Centered around a rotary circling a fountain, this colorful little village is home to a schoolhouse, where Kathleen teaches class; a grocery store, manned by grizzled shopkeeper Sam; and a grassy town square, where a little boy, Eddie, rides around on a skateboard. Any of them can hop onto the xylophone, guitar, or saxophone stand and perform a music concert in the park. The roadway and sidewalk spin, allowing Sam or Kathleen to cruise around in a car. This toy offers toddlers lots of colors, sounds, movement, and fun, with numerous accessories. Three C batteries are required (but not included). --Andy Boynton ... Read more

This classic is still spinnin' after all these years--and now it's better than ever. The Sit 'n Spin we all know and love has been spruced up for the new millennium with flashing lights and fun tunes. Just press any of the four buttons on the handle, and you're spinning to one of six classic tunes. Sure, it may be a little snazzier than you remember (thanks to the new colors), but the goal remains the same: hours of dizzying enjoyment. Your kids will love taking this whirling wonder for a spin just as much as you'll enjoy watching them. Requires three AA batteries and a Phillips screwdriver for assembly (not included). --Melissa Wilson ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I think this toy is a bunch of crap & false advertisement
My son received this toy the other day on his 2nd birthday. I think I was more excited than he was about receiving it. I had always wanted to get him one, but never got around to it. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't waste my own money on this. What really gets me is that it says from 18 months to 5 years old. Yeah...RIIIIIIIIIGHT. There's no 18 month old that can understand the concept of how to turn this thing. It took me awhile to figure out why the wheel wasn't turning. Come to find out, it's like the teacup rides at Disney World. The wheel doesn't turn, everything else turns around it. Well I wish they had said that on the box rather than "Turn the wheel to start the spinning action". What a load of crap. Also, like I said, my son just turned 2. He's a big 2, but he's no bigger than a 4 or 5 year old. So there's no way that a 4 or 5 year old can get on this comfortably. I have to agree, the music IS annoying especially cause I had to disassemble it to get the music to stop. It really upsets me that I have to take this back to the store because I was so excited for my son when he opened his gift. This is definitely a toy that I would avoid buying if your kid is less than 2 & a half years old or over 4 years old. Oh wow, I guess then it would really only be good for 3 YEAR OLDS!!! WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...PLEASE.

P.S. I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me give it negative stars.

1-0 out of 5 stars Still fun after all these years!
Sit N' Spin is still a great toy! Durable, easy to clean, and fun for a wide range of ages. My daughter got this as a gift at age 4 or 5, and she still plays with it at age 6. Yes, the "rockin' tunes" are annoying for parents (my husband HATES the music), but we solved this by making Sit N' Spin "basement or outside only" toy. Ours has even survived getting wet on the light panel.

1-0 out of 5 stars fun toy, annoying noise
Our 23-month-old daughter got hers. As a number of reviewers noted, the music is loud and annoying and does not come with an off switch (though it'll turn off after a while, and one can just not press the top of the Sit 'n Spin which turns it on, but the child of course WILL press it). She didn't seem to like the music either--she asked me to take the batteries out. But I found a nice arrangement: I cut one of the wires leading to the speaker (they're easy to see when you open up the battery compartment) and now it has flashing lights, which she likes, and no noisy music, which everybody dislikes. (Why they couldn't put a in slider switch for it, I don't know--it would probably add two cents to production costs.) A bonus is that I assume that with the speaker wires the 3 AA batteries will last for a long time--four red LEDs don't take much power!

Anyway, it took her a bit of time to get the hang of spinning herself, and she does like it. She's not utterly enthusiastic, but it clearly IS fun and looks good for motor development. And today she was entertaining her toy puma with it, so it looks like she can use it for imaginative play, too.

All in all, decent but not outstanding. It probably all depends on the child's interests.

1-0 out of 5 stars It's an okay toy.
I bought the rockin' tunes sit and spin for my son and he loves. He was 17 months old when he got it and it took about 2 weeks for him to figure it out. He's now almost two and this is still one of his favorite toys and he plays with almost everyday. He loves to push the top to make the music and lights come on. I do not like this toy much myself. Amazon describes it as playing 9 different songs but it only plays 6. The songs it does play are not any of the ones in the description. The music is very loud and annoying after a while. I think Amazon put the same description from the classic sit and spin on this one. (...)

