5-0 out of 5 stars Fits all sizes 1.5-5 years
This review is written to explain how the adjustable frame works to the people who say their kids don't fit right on the trike. The frame of this trike is fully adjustable with a turn knob so that the distance from the seat to the pedals works for each individual child's size. Other trikes are on a one size fits all standard which doesn't work very long with the way kids grow! It's also great that you can adjust these for your child to grow with the Trike, because Kettler trikes are guaranteed to last as long as your child can ride it!! Read the instructions people!

5-0 out of 5 stars great ride
What a great looking tricycle. My son is two and this is his second trike. We bought the Radio Flyer first and that was a big mistake. It was very dangerous the way the handle bar swung 360 degrees and it tilted over as a result. The kettler is very safe and stable. I also like that my son can use till he's five years old.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 2-yr old daughter LOVES this!
We were concerned about getter her a trike because she is very small for her age. But, when we adjusted this trike to it's smallest size, she can sit all the way back AND reach the pedals! She's not quite strong enough to pedal on her own, but she keeps her feet on the pedals while I push her (with the optional push bar). She loves the dump-bucket on the back and carries many toys around in it. The optional push bar was difficult to install (because the dump-bucket is in the way) but was well worth the time. I can easily push her around the neighborhood. The trike itself was very easy to put together.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great size flexibility plus stability with wider rear base
Our 18-month-old daughter loves this tricycle. Although, she is not quite sitting all the way back in the seat, adjusting the frame allowed her to have her feet comfortably on the pedals. After speaking with friends whose children outgrew their first tricycles in less than a year, this is a great choice because the seat and frame adjustments will allow our daughter to use it for at least a year. Plus, the bucket in back is super-handy when we go to the Farmer's Market or take toys along on the ride!

2-0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous, but...
The grandparents bought this durable but expensive trike when our son was 2. Sure it rides and pushes smoothly, is sturdy and can tolerate the elements, BUT there's something drastically wrong with the sizing- especially the distance from the seat to the pedals. He has found it very hard to ride (or even be pushed in) until recently and he's nearly 4. A small child must be able to sit snugly back in the seat and easily reach and push the pedals or he will lose interest-- and confidence-- fast. A friend bought the same trike and concurred there was just something wrong about how her daughter fits on it, though she has no trouble riding the more compact tricycles at school with no assistance. Maybe the manufacturer's mistake is in recommending it for toddlers. ... Read more

Great Toy!
When my child received this as a present for her 1 year birthday I thought it looked very cheap and that she wouldn't even bother playing with it. Well a year and half later she is still playing with it! She LOVES it and she doesn't play with toys hardly at all. She still rides it around and stores things under the seat. While there are other riders out there (and we have a different one from V-Tech that cost $50.00 that both kids completely ignore) I think she likes this one because it is so light and easy for her to ride and push. I would highly reccommend it. We are getting another one or my 9 month old son because our 2 year old isn't ready to give it up yet.

5-0 out of 5 stars CHEAP & FUN
This is a nice gift to give to a child who is turning one! The storage is amazingly fun for them! My son stores everything (socks, cell phone, shoes, toys, etc) - we ask him "what's inside your car" - he opens it up and tells you "phone, toys, etc". It does the job for little boys.

5-0 out of 5 stars OK, but there are better push/ride ons
My 1-year-old inherited this from relatives along with four other similar push/ride on toys. He chooses this one as a distant second to the Little Tikes push/ride on toy.

Pros:
1) Cute.
2) He likes the carrying compartment.
3) Handle is at the right height for pushing.

Cons:
1) Steerable wheels are no good when pushing. It keeps suddenly turning in random directions.
2) From bumper is low the ground and gets caught on grass when using it on the lawn.
3) There are some relatively rough edges on the plastic that can cause scratches.

Perhaps when he gets older he'll like the steering better, but for now, this one is used mainly as the "victim" car that he crashes his other one in to.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best for the money!
Let me begin by saying this is one of the best ride on toys out there - especially for the money. We have (had) both this truck and the Fisher Price riding toy (the one that is like a little four wheel push bicycle). Needless to say, the Fisher Price was just donated. Neither of my kids enjoyed that thing, they kept hitting the front wheels with their front feet and it barely rolled let alone coasted. We got the rescue rider when my daughter turned 2. As soon as she got the hang of it, she rode it and pushed it everywhere. As she got older, she became a sort of Mario Andretti of the riding truck world. And even as tall as my 5 year old daughter has become (48+"), she still rides that thing. She LOVES it! It is definitely one of those toys that will stay with us forever!

As far as durability, it only looks well used. Nothing is broken. However, if you need something, the company that makes the truck is quite helpful. I tore the front window when I was putting it on. I wrote to the company and they quickly sent me a new sticker.

