night vision scope that you can put on his head so he can see things from a distance, and what should have been the best gadget, the magnetic, gas-powered Grapple Gun. its the same as in the movie, just oversized for children to play with easier, as with all the gadgets. the thing that makes the grapple gun annoying is that it zips so friggin fast that it could, as stated, get frustraing, espcially for little kids, but its still fun to mess around with, so its not a big deal, its very fun to play with, just gotta be careful when it zips back up, lol. overall a superb batman begins figure, possibly the ONLY batman figiure worth gettiong in the begins line, although the grey-suited batman, partucualry the "power-punch" batman looks cool too, but this is a must for batfans everwhere. for me, ill only be getting the scarecrow, bruce-to-batman, and maaaybe the powerpunch batman, but as for the regular 5 inch figures, thats all i recomend. oh, the batmobile and action cape batman are cool as hell too!

5-0 out of 5 stars Battle Gear in Action
The one and only Batman You have all been waiting for. The Battle Gear Batman is the action figure with the most collector value because it's movie accurate. There is a black suit, a black cape, and a gold belt. As simple as it seems, it is difficult to find a plain Batman these days with so many variations. Well this is it.

The Baman is about 5 and 3/4 of an inch tall, so it's just bellow the 6 inch line. Diffrent shades of black are used through out the body, but it's not too damaging. The logo, are piece, and the boots are darker, but not very noticable. The belt is plain gold, all around; yes even in the back below the cape. There is as much detail in the back of the toy, under the cape, as there is in the front. There are ten points of articulation on the figure, which all go in well with the toy's accesories.

The accesories included in the toy are well packed in a Wayne Enterprises briefcase. The briefcase is gray with a few details here and there to make it look like a steal briefcase. The briefcase is a bit oversized, but only because inside the briefcase, three diffrent accesories fit perfectly. One of them is a folding batarang; used by Batman to help him out in almost any situation. Another accesorie is a type of heat-seeking helmet. The helmet is also in gold, and Batman's big, pointy ears fit perfectly in this helmet due to the fact that there are openings in the helmet. The helmet goes in smoothly and when it is placed, Batman's right eye is covered with a type of binocular lense. Batman's last accesorie is a bit of a dissapointment, but doesn't ruin the figure as a whole. It is a kind of oversize gun with a string that enables batman to climb buildings easily. But the string isn't very long. The string is under 7 inches and what is more frustating is that the cable winds itself back to the gun. So as soon as you let go of the endside of the gun, the cable will shoot it self back to the gun. It can get frustrating at times if planning to play with it. The gun, just like all the accesories, is in gold as the toy's belt.

Overall, this toy is as near as perfect as it gets. It's great for display or for play with just the toy. Add in the accesories, and it's a giver. A must for you or the little ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Series
If you're looking for the one "actual" Batman in the toy line, this is it.This is the one that has the closest resemblance to the actual movie costume.

As far as the figure itself, I am very pleased. The body is nicely proportioned, and it has a decent amount of points of articulation. Not as many as I would have wanted, but not crowded, either. The sculpting is very good on the detail of the suit, especially the soles of the boots.Paint is all right, although there isn't much to paint, but I believe quality varies depending on which figure you get.

As far as accessories, Battle Gear Batman delivers in spades.his suitcase carries a grapple gun, batarang, and optical device. The grapple gun does not fire, but rather retracts when pulled out.The batarang has a nice hinge in the middle, but it is kind of hard to get it in Batman's hand. The case they come in is nice as well, with a "Wayne Enterprises: Applied Sciences Division" label on it (not a cheap sticker, either).

Overall, this figure is the best of the lot.All Batman fans and people eagerly awaiting the new film should pick one up before he sells out. ... Read more

Excellent!
We ordered Superman & Batman Large Figures.
Excellent condition at a very good price.

Looks great
The great thing about this toy is that it looks awesome in packaging and is therefore great for displaying. It is an exact replica of the Superman from the JLA animated series. Another high point is that it is relatively inexpensive in comparison to the seriously overpriced Maquettes.

But the bad thing about it is that, for an action figure it has severly limited articulation. The arms and the neck move and that's basically it. But even more than that is that, it's near impossible to display this out of the box due to its seriously disproportionate upper body and lower body.

But if you are buying for a kid like my six-year old cousin who is a big fan of the JLA you won't care about any of those articulation or display complaints. They'll just be ecstatic having the toy in their hands. I also bought one but I am happy displaying it in the box. In my opinion, it's a pretty decent toy for kids and collectors.

Great, but only the guys? Where are WW and HG?
Great, kids will love this. It will be excellent for Xmas.

BUT WHERE ARE WONDER WOMAN AND HAWKGIRL?
Sheesh.

