Great for little hands
My daughter has more fun with them because they are easier to hold vs. the blocks.

Gotta Have Them
My daughter (22months) loves her peek a blocks and when she seen these we needed them. She loves to roll the hamster around the house, and kisses him. Even my 2 month old son likes to look at these and tries to grab them.

Fun little toys!
My daughter got the "Roll a rounds gumball machine" for a gift and I decided to get these to go with it.
They are very similar to the "Peek a blocks", clear shapes with little objects inside. But for us we like them better. They are easier to hold for chubby little hands and she really likes to roll them around the room. When they roll the objects inside move which is really fun. There is a cat, bunny, hamster, bird, dog and goldfish inside each one.
If your child likes the peek a blocks then I would definately reccomend these. Or if your child likes to roll things. ... Read more

Dumpety is great for kids, but loud for parents
My son loves this toy, however it is loud. But don't let that be a deterant for you. It's really cute. A word of advice though...the boulders are small enough to be put into little one's mouth's and they look a bit like a Dunkin' Donut munchkin. So as a parent who's been there, keep an eye on those boulders!! But overall my son who's going to be 2 has enjoyed this toy since December. And it's the first one out of the toybox!

GET IT CHEAPER
I bought this for half the cost shown here, at Big Lots. Little People, like most Fisher-Price toys, are fun, fun, fun, and extremely durable for the younger players.

The Best!
We bought this as a last minute purchase for my son's first birthday. Because of the price, we just couldn't pass it up. We also bought the cement mixer at the same time. My son just loves them both! He cannot walk into his playroom without playing with the boulders and pushing the trucks. Everything has a "place to be put away", but these trucks sit on the playtable because of how often they are used. It took him about 2 weeks before he could figure out how to put the boulders where they belong, but as soon as he did, he began clapping. He looked so proud, and it was truly a great moment for us as parents to see his accomplishment! Now he is a pro! If you are looking for something cheap and durable, this is a great purchase for a little boy!

heaps of fun and a giggle on the side
I bought this from the hopital gift shop for my four year old son to paly with while confined to bed on an Intravenous drip on a recent stay in hospital. He didn't play with it much and I thought that I had made a bad purchasing decision, even though we have a large selection of the Little People toys at home that he and his two year old baby sister (and even his thirteen year old big sister, but she'd never admit it) play with almost daily.
However, when we got it (and him) home from hospital, the situation changed, and the "BRRRRUM, BRRRUMMM" (the "Dumpety" character that is the truck actually speaks the sound) and backing signal echo around our house what seems like all day. It could be an annoying sound, only it always amuses me to hear the truck SAY "BRUM" instead of hearing a sample of a real truck engine noise. The tipping sound is a bit more disturbing, with the "crash tinkle tinkle" at the end, it has tricked me a couple of times.
I am not overly enamored with the two boulders that come with the truck (and indeed with the other items in the construction set), they are a menace to stand on, and I hate hollow things that can be crushed and/or fill up with water and grow mould. I am also always finding them in odd places around the house, neither of my two little ones seem to believe that they should go with the truck, or indeed in the Little People toybox at all! I think that children are quite resourceful enough to find something to put into the tip-tray to dump out again( mine are anyway! It's currently filled with whole peanuts...), the boulders were an unneccessary addition. ... Read more

I Can't Say Enough About This!
My son received this for his second birthday and we play with it every day. It is his absolute favorite toy. He has learned to draw faces and we use it to practice reading words. It can keep him occupied for quite a while (much longer than crayons and paper) and it's such a relief to have a toy that doesn't sing, flash and twirl. I think it's great that he's learning that it's not a big deal to make a mistake; he just slides the piece on the bottom and it's time to start over. The price is so reasonable...I plan on buying this as a gift for all future toddler parties!

Lot's of doodle fun!!!
My son got this doodle pro for his third birthday and he is still playing with it 2 years later! In fact his little sister who is 1 also loves to play and doodle with it! (it keeps them from writing on my walls!) The handy sliding draw on the side is perfect storage for the four shape magnets that come with it, we have not lost one yet! The magnets are an extra bonus to this toy as it adds more hours of creative fun! The screen is also VERY durable and erases without a problem. A wonderful toy to bring on your travels! Better without the string.
My son received this toy for his first birthday and fell in love with the noises immediately. Unfortunately, even though he is of average height, the string was too short for him to pull it while walking and he ended up picking it up and dumping the blocks when he tried. One quick snip later and he's in love with pushing it around.
My only less than perfect rating was for Educational Value. At a year, most kids already have the two basic concepts of this toy: dropping things into a hole & move it to make noise. The Peek-a-Blocks add a lot of fun and we're glad to expand our collection.

