Could not be better
When my husband and I discovered we were expecting, a travel system was one of the first items on our list. We read a thousand reviews, consulted our "Baby Bargains" book (highly recommended) and went to Babies R Us to try them out in person.
We finally chose the Metrolite in Marta. Our son is now 4 months old and we've more than gotten our money's worth already. This stroller system is truly awesome.

*The car seat is SAFE and very user-friendly. LOVE the release strap.

*Assembly was as simple as could be. I am confident we put it together correctly (very important for my peace of mind)
*The stroller is oh-so-light, but very sturdy too.
*Features like fully reclining seat, accessible basket, adjustable handle and even cup holders make this system a joy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Love this carseat/stroller system!
My husband and I did a lot of research on strollers before our purchase- we looked at online and magazine reviews, and talked to a lot of parents. We made many trips to BabiesRUs to test out different models. We were looking for something lightweight and easy to carry (I am a small person, and our car is also compact), as well as something that had colors that were not too "baby-ish". After all of our research, we bought this Metrolite (...). This is a great carseat/stroller system for many reasons:
-The stroller was easy to assemble, my sister and I were able to do it without asking for help from my husband!
-Stroller collapses down to a compact size, small enough to fit in the trunk of my compact sedan. It is also lightweight, easy to carry and maneuver.
-The basket underneath the seat has a latch which makes it accessible even when the seat is fully reclined in the lying down position.
-The stroller handle is adjustable to 3 different angles to accomodate people of different heights.
-The stroller seat-back adjusts to many different angled positions, unlike some other strollers which only allow for 2 or 3 different positions.
-The carseat is easy to remove from base and install into the stroller.
-Both carseat and stroller are made out of a soft, comfortable material. The colors are modern and up to date, and would work for a boy or a girl.

We have yet to find any downfalls of this product. I give it 5 stars.

Big Mama
When we first started looking at travel systems we fell in love with the QuatroTour travel system. It is built solid and had all the features we wanted. However, it is way too heavy for me to lift into the trunk many times a day, and I had to fiddle with it to fit it in the trunk of my compact car, my husband didn't mind that too much with all his muscles. These two criteria however made me want to keep looking. We looked at other alternatives for sometime until the Babies'R'us store got this new Metrolight model in. It was perfect, about ten pounds lighter and fits easily into my trunk with all the features we wanted. And it seems sturdier than the previous Metrolight model. The colors, black and purple, are very nice and easy on the eye. I still haven't had my baby yet, but finding a stroller and car-seat that matches all our needs is a big relief for us. So from a pre-baby point of view this travel system gets a five star rating from us.

Baby enthusiast
We just got this and love it. It is just like the other Metrolite versions. The one difference is the way the seat reclines. It has a rope you pull to diffrent settings. Love it easy to use and more positions. It is black and purple.(the purple is a soft fabric)I had the metrolite in colby and returned it for this one because the colors aren't so busy as the other versions.

I'ts so wonderful!
Well, finally after having 3 kidos, I broke down and bought one of these treasures. Boy, I sure wish I had from the very beginning! My other kids liked my other carrier my friend had made for me, so I already knew that this little guy would probably like a carrier too. This one is far less bulky, easier to get him in & out of, cuter, and supports his body better. This price at Amazon right now...is the best that I found when I started looking into buying one last week...I just picked mine up at the P. O. a few hours ago & my li'l one has already fallen asleep in it twice. In fact he's sleeping in it now while I'm typing this. I also just had to discipline my almost 2 year old and I didn't have to put down my baby, I was able to jump up as soon as I needed to. I can't wait to go sew after I cook dinner, hehe. It's great! If you think you'll have more kids, this would probably be a good investment for you, even if your pocket book is tight.

Wonderful product, but I wouldn't buy it again.
This carrier is easy to use, comfortable, and a cinch to adjust, but I suspect that all carriers are eventually going to put a strain on the wearer's back. So a word to the wise: really consider how you'll use a soft carrier before you invest in one. We have found that transporting our son in a stroller is usually prefferable to using the carrier since neither of us is keen on lugging around another 17 pounds for very long. This should probably be a "wait and see if you need it" item. (Or buy it used.) Also, if you use a carrier, be sure to monitor your baby's temperature. We found that our son got overly warm very quickly when snuggled so close to us.

