2-year old loves it!
I got this for my daughter's second birthday, and she loves it! The hair dryer sound is her favorite, and she likes to put lipstick and nailpolish on everyone in the house. Valium please!
While this doll is clever with its movements, it feels heavy and clunky -- more like a padded robot than a baby doll. My daughter received one from my sister-in-law, on whom I will seek revenge when she has kids someday (I'm thinking a drum set and an ant farm -- yuk yuk yuk). The baby's sounds are
l-o-u-d and very, very, very repetitous. It's enough to make you want to drive a knitting needle through your eye (or at the very least, take it to my sister-in-law's house and "accidentally" leave it there). Even my daughter begs me to "turn it off" after a few moments of play. All parents be warned! This one will drive you bonkers.

Ilove this doll and all of it's functions. So does my daughter. The problem is we have purchased and returned two. The doll would keep moving it's mouth and blinking. No matter what we did it kept going, even after turning it off! I would have to take out the batteries at least 3 -4 times a day to reset it and to make it stop.<br /> My daughter wants Santa to bring her another cause she loves it so much. She will probably get her wish, but with lots of reservation.

Really Really Realistic
I bought Baby Annabel and this doll because after reading reviews I could NOT make up my mind. There are pros and cons to each, but this one is hands down my choice. Cons: 1. Plastic body is only on hands and feet. No dresses for Love Me Chou Chou! 2. Heavier than Annabel, but WAY more realistic feeling. She is chubby like a real baby. Pros: 1. Real skin like face, you can't tell through the box, but when you touch her face it is the coolest thing ever! 2. Much better sounding voice, realistic sounds. Annabel is kind of whiny, much louder and more computerized sounding. 3. Mouth moves when she cries and laughs as well as when she eats or suck on her pacifier. 4. The leg kicking is the cutest thing ever. She stretches her legs out like a real baby. For $5 more, it is an obvious choice!

This is so kewl! i love the magnet walls and real lights! (...)! Like I said Fun Fun FUN!!! It was kinda tricky puttin it together, tho. I LOVE IT!!!

Hip Lil' Pad!
The Lil' Bratz Stylin' Space is a totally fun and imaginative alternative to a doll house! With all of the accessories (plus the two extra fashion accessory packs sold separately,) there are endless decorating and organizational posibilities! There's lots to do with the magnetic walls for you can arrange real lights, hooks and the book shelf, not to mention the "wall panels" flip to create mix and match looks! The bedroom style is also perfect for the 4 Lil' Slumber Pary Bratz to hang out in. While this toy earns 5 stars for super fun, it rates low on durability, as the walls aren't stable unless the ceiling is snapped in place (and accessibility to the dolls is more difficult) not to mention there is no way to change the light bulbs should they burn out. Batgirl Returns
Barbie as Batgirl was my favorite Barbie release in the series of DC Comics heroines in the last year, and I am most pleased to see her shine again in this amazing set. The package holding this gem is sturdy enough for collectors but easily torn apart by those who want to release "Barb"ra from her plastic prision. The set itself is duplicates the golden age of "Batmania" and is worthy of the Barbie title, furthur proving that nostalgia reings supreme in these day of disposible income. The bottome line? This set is definately aimed at collectors and pays hommage to the magic that is Barbie. Supermodel, Everday Woman, Superherione...Barbie can be anything. And don't you ever forget that.

A remarkable Barbie gift set!
First of all, potential buyers of this toy set should know that the manufacturer's description listed above in inaccurate: This doll does not have the "bendy" body that the individually issued Batgirl Barbie has. This doll has more of an "action figure" body made from hard plastic. Another difference is this doll's head is on a ball-joint, so she can look forward while posed on the Batcycle. In general, this doll is more posable than the other version, and her joints have a larger range of motion. Also, her boots are not split up the back like the other doll's; therefore the boots will stay on nicely during play.

The Batcycle itself is pretty fantastic as well. The bike has several moving parts and perfectly supports the doll in a riding position.

The set makes a terrific display piece, but I am betting kids will love it as much as collectors. Mattel has really made an impressive toy with this set! And you can't beat amazon.com's price!

