J.C. joy
My son is only 2 years old and he loves his motorcycle. This toy was the only thing that came close to being like a real motorcycle. The only complaint was that one of the back motors went bad, but so far the company has been working with me to get it replaced. My son has learned how to steer and how to control the bike very well. J.C. loves his kawasaki!!!
Thank you power wheels we hope to see a different model next year!!

Correction (...)
(...) Those side wheels are where the motors are connected. The regular front and back motorcycle wheels do not have motors on them. The plastic side wheels will wear quickly. There is a guy on ebay that sells rubber slip-ons to give these power wheel toys more traction. Definitely recommend. As far as complexity of assembly. This was one of the easier to assemble products I've done. Took an hour at the most. Some of the Cap nuts are a little challengine to hammer. I would recommend a couple of bricks or pieces of wood for backing up one end while hammering the other.

Tip: The battery charger comes stored under the seat when first purchased. I thought mine was missing when I opened the box.

my 2 year old loves this
I bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old son and he loves it. This is really a nice built toy. Putting this together is of med difficulty, I suggest doing it at night for your kids will want to ride it when it is done, but you'll need to charge the battery. If its dark out the will be more likely to understand why they can't ride it yet. The battery needs to charge 14-16 hours right out of the box and after every use(says the instructions). I charge it almost every night for my son rides every day. We have had it over a month and he still lights up when he gets on it. The only thing you will have to really teach your kids is to get on from the side the peddle is not on. My son got on the other side once and it took off and he stayed put.It scared him good and I then made sure he only gets on the other side(it took a day of reminders). This bike goes pretty fast on the high speed setting, fast enough where I have to walk really fast to keep up. I put the high speed on right from the start. There is a throttle that controls the high speed and the foot is the low speed. The foot needs to be pressed in order for the throttle to activate the high speed and my 2yr old picked this up instantly. He only drives fast so I bought a dirtbike helmut like daddy's for him to wear.Overall this is the best money spent in his 2 1/2 years. I mean that. When he first rode this he had tears of joy in his eyes. I felt like the best dad in the world.Buy your kid this toy if he loves dirtbikes. You will not be disappointed.

BEST PURCHASE YET!!!!
My son is 34months old (not quite 3) and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this "dirt bike". He rides it everyday and we keep an extra battery on charge at all times, which works out perfectly. He figured out the hand throttle without even being shown, and has started to do "tricks". Several neighbors have stopped to watch him zing around the yard and comment on how amazingly cute it is. Educational? You bet - teaches coordination, care of owning something, etc.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANY MOTORCYCLE LOVING KID!!!

Favorite toy!
This birthday present is a -huge- success for 3yr old son. Have had this for over a month now and is still by far his favorite. Each time he jumps on this I'm impressed at the style and quality of this cycle. Was very skeptical that he would have a control issue and I'd be involved w/full-time supervision. Not the case. Since controls are so easy and it's got a handle bar vs a steering wheel he controls this with ease. The neighbors jeep ride-on toys are much harder to control because of small steering wheel, poor turning radius and child is confined inside vehicle. This is so durable my wife even jumps on this thing and takes it around the cul-de-sac. My double-car garage is packed with various toys and this is by far the favorite. Bikes, pedal tractors, trikes all take back burner to this. I would shop no further and buy this Kawasaki at any price. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Well made toy
This is a very sturdy toy, but it pushes the age rating. Even though it's rated for 1 year olds, my son can't reach the ground because the seat is wide (he's average height). Even so, it's a fun toy and he enjoys being pushed on it.

5-0 out of 5 stars My son loves his first motorcycle
My son always motorcyclesince I got my motorcycle last summer he is only 1-1/2 yr old but able to roll down from my driveway just like I do with my motorcycle. I also ride this litter motorcycle with my son with my legs up rolling down my fdriveway and guess what............. I did recall my childhood withought my motorcycle. Everybody happy in my family after getting motorcycle

5-0 out of 5 stars I LIKE THIS BIKE!
I decided to purchase this bike despite negative reviews. You have to know your kid before you buy this, my son is two and would not recommend this to any younger child. Although he did fall off a few times he got right back on till he got the hang of it. It's a light toy so the childs weight could be a factor in children falling off. If you ride or your spouse rides I think it's a great first motorcycle for a kid to practice.........

5-0 out of 5 stars This baby flies!!
Our dare devils LOVE their motorcycles!! We ordered two, one for our 2 yr old and one for our 3 yr old. They both have a blast racing up and down our driveway. This toy flies, and goes much faster downhill than any toy we have had. We have not had an issue with stability as stated in other reviews. It is important to consider toys for children, not always by age, but individual development. Great toy, thanks step 2!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Buy
I bought this Motorcycle for my cousin's little guy for his second birthday. Him and his older brother, 5, absolutely love it. They are always fighting over it. Even when the 5 year olds friends come over it's all they want ot play with. It was sturdy enough for a clumsy 2 year old. He has horrible balance and still able to stay on it. The only thing I have to say is... If you have more than one child... You may want more than one Motorcycle. ... Read more

Teacher Review

A traditionally styled wooden rocking horse isn't for everyone. Somekids prefer a rocking-red Harley-Davidson motorcycle. This well-built rockingtoy has traditional wood rockers on the bottom and a wooden Harley on top takingthe place of the horse. It's made with a long wooden body piece with severalbolted-on, smaller, flat wood pieces, and a wooden seat and handles. Themotorcycle is painted in red, black, and gray, with lots of authentic detailssuch as the Harley-Davidson logo. The natural wood rockers have sporty redstripes and the Harley-Davidson name along the bottom. This sturdy and safemotorcycle will satisfy little ones who are too young to ride a real Harley, andparents who are serious Harley-Davidson fans will find this interestingcombination of the old and new hard to resist. --Marcie Bovetz, mother andformer children's librarian ... H-D Rocking Red Mortorcycle a BIG hit with 19 month Grandson
I purchased the Harley-Davidson Rocking Red Motorcycle by Kidkraft from Imaginarium through Amazon.com for my 19 month old grandson for Christmas and he LOVES it! Product was exactly as described and the purchase and shipping went flawlessly. Excellent quality product, fair price and outstanding service from Amazon.com. Happy customer gives you a 5-star rating!

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice toy for the motorcycle enthusiast!
My son was born with a love for motorcycles and this toy was the perfect gift for him. He loves to ride it and make motorcycle noises(provided by him of course). The bike's construction is very good. It is all wood and handpainted which I think looks very nice. It also was not too difficult to assemble. I would recommend this for small children not the up to 8 years old that is listed in the age category.
