Poney and Friend
I bought this for my son's first birthday. He Just loves his poney. He hugged it the minute I took it out of the box. He touches its mouth when it talks and he loves to climb on it and rock. He learned how to make it sing immediately and now he always gets on the poney and presses the ear to make it sing and he rocks happily. Sometimes if I start singing the poney song, he'll walk over to it and hop on and start rocking. It is a big, big hit! It took me a while to get the horse, since it kept selling out, but it was worth the wait.

Very Cute!
We bought this horse for our sons 1st birthday and are a little disappointed that he seems afraid when we put him on it. I think it may be due to the fact that he is not yet walking and can't climb on or off by himself yet. He does however love the music it plays. I think when he gets a little older and more coordinated he will love this. The only thing that is a little misleading is the "cowboy" hat that comes with it. It is a hard red plastic hat that looks like more like a cross between a hardhat and a baseball cap. I guess because they put a sticker of a cowboy on the front they can get away with calling it a cowboy hat. That wouldn't be so bad if the hat weren't so big that it only fits an adult sized head. Basically the hat is useless, but the horse is a cute gift! Definitely recommended.

Great 1st Birthday Gift
My son received this as a gift from my parents for his first birthday. It easily converts from the rocking horse to the ride-on horse. He wasn't able to reach the floor but still loved to be pushed in our living room and up and down the hallway. This ride is the perfect size for a little one, not overwhelmingly large. It rolls easily front and backwards, so that when he was able to touch the ground he could push himself. The only thing that has aggravated me is the motor in the mouth of the horse makes a grinding noise. My son loves the son the songs and he is able to push and play the music independently.

Excellent riding toy
Our daughter received this as a Christmas gift last year (at the time she was 7 months old and needed help sitting on it by herself). She loves the cute song and snort/whinies that come from it when she squeezes the ears. Now that she is 18 months, she enjoys it more...even though her feet still cannot reach the ground. Definitely a great toy for pictures.
Also like the fact that the wheels fold upwards to change the pony into a rocker. Soft and cuddly...a great addition to anyone's toy collection.

Ball pit
We purchased this item for our Grandson after seeing a different type at someone's house and could not find that particular one. It was a ballpit with palm trees on it and had a good base to it and plenty of room inside with holes to get out etc. Because we couldn't find that one we bought this one and are pretty disappointed in it after being very excited to see our Grandson play in it. He does but it is very tipsy and the balls all role out of the back because there is not anthing but a small blown up edge to keep them in. The other ball pit we had wanted was fully enclosed so the balls stayed put - unless they were thrown out or fell out the holes. We thought about putting in more balls but I don't think it would hold them very well. After purchasing this on the East Coast when we live on the West Coast (where we couldn't find them) we are not as happy with this style at all.

KIDS LOVE, PARENTS DON'T
MY SON RECIEVED THIS ITEM FOR HIS B-DAY AND WE DO HAVE A NICE SIZE PLAYROOM BUT I DON'T LIKE THE FACT THE BALLPIT DOES NOT HAVE A INFLATED BOTTOM AND THE BALLS DON'T STAY INSIDE BECAUSE THE SIDES ARE DOWN SO LOW! WE ARE CONSTANTLY PICKING THEM UP! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Its a wonderful toy for my little girl
just loves to pretend so is going somewhere it great she spend lot of time with this toy and for me and my husband its been graet all little girls and boys should have one for them self

Fun, but not safe
My parents bought this school bus for my daughter's birthday present. She loves to play in it, but it is not safe.
There must not be enough weight in the bottom to hold it down because if she so much as leans on the side, it turns over with her...

poor quality product

A Super Starter Sandbox
Most of my friends own this sandbox, so I'm very familiar with its advantages and disadvantages. As sandboxes go, Little Tykes are the best because they hold up well through much use and outside weather. The turtle sandbox is a nice starter sandbox for any toddler. It does a good job of keeping the rain out and the domed lid allows room for the toys to stay inside.

I would mention though that they also make a little bit larger and nicer version of this sandbox that is shaped like a dinosaur. The dinosaur version holds twice as much sand and the dinosaur's feet serve as handy little stools for the kids or adults to sit on. The larger version fits three to four toddlers nicely while the turtle only has room for two at most.

When we purchased a sandbox, we chose the dinosaur for those reasons, and I mention this as just something to consider when researching sandboxes. Either one may be the right choice for you depending upon your budget and preferences. Both sandboxes are great--you can't lose either way.

A great sandbox for a small area
This sandbox is perfect when you only have a very small yard, or balcony or deck for your children to play (or maybe at a grandparents house for those visits).

Only two toddlers fit in it at once if they want room to play but often my children sit on the outside of it and use it for sandplay rather than sitting in it. They seem to enjoy this just as much as if they were sitting in the sand themselves.

The lid is great to keep the sand clean and keep out the neighbourhood cats! I've found only on really windy days will the lid ever flip off. If we know a storm is coming we often just put a brick or something on top to hold it in place until the storm has past.

The lid is easy for my toddlers to remove on their own and has stood the test of time with kids jumping all over and bein out in the weather.

I like these plastic sandboxes as well as you can easily wash them down and if you are moving house you can simply empty it and take it with you.

A great little sandbox for a family that has a small space or is on the move.

Another Little Tikes Classic
I had this and the Little Tikes cozy Coupe Car as a child and now I am the mother of three small children, we still have the turtle sandbox from when I was a child and the Coupe Car is at Grandma's (I wanted to get each of the babies a car of their own for their first Christmas). Both are in great shape and the babies love them. The sandbox is a small one but they sit around the edge so all three can play together. I am sure we will hold on to all of these items, who knew that the crib was not the only keepsakes and parent to child hand me downs!

Max the Turtle
I use to be a pre-school teacher and the Turtle Sandbox was an excellant part of our family. Out of all the toys my son had, Max the turtle was the most versatile and long lasting. Max was able to go wherever we moved, Out in the country or in town on a balcony of an apartment. Max the turtle lived w/ us from before my son was 1 1/2 years old till he was about 8 years old.
The Turtle Sandbox cover was great because it kept out any unwanted animal critters, we also used it for water play and cornmeal play. I highly reccommend children to have a max the turle! My son is now 18.

Wow, great wagon for great price
This is a great wagon. My daughter loves to be pulled around in it. I didn't give 5 stars for educational value because it is a WAGON. But she learned from it how to push and pull, and also how to climb in and out on her own... so I had to give it that. The Storage Drawer / Cooler built in the underside is wonderful. When we go to Hersheypark the drawer doubles as the diaper bag so we don't have to carry the bag around with us. Also with the handle folding underneath it makes it very easy to put into the back of my Escape or the trunk of my wife's Accord. The drawer has a little catch molded into it so little fingers can't open it that easily. The Dura-ride tires are quiet for a wagon.