Is there no end to what these Disney Princesses can do? Now they're ice queens--in only the most flattering manner of speaking, of course. Cinderella pirouettes like an Olympic champ in her fluffy lavender tulle costume. Just snap the (admittedly unattractive) plastic belt around Cinderella's waist, wind her up, and watch her spin! After the show, Cinderella can slip into something more fashionable: a pale lavender-ruffed pink suit with matching boots and over-the-shoulder bag. Cinderella's moveable joints allow her to explore many different poses and skating moves, although it's a shame the mechanics of those joints are so exposed. Awesome for learning to play with imagination
My daughter is two and loves this doll! She memorized the first day all of the sayings! It teaches a small amount of spanish, which is a great start for a child to learn. My daughter loves to pretend play with Dora. I feel this has expanded my daughters imagination play out more! Great toy!!

It's Dora!
This is a very well made doll. It's cute and perfect for our little 3 year old. This doll helps her with her role playing, which she is doing alot of now. And she acts out scenes with this doll and Boots (9 inch cuddly doll). The hair keeps well.

My 18-month-old loves her Dora doll! She says several cute phrases, including a couple in Spanish. The backpack, bracelet, and surprise are a real treat too. kids love it, mom hates it
My 4 year old daughter got this for Christmas from her aunt. If you get this toy, beware! There are little pellets of dog food that get everywhere. My 5 yr old thought it was fish food and put it in the fish tank located on top of this toy. I spent 15 minutes fishing out dog food.

Speaking of the fish tank, it leaks. I have drops of water everywhere.

While this toy is fun, the pieces get everywhere. If you're into Barbie, go with just the dolls and outfits and skip all of these annoying toys.

Pretty cool
This barbie pet shop is pretty cool, and its hours of fun! Its educational cause you can pretend to buy pets for money, and you learn that you have to breed wash, and feed the pets, and it also makes plenty of animal sounds! Has TONS of Pets!

Sends the wrong message
Unfortunately my niece has one of the Barbie Sweet Sounds Pet Shops, and I would advise against purchasing one for your child. As someone who has worked for an animal shelter, I know first hand how bad real pet shops can be. A majority of the animals are raised in horrible conditions such as puppies born in puppy mills. Pet shops also cater to impulse buyers who have not fully thought through the long-term responsibility of having a pet. Those pets are often surrendered to animal shelters. I think this toy sends the wrong message to kids. Mattel should make a "Barbie adopts from a shelter" toy instead. ... Read more

Mommy of 3 year old
I bought this almost a year ago for my daughter's third birthday. She loves to put her 'Hanna' down for her nap. (Her two year old brother does too.) It is not the kind of toy that entertains for more than a few minutes at a time, but it gets regular use. It is very cute. A little fragile, but as long as they are not standing in it, it should be fine. We have not had any trouble. She loves using the little pillow and blanket. A nice addition to a little girls room and bed time routine.

OK for the price
This is a very functional toy for a child to have in their collection. Though it does not provide hours of entertainment, this toy has become a part of my daughter's daily ritual. She gets her doll in the morning, puts it down for nap, etc. I am overjoyed to see my daughter play with a toy that does not need batteries, only imagination.

I was happy to see that the cradle came with a liner- so many of the more expensive cradles have accessories that must be purchased separately.

It is the not the sturdiest toy, as it is maily cardboard, but if you child is not too rough, it should be OK.

mom of 2yr old "little mommy"
i purchased this cradle and returned it a few days after. the box said "wicker" and the "wicker" was made of paper. the bottom of the cradle is cardboard. i thought about spraypainting it with an enamal paint for durability (because it is so cute) but decided to keep looking for a pretty, heirloom quality, toddler proof doll bed. such a shame, because this cradle is very pretty to look at, but kids under five can be so rough with toys without trying to be.

Great addition to the dollhouse.......
This is really cute. It doesn't look like alot but it really adds to the whole looke of the dollhouse. It is made to match the dollhouse and it comes with another Dora in a different outfit than the one with the dollhouse. With alot of kids wanting to play with the dollhouse and all the accessories you can never have too many Doras. It also includes a potting bench which has can be flipped so that Dora is planting either vegetables or flowers, a wheelbarrow and a big sun hat for dora to wear.