That said, we did use this product when our son was tiny and wasn't happy unless he was held, but that only happened a few times. I also used it when traveling by airplane. Since we had quick layovers, it was easier to just strap on the baby and go rather than fuss with a stroller. And I felt more secure, knowing exactly where he was at all times. My son seems to be comfortable in the carrier and would always fall asleep when he was a newborn, but I bet we've used it less than a dozen times.

**As a side note for those of you looking at the size requirements, I'll tell you that I am a size 20W, and my husband is 6'6" and 275lbs, and the carrier fits us both perfectly with plenty of room to spare.

Could not live without!
My sister bought this for me after I had my second child, and I will say that it is the best baby gift I have ever recieved! I am not sure how I lived without the Bjorn with my first child. When I go shopping, I put my 9 month old daughter in it (She is 19 lbs. and still fits great, it does make my back a little sore, but thats expected) and my 4 year old in the shopping cart and they visit the whole time. Not to mention, my 9 month old LOVES to be in it. She even takes a cat nap while I shop. She didn't like it at first, so we waited until she was 3 months old to put her in it and plus we kept her facing out instead of her facing me. She was more comfortable that way. Also, I do not think this would be too convenient cleaning house with, just shopping or going for a stroll. LOVE IT and HIGHLY recommend it.

Great baby carrier!
My son loves being carried in the baby bjorn. In fact, he gets so excited when he recognizes my husband or I strapping the baby bjorn on. He could be fussy, but we just put him in the carrier, and all is good in the world. We even do housework with him! It's nice to know that there's a product out there that is safe and comfortable for my baby. It may sound a little pricy, but it's worth every cent knowing that my son likes it, and keeps him quiet!

Too pricey for the limited use
We live in a city, and I bought this thinking it would be more convenient when using public transportation. We only started using it when my daughter was around 8 weeks due to the height restrictions. Initially it was nice having baby so close to me, and having the hands free convenience. However, at 5 months and weighing 18lbs, it has become a back breaking task carrying my little one around. Both my husband and I find using this more than an hour leaves our backs and shoulders in an ache, and we're not tiny people! I doubt I'll use this past 6 months. Great purchase for mommies who want to be organized
When I registered for this pack and play, I did not think about any other feature except for the diaper stacker, wipe holder, and baskets attached to the changing table portion of this product. Recently I traveled out of state with my four month old and my choices were to sleep with her or take the playpen to use as a crib. This thing packs up and travels beautifully. I use it primarily as a changing station on the main floor of our house, but I now love the ease in which I can take it with me. It is worth its weight in gold for the convenience it provides for me. I have never used the bassinet function as I have always had my daughter sleep in her crib, but I have used the heck out of the changing table. She is now 5 months old and 13 pounds, so we are coming to the end of the changing table, but my step sons play baseball and it will be perfect to haul to the ball park!

I am SO glad we got this!!! Excellent!
We chose to get this Pack N Play in the Colby print instead of getting a bassinet or cradle or Arms Reach Cosleeper for the baby to sleep in in our bedroom for a few months. While bassinets, and the Cosleeper are good products, we figured that this would be a much more versatile option. We travel to grandma's for the weekend and this is good to take along. The baby is cozy to sleep in the bassinet feature of the PackNPlay- we keep this in our bedroom beside the bed and LOVE it.

The changing station is so convenient that I change my baby there most of the time instead of on her real changing table. I am sure this will be great to take naps in as well when the baby gets too big for the bassinet feature. Also, the Colby print makes for a really nice looking item- it looks great.

I am VERY happy with the quality and usefulness of this item and I highly recommend this *instead* of using a bassinet or cradle, if you want something for the baby to sleep in in your bedroom for the first few months. This is very sturdy and safe and we have never had any problems with it, and have enjoyed using it. The baby loves it- and again the changing station is VERY handy especially for those late night diaper changes, and it is a plus that it has compartments to keep wipes and other items in. This is excellent for travel as it folds up and came with a carrying bag. Soooo convenient, I highly recommend. I shopped around and liked this much better than other brands.

saved us & our baby
Our baby came 2 weeks early and the bassinet we were planning to use was still en route to our home. My husband ran out to get something for our baby to sleep in and came home with this. It is perfect! The nightlight & diaper station have saved us from crashing and fumbling through late night events. It also keeps everything in our bedroom, so changing and checks go quickly and quietly.

