Well made and durable!!
Fisher-Price is bringing back old time well-made toy construction with their Peek a Blocks! I have 4 kids who are 5 and under, and I have to say that they ALL get use out of these blocks! If you love Peek a Blocks, please feel free to join my Peek a Blocks group at Yahoo Groups:

Daughter Loves It...
I bought this for my daughter who was turning one for her birthday. She loves music, and loves "playing" on the piano. So I though I would give this a try. It is very durable. She has carried it around the house and dropped it a few times. The plugs even made it through the dog's water dish a few times. I have ordered the two expansion packs. I agree that the plugs need a storage system. I have put ours in a basket.

Great idea but not as big a hit as I hoped
I bought this toy for my two and three year old. My two year old is nuts about music so I thought she would have a lot of fun changing the sounds and just playing around with it.

The Lego Music Builder plays 4 nice sounding melodies that can be adjusted by switching the instrument peices or using a dial to increase or decrease the tempo. Each port is labelled with harmony, rhythm, etc although you have to look closely to see these. The instrument sounds can be easily changed around by little hands. There is also an add on pack you can buy that has some fun animal noises. But devise some kind of storage system because otherwise you will be discovering the little instrument peices all over the house.

Truthfully, I had more fun and spent more time playing with it than either of my kids. I am hopeful that as they get a little older they will become more interested in playing with it and identifying the sounds different types of instruments make. Stimulating
We received this toy for a gift for my 3-1/2 year old, and he loves it! He loves puzzles, and immediately figured out how to manipulate the pieces to fit the diagrams He never tires of it, although he'll occasionally get frustrated if the pieces slide out of place on the diagram. The pieces are very well made with no sharp edges. My only complaint is that it only comes with 4 patterns, and the cardboard "form" isn't very durable. Excellent choice overall, though! ... excellent toy
We bought this for our one year old son, he is now three. He plays with it all the time. Very durable, it looks like we just bought it. He puts everything in it and pushes it around. I highly reccommend this toy well worth the money spent.

Beware of chipping paint!!!
We recieved this as a 1st birthday gift for our son, who is still going throught the teething/chewing on everything stage. I must say after he played with the little man that is in the truck I was horrified to see his mouth full of yellow paint. It seems the hard hat on the little man is painted and not colored plastic. And it all peels off if it is put in the mouth. My son does love the toy and plays with it all the time, just not the man that goes with it!

My son loves it!!
We got this for our son for Christmas last year (he just turned 1). He plays with this everyday! He loves running around and pushing the truck everywhere and especially loves dumping all of the pieces out! The only complaint I have is the latch for the dump bucket. It's hard for him to get it unlatched himself so he can dump the blocks, and that really upsets him. Other than that it's a great toy!!!!!

A Decent Toy
This toy is decent. My major complaint is that the bed on the truck does not latch well enough. My daughter has fallen several times pushing the truck from the back because the bed has flipped up. She likes other Mega Block toys better, but this one is acceptable.

Big Truck - Big Fun
My son loves his Mega Truck...he loads it (with Matchbox mostly) and dumps it...pushes it around the house...and then begins the process again. The blocks are fun, too! He's on his second one now...wore the wheels off the first...very durable considering it's excessive use! Would highly recommend this toy for the little guys who love "big trucks". ... Read more

legos are fun
my 5 year old has the dexterity to handle the small pieces and spends hours making her own toys with them. she would rather play with this than anything else. she has lost a few pieces, but still has plenty for building fun.

Great Toy
My 12 month old got this for his birthday and he loves it. All the pieces are of good quality, no brittle plastic as with some. He really likes the jungle animals (giraffe, tiger, and safari guy) that come with it. It's a good skill building toy since he has to concentrate on trying to stack the blocks, etc.. and also good for creative play.