1-0 out of 5 stars Love it!!
I purchased this for my 23 mo. old girl for her "new room", and this is her favorite toy she has EVER had! She spins by herself for a bit, then she wants me to spin her so she can go a little faster. When she edges off to the floor, she giggles and says "more". It's usually the first thing she runs to in her room. It's also fun for my 5 yr old boy to spin on. Another game with it is to put dolls and animals on it and spin them (not very fast) to see who stays on the longest. I don't think my little girl cares about the lights and maybe even the music right now. She just likes to go, go, go. It does seem a little easy to tip. Give ample clearance from the wall. Good price for spinning fun. ... Read more

A Big Hit in the Tub!
My daughter loves this bath toy. She loves Sesame Street, and this is just perfect. We ask her where each character is, and she picks them up and shows us. What's great about it is that the toys don't have holes in the bottom of them, so no water gets in them. She is also fascinated by the palm tree and the water that showers out of it. I use the palm tree to wet her hair down to wash it. Definetly a great bath toy!

Great fun in the tub!
My son, wo loves Sesame Street, has this toy and loves it. He gets so excited to take a bath with Elmo and the gang. He even hates getting out of the tub. I used the flotable toys in the pool, which he got a kick out of and only added to his creativity.

It's a great bathtime toy!

Hours of bathtime fun!!
My son got this for his first birthday and we've had fun playing with it every bath since! He loves to put Elmo and Telly and Ernie on the edge of the tub and make them dive! It's a durable bath toy...doesn't get all coroded like some others. I would highly recommend!

Fun for the Sesame Street Fan
I recently bought this toy for my 19 month old daughter who I was having trouble getting into the tub. As a huge Elmo fan, I must admit, I had great success after putting this in the tub with her! She loves to pour water into the spinning palm tree, kisses Elmo endlessly and just overall loves this toy. I inspected each figurine prior to putting it into the tub for fear of cracks in the seams which could lead to mold issues, as stated by other parents but fortunately there were none. Overall a cute toy.

Great toy!
My son has had this toy for over a year now, and he still loves to play with it in the tub. It's durable, and fun. Haven't had any mold problems with it. ... Read more

J.C. joy
My son is only 2 years old and he loves his motorcycle. This toy was the only thing that came close to being like a real motorcycle. The only complaint was that one of the back motors went bad, but so far the company has been working with me to get it replaced. My son has learned how to steer and how to control the bike very well. J.C. loves his kawasaki!!!
Thank you power wheels we hope to see a different model next year!!

Correction (...)
(...) Those side wheels are where the motors are connected. The regular front and back motorcycle wheels do not have motors on them. The plastic side wheels will wear quickly. There is a guy on ebay that sells rubber slip-ons to give these power wheel toys more traction. Definitely recommend. As far as complexity of assembly. This was one of the easier to assemble products I've done. Took an hour at the most. Some of the Cap nuts are a little challengine to hammer. I would recommend a couple of bricks or pieces of wood for backing up one end while hammering the other.

Tip: The battery charger comes stored under the seat when first purchased. I thought mine was missing when I opened the box.

my 2 year old loves this
I bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old son and he loves it. This is really a nice built toy. Putting this together is of med difficulty, I suggest doing it at night for your kids will want to ride it when it is done, but you'll need to charge the battery. If its dark out the will be more likely to understand why they can't ride it yet. The battery needs to charge 14-16 hours right out of the box and after every use(says the instructions). I charge it almost every night for my son rides every day. We have had it over a month and he still lights up when he gets on it. The only thing you will have to really teach your kids is to get on from the side the peddle is not on. My son got on the other side once and it took off and he stayed put.It scared him good and I then made sure he only gets on the other side(it took a day of reminders). This bike goes pretty fast on the high speed setting, fast enough where I have to walk really fast to keep up. I put the high speed on right from the start. There is a throttle that controls the high speed and the foot is the low speed. The foot needs to be pressed in order for the throttle to activate the high speed and my 2yr old picked this up instantly. He only drives fast so I bought a dirtbike helmut like daddy's for him to wear.Overall this is the best money spent in his 2 1/2 years. I mean that. When he first rode this he had tears of joy in his eyes. I felt like the best dad in the world.Buy your kid this toy if he loves dirtbikes. You will not be disappointed.

BEST PURCHASE YET!!!!
My son is 34months old (not quite 3) and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this "dirt bike". He rides it everyday and we keep an extra battery on charge at all times, which works out perfectly. He figured out the hand throttle without even being shown, and has started to do "tricks". Several neighbors have stopped to watch him zing around the yard and comment on how amazingly cute it is. Educational? You bet - teaches coordination, care of owning something, etc.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANY MOTORCYCLE LOVING KID!!!