5-0 out of 5 stars Most long-lasting toy ever!
My parents bought this for my oldest when he was 1 year old. My youngest is now 3 and still rides it. Every child that has been in my house has loved it. So for 5 years it has been rolling inside and outside our house. The phone is a hoot, and it just keeps going! Great for learning to walk and run as a push behind, and then for riding. You can't go wrong with this. ... Read more

not for young children
This was a shower gift for my husband. We were really excited, but were unable to use it until months after our son was born. The angle of the seat seemed unsafe for lack of head support. Had the seat been more reclined, I would recommend it for younger children. My four-year-old cousin enjoys it. Unfortuneately, we are shopping around for a model with more storage and angled head support for our son and baby on the way.

Bad Wheel Bearings!!!
After one year of light use both bearings are broken. I didnt mind the heavy weight because the price was half that of the upper end trailers, but the quality problem is unacceptable. I cannot find replacement wheels or bearings as mentioned by another reviewer who found the same problem.

Just bought it and I love it
My wife and I just bought this trailer and we love it. It's easy to assemble and easy to hookup to the bike. My kids seem to really enjoy riding around in it while we get our exercise.

How Fast?
I brought my daughter to see this trailer in the Supergo store. She seemed to like it, and I planed on buying it. Unfortunately on the floor of the trailer it says, "Don't exceed 10 mph!" What? Who rides this under 10 mph? I dug deeper in the owners manual and read, "Don't exceed 20 mph". Which is it Bell? Unfortunately I couldn't buy it, because I would always wonder, am I going too fast?

bearing troubles
i was really exited when i first got the trailer, it meant getting into shape faster after my son was born... i had a jogger but it wasnt low enough impact for me.... i purchased my with a discount for it being the floor model.... after having it for around four months, with infrequent use, i've discovered that the left bearing in the wheel is busted and coming apart. the biggest problem i have i trying to get it repaired.... any suggestions?... i've tried locating bell manufactures but only come up with bike helmets....it can be great fun even if a little bulky....but i found mine in poor shape and don't know what to do to rectify my poblems ... Editorial Review

The Cozy Cruiser isn't the Cadillac of kiddie strollers, to be sure, but it certainly qualifies for Saturn status. This safe, reliable, well-designed stroller can either trail along behind a bicycle or be pushed ahead by steadily pounding feet. The 3-foot-long, 2-foot-wide jogger features a durable nylon-mesh sling-style seat that's big enough for one strapping tyke (or two tiny ones). A five-point, clip-and-hook harness system keeps occupants safely inside the craft at all times. They won't feel trapped, though, thanks to large side windows and a mesh "windshield" with a thoughtful roll-down cover to fend off the elements. In jogger mode, a foam-padded handlebar lets you do the pushing, while a James Bond-style hideaway wheel pops out in front. The jogger converts into a trailer in a snap, leaving no leftover parts, since the front wheel tucks under and the handlebar snaps down behind. The whole affair collapses easily for transport in the trunk of a car.--Paul Hughes ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars love it!
I absolutely love this product. I purchased it last week for my 2 year old twin boys. I've taken them bike riding every night since! The product is sturdy and comfortable and pulls along effortlessly. I do not find a problem with lumps in the tires as some of your other reviewers claim, however, I did take the advice in the directions, and did not over inflate them. I love it as a bike trailer, but must admit, I have not used it as a jogging stroller yet, so I can't comment on that.

2-0 out of 5 stars What were they thinking?
We have eleven month old twins and a 8 and a 7 year old. Always love to ride bikes as a family. Bought this item because of price and product description. Husband loves to jog with older kids. Wanted something which would serve both activities. Big Mistake. Trailer is a nightmare to hook-up to bike. Connection is not secure. Rear wheels do not move to go around corners. Had to ride in the street in order to make a wide turn. Not safe. Directions were very difficult to understand for assembly. Bike pedals were always scraping against the connection. I was not very comfortable with my children in the trailer. I was always afraid the trailer would tip over. Returned item to the store and exchanged for a better item. Had store assemble new item and demonstrate connection. We now have a Burley Trailer and we love it. More expensive but more durable and safe. With the first trailer, we got what we paid for. I wonder if the manufacturer even tested this trailer to check for problems? What were they thinking?

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun ... but a pain!
Our daughter loves her Cozy Cruiser, which we use as a trailer but not as a jogging stroller ... fortunately, however, she wasn't around for the two hours it took her pitiful parents to put this thing together! The instructions are solely picture-based and are extremely vague - we had some pieces in and out 4 or more times. The mechanism which connects the trailer to the bike is poorly designed - you could easily use three people just to attach the bike to the trailer - one to support the bike, one to support the trailer bar and one to hook the connector to the bike - but usually there's only one parent available during the day so you have to fumble around trying to attach it. We're also a little concerned with the durability of the connection. Obviously the designers thought you'd only hook it up once, then leave it in your garage ... well, we live in a townhouse with no garage and a small patio so the bike & trailer have to come inside every night and be disconnected ... not too convenient. Once assembled, though, a great product which allows parent and child a lot of fun and freedom.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great product that adds to your workout!
This is a really great product. It's extremly durable, like most Little Tykes products. Using it as a trailer was easy. It's easy to switch from trailer to stroller. Folded it does not take up much space. The only problem I found with it is the way it handles as a stroller. As long as you are going straight there's not much effort in pushing it. Taking turns is a bit difficult.

