Great to keep in the kitchen for a careful child
This is a great kitchen for a careful child. Our daughter is that kind of child. I can see it not being good for some children, since it is a bit fragile. It is interesting that this company recommends it for age 5+, but it is very small. We do like it because it is small and fits under our kitchen island so that our daughter can pretend to cook when we cook. It works for us and our needs.

I really can not comment on the quality of this stove, but at Christmas time Amazon offered a Wood Stove at a bargain price of $59.99, the cheapest that I found it anywhere, it was red and white with turnable knobs and a "glass" window. It is very sturdy, has little slots in the sides so parents can easily carry it. It is heavy but not too heavy. The same company- Small World Toys manufactures it. My husband put it together in minutes and he said it was the best thing he ever assembled. Clear instructions, great quality. We bought the other pieces of the set at a local toy store for much more, but this was exceptional quality, it reminds me of the kitchen sets I played with in kindergarten years and years ago. My daughter is in heaven with the one we got for her.

wood stove not durable
We actually bought this wood stove at a close out at TJ Maxx...for 60$ Even for that price it is not worth it. The wood is weak and unstable. The string rope attached to the oven door which helps it open and close instantly broke off. The knobs broke off and the wooden shelves ended up cracking. Honestly it's a piece of junk, but my kids still like having their stove so they do play with it.

a simple fun toy - a little expensive
my (just turned) 4 year old really likes this flashlight. it has been used as a laser, homing beacon for our rescue heros, camping light, everything. it's too simple to be a "favorite" toy but it seems to play well with other toys. very durriable and the auto off feature is nice. I think they could have figured out a way to make it blink or do something else. No trouble with him turing it off by accident and no pinched fingers at our house. a little expensive.

Great flashlight!
I bought this flashlight for my 2 year old son and he loves it. It is easy for him to use. We love the fact that it turns off automatically. My son has had it for over a year and we haven't had any trouble with it. It is great!

flashlight you can't keep lit
We purchased this toy for our daughter and she had so much trouble with it. Every time she would shine it on something she would turn it off by hitting the off button that was RIGHT ON THE HANDLE where you are supposed to hold the flashlight. This the worst design of a toy I have seen yet and I see a lot! The toy companies should have children and mothers help design toys. I do not know why anyone would put an off switch on the only place tou can hold it, especially a child. Thank you for listening.

Order in bulk
My 3-year-old boy loves flashlights. This one solves the problems he's had with regular flashlights. With regular ones, he:

A) can't flip adult thumb switches to turn on or off,
B) doesn't turn them off & batteries run down, and
D) adult-sized flashlights are too heavy or difficult for toddler hands to handle safely.

- This one turns itself off progressively after a few minutes!
- It stands up by itself!
- The green button color teaches "on" and the red button "off."
- It delivers and he's never frustrated by working it.

An all-around great toddler gift, if you ask me. I'm buying a number of them, keeping them on hand for gifts through the year. It's a winner. (Never had a prob with pinching fingers in pivoting head.)

had to return it
We bought this at the brick-and-mortar store and had to return it. We planned to give it to our nearly 5-yr-old daughter for Christmas but when my husband opened it to put batteries in, he pinched his finger very hard in the moving flashlight head. If he could pinch it that hard, then my little girl's fingers could certainly get it worse. Seems like a good idea for a flaslight but the older style seems much better. ... Read more

Great fun for Children and Parents
My daughter as almost 2.5 and she LOVES this toy. First of all, Blues Clues is her FAVORITE show, so anything related to it is a winner, but the fact that this toy has so many uses makes it worth the money and then some. In the week since we received the toy we have used to blow bubbles (both inside the house and out!), play in the bathtub, and as "puppet" characters. I know come summer she will love to use it in her sandbox as well. Because there are 3 bubble blowers she can use it with her 2 best pals and they don't have to wait turns. This will probably be the most played with toy in our house this summer.

A good toy
I bought three of these for my 2 year old triplets. They LOVE blues clues! They played with the bubble feature all day on their birthday. Devin even slept with sand clawing tool that night because he was convinced "blue" gave him that present. I took it to the beach with them and another kid there tried to take them away cause he wanted a "bues cues" too. The face did wash off, which was frustrating, but I took my paints and painted a face back on. My kids don't know the difference, and I don't have to keep returning the product.

The face disappeared, but still a great toy!

My little girl won't go anywhere without it, so I would still highly recommend this toy!

Great toy, but faces fade
My daughter (age 23 months) loves this toy and it keeps her entertained for long periods of time. The sand toys have helped her with colors, and the paw print on the bottom of the pail is a great bonus. However, after just 2 days at the beach, Blue's nose wiped off and both shovel and pail's faces did the same. I am contacting the company in hopes of a replacement. ... Read more