Favorite toy!
This birthday present is a -huge- success for 3yr old son. Have had this for over a month now and is still by far his favorite. Each time he jumps on this I'm impressed at the style and quality of this cycle. Was very skeptical that he would have a control issue and I'd be involved w/full-time supervision. Not the case. Since controls are so easy and it's got a handle bar vs a steering wheel he controls this with ease. The neighbors jeep ride-on toys are much harder to control because of small steering wheel, poor turning radius and child is confined inside vehicle. This is so durable my wife even jumps on this thing and takes it around the cul-de-sac. My double-car garage is packed with various toys and this is by far the favorite. Bikes, pedal tractors, trikes all take back burner to this. I would shop no further and buy this Kawasaki at any price. ... Read more

misunderstood toy; great when you follow the directions
It is funny to see one parent saying that her 1 year old's feet can't touch the "petals" (smirk) when the intended age is 18 months and up. Another funny thing is to see how many parents say the "parental" handle doesn't lock in place--I got news for you it does!! All you have to do is put the yellow pin which locks the handle in place in "rocker" mode behind the handle when it is in "parent" mode. Our two year old loves this and enjoys rocking, riding, and pushing the parent handle. He hasn't quite caught on using the pedals because his feet get in the way but hey, that's what two year olds do. :) I see this as a long term learning toy to help our son transition to a bike later on. It was a very smart purchase. Lots of stores have them to try out--go decide for yourself.

great toy
i just bought this for my 2 year old daughter and she loves it. wherever we go this toy has to come. It has a place for little ones who are not quite big enough to ride on there own to put there feet up while mommy pushes them around, and while we are at home she loves the rocker. This is a great toy.

Great for Grandma's House as they will get years of use
We have three of these as each of my boys received one for their first birthday and I think they are great. The only problem is I wish they were all at the same house - two are by their Grandparents 3000 miles away while my three fight over the one we have at home. Makes we want to go buy one or two more. My six year old still loves to ride it even though he has moved onto a big boy bike because he can really zoom around the corners without getting nervous. The little foot rest doesn't do much but not a huge problem. Found that it worked best in the rocking mode when off the carpet. The handle is great as not only am I able to push them but they push each other. It really manuvers well. My almost 2 year old tries to pedal it but is not quite big enough so he just zooms around with foot power. All in all a great toy that after 5 years of constant use shows no signs of "decay" - how many toys can you say that about?

Fun fo Less the Price
I wanted to buy my daugther a more expensive Trike, but my husband I could not see paying over 80 dollars for a Trike she would outgrow. So we bought this trike and boy I'm glad we did. Our daughter likes the fact there is a foot rest since she is too young to petal and we love the stearing rod even though it is some times tough to use....but I'm still getting use to it. We also like the fact if we have another child it can turn into a rocker. Plus it is very durable. We have rolled it in grass, concrete, sand, etc... and the wheels are in like new condition along with all the other parts. Very Happy with this product!

WONDERFUL FIRST TRIKE!!!
We never used this as a rocker, my son, now almost 2 got this last Xmas, and LOVES it! Only downfall, my son zooms around the carport on it, and it tips frequently, so just be close to catch if it falls~ A great first trike~ ... Read more

Get ready to learn shapes, colors, numbers, letters, face parts, animal sounds, and more with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the Sesame Street gang! This Sing & Teach Table features tons of buttons and other interactive gadgets that prompt fun lessons for babies and toddlers, all in the wacky, weird voices of the Muppets. (Presumably, tots are familiar enough with the characters to understand all the squeals and growls.) The semi-circular shaped plastic table stands 12 inches high, not counting the waggling Elmo head that presides over the action. Children sit or stand at the table, lifting the Cookie Monster head to learn about "open" and "closed," spinning a drum for the alphabet song, or picking up a cell phone to hear The Count soliloquize about numbers. Dora the Explorer, "Nick Jr.'s" doe-eyed, Mexican sojourner, converses in Spanish and English as a doll as naturally as a cartoon. From simple, one-word translations to the "Happy Song," Dora speaks and sings using over 30, clearly pronounced, easy-to-learn words. She interacts with four included friends--a star, baby bird, butterfly and frog--who respond with movement, light and sound (via microchips) when placed in her right hand. Dora's body is designed to sit rather than stand (she has a very flat bum and solid posture), so she's actually built to be conversational. Just position her on the edge of a chair and the fun begins. If kids still need something to coddle, Dora has pliable extremities, and her pretty, brown hair can be combed. Her clothes, however, are not removable. Required: 4 "AA" batteries.--Diane Beall ... Read more

at least it's fun
The toy is fun for my three year old; however, we have had a terrible time keeping track of Dora's "friends" which is the reason I rated durability rather low. When you place the "friend" in Dora's hand, there is no locking mechanism; so as my little girl is running around the house -as children do- with her Dora doll, Dora's "friends" are flying at my 4 month old's head. No injuries to report thus far, though. Also, we have already lost (and found) two of Dora's "friends". If I had one suggestion to make it would be to include Backpack with the doll, making Backpack fully functional so that the "friends" can live there when not in use. I have also been disappointed with Dora's phrases. Apparently, she is to say 30 interactive phrases and in the entire time my daughter has had her Dora doll, I've only heard a total of 8 phrases, which is my justification for rating Dora's educational value low as well.