Very fun toy
The poppity elephant an excellent toy. Since it wasn't in the first wave a peek-a-block toys, fisher price really seemed to put a lot of thought into it and make it great. My 13 month old loves it. The blocks can be incorporated many ways (which wasn't true of the giraffe and ark - there was really only one intended way to use the blocks), the toy rolls, plays songs, and pops the blocks around. Plus, it plays several songs (and also has an off switch) so that you won't get sick of a certain song. Highly recommended!!!

Newest Peek-A-Block addition is loads of fun !
My son just received this for his first birthday, he had it figured out in no time and just loves it. He's not quite walking yet, when he is I'm sure he'll enjoy it even more.
He has the entire line of Peek-A-Blocks, I must praise Fisher-Price for creating such imaginitive and durable toys.

Great New Peek-a-Block Addition
Just got this for my daughter's 1st birthday. The elephant comes with 4 peek-a-blocks, a monkey spinning on a bar, a spinning coin with a seal on it, a clown who's spilled beads out of a jug, and a tiger on a spring jumping through a hoop.

Good at teaching cause and effect since it responds with music when pulled along (which is also how the 'poppity' effect works, and pops the block on top a quarter turn each time), and when blocks are dropped down the elephants trunk (which also triggers an elephant trumpeting sound).

Has 2 volume settings (neither of which is obnoxiously loud) and several 'circus' songs, so you won't get tired of hearing one over and over again.

Did have a slight problem with the first one we got - the included batteries seemed to be dead when we got it, worked on replacement for a day and then quit again. TRU exchanged it without problem and the 2nd has worked fine.

Boy is this toy annoying!
Any toy that makes music with no shut off is no toy that I want at home.While this is colorful and durable, it is hard to tell what the individual pop onz pieces are for.They aren't the kinds of components that a child can easily recognize and then utilize for pretend play.For instance there is some kind of piece that is supposed to represent a water barrel, but it looks so non descript that it is hard to identify how to play with it.The only quality that appealed to my daughter and her friends who played with it, was that it makes music when you touch it in the slightest manner.This is the very same quality that is annoying to the adult members of the household.This toy, thankfully we didn't purchase ourselves because we are selling it at our yard sale soon and we know that we will take a beating on the actual retail value.Oh well. ... Big Construction Fun for Little People
My son received this toy for Christmas and loved it! He enjoys stacking the blocks and naming the colors. adorable!!!
this set is sooo cute. i was planning to get my daughter the bigger little people home sweet home for christmas but she is 2.5 yrs already and i decided she may not get the play out of it so i just got her this little set. we are so happy with it, a little playhouse with doors that open and close, a swing that really works and a little baby stroller that has working wheels. maggie and sonia-lee look so sweet and can sit in their chairs and have tea. everything can be joined together with the help of the fence piece and you can arrange it in different ways. the quality of this toy is very high, bright colors, chubby plastic and lots of detail you can't see in the picture here. this set is the best and cutest ever! you will not be disappointed.

My introduction to Little People...
This was my 13 month old daughter's first Little People set. I had friends that raved about it so of course I couldn't allow my daughter to miss out on all the fun. I started with this set because it was inexpensive, if she liked it, I would get more.

So far, So Good. She loves this toy. The pieces are large so it's easy for her to get her tiny fingers around them. They are easy to clean and lots of fun.

My daughter loves to take the people and put them in their chairs or in the swing. She likes to cram everything she can into the house. She has been carrying the set all around the house. I play with her and she could play with these things for hours. I let her take the people and chairs into the bathtub and she loves it. We're going to get the larger house for Christmas. I wish I could give this item 6 stars, she loves it!

we love the Little People!
We have a small Little People collection but it is quickly growing! We love that this set is small, but still has many pieces to play with. I am not sure who loves to play with this more - my one year old or me!

Although my baby is has not yet mastered role-playing, she loves to put the girls in their seats, and in and out of the doors. Of course all the pieces are compatible with the other Little People collections, and they all connect together with the fence sections. All in all, the Little People collections truly grow with your child - not too many toys will hold your child's interest for years!

Little People are the best
Yet another winner, the best yet. It combines my daughter's two favorite activies - dress-up and little people. A wonderful toy for fostering the imagination. Durable enough to last through several children. I'm looking forward to my newborn 2nd daughter being able to enjoy playing with the little people and the colors being just as bright as they are now and the movable parts working just as well as brand new. Another Great Little People Set
We are huge fans of Little People in this house. This is another great set that can be played with on it's own or used in conjunction with any other set you have. This one in particular goes with Home Sweet Home house but the fence will attach to any other Little People fences you have.