Excellet Art Deco replica of JLA on Cartoon channel
I have Green Lantern, Flash and Supe. Supe is particularly nice with the cape.

All 3 are excellent replicas of the marquettes from the JLA cartoon series. I will likely get Batman to complete the set since I have been so pleased with the 3 already.
Great substitute if you don't want to spend an insane amount of money on the marquettes. ... Read more

Its Ok.
It is a flash figure. Until DC Comics and Mattel decide to do something along the lines of DC Legends, similar to Toy Biz' Marvel Legends, we have to be thankful for ANYTHING that comes out.

Unfortunately, however, there is no detail to this line of figures. The bright side is, they do resemble the animated series, in that it is as 2 dimensional, as a drawing.

Nevertheless, since there seems to be a lack of variety in the DC world for reasonablly priced superhero figures, some accolades and applause is deservant for Mattel. We can only hope they drastically improve on the design quality; and, thank them for not gouging us on this line. A much better value than the 4 inch versions.

Where's Green Lantern?
I think these large Justice League figures are great. I personally am not disappointed in the lack of articulation (joints where the figure's limbs can move), since I'm getting these for my very young son, and he doesn't care. Besides, these figures are done in the highly simplified "cartoon" style, which to me indicates that they'd naturally be less intricate mechanically. My GRIPE is that many of these toys are not shipped in equal quantities, so there are fewer of one than the others. I've seen tons of Batman figures, but not one Green Lantern, for instance. Many of these scarcer figures are horded by collectors/dealers, leaving people like me who actually want to buy them for their children with an incomplete set. It's sad this is the way the toy business works at times. STILL, these are great toys--very iconic, very well designed.

Great for collectors
If you can't afford the $... maquette, this is great substitute.
I say it's great for collectors becoz there are few points of articulation so it looks more like a statue than a toy.

Only cons is that the botton half of flash is a slightly different red than from the top. This is no noticeable from a distance though.

Morphing the Justice League !
WOW ! 10" of the Flash. These large Justice League figures are great for both the collector and for younger kids who can appreciate more figure to hold onto. As with all the Mattel DC Superhero figures released this year I cannot emphasize enough that all the figures need more articulation ! We know it can be done (see the Marvel Legends series figures). Honestly, at the price points these figures are at we as consumers are justified in expecting the much needed articulation. The figures are well done....Please give us figures which can be played with in the positions they are depicted in when they are in action !

FLASH!!!
This toy is so cool that kids should use it as a collectors item. ... Read more

Batman 12" figure...WOW!!
This figure is simply beautiful. It looks great sitting on a shelf and it's a great toy for young Batman fans to play with. The only way they could make this toy better is to have additional characters from the world of Batman to go along with it. Superman would look great in this form. And, of course, you need some villians. Joker, Riddler, Two Face, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze! They all would be perfect! However, it's only Batman who comes in the 12" size for now, so you'll have to use your imagination. One drawback for this figure is when he bends his leg at the hip, it causes the pockets in his utility belt to open when you don't want them to. Other than that, there is NOTHING to complain about. Go ahead and buy five of them. Maybe the strong demand will persuade Mattel to continue this type of action figure.

This Darkknight is THE DARKKNIGHT!!
It is about time that someone comes out with an accurate depiction of Batman The Darkknight himself. This is not your fathers Batman!
This is the real Darkknight, and it shows just by looking at him.
This goes in line with any comic book fan, a good example of Frank Millers The Darkknight Returns, not as old of course, but never the less, this is the true depiction of what The Darkknight is all about! Here Here Mattel, I give a 4 1/2 star batarang rating on this one! (The utility pouches do not open as far as shown, and can be cracked, so be careful, don't force it). The batcape also doesn't spread out as shown,it's sewn to his costume above his shoulders, so it takes some creativity to get it to stay if you like the full batwing look. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Matt's Review
This toy is awesome. Some of the pieces come off but I still love it. My dad said it was better than my other toys. I got this toy because I got a good grade on my report card. I got to say, I love this toy.