Cute Toy
My 2 year old received this as a gift. Six months later she still plays with it frequently. She even calls many of the characters by the Spanish names. Although she hasn't quite gotten into the games, she still enjoys the song. This is a must for any Dora fan.

Great educational toy
This is a great educational toy. It is fun and easy to use for children. My daughter loves it. She received the toy for her first birthday and has been enjoying it. I'm so glad I purchased the toy for her.

Not very impressed
I bought this Dora the Explorer Doll for my 2 year old. Within the first week it was grinding and not recognizing which character was what. Not very durable!

EXCITING!

The Pixter is like a personal digital assistant (PDA) for kids. But instead of storing boring appointments and phone numbers, they get to draw, do puzzles, and learn a little, too. The Pixter is about the size of a small book, and has a pretty solid weight to it. It's made out of brightly colored and durable plastic. The main action of this toy is drawing with an attached stylus. The Color Pixter offers much better graphics then the black and white version, which comes in handy with activities like Paint-by-Numbers and Connect-the-Dots. You can draw a picture free form, or you can use one of the starter backgrounds. There are tool buttons, like on a PDA, that give you access to fun stamps, special effects, and the eraser button. You can also save your creation in the Pixter's memory. There are some boppy tunes playing along with all this creative activity, but luckily for parents, there's also a jack for headphones and a volume adjuster. An expansion slot on top of the Pixter accepts ROM-based expansion cards that contain additional software and games. Requires 4 "AA" batteries. (Not included.) --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Kids really love this toy
My daughter was 3 1/2 when she first played with her 10 year old sister's B&W Pixter, and she loved it. So I got her the color Pixter, and she plays with it every day, especially in the car. There are educational games available for it, as well as entertainment games. It also plays all the older black and white games for the older versions of Pixter.

Disappointed
We bought this for our 4 year old because he's not quite old enough for Game Boy. We have already had to return it twice due to it malfunctioning within a short period of time. The first one, the stylus didn't work and the second one the stylus worked on only half the screen after a couple of weeks. For as much money as we spent, I had great expectations. The kids, 4-9 years, enjoyed it while it worked, it just didn't hold up very long. I'd spend my money else where.

Take Care
My kids love this toy!! But do be careful because it is needs to be well taken care of. I would not reccommend this to any child who just throws things down where they may.

worth every penny
My 4 year old is one of those kids who can't play with anything for more than 5 minutes, except the Pixter. It is the best toy I've ever bought for her, and we've tried everything (thanks to used toys and bargains...). I bought her the Pixter recently because I was pregnant and too tired to keep her busy. It is well designed, challenging but not frustrating, is adaptable to her growth and needs, etc.

Pixter Easily Broken
I got my daughter the Pixter Color. Her little sister dropped it on my oak floor a few hours after we opened up the box. Now only half the screen works. I know it was dropped, but kids drop stuff. There must be a way to make these things more breakage-resistant. Spending 80 dollars on a toy that worked just one afternoon is bad enough. Listening to my daughter sob all evening was worse. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Little People are great!
I bought this for my twins' first birthday. At first they really didn't know what to do with it. Now they love it and I find them fighting over it. They're really into opening and closing the doors and putting the animals (and any other toys within reach) in and dumping them out. They went through a phase of throwing their toys. I find this to be very durable and they have no problems opening it up on their own. My only complaint is that the door/ramp keeps falling off and they can't put it back on themselves. Otherwise this would have received five stars. We have Little People trucks that they also love, especially the garbage truck because of the noises. We plan on buying the farm for Christmas. I'm in my 30's and still love Little People. They've come a long way from the wooden toys that I had when I grew up!

