Excellent choice for all age groups
We bought this for our son when he was 2 years old and now he's 5 and won't use any other swing set. I thought he would like a wooden one that was bigger, but he gets so much enjoyment from this one and it's durable, was easy to assemble (even for my husband) and he gets hours of enjoyment from it. We did anchor it into the ground because I was afraid it would tip over as he got older, but it works just fine and we're all happy, even mom!

A Problem for Shorter Children
We bought this playset this week for our 16 month old son and he played on it for the first time tonight. He is short for his age and the smaller slide does not have any steps to aide kids in climbing up or down so he fell off and busted his lip. He loves the playset and as soon as we got the bleeding to stop, he got back on and began playing again, but I do feel that an optional step or two that could be snapped onto the smaller slide, since it is obviously for younger children, would have been a good idea.

He loves it !!!
WE bought this for our 19 month old son after lots and lots of searching. We are very happy with it, our son loves it. He can not wai to get outside to play on it. It is the perfect size for the 1 1/2 year old age group. It's big enough to keep them happy and yet small enough to keep them safe. It was not difficult to put together either. It took us about 3 hours to put it all together.

Grand daughter loves it.
I picked it up at Toysrus I was helped to tie two large boxes on top of car. The next day it took me about 3 hours to set up including the anchors.With 2 children swinging it did not raise or walk.I think it is built well enough not to need them.As for review where someone claimed he had 2 engineers help and it took all day I think his problem was the engineers. Found directions simple and just fine.My grand daughter loves it she is two&half years old and said thank you PaPa for buying me my own park.Thanks Little Tikes for another fine toy.

What a disappointment!!
For 2 years I was against getting a sandbox. But then I saw this one and agreed to let my son have it for his 4th birthday. I just knew what a hit it would be since my two boys (4 & 2) just love playing construction site in the dirt. I should have stuck with my first instinct. The lid doesn't fit well, so needless to say there is often rain water in it- which is a breeding ground for mold, algae, and mosquitos. The digger is also awkward to use. I spend more time removing the water and wet sand than the amount of time my kids actually get to play with it. This toy has real potential but with the poor design it is a waste of money.

AWEFUL AWEFUL AWEFUL!!!
I hate to repeat all the other reviews. The concept is great with the scoop and dumper BUT it doesn't just leak, it FILLS with water!!! The mold is absolutely disgusting, not to mention a health hazard to kids. I called little tikes several times and spoke with several different customer service reps and supervisors. Originally, they would only give me replacement toys (EXCLUDING OTHER SANDBOXES) worth the purchase price of the sandbox. The replacement toys not only COULDN'T be sandboxes, but they also couldn't be larger "truck ship" toys. After much complaining, they finally agreed to replace the sanbox with their dinosaur sandbox as well as other toys of my choice totalling the original purchase price. Little Tikes' response/explanation, "The construction sandbox is only designed to keep out animals and debris, not water". HOW RIDICULOUS! If I wanted wet sand, I would take my son to the beach!

We love it.
My 2 1/2 year old son and I love it. It's a lot of fun. The excavator scoop is a little hard to use but, beyond that... this is a sensational product. Easy assembly too. I highly recommend it.

Would be fun, but rain leaks in
Poor design allows rain to leak in around the edges so although my 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter love it, they've only been able to play with it twice in a month. It takes 5 - 6 fifty pound bags of sand - and that doesn't dry out quickly. You have to put it someplace where it will always be out of the rain - and since its BIG, and too heavy to move much - that's not easy. Fun, but not flexible and not useable most of the time.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
My business partner and I purchased this sandbox for our small pre-school. Alright..we admit it, we were dazzled by that cool crane...however, it is incredibly difficult to use. The kids spend more time sitting on it than digging with it. The cover does not do anything to keep water out, although it has provided us with a lovely science project as the kids have been able to see the sand turn a variety of colors from the algae and mold growing in it!(Hence the high rating for educational value!:)
A phone call to Little Tykes proved a waste of time and energy! Thank God for the reasonable people at Toys r Us in Bellingham, Ma. who helped us out!
Again....DO NOT BUY THIS.....a far better value and product is the Step 2 sandbox. It looks like natural stone, has 4 seats and keeps the water OUT!!! ... Read more

Excellent Swing
I know it is a little more expensive than other swings, but this is an excellent swing. It is very comfortable, and the rope means no pinches. Every child must have a swing
Both of my children have grown up with this swing in our backyard. Tied to a strong tree, the kids will spend countless hours enjoying this classic disc swing. I am buying my third swing because I never have the heart to take the swing down from the tree when we move and my four year old wants her swing back. We have come to Amazon together and she is able to choose which swing she would like and this is the one she wants.

Great Swing
We have had this swing in our tree for 4-5 years. The rope finally wore out and I am definitely replacing it. Of all the toys I have ever purchased this was the best one ever. My son swings in it nearly every day (all year round)and I know every child in my neighborhood as been on it at least once!!!!

watch out with long hair!
We really enjoyed this swing but one word of caution. My daughter has very long hair. She likes to twirl on the swing but once her hair was caught by the rope. We had to cut off a good 6 inches to free her from this toy. Keep your little ones hair tied back and it will be a lot more fun!

Hurts the hands be ready to replace the rope
The disc portion itself is very durable, but the rope is so rough for little hands and some of the children in our area that tried this out could not balance themselves on it and went back to their "old fashioned" swing.

Overall if I had to choose to purchase this or an "old fashioned" swing, the old fashioned swing wins hands down.

Swing-a-rama!
This is a great, inexpensive disc swing that has brought hours of entertainment for my girls, 8 & 3. Not to mention that it is the most popular item in the backyard when the guest arrive! We've had it up for about 19 months and it still looks as new as the day we first hung it from the tree. Wish I could say the same for the tree! =0) ... Read more

Pretty set to look at, hard to use.
My son is 19 months old. He had a "cheap" set of clubs that he could swing well and he connected with the ball every time, like a little pro. But this "cheap" set fell apart so we thought we would get a better, more expensive set because he plays golf practically all day. We got this set and have quickly discovered that he has a difficult time using the set. The clubs are too heavy and the rubber on the ends of them skid against the floor making it difficult for him to swing properly to connect with the ball. Not the best set. Pretty, but not functional. Now we are going to have to spend more money to buy a new set so he can continue to improve his game.

20 month old son Loves it
Simply put - my son loves this toy even at 20 months old. My golf nut husband thinks this is great. He can actually swing the club and occassionally hit the ball. I am sure he'll be at the driving range this summer! Watch out Tiger! ... Read more

Great Product but Unsteady for 2 year old
My 2 1/2 year old tried to used this swing yesterday for the first time. She immediately flipped backwards. For some reason it's very hard for her to balance herself on this seat.

strong durable seat....
this came standard with the little tikes swingset(wich is a great buy) I t is a very sturdy swing but I would say it is for ages four and up because my daughter who is a very light-weight three year old little thing often slips off the plastic swing I would highly recommend this for an older child ... Flimsy sandbox
My boys thought that a treasure chest sandbox was a cool idea, being into the pirate theme. Thankfully I purchased this sandbox in-store, because I returned it the very same day.I didn't even fill it with sand before I realized it was a cheaply made toy.The plastic is thin and was bent or warped in a few places.The lid wouldn't fit on correctly, even if it wasn't bent at some of the edges it wouldn't have been a good, secure fit.I was surprised that Little Tikes would make something so flimsy.I exchanged it for the Step 2 Naturally Playful Sandbox, which is sturdier and the lid works much better.Spend the extra $10 for a sandbox that is higher quality. ...
