How can it be fun when it breaks so easily!?!?!?
Santa Clause brought this drum set to my 4 year old son for Christmas last year. He has a natural love and talent for music, Santa must have thought the drum set would be great. The seat is so unstable that no one, not even a 4 year can sit on it. The plastic that hold the top drums on snaped in a matter of days, the symbol was made so cheaply that it bent right away, just from the drum sticks and the cardboard just doesn't hold up. We just ordered a First Act drum set (the real thing for little people) for our sons birthday. Ofcourse it is more money but it will be worth it to get a quality product!

I would not buy this toy!!
I purchased this toy for my son last christmas we had it out of the box for about 15 minutes when the small drum broke off of the drum set. I had purchased 3 more for family members and we ended up returning all of them to the store. The drums are connected by very cheap plastic and break very easily.

Fun(...)
This toy was freakin awsome!!!!! I'm not too sure how durable this is cuz i only played it in the store with my band and their toy instruments 4 like only 15 min as a joke until we got kicked out. But it stayed in 1 peice except 4 the cymbal which fell off after i tried kickin it down--But it was fun!!!!

I got this drum set for my 5 year old for xmas and the plastic is falling off and the metel drum fell first and then the small drums fell of. I would recommed that nobody buys this drum set.

A Fun Toy for Kids
We purchased this for a two year old girl who has been fascinated by our electronic piano and knows how to press buttons to make different sounds (and turn up the volume!), so we thought she might enjoy her own keyboard. She does.

Two major advantages are that it plays only one note at a time and has no volume control - kids cannot bang several keys or turn up the volume.

A big surprise is that her 5 year old cousin found the booklet and began reading the notes (labeled by number in the booklet and on the keyboard). She was delighted that she could play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" within a few minutes. She will get this gift for her birthday next month!

While the younger child loves the drum key, hearing the dozen sample tunes that are programmed in and playing the keys, the older one is actually learning tunes.

I recommend this as a very affordable way to introduce a precocious 2 year old to the keyboard, and definitely recommend it for 5-6 year olds. This is a cute item - and if it does break (it looks durable, but it's too new to predict) or the child loses interest, you haven't lost a lot of money. Good piano but the stool breaks easily
I bought this last Christmas for my three year old and five year old. Thesound of the piano is a little off, but all in all the piano is nice for the price. The leg of the stool breaks very easily. Don't buy unless you can fix.

Good product for the price!
My wife and I knew we wanted to get a toy piano for our little girl, and struggled somewhat with what brand and price range to stick with. I'm glad to have come across this little jewel! Our girl, though only one year old now, plays with it frequently, and likes to hear other people play it. When she's hiding somewhere or getting into mischief, I'll just hit a few keys and she'll come crawling out of wherever she was hiding to join me.

Keep in mind this is a *TOY* piano--don't expect a grand piano sound out of a toy. This utilizes small metal rods of varying lengths in the interior of the instrument to produce the sound, which is a clear, pleasant tinkling; much like a windchime. One note was a bit sour, but I solved this by removing the top cover (4 screws), and adjusting the appropriate metal rod. These slide back and forth with gentle pressure, so it is possible to tune the instrument perfectly. The legs of the piano and stool can loosen over time, but you can easily solve this with a couple drops of loc-tite solution.

There are more well-known name brands and better workmanship out there, but I'm glad not to have spent more than was necessary for a decent quality instrument.

Sound is not very good
My 2 year old son got this for Christmas last year and was initially very excited because he loves music. However the piano has a very tinny sound and doesn't even come close to a real piano sound. Also the stool and piano legs have to be tightened often and can come off quite easily. ... Read more