4-0 out of 5 stars MOTHER OF ONE BUSY LITTLE BOY
MY SON'S GODPARENTS BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON WHEN HE WAS 6 MONTHS OLD. HE STARTED SHOWING A REAL INTEREST IN IT WHEN HE WAS ABOUT 10 MONTHS OLD. NOW THAT HE IS A YEAR OLD HE LOVES THE ANIMALS AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE AND TAKES THEM EVERYWHERE WITH HIM! HE STUDIES THE ANIMALS SO INTENTLY AND TRIES TO REPEAT AFTER ME WHEN I TELL HIM WHAT TYPE OF ANIMAL IT IS. THIS TOY IS HIS FAVORITE AND KEEPS HIM BUSY FOR HOURS! HE NEVER GETS BORED OF IT AND I FIND IT VERY EDUCATIONAL NOW THAT MY SON IS LEARNING TO TALK.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very hard plastic
Love the toy - our 14 month old and 4-year-old girls fight over it constantly. Our only complaint is that the plastic is a little too hard - seeing that the animals are generally flying through the air at our heads. Maybe a protective bike helmet would be a good companion gift.

4-0 out of 5 stars Skip fancy electronics!
My son turned one and we wanted to get him a special toy from his grampa. We started with the Leap Start Musical table and found that even though he loved it, the sensor went out after two days! I took it back and got the Little Touch Leap Pad which he was also interested in but when he couldn't press the sensors (not even I could do it very easily) he became disinterested.

Finally I read some more reviews and got him this much cheaper Noah's Ark set. He LOVED it!! He couldn't even wait for me to take it out of the package he was so excited!! Right now he loves to move the pieces around and put them in and out. He even notices if one of the animals is missing and gets it from across the room!

I am beginning to realize that all the lights and whistles of these new 'educational' toys may not be the best at stimulating young minds. Toys like 'Little People' seem to stimulate creativity and don't have any bounds to where their minds can take them on their learning adventure.

Who would have thought that sticking to the simple toys would bring so much excitement to a little todler!

I highly recommend this and any Little People toys!

4-0 out of 5 stars My Grandson's favorite toy!
I babysit my 22 month old grandson 2 days a week so I try to have interesting toys for him to play with. This is a toy he plays with for hours and he keeps going back to throughout the day. He arranges the animals in different places each time he plays with this toy. Sometimes he brings the animals up the ramp, sometimes through the trap door on top, and he also likes placing the animals on the pegs on top as well. He gets so focused as he opens and closes the ark and arranges all his little people, you can just see his imagination running wild. The toy is well made and very user friendly for the child. His second favorite toy is the Fisher Price Little People Farm with Sounds. This is a great gift for your toddler. ... Read more

The airport is a fascinating place to young children and it''s not hard to understand why: all those enormous airplanes, people coming and going, suitcases, and luggage carousels. It''s all pretty amazing. So kids are likely to love this fun airport set from Fisher-Price''s Little People collection. It sports an orange plane, helicopter, taxicab, windsock, control tower, radar dish, restaurant area, binocular stand, and more fun airport features. It''s compatible with all other Little People sets (and, frankly, it puts the ever-expanding Little People city on the map as a major metropolis). My Son Loves This Toy
My son has several little people toys, but this is his favorite and ours! I bought it used and it still works great! The helicopter is his favorite because it lights up and the rotor blades move! I also like it because it only has two big pieces to the airport itself which makes it easier to carry around.

Another wonderful "Little People" item!
My children have been playing with Little People for years. My youngest son got the airport for his birthday. He loves all the sounds the vehicles make when they are rolled or turned! The people are chunky for his little fingers. All the sounds are wonderful. The only complaint is that the runway is not connected to the rest of the track. Overall I would recommend this to anyone with a toddler. My older children love playing with him as well!

Great Toy!
We bought this toy for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves it! He uses the "road" for all his vehicles and trains. It is a great pretend-play toy. Very durable. Great quality.

I bought this toy for my 2 boys (both under 5 yrs) & they like it. I on the otherhand can not take the airport & car parking apart like I can with the city set. I am a disappointed in this. I even called Fisher Price & they didn't know how to take it apart. I recently went to Toys'R'Us & saw the same toy but with the Discovery video. I didn't get the video with the one I bought which is sad because both of my kids are into planes now.

Some Confusion??
From reading the prior reviews, I think there is some confusion surrounding exactly what this toy is and isn't. First off, it IS a Toys R us exclusive. It does NOT, however, have flashing runway lights or make sounds activated by the vehicles. I think the cause of confusion is that this new TRU version looks EXACTLY like the old Discovery Airport, but is not battery operated. I was not at all disappointed when I received this, though. From what I've read about Discovery Airport, parents constantly complained that the sounds never worked properly. (Perhaps the reason it was discontinued???) And Discovery Airport was very expensive; it was priced as high as [$$$] in the Fisher Price store! This new airport is certainly a less costly alternative. My only issue with the toy is that if it includes pilots for the planes, why not a driver for the taxi? ... Read more