My daughters 3 and 2 love the fact that his one has a swing so their Little People can play. Thye love the fact that they also have a cubby house to play in.

As with all Little People - easy to hold, easy to use, easy to clean and great fun to play with.

Geotrax Railside Farm Co. by Fisher Price
This is an excellent product.

It goes very well with the whole system. It hooks under the tracks like some of the other pieces.

In regards to the previous review (no harm intended), but I don't know of any trains that drive through farms.

Having the Freightway Transport Truck makes the farm even better. The side of the car pops open to let the hay into or out of the farm.

My 2 year old loves it. He has no problem working it.

Choo Choo Toot Toot!!

Fun, but a little awkward....
My son bought this for his birthday, and when i tried to put it together, the top did not snap on very easy. I had to wait until my husband came home, and even then, he had a hard time getting it to lock into place. I do not know if they are all like that, or if we just have a difficult one.

My son is 3, and the little handle that turns the conveyer belt is a little tight, and he has a bit of trouble getting the haybale to come out.

Like all of the Geo Trax accessories, you cannot drive your train thru the barn, a little disapointing to a little one, but really makes the set look nice. ... Read more

Great for the imagination
This toy is great for young children's imaginations and creativity. The story book is short and simple, perhaps by too much, but I guess that leaves more room for imaginary play. The pieces seem to be durable and my five year old has no difficulty putting the pieces together. She really enjoys making new animal creations out of them. The pieces are, however, tough for a just-turned-3 year old to put together. She still enjoys playing with the creations once they have been assembled.

Lots of fun in the bathroom
If you're looking for a fun little bathroom, this is it. The toilet seat lifts up, the medicine cabinet opens to reveal an assortment of items on the shelves (sticker). The cabinet below the sink also opens. It comes with a potty chair that also has a lid that opens. And the claw-footed tub with a hand-held shower head is cute. A Little People Favorite
This is a favorite toy at home. The recommended age doesn't make any difference to me. Any age that enjoys these sort of toys is appropriate such as myself-an 11 year old. This toy goes well with the city sets and other construction sets due to the little connection fence. I like it because it represents what goes on in the real world. Sometimes though, while putting it away, the noise goes off. Fisher Price has kept its name in durable and fun toys that educate kids.

Great product & video
This crane was a huge hit for my 19 month old daughter. It was the first thing she went to in the morning for weeks after receiving it from my uncle. It makes sounds and she enjoys dropping the balls through. Also comes with a free video that she really enjoys and the workers are girls. Great product!

Little People Fun
My daughters (aged 2 and 3) love Little People and they received this set as an Easter present. They have found it a great addition to their LIttle People collection.

As with all Little People sets - it's a complete playset on it's own or you can use it in conjunction with any other Little People sets you have. All the people are interchangable in the vehicles, seats and houses.

The girls love this crane and find it easy to use. As with all Little People it's easy to keep clean, hold, play with and is great fun.

Great addition
We bought this toy when my son was about a year old. I thought he would enjoy the sound effects, etc. We have several other little people sets and he enjoys playing with all of them. Great Toy!!!
I have had this for my daughter since she was about 3 months old. It has become her best friend, and we had to get another one, so she could have one at school to nap with. I think everyone with little ones should have one!

Great Fun!!
I first purchased the Winnie the Pooh Soft 'n Silly Tigger for my son when he was 4 months old. He is now 14 months and LOVES his Tigger. We now have 2 Tiggers, one as a back up, and he carries them everywhere he goes. It's a great toy for young children to sleep with, being soft and cuddly. Cute!
A friend of ours got this for our son and he loves it! It is SO SOFT and cushy! Very cute!

Do I love this donkey!
This Eeyore is my little one's favorite. She is the kind of baby who needs something to cuddle when she wants to sleep but the blanket is not first choice because she tends to pull it over her head. Eeyore is soft and cuddly, she can grab him, pull him over her head, chew on his ears or even use him as a pillow and I don't have to worry she might not be able to breathe.
But even when she's awake she just loves to play with Eeyore, he is just the right size for her little hands (she's 5 months by now) and so light she can easily move him around.
He's also very easy to wash, I have to clean him with some water and soap almost every day for my daughter will spit milk all over him or toss him on the floor (well, most of the time she does both) ;-) and he'll be just like new. The stains are easy to remove and the fabric won't suffer.