We love this play yard! It was a great investment. My baby loves the vibration and the nature sounds. I love the bassinet, the changing table and diaper storage. We use this daily for naps. I love that the bassinet is the same size as the play yard. It gives baby lots of room to stretch and move. We do about 98% of our diaper changes on the changing table!

Too bad the bassinet only goes up to 15 pounds. My 2 1/2 month old will probably be too heavy for it within the next week. I could also live without the canopy. They toys do not grab baby's attention. I used my Link A Doos and attached more interesting toys to the canopy.

You will not regret investing in this play yard. It has everything you will want or need!

A fabulous toy!
I bought this gym for my baby when she was only two months old. Now, at 5 months, her father and I can actually eat dinner at the SAME TIME!! I can put her in it while I wash bottles, make my own lunch, or throw in a load of laundry and she's happy. She's figuring out how to get the toys off now and it can keep her happy for an hour or more. She loves the music and has figured out that she can kick the bar and activate the star on "Motion" setting. This is WELL worth the money anyone would pay for it.

my baby LOVES this
My 2 month old absolutely loves this gym. He is captivated by the flashing lights on the star. He keeps the music going by kicking the gym. He's also beginning to reach for the other hanging objects and enjoys looking at himself in the mirror. The product is great...it gives mommy a little time to herself while baby is happily entertained.

Worth the Money
Our baby loves to kick the blue rattle with his feet, which makes the lights light up and the music play. He laughs so loud! He has learned cause and effect with this toy even at less than a month old! Also, the green pillow is great for 'tummy time'. This activity gym is worth the money!

3 Cheers for Baby Einstein!
We bought the Baby Einstein Discovery and Play Gym for my nephew about 2 months ago and it is wonderful! He loves to lay on the mat "talking" to the star, watching the lights, and listening to the music that he has grown fond of from the DVD's! Next to being held, this is my nephew's favorite thing to do. The gym goes with us everytime we go out of town! Thanks Baby Einstein!

Absolutely love it!!!
I purchased this system when my daughter turned eight months old because we had too many problems with our other one (Graco's Cirrus Travel System). I love this system and should have just gone with it in the first place. Ready? here's my list... 1.)takes up hardly any trunk space, 2.) collapses SO easily, 3.) easy to carry when folded, 4.) handle bar not in way of mom's drink, 5.) great compartments for mom AND baby (LOVE molded tray better than just the flat one), 6.) easy to steer, 7.) front wheels can lock into forward and back position only (great for the beach!), 8.) FOUR recline positions -- wow!, 9.) fantastic "cradle feature" so new babies can use it without the infant carrier...and even more!! I can't say enough about this. I love it.

Couldn't be happier overall
My husband and I received this travel system as a gift at our baby shower. We are so pleased with what this stroller/car seat combo has to offer. I love that you can stear it using one hand; this makes it really easy getting through doorways when you have to keep the door open with your other hand (like at the malls). My son seems very content, and my husband loves to be the "driver" because it doesn't look to frilly. Overall we are very happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

Love it!
We looked at all types of strollers (even the Peg Prego)...and finally decided on this one and we love it!
1-The stroller is lightweight, easy to close (one hand).
2-It folds in half so that the seat does not get wet if it's raining.
3-When it folds, the childs tray doesn't scrape on the ground, the wheels are still on the ground.
4-There is a locking piece on it so it doesn't open up when you pick it up.
5-The basket drops down so you can get things out or in without waking up the baby in the full recline position.
6-The stroller hood has a plastic window.
7-The car seat hood and stroller hood can be moved in any position depending on the direction of the wind or sun.
8-The handle on the car seat has a rubber grip on it which is much easier to hold.
9-The stroller rides smoothly.

Nice, but really only for newborns or very small babies?
I have to say, just looking at the Baby Papasan makes you feel cozy and I couldn't wait to get one in my house. My son spent most of his time (even sleeping) in his bouncy seat and we thought that the Papasan would be more comfortable and secure for him for the long stretches he spent in it. He is not an off-the-charts baby in height or weight but at only 2 months (when I bought this) his legs were already hanging over the bottom edges by a couple of inches - it seems like the placement of the safety belt and the pitch of the seat are off. I didn't feel comfortable having him in it for more than a few weeks after I bought it (HE didn't even look comfortable)and Fisher Price says the weight limit is 25 lbs!! I would have taken it back had I not already thrown out the box.