Made by Fisher-Price, this electronic learning system is comprised of an InteracTV DVD, which you insert into your home DVD player; a controller; and activity cards based on popular children's television shows. Plug an activity card into the controller, and games and activities featuring that show will appear on the TV screen. Nine touch points let kids interact with the characters, in lessons covering numbers, colors, animals, and more. Cards contain more than 100 learning questions and activities, posed randomly. This model comes with three activity cards--SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, and Elmo's World--as well as a storage case to hold the cards and the DVD. A switch on the controller enables you to use the system on up to three different DVD players--say, in multiple rooms, or at relatives' houses. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars good toy but needs work
My three year old just recieved this toy for his birthday, and I was a little worried that he was not going to be able to work it on his own. To my amazment he picked it up, and began playing. Some of the screens that it wants you to interact with are a little advanced for him, but it helps you along the way. My only complaint is getting it to work with your dvd player. We went out and bought a new dvd player for him, and we have tried everything to get it to work. When we moved it to another dvd player it works fine! The directions for quick set up were anything but easy. I think the manufactor needs to work on this toy, but it is a good idea!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
My daughter just received this for her third birthday and all she wants to do is play with it. She is really practicing her numbers and paying attention to what is happening so she can find the right answer. Money well spent.

5-0 out of 5 stars fun and educational
I bought this for my daughter who loves all of the characters that are featured on the trial DVD. She just loves it. She sits for an hour playing all of the games. She is 3yrs old and can put the DVD in and start the game on her own. The sensor is able to reach the DVD player from various locations in our living room. Interac TV is very fun and educational!! I am very glad that I purchased it. We will be buying them for other children that we know for Christmas.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not impressed either
We received this toy as a gift for our 2 year old. It didn't work correctly, as the buttons on the right upper portion were not functional. After much frustration between our 2 year old, 3 year old and both parents and grandparents, we took the toy back to Target to Exchange for a 'working' toy. Got it home, just to find that it was less functional than the first toy we had. Now, the kids don't even want to play with it, and don't want another one. Much mental anguish, and we don't even know who to contact directly to let them know that this product is dysfunctional.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
We bought this for our 4 yr old's birthday. We're wishing we would've saved our money & gotten something else that works better. Everytime you start up the device, it acts as if you have to reprogram it all over again (you're supposed to only have to program it once for each DVD player in the home). A couple of times, we HAVE had to reprogram it, which is time consuming & frustrating. This confuses our child & she has lost interest in it, really quick. ... Read more

misunderstood toy; great when you follow the directions

Read more

educational and fun!
This toy is great! Does 16 different animals sounds. Sings Old McDonald through one time. Each time using a different animal name and sound, of the 16 animals. A quiz mode to find the animal that makes a certain sound. The handle is easy to pull, for a 2 yr old anyway. He imitates the animal sounds. It uses batteries, so it sounds a lot better than the standard see n' say. The batteries have lasted long in it, 3AA. ... Read more

Great buy
Great bike. Runs great on grass. It's acutally pretty fast. My husband and I like that it STOPS when our daughter takes her foot off the gas, instead of continuing to coast.

My Child's First Car
My husband and I just got this Jeep for my daughter's second birthday. My daughter was THRILLED to say the least when she seen her "new car." She is a little above average height for her age (a little over 36 inches) and she was able to reach the pedal just fine. She has had it for 2 days now and has gotten pretty good with steering it. I highly recommend taking your child to an open field where they can practice without mowing down pedestrians. :) I gave this Jeep 3 stars for durability because we have only had it for two days and that is not an adaquite amount of time to fully judge it's durablity. However, my daughter id ride it around are small kitchen and hit the stove, chairs, and wall a few times and the Jeep was fine. This Jeep goes over grass, gravel, concrete, and just about anything! We were wuite surprised because we thought she would be getting stuck a lot and we'd have to do a lot of pushing. We had Toys R Us put together the Jeep because though my husband is quite the handyman, he just didn't have hours to put aside to asemble the Jeep. Toys R Us forgot to give us the instruction sheets so when we brought it home, we just winged it. It is very simple to operate, there's one pedal on the right that the child pushes to make the Jeep go forward. By pressing a botton near the cup holder by the floor, the child can make it go in reverse. We haven't showed her how to go in reverse yet because we want her to be able to feel comfortable going forward first. Without having an instruction sheet, we had no idea how long to charge the battery. We ended charging it for about eight hours. We intent on calling Toys R Us to get all the instruction sheets that come with the Jeep that we never recieved. Well I guess we didn't charge the battery long enough because it died about 2 hours later. Our daughter was so upset, she thought she had broken her "new car." So, my husband actually had to push her home in the Jeep-and the Jeep is not light. We fully intend on buying an extra battery and charger so that never happens. I highly recommend it for all of you who want to buy this Jeep for your child. I thought it to be educational because it teaches my daughter forward, backwards, left, and right and improves her motor skills. And fun? This toy is a definite 5 STARS! We could not keep her off of the Jeep. She was the envy of all the kids in the park. This Jeep is a definite MUST HAVE!