4-0 out of 5 stars ''Batboat or Batjet?''
I HAVE A SIX YEAR OLD SON WHO IS COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH THE SHOW THE BATMAN.HE GETS UPBETWEEN 10 AND 11 EVERY SATURDAY TO WATCH THE SHOW.HE SAW THIS ONE EPISODE WHERE BATMAN IS CHASING JOKER,BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HES IN A BOAT(BATJET).AFTER MY SON HAD SEEN THE VEHICLE HE ASKED TO GO TO TOYSRUS. WHEN WE GOT THERE ALL WE SAW WAS THE BATMOBILE,BATCAVE,AND MOTORCYCLE.MY SON WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.BUT WHEN I WAS DOING MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WITH MY WIFE WE NOTICED IT ON A SHELF RIGHT NEXT TO THE BATMOBILE ALONG WITH SOME NEW FIGURES.I PICKED IT UP AND NOTICED IT SAID 3-IN-ONE BATJET.I FIGURED IT WAS A TYPO.WHEN MY SON RECIEVED IT ON CHRISTMAS DAY HE WAS VERY HAPPY.ALTHOUGH IT SAD BATJET ON THE PACKAGE HE STILL THINKS ITS A BATBOAT.IT ALSO BECOMES A CYCLE WHICH I THINK IS PRETTY COOL. I GIVE THIS PRODUCT A 4 OUT OF 5 BECAUSE MY SON ENJOYED IT AND SO DID I.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT WORTH THE PRICE PAID
My 6 year old son spent his own money on this toy (about $20).He played with it for an hour and then asked to return it.He said that it doesn't have 3 toys in one, which one is led to believe from the packaging. It should be labeled 2 in one, which would better reflect the packaging.

The wingtips fall off when snapping the motorcycle part into the flight part.It was difficult for my son to put the pieces together.

The noises are intermittent.I checked the batteries and it requires 3 of the A76 batteries (also used for hearing aids). These are very expensive.

The toy is so specific that one is required to buy the exact Batman to use it.

This was a very disappointing purchase. We do not recommend this toy.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, unattractive, annoying electronics
First off, corrections to the current description here on Amazon, this toy is NOT motorized, it only has electronic sounds. Also, the photos up now show a prototype with a few different details, the actual toy has a clear canopy with tech lines sculpted in and openings above the blue intakes, the small rear fins at the top are translucent, and the bat-symbols stick out a quarter inch since one is a button.

Now, as to the review: Once again I have been duped by packaging, just like this line's Batmobile before it, I bought the 3-in-1 Batjet in part because the box art made it look nifty, but the art is far cooler than the actual toy. The gimmick here is that the main jet comes apart into 2 other pieces, a motorcycle that is the main jet's cockpit, and the, um, "rest" of the jet, the empty jet hull - this last part puts the "3" in "3-in-1 Batjet" yet doesn't actually have a task of its own so it's really just 2-in-1 with a sizeable leftover part to set aside. The bike takes a little maneuvering to lock into the jet hull, a feat which might be too difficult for little hands, but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad.

This Batjet has futuristic but unattractive lines, it's too odd with its drop-down nose, narrow wings, and empty fan in the back; the removable motorcycle part while neat in theory is too shapeless and plain even with the techie bits near the bottom and large rear wheel. The underside of the jet has 3 small hidden wheels but is otherwise just as featureless as the interior of the empty jet hull. The motorcycle has a translucent tech bit on either side near the bottom reminiscent of the line's Batmobile, and the right side is the same except that you can attach a missile-launcher to the middle screw hole (this launcher and wide electro-blade missile seem very much like a half-baked afterthought). The small front wheel at the front of the bike is all plastic, but the larger rear wheel has a rubber tire; unfortunately the bike doesn't roll very nicely at all on any surface, and is very low-slung so it can't bank for turns.

Besides the separating gimmick, there's also an electronic feature that can get really annoying after a few seconds. The problem is that while in "try-me" packaged mode the button on the side of the bike sets off the 2 sound effects, in "play" mode the sound effects are driven by an overly-sensitive motion sensor so they go off constantly and won't shut up till you flip the switch, which is inaccessable when the bike is docked in the jet hull (the try-me button no longer does anything at all in regular play mode, it should have done SOMETHING here). Did I mention it's also a bit too loud? There's a switch on the bottom of the bike which is depressed when attached to the jet that lets it know to only make the jet sound, it goes off whenever it senses the slightest motion - which quickly becomes tiresome as it's a slow flyby sound which isn't all that exciting to hear repeating over and over. When removed from the jet, the bike makes a motorcycle revving sound which is cool at first but then just repeats the second half over and over unless absolutely still, it would have been a lot more fun even if this sound was constant while the toy was in motion rather than just sounding like someone hitting the clutch over and over and over and over, ad infinitum. And as if the motion sensor setting it off all the time wasn't enough, it has a second switch when you turn the rear wheel - thank goodness for the OFF switch.

Finally, what really makes me most displeased with the 3-in-1 Batjet is that the cockpit is too narrow to accomodate the arms of any of the 4 Batman figures I have from this line except Bruce Wayne, and only when he's not wearing his gauntlets! I should have known since none of the box photos show the toy holding a figure inside. Many of my earlier complaints might have been overlooked if not for this massive misstep, it totally undermines the toy (worse even than the Batmobile's similar problem).