So far, so good
So far, this chair has been the only thing to soothe my son. He was a 4 lb. preemie and has been home for a month. Since then he has developed reflux and has been gassy, refusing to sleep in his cradle or crib. He would only sleep in his car seat but looked slumped and uncomfortable surrounded by buckles. This seat nestles him in and he looks so comfortable. He loves the vibrating--it puts him right out! In addition, the fabric part comes off easily and holds up well in the wash. If you ask me, $50 is a small price to pay to get your baby to sleep peacefully and to get some rest yourself. But do understand, this does not replace a bouncy seat as it does not bounce.

Cuddly but not fun
I received this for a shower gift. It is so cute, soft, and cuddly, and I had it all set up before my first son's birth. Every thing works just perfectly, and it was a breeze to set up. However, my son has enjoyed the Fisher Price Aquarium Bouncy Seat much more. Maybe my son just loves looking at the fish swim in front of him and the ability to make his seat bounce. This seat has just been a little too "calm" for my active baby!

Two Thumbs Up...
I originally had seen the papasan on the Target website, and was impressed by the looks of comfort, design, and the high remarks listed. I immediately decided to add it to my registry. Thank goodness I rec'vd this as a gift...my baby just loves it! When it is just myself at home and feeding time, she tends to get a bit cranky. I do not and will not have her in my arms while I am by a hot stove, so I will place her in the papasan while I make her bottle because it tends to soothe her until her formula is ready. She is less fussy, and you can immediately tell that with the combination of the ever-so-soft seating and vibrations, it is absolute heaven to her. I would recommend this item to anyone, but with like everything, every baby is unique and will take to products and toys differently.

Baby looks uncomfortable!
After reading the reviews, I registered for both the papasan and the kick and play. My son was a preemie, and at 4 1/2 lbs., I had expected this seat to be great based on the reviews. Unfortunately, he did not seem to care for this seat AT ALL. His head was pushed forward by the head rest, and there was no way to remove it or push it up, out of the way. I tried to put him in the seat off and on for over 3 months, as he grew to over 12 lbs. At no point did he tolerate the seat for more than 10 minutes. The music was a bit loud, the vibration seemed okay, but he had nothing else to entertain him and looked completely uncomfortable. The blanket was in the way and the bunny just blended in to the fabric, so I don't think he could even see it. He has enjoyed his kick and play to no end. My little one goes to sleep everynight w/ this toy
We really like it. I had the older one for my 6 year old. Now my 7 month has had this one for 6 months, and has listened to it everynight before bed. He has now learned how to turn it on and off himself. I would highly recommend this toy.

Second baby still loves it
I love this aquarium. We first had the older version of it with my first son (broke it when he got older). Then we got this one for my now 6 month old. I change his dipes in the crib sometimes or let him play there and I just turn it on for him to watch. He loves it. I LIKE that it can be loud because when I lay him down for a nap, I want it to drown out the noise in the background... like of my almost 3 year old racing through the house. <br /> <br /> It definitely keeps him entertained and even moreso as a newborn.

ok toy
This is just an ok toy. My 9 month old son likes it ok but it not one of his favorites. The motor is loud and it's kind of creepy music. I would recommend getting a different toy to soothe your little one back to sleep. My child just mainly likes to play with it a few minutes or so.

Not quite what I expected
The ocean waves sound really soothes my son to sleep, but I have to keep the volume turned down all the way. I can't believe how loud the volume is for a nightime toy. Also, I can't turn the bubbles on because the motor is so loud if it doesn't keep the baby awake, it keeps me awake over the monitor. The bubbles are the major reason I bought it, so I'm not exactly thrilled with it. I just feel like there was probably something else out there we both would have liked better.

