Great creative toy
My daughter got this for Christmas (at 21 months) and has played with it every day since. The blocks are bright colored and different sizes so are fun to look at and build with. They are also easy to handle so a toddler can build on their own. They clean up into their own bag, with a zipper that a toddler can open and close. My daughter uses them to build towers which she knocks over and to make rectangle shapes which she calls trucks and then pushes around. She also loves helping us build fancier things like planes and elephants. The biggest thing you can build with 100 blocks is a tower 36 inches tall, or a small "chair" just big enough for a toddler's bum. This has been enough for the first two months but she uses them so much we are thinking of getting another set so we can build big castles. Only negatives to this set: there are two little people that come with it, and a little "car" with two seats, but the two people can't fit on adjacent pegs so can't go into the car together or be beside each other in a castle.

Lots of fun and a good price
These are great blocks that are the same size as Duplos and fit together with them. If your kids want to build huge castles and towers, you can get a lot more Mega Bloks for less money than Duplos. Plus, Mega Bloks towers have a little sway to them so instead of snapping apart at the weakest point, they just bend a little--making little builders happier since their work is easier to rescue before it crumbles!

A hit on the first day!
We received this yesterday and my 11 month old daughter loved emptying these out. and I joined the blocks together and she took them apart. She also puts everything in her mouth and these are big enough to be safe. I can see her learning colors in the future by sorting these bright colored blocks and also using her imagination to build stuff when she is old enough. Surely a big hit on the first day. Great as first blocks set for your toddler
My daughter is 18 months old and she loves to play with blocks. She developed interest in bigger blocks that came with the activity table. She liked to create a tower with it. To elaborate more of her hand-eye co-ordination skills, I bought this 90 piece bucket for her. It is a perfect first blocks set for a toddler. The blocks are not too big like Mega blocks and not much small like Duplo blocks. This size is perfect for their tiny hands to work with. Plus I find the bucket has nice quantity of blocks, not too many to get tired of the mess and not too little so that the young ones get to explore enough.

Freedom to choose
These blocks were the LARGE DUPLO size blocks, which was not well-explained in the item description. Of course, I noted the age range but stupidly assumed that these were the same size as the regular lego blocks.

Anyway, my 4 year old got them for Christmas and she liked playing with them on Christmas day. However, my parents gave her a real Lego set the next day and she plays with it much more!

All in all: Great for the money. Lots of imaginative play. Very sturdy and easy to put together and take apart. Be aware these are large blocks great for smaller hands!

Endless play
Im a mother of 2 girls,1 and 3. My oldest girl recieved lego duplo blocks as a gift when she was 18 months and her, her sister and her 4 year old friend play with them EVERY day!
They love them so much that i bought 3 more buckets and a lego table! Of all the toys in the house (and there are lots of them) the lego's get used the most

Great 90 Piece Set
This is a large bucket has 90 pieces in it. There are lots of the standard shapes, including 57 squares, 13 rectangles, and 2 thin rectangles. A wonderful learning toy for toddlers, this LEGO set contains 75 oversized building blocks of various sizes and colors. THE BEST!
If we have to choose just one toy, this is it!!
My son has the blocks everywhere he goes (he's 23 months old), I mean everywhere. In the car, in the restaurants, in the house, he always has some blocks in his hands. He's loved to build blocks for almost an year. The best toy ever.
I also recommend the lego block table (I bought it in Kidsrus store). The table seems a little bit high for a 2 year old boy, so my son has to fold his legs when building blocks on it. But, worth to buy it:-)

Good basic
Bought this for my 2 year old who has access to lot of LEGOs at daycare but was asking for LEGOS at home. She loves it, lots of creative games with it, including bath toy, and I have rediscovered my childhood LEGO skills! Excellent basic starter kit. Only reservation for younger child these are medium size blocks, still be cautious on putting in mouth.

GREAT HAND CORDINATION LEARNING

A great set to add to your collection
I bought this small bucket to add to the large bucket so I could get another car to snap onto the two the larger set came with. My baby is 14-month's-old and loves her Mommy and Daddy to drive the 3 car train set all around her room. This is a good basic Lego set. Not too many small useless peices. She really likes it and is just learning how to snap them together herself. She is an expert, however, at taking them apart! It gives her great joy to rip apart the creations her parents build for her. She loves grabbing into the bucket and sorting the peices in little piles, then putting them back in the bucket. Perfect for a toddler!

Excellent
Not only is this toy fun for my 4 year old, but my 8 month old enjoys the drool factor (collects in the sprockets). A great learning experience - if it falls, try again! It has lasted 3 years and I will be sad to trade it in for the smaller version that so easily gets underfoot. Great bright colors with a variety of pictures on some of them for building ideas. Great puzzle/toy
My 2 1/2 year son received this toy from his grandmother. He loves it. He can put it back together himself and is very proud of himself when he does it. The only difficulties we have had is one of the screws came apart and had to be reglued and one of the screws is bent due to a knot in the wood and is difficult to screw in. We have only had the train a few weeks but it is holding up otherwise pretty well to a 2 1/2 and 16 month old. ... Read more

Well worth the money
I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 2 1/2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER LAST YEAR
IT IS DURABLE, HUGE STORAGE SPACE, SAFE CORNERS AND LID.
THE CHILDREN CAN LIFT THE LID THEMSELVES WITH EASE, BUT
IF YOUR LOOKING TO KEEP THE BOOKS ON THE SHELF AT THIS AGE
DON'T COUNT ON IT, I ONLY HAVE ONE SAFETY PRECAUTION AT THE AGE OF 1 TO 2 BE CAUTIOUS YOUR CHILD DOES NOT SIT ON THE EDGE. Step 2 does it again!!!
We received this toy box as a gift for our son when he was 1. I love the fact that it also has the book shelf and top shelf as well as the door feature to "hide" the toys. When our son was younger we would pick up his toys and close up playtime for the day - he knew it was almost bedtime when we would put the lid down. The book shelf has not held books yet as they pull them right down but we do store some of the more played with stuffed animals on these shelves. They sit in perfectly and are easy to find for our children. The opening for the toy box is low enough for our toddlers to get their own toys in and out. We have had this toybox for almost 2 years now and it still looks brand new. It has only been inside and the color has not faded. My 2 & 3 yr old have climb onto, banged into, thrown toys at, and much more and shows no wear & tear. A little bit pricier than the regular toy box but worth it for the extra features of shelves and closing lid that does not shut unless pulled shut by someone. No pinched fingers or trapping with this one! Another great buy/product from Step2

Best Toy Box
I purchased the pink lid version of this toy box for my daughter when she was a little over 1 year old. She is now turning 8 and we still use it for her toys and books. I highly recommend this toy box. I have two older daughters who went through numerous toy boxes in their day. This toy box has been through so much and still looks brand new. Bravo to the manufacturers for this one. By the way no smashed hands either.

Very Functional-Particularly for a One Year Old
This is a great toybox. My daughter ()is able to reach the books on the book shelf. Also, the door slides out of the way so it will never fall on her fingers. The top shelf is great for her puzzles because the pieces stay put. I highly recommend this storage chest!