My little sister
My little sister owns this toy and I find that it is a very good toy for thge little kids it's just that they need to take time and learn how to steer it. I'm glad that it was recalled and all the problems have been fixed with ther fires, ect. Luckily, I have decided to use this product for my school paper and so far I'm doing pretty great on it because it's such a great toy for the young ones! My little sister loves it and comes home from daycare and jumps right in it. Thanks!

Good Buy for little ones
We bought this for our two year olds birthday, and it will go through anything. It rides on grass, over roots, on cement, whatever. Our little girl was a little intimidated by the size at first, but now she just gets in and goes.

Pleased mom
My daughter got this as a gift from her dad and myself for her 2nd birthday. She has no idea how to steer it and it constantly running into things - but boy does she love to drive it! She particularly enjoys yelling to the neighbours - hey, this is my car!!! It is very cute and I am sure she will learn to steer it soon. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of laughs
We bought this swing a couple of weeks ago and our 10 month old daughter loves it. She shreks in delight the whole time. My biggest complaint is that when it was manufactured they didn't make sure that the ropes were even. Before I could hang it up I had to feed the rope through from the long side to the short side to even it up (someone's review states that they couldn't use the swing because of this -not true- the manual tells you how to fix this.) We have also joked that putting a tray on a swing is useless. You can't put snacks on it when they swing both because they will fall off and, more importantly, the risk of choking. Hopefully any parent with common sense would be smart enough not to try this. I also don't see that any kid would sit still enough in it when it isn't swinging to be able to eat anyway. I would definitely recommend this swing. Ours is still in the infant recline position and once our daughter is bigger and more stable we will be able to use it in the upright position.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stinks
The swing stinks. There are plenty of swings out there more durable and more trustworthy than this swing will ever be. Even though the other swings cost more it is much safer to buy them.Come on plastic, are u kidding me?

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a great swing!
We love this swing! So does 6 month old Jake! He sits in it and just swings away! When his average size 3 year old cousin came over, she decided she wanted to swing, so her older cousins helped her in it and pushed her back and forth and she loved it! The swing has held up very well! The only thing that is kind of difficult about this is getting the yellow part off to get an older and bigger child out. This is probably a good thing, though, so that a child cannot fall out. We have it attached to our back porch. Swinging in this has provided lots of smiles from our little boy!

1-0 out of 5 stars t-bar swings are better
I had bought this swing and returned it the next day. Everyone on the block has the old model of the swing with the t-bar, and that is what I wanted. I put my son who was 7 months old in it, buckled him up, and I felt like he was going to fall out or end up dangling somehow. He had figured out how to get the stationary swing to move when it wasn't on, by moving himself forward and backward. Also fisher price thinks the snack tray is a benefit, but it really isn't. You are supposed to feed your child while they are sitting still. What if the baby chokes while they are swinging and eating? I think the directions even say not to leave your child unattended and to only have food when the swing is still.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very Concerned Parent
My husband and I purchased this swing for our 14 month old daughter. At first we liked it, but yesterday we changed our minds. Our daughter can unbuckle the belt. We are very concerned about this. If she can do it what is stopping an older child from doing this and getting hurt. Thank God my husband was standing there or she may have fallen out. I called the company and they said they would refund our money after they got the swing. Please if you own this swing, don't leave your child alone. I am hoping Fisher Price will recall it and do something about this problem. We are going out this weekend and look for a new swing. Please Please watch your kids. I am hoping the company does something about this problem before someone gets hurt. Let the company know how you feel or if you have a problem of any kind let them know. I'm sure they will do all they can to help. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice
Better than I expected. It's very rugged, it opens it's mouth when you pull the trigger and roars (which I didn't expect). My son loves it.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty cool
My daughter is facinated by monsters and dinasours and was captivated by this toy.The main problem is that at 5 she has a some problems keeping the parts from coming apart while playing (and keeping her baby sister away from them), so it ends up being kept away except when I can monitor. Some of the parts have already been lost and may be better for older kids. But the look is great and definately excites the imagination.

5-0 out of 5 stars Razor the T-Rex
Dinosaurs are the coolest thing that ever happened to Imaginext. While the pirate and medieval themes are cool, this prehistoric theme takes the prize for ultra coolness. The premise here is simple enough.Predators versus non-predators.Carnivores versus herbivores.