My advice: save your money for something more fun and less annoying than this, it's like the designers released this one too early, far too many frustrations are had here. ... Read more

Editorial Review

We thought this was the coolest of the three Batman Deluxe Figures. Tech Armor Batman wears graphite colored armor adorned with a silvery green breast plate and shin guards. He's articulated at the forearms, wrists, waist, knees, legs, and neck. He's got an arsenal of weaponry including a laser cannon, claw arm, disc launcher and disc missile. The claw arm, which snaps tightly shut, is attached to a big mechanical-looking arm that branches from one of Batman's shoulders; you can also swap out the claw for the laser cannon. On the other side, the disc launcher clips on to his forearm, ready to fire a green disc-shaped missile with the Batman emblem cut out of it. He's got a stern look on his well-sculpted face, under the standard-issue bat mask with very pointy ears. His cape is cloth and hangs a little weakly off his back. As with the other two deluxe figures, we found the accessories a little hard to use; there are no instructions, and other than the pictures on the packaging, no guidance as how to use or attach the weaponry. --Megan Sullivan ... Dark Knight with all the trimmings.
This is another one of mattel's repaints and hence Batman variations. But unlike several of the other figures, this one actually works for me. It shows Batman as a futuristic knight with a bunch of techno accessories. The color scheme also works great. One downside about the accessories, as with all mattel figures ther doesn't seem to be any instructions on how to place them on the figure save for the picture on the back of the box. And since, this one has by far the most accessories it gets a little confusing for kids (some adults also). All in all, the good outweighs the confusing therefore it's a good buy. ... Read more

Kewl
Awesome paint job on batman. But the reason we're all buying this is for nightwing. Good sculpt, cool Billy clubs. Overall a very cool two pack. I rated the education 2 because you don't learn much from them. Action figures are supposed to be fun not educational. Still very good. A+

Coolest Nightwing Figure
In the beginning, Mattel looked as if they were going to just keep pumping out Hasbro type figures, with the early 2-pack series, and the Justice League figures.
Being a serious collector, I would buy them, anyway, but, I would not be happy.
After a phone call to Mattel, I was assured my complaints and suggestions would be taken into consideration.
Apparently they were, because then came the new Batman line; highly articulate and a great sculpt.
This particular set features the single best Nightwing figure ever. He looks cool, and has a fresh look to him.
Mattel has done very well with this series. This 2 pack would receive a score of 100%, except they re-released it in series 3.
That alone drops the score.
Bottom line:
Pro's: Best Nightwing sculpt ever. Nice set of accesories. Competively priced (...)
Cons: A second release in the 3rd wave with no alterations, is rediculous.
Final Score: 85. (100% for the first edition).

batman sucks nightwing is awesome
nightwing is a great toy and his outfit is cool I love the night sticks he makes the set worth bying. but batman is wearing a ninja type suit, it's really ugly the silver shines way to bright. mattel is doing a great job on these new batman toys I dont even play with toys really but these toys have been making me play with them but i also think that mattel should make toys like mr.freeze,two-face and clayface ect. I have every two pack batman and nightwing, batman and superman and batman and robin all I need now is batman and joker.

Nightwing Looks Cool But Batman Is A Fool
I too (like one of the other reviewers) have been on the hunt for Robin since these new 6" Batman toys have hit the stores...I think they must have made only 1 Boy Wonder because I haven't been able to find him anywhere...well that's not really true, I have found Robin on other web sites but I'm not willing to pay $50.00 dollars for him...SOOOOOOOO because my son has the new Batmoblie (yes it is the best one made to date...even if it looks a little "hollow" when you take the side car away from the main body) I bought this double pack so Nightwing could ride along with Batman in the side car...This Batman figure however has landed at the bottom of his toy box because even my 5 year old knows that Batman would never leave the Batcave dressed like that! Buy it for Nightwing and grab the double pack Superman-Batman for the real look of the World's Finest.

Batman and Nightwing
This two pack is a nice alternative to the Batman/Superman 2-pack by Mattel, but not near as cool. Nightwing is the only reason for buying this item. Mattel is obviously as stupid as Hasbro was in making a bunch of other Batman figures that nobody really wants and they end up in the markdown pile of the toy stores. Mattel has gone off and put Batman in other uniforms to accomedate his crime-fighting environment. Although no one has really ever seen Batman in anything other than his usual uniform. And, if they did, who cares. So, instead of making more of the characters that people want--like Robin, Joker, or Mr. Freeze--they give us this kind of stuff. This item is a great opportunity to own Nightwing with two nightsticks for weapons. As for the Batman figure in this set, all I can say is this: At least they didn't decide to color his uniform orange. ... Read more

Could have been better.
The figurines look OK. Even the strangely-colored Batman seems so work. I do hate the absence of the stand, however. The toys would not stand on their own, and, because of the way the joints are made, they cannot be sat down either. ... Read more