My 3 yr old loves it but.....
Granted that my 3 year old loves this toy, I have to say that the life jacket (that you can take on and off) is IMPOSSIBLE for a 3 or 5 year old to take off and on...it is a tight fit and you have to wrestle it on and off, moving Dora's arms up and down to wedge it on or off....what were they thinking?

Other then that, the Dora doll is well made.....The Boots part is nice too but it would have been nice if Boots had been made standing like Dora....makes it more "playable"..Boots always having to be floating in the innertube kinda dampers the many scenarios a 3 yr old could make up....half of the time she stands him on his feet so poor Boots is always hunched over carting an innertube on his back!

All in all, I'd say it is a good toy for the bath and beyond.....with some small faults that wouldn't keep me from recommending it.....

My daughter loves Dora
Great toy for the bath if your little one loves Dora and Boots. The toys aren't really educational but they sure make taking a bath for my little one fun.

Kids love it, but head leaks
My daughters, 2 and 4, received this doll as a gift, and immediately loved it. But after the first bath, Dora's head filled with water and won't drain.
I called the manufacturer's customer support line ... and the representative was very helpful. Dora's head is still full of water, but the company offered to send a voucher good on any Fisher Price product.
My advice is to keep the receipt on this toy, see if the head leaks, and if so, return in and exchange it. Call the company and tell them about it, so that they are aware of the problem.

Bath Time Made Better With Dora!
I bought this product because it combines two of my daughter's favorite things: her nightly baths and her love of Dora the Explorer. Thus far, it has been a major hit in our home.

My little girl loves to swim Dora around in her bath water, use Boots to squirt Mommy in the face, and just pretend with her favorite cartoon character. The doll comes with a vest, and swim fins that change colors in the water.

If you have a little Dora fan, I'd definitely recommend this item.

Cute but water will leak in
My daughter received this toy for her 2nd b-day. She loves Dora and loved this toy. However, there is a flaw and if I wasn't so lazy I would write the manufacturer. This toy leaks. Water immediately gets into Dora's head and because it is pretty well sealed (I'm sure to avoid this) the water does not come out. We've seen this before w/ bath toys and know that mold will grow quickly inside. We will have to throw this toy away - too bad. Perhaps this was only the one received? But I doubt it. ... Read more

Small toy, big fun!
My daughter loves going to the fair so I thought this would be a good gift and it was -- she LOVES it. We have a few of the sweet streets and they are great because they are a lot of fun for pretend play but they don't take up space. This by far is my four year olds favorite sweet street. My two year old also enjoys playing with it as well. And, they don't cost too much! I highly recommend.

One Of The Best Toys Available
My daughter has the whole collection and loves them more than any toy she owns. They are extremely durable and easy to put away. She spends hours creating her own town, playing with the little people and rearranging all the furniture. Her dad even enjoys this game! One of the best things about this series is that you can buy one or two (or collect the entire town) and it is still just as much fun. Every house comes with everything you need (nothing else to buy) and is an extremely good value for your money. Can't wait for them to make more!

So cute!!!
Our 7 year old daughter has nearly the entire collection of Sweet Streets. These high quality playsets are amazingly detailed and inspire hours of imaginative play. This particular playset "The Country Fair" is one of her favorites of the collection. We give it 5 stars across the board.

Absolutely Adorable!
I bought this country fair for my 4 yr. old daughter. She has almost all the Sweet Streets homes and stores excluding the hotel. She loves this one and never stops playing with it. It is the newest addition to the Sweet Streets Collection. Now, the people have somewhere to go for entertainment! LOL! The country fair comes complete with a horse and pig for competition for best in show! It has a trapeze and a trapeze artist. She really slides across too. There is a country fair man who sells the tickets or helps people on the rides. There is ride that spins and it has cups for the people to sit in. There is a balloon that detaches from the building for putting the people in for a ride in the sky. I know that I forgot something but I am sure that you get the idea. It folds nicely like the rest of the Sweet Streets Collection. Being that it has only a few pieces makes cleanup a breeze. This means less chances of pieces getting lost and very portable. My daughter loves the horse as does most girls at this age. She does have the other Sweet Streets people visit the fair. She went to a circus a couple of months ago and loves re-inacting her experience. I rated this as educational because it requires my daughter to use her imagination. My daughter has to play with her own creativity rather than listening to a battery operated toy telling her what to do not to mention, when the batteries die the fun stops! My daughter plays with her friends with this one in particular. This appears to be the favorite amongst her friends too.