2-0 out of 5 stars My 1st jogger stroller
I bought this jogger about 1 1/2 years ago. I have two children 11 months apart and I wanted something that didn't cost a lot that I could run/walk with and pull with my bike if I wanted. It is hard to run with since it does pull to the left. Ane yes, you do have to pop a wheelie when going around turns, but I just figured I'd build up muscles that way. My kids love the stroller and now they are 3 and 4 years old and just starting to outgrow it a little. The tires don't inflate well and there are big lumps in each one when fully inflated so the stroller doesn't roll smoothly. It takes a lot of time to put together. It is very sturdy but not compact. Unless you have a huge trunk in your car or a van or something like that, then it is pretty much impossible to take with you. I was not very happy with the trailer attachment. It didn't clamp down well on the bike so it came lose and was a pain to pull. It would slide down and as my pedal came up it would hit the attachment. I only pulled it 2 times. But in all, for the money...it works for me. I still use it now. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Perfect for baby’s first ride-on toy, this plush pony has soft fur and a smooth plastic base and handles, leaving no parts that an unsteady toddler can get hurt on. The horse sits on a rocker for in-place riding and also has wheels that flip down for riders who want to hit the trail. For additional delight, this horse makes sound and wiggles his nose whenever his ears are squeezed. A squeeze to the left ear starts up a happy riding song, while a pinch to the right ear causes the horse to whinney or speak one of two different greetings. The electronic sound runs on two AA batteries, which are safely hidden in a zippered compartment in the horse’s belly. The horse comes with a riding hat that is a better fit for adults than toddlers. It comes unassembled but is easy to put together using the included instructions. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

Poney and Friend
I bought this for my son's first birthday. He Just loves his poney. He hugged it the minute I took it out of the box. He touches its mouth when it talks and he loves to climb on it and rock. He learned how to make it sing immediately and now he always gets on the poney and presses the ear to make it sing and he rocks happily. Sometimes if I start singing the poney song, he'll walk over to it and hop on and start rocking. It is a big, big hit! It took me a while to get the horse, since it kept selling out, but it was worth the wait.

Very Cute!
We bought this horse for our sons 1st birthday and are a little disappointed that he seems afraid when we put him on it. I think it may be due to the fact that he is not yet walking and can't climb on or off by himself yet. He does however love the music it plays. I think when he gets a little older and more coordinated he will love this. The only thing that is a little misleading is the "cowboy" hat that comes with it. It is a hard red plastic hat that looks like more like a cross between a hardhat and a baseball cap. I guess because they put a sticker of a cowboy on the front they can get away with calling it a cowboy hat. That wouldn't be so bad if the hat weren't so big that it only fits an adult sized head. Basically the hat is useless, but the horse is a cute gift! Definitely recommended.

Great 1st Birthday Gift
My son received this as a gift from my parents for his first birthday. It easily converts from the rocking horse to the ride-on horse. He wasn't able to reach the floor but still loved to be pushed in our living room and up and down the hallway. This ride is the perfect size for a little one, not overwhelmingly large. It rolls easily front and backwards, so that when he was able to touch the ground he could push himself. The only thing that has aggravated me is the motor in the mouth of the horse makes a grinding noise. My son loves the son the songs and he is able to push and play the music independently.

Excellent riding toy
Our daughter received this as a Christmas gift last year (at the time she was 7 months old and needed help sitting on it by herself). She loves the cute song and snort/whinies that come from it when she squeezes the ears. Now that she is 18 months, she enjoys it more...even though her feet still cannot reach the ground. Definitely a great toy for pictures.
Also like the fact that the wheels fold upwards to change the pony into a rocker. Soft and cuddly...a great addition to anyone's toy collection.

A WONDERFUL TOY
MY ROCKING HORSE IS A WONDERFUL TOY. IT CAN BE USED AS A ROCKING HORSE OR A RIDING HORSE. MY DAUGHTER HAS A LOT OF FUN PUSHING THE EARS AND MAKING IT TALK, OR SING. SHE HAS ALSO HAD PROFESSIONAL PICTURES TAKEN ON IT AND THEY ARE SOO CUTE. ... Read more

Wow, great wagon for great price
This is a great wagon. My daughter loves to be pulled around in it. I didn't give 5 stars for educational value because it is a WAGON. But she learned from it how to push and pull, and also how to climb in and out on her own... so I had to give it that. The Storage Drawer / Cooler built in the underside is wonderful. When we go to Hersheypark the drawer doubles as the diaper bag so we don't have to carry the bag around with us. Also with the handle folding underneath it makes it very easy to put into the back of my Escape or the trunk of my wife's Accord. The drawer has a little catch molded into it so little fingers can't open it that easily. The Dura-ride tires are quiet for a wagon. Assembly was very easy...I had it together in about 10 mins (just had to put on handle and tires). (...) ... Read more