Razor the T-Rex is one of the bad guys.He stands among the biggest dinosaurs, about twice the size of the triceratops, stegosaurus, and allosaurus. He has posable legs, tail, and forearms.A trigger under his belly causes his head to lunge forward with snapping jaws, accompanied by sound effects and a dinosaur roar.Razor has a rather sinister look about him. He's not quite as cute as the other Imaginext dinosaurs are, but he still has plenty of "menacing" charisma. He has a great paint job of red and dark blue, and the designs on his body add flavor.

On Razor's back is a saddle for a cave man figure to ride. The included cave man wears a dinosaur skull headdress and carries a bone staff. He's got some great posability in the arms, and his hands do a great job of grasping items. Also included is a catapult and two large boulders.

Razor, his cave-man buddy, and the catapult are all durable and constructed from soft plastic. This is a really nice dinosaur action figure and a great addition to the Imaginext collection.Fisher Price has done a great job on what is by far the coolest and most charismatic collection of dinosaur action figures I've seen.My verdict:thumbs up!

5-0 out of 5 stars WHAT A COOL DINOSAUR!
My 4-year-old received this toy for his birthday. It is a hit with him and all of his dinosaur loving friends.Fisher-Price has definately cornered the market with these wonderful dinosaurs. These dinosaurs are much cooler than any other dinosaurs I have seen because of the moving parts/action.The T-rex is extra neat as it roars.I like that it comes with an on-off switch for quiet play.My only concern is with the little guy and his "tools" that the dinosaurs come with. They are too little and easily lost.Nevertherless, it is easy enough for me to put them up on a shelf. My son is more than happy to play with just the dinosaur.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Pretend for that Little Prince or Princess!!!!
My now 2 1/2 year old received this for Christmas, but we never opened it b/c she received the "infamous" Dora Talking Dollhouse! She "discovered" this in the basement and started to get really worked up for her Castle and Princess!! She is now really into princess make believe, so we opened it up!!! She got the Maiden Mary, Sir Lance a Little, and Watchful Woodsmen sets as well.SHE LOVES IT!!!! She loves to push the flag and make the trumpet sound and lower the drawbridge. I think her 8 year old sister, and 6 year old brother love it just as much as she does.As usual, Fisher Price Little People are just great! She loves all her little people, but this is fast becoming her favorite!!!It is the quality and durability that one comes to expect with the Little People name!! A great investment for years to come!! I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any little people items, they have staying power, and are timeless!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars i love it
Am going to give the castle to my son on his bday and i know that he'll love it,i can't wait to give it to him.He just loves everything of little people there so cute and educational as well also i like the fact it's for boys and girls.i play with my son alot since i just go to school on and he actually knows all the names.I like that little people is great for kids to play and learn every mom go buy some little people books to their so cute and educational too oh and the tapes or dvds.

5-0 out of 5 stars All hail the king.
My three-year-old son loves his castle. He received it for his 2nd birthday and still plays with it almost every day.It is a nice alternative to the Little People House playset that is very gender specific. It allows the same role-play (with the table, bed, etc.) without the stigma of being a "girlie" toy.I wish fisher price would make the house gender neutral. The pink and purple colors tend to turn away parents of boys. The sounds of this castle are fun.The trumpets play when the flag is pushed as if announcing the royal couple's arrival.A fun toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for any child
I have 3 children....all girls. Twins that just turned 2 and a 10 month old. This is a really fun set for either boys or girls. I love the Little People playsets because all three can play and I don't have to worry too much about tiny pieces for the youngest to swallow like in others. But the castle theme is just neat because it lets them become more creative. Most of the other LP sets they have they often imitate what they see in real life. In this one they love the "dragon" and "knight" and get into some really intreasting conversations with each other. I keep it in their bedroom and they play with it every day. A great investment! I also love how well these LP playsets hold up. Very sturdy and durable.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another great Little People selection!
I am always so excited when new Little People collections come out.I swear I think I like them more than my kids! This is the first one we bought for my almost 2 year old. It's really a great toy, not too girlie, and not too boyish. He's a little bit young to get everything out of it, but each day he learns more and more about imaginative play. His older brother is almost 5 and STILL plays with every Little People toy we've ever purchased. He especially likes the little dragons in this one and the accessory set we got.I love the horse and the balcony.
Any toy that keeps my child's interest for as long as these do is tops in my book.Only complaint about this one - the stickers ripped off very easily.First time they didn't last at least a week!
I recommend this and ALL Little People toys for any child 1 1/2 to at least 5. ... Read more
