This product allows your child to sing along with any CD;

I repeat any CD!!!!

It says clearly in the booklet that you hook up your CD Player; which even includes the link cable
( Hmmmmm...how could that previous poster not have figured that out) LOLOLOL!

Anyway....it is one of the products from the
Barbie Company that I actually give five stars to.
I bought it for my Kids and they love it! Moms if your daughter is a Deva wanna be well...This is a great buy. Hint....wait until Christmas to save. I bought mine at Target during the Holiday Sales after Thanksgiving (...) This item is a must for slumber parties for your daughters. Five stars from this product reviewer.

A GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT
I bought this Karaoke VIDEO MAKER for my 5 yr old. She loves it!! Im glad that I didn't use the 1st review as a reference because if they had of read the name of the machine closer, NOWHERE in the title does it say CD Karaoke. Its a video/karaoke maker for young kids. Also, just because it is pink, doesn't make it Barbie, which it isn't. Its a great video/karaoke playing machine for young kids that works great & is easy to hook up. They can do it themselves & spend hours just dancing & singing along. Im real glad I bought this for my daughter.

NOT a CD player
I just received this and am sending it back unopened. First of all it is Barbie, although I didn't notice that on the site. But more importantly it doesn't play CD's. It just uses little Barbie specific music cartridges. Most Karaoke machines do both and I guess I just assumed that this was the same. If you want to listen to the same 8 songs forever that may be OK, but it isn't what we were looking for.

Serious Toy buyer
I have a seven year old ( very active ) daughter who is extremely energetic. She loves to dance and see herself in the mirror and pretend she's a singer. This is the best $80.00, I have spent so far, This music video maker is perfect to sing along with, dance and to make your own at home videos. A Real Musical Instrument, NOT a Toy!
My 2 year old saw this in BJs and kept asking for it, so Santa brought it for him for Christmas. I think it's a good first guitar. He loves to strum it, but he definitely needs to be supervised to teach him to respect that it is a special musical instrument, not a toy. So far he has sat on it and used it as a drum and it's held up fine, but I don't think it would hold up with such continued abuse. It is recommended for children much older than he is, so I can't expect anything different. I do wish they made a smaller version of it so it would be more comfortable for him. For a better price than I see at Amazon, you can get a small Hohner guitar at a music store, which might be better quality, I'm not sure. Regardless, I am very happy with this guitar and I would recommend it for any child who shows a real interest in music. I would not buy it for a child just as a toy, unless you don't mind it being destroyed. I am planning to buy the guitar strap and will review that when I get it. ... Read more

11 year old oldies LOVER
Do you want a good CD? Then get it. sure I listen to NSYNC & brittney spears but my Mom & Dad (now thats a differnt story) so I've grown up with theese songs in my life, so for my birthday my sister's boyfriend got me this CD. I LOVE IT.....

Party Tyme uses fake music
This brand uses synthesizers and drum machines instead of real guitars, horns, etc. Pretty bad stuff. I am a singer, not affiliated with any Karaoke vendor. I'm always looking for unique songs, and I demand good quality.

GREAT
Drumsticks are awesome. (...) great to use. Durability is good. Education comes out of this because when your playing Metallica thats educational. I recommend you buy these drumsticks.

Like hitting your drums with an actual stick
What can I say about Mark II except that they are the lowest quality I have ever seen? I own a set of Mark II drums that I bought brand new for about $250, a five-piece (the box said ten piece, because it counted every cymbal, the stand, and the pair of sticks as pieces) metallic red set with the worst crash and hi hat I'd ever heard.

At the time I had never been in contact with a good drum set, just the bad set our church used (also Mark II), so I didn't know that I had such a bad product, I just knew I was getting a full drum set for less than three hundred bucks.

The worst thing about the set, however, is the sticks. The Mark II sticks the set came with were nothing short of horrible. Instead of the nice pressed hickory sticks I use now, these things were made of some kind of very soft wood. The result? The already crappy Mark II crash cymbal made almost no sound at all when it was hit, and the wood itself began to break down and leave big white marks on the drum heads.

Word of advice to drummers: If you want nice, affordable drum accessories and sets, go to ebay. Just don't buy Mark II. ... Read more