Helps her learn to go back to sleep on her own
I bought this for my daughter when she was just 1 month old, she is now almost two and she still loves it. You can adjust the how low it hangs down in the crib so I have never had a prblem with her head getting hurt. She loves to push it by herself, and when she wakes up in the middle of the night she just sits up and pushes the button and goes back to sleep. The Bubbles are a bit to loud to use when she is older though and the music is also a bit loud for a crib toy. But the running water noise saved us when she was a baby. ... Read more

1. Too big to use for a newborn so the cost savings on a three-in-one really isn't there. In addition, you will want to carry your infant into the house/restaurant/store in the infant carrier seat and you cannot do this with the EB seat.
2. The straps are a pain. They twist and you have to have them attached to each other like a puzzle in order to place it in the buckle.
3. The infant head rest is impossible to remove. We actually wanted to leave it in but because of where the shoulder straps were required to be, the head rest was in the wrong place. Therefore we tried to remove it (not in the book, help line not open on weekends or evenings). We went to Babies R Us to ask them how and they just ripped it out. I highly doubt we could replace it.
4. The seat does not recline enough. I have read several reviews suggesting that you use a pool noodle or a towel to recline appropriately. Modifying a car seat does detract from the safety of the seat (regardless of what the Babies R Us seat inspector said). We had a police officer who had taken several car seat installation courses and he suggested that seats should never be modified.
I wouldn't recommend this seat as it is not easy to use and is too expensive for what you get.

great long lasting seat
We purchased this car seat for our evergrowing 4 month old and loved it. I just wanted to write a review for this product because my son is now 2 and still loves it. First of all we had it installed by the local fire dept. So we could see how it was properly installed. I would recommed this because they know about different carseats and cars and this also takes care of the frustration of trying to do it yourself. (Get the to professional's help!!!) Some people like myself are just not handy so without hands on help I would have complained about installation also. The straps do twist, but the first time I washed it I just ironed them with a little starch and they are fine. The cover is time consuming to take off, but I would rather have it on tight and secure than to have it easily moving around, but easier to detach whenit needs washing. (That's just me.) I love this seat and believe it will last my son until he doesn't need a seat anymore. Great seat for for the price!!!

We're buying a second one like this
We purchased this seat in Jan '04 for my daughter (then 6 mos). We absolutely love it. We have had occasional tangling of the belts, but feel that the 5 pt harness is best and we just correct it when needed.

I have a Ford Escort (old) and have no problems with the size ... it fits in the car wonderfully .... same with our second vehicle (Dodge Ram Quad cab) .. the seat fits perfectly in it as well.

We are looking to purchase a second for the truck (it is a tad bit difficult for me to transfer in and out as I am short and we have a 4x4 truck). The price is worth it ....

Propping up unsafe?
I know everyone has pretty much complained about the head hanging when sleeping, and that you should just fix it with blankets and pool noodles, but isn't that unsafe? Aren't they made to be level? I've tried everything for my 9 month old son's head not to hang when he is sleeping, and nothing has worked. The base of his seat is level right now, and I have the seat inclined the furthest back. If I add towels or noodles, the base will no longer be level making it unsafe. Any suggestions? Am I wrong about being unlevel?

Great Car Seat
I wanted to wait until I had this car seat for at least 3 months before I wrote a review because I wanted to make sure I had all the facts. So here is what I have found out:

1. I had NO problems installing this seat into my truck. I have a Nissan Frontier crew cab and the back seat is very small, and my child eas less than 1 year when I bought it and it fit fine with the proper angles in the back middle. I did have to use a noodle to get the right position, but then I had to to that with the infant car seat too. I have not tried installing this with the LATCH system but without it was easy and its very secure.

2. I have not had major strap twisting issues yet. I had two minor issues that were inconveniences at best that took a minute to undo, but aside from that the straps seem sto be as good as those in other car seats I have used.

3. The seat is padded well, and my daughter LOVES it. She is safe and she is up higher so she can see out the windows which makes the ride a lot better.

If you are looking for a car seat for an infant or young child I think this is the best one for the money. I will be buying another for my husbands car in a few weeks and after looking at all the seats again today, this is the seat I will buy. Its a great price for a seat that is just awesome! ... Good seat doesn't always fit
This seat fit perfectly into one of our cars that has LATCH; in our 2001 Nissan Altima we could not fit this, or any other car seat, without use of a leveler. Be aware that the shape of the rear seat on your car can make as much of a difference.

There should be no other!
We just bought this seat for our 6 mo old son. It is WONDERFUL! We have a newer Corolla and the seat fits great. Our son was really starting to dislike his infant car seat, but this one he loves. He snuggles right in and it looks very comfy. The straps do not twist, there is velcro on the sides of the seat to attach the straps to, which makes getting him in and out of the seat much more simple.
