Misrepresentation
This toy does not specify that you have to blow it up for starters. Once you finally exhaust yourself and take it outside, it collapses due to the cold weather. It is more for indoor use. nice sandbox but the cover is not too sturdy and .......
My son enjoys the sandbox but the cover is not too sturdy for a toddler who wants to walk over the bridge. I also don't like all the nooks and cranies of the castle wall since it makes cleaning up sand that has gotten out of the center of the sandbox almost impossible to clean out.

Fun in the sand!
I purchased this sandbox for my 2 year old daughter and 3 year old son. They both love it!!!! The only thing I don't like about this sandbox is the lid is somewhat flimsy and they constantly try walking on it and it is starting to cave in a bit. The lid does fit nicely on the sandbox though. Very cute sandbox.

great sandbox
I originally tried to get the turtle sandbox but we ended up with the castle one. It is a great sandbox. My 18 month old likes the curves in the castle part, it enables water to flow around the edges a bit, but she is too young to understand what a castle is. The sandbox lid is fitted very well to the box, it does not leak, although it is on the back porch so it does not get direct rain. I have never even found bugs in it. It is a good size for her. Hours of Fun!!
This is the most played with toy in our house. The tunnels and cubes give it limitless possibilities. The ball pit is the biggest hit with the kids and with us, also. The "door" to the ball pit zips shut to keep them all in. As with most items that have ball pit balls, there are not enough included but we added a box of 100 balls and it was perfect for the kids. We have children ranging in ages from 10 months to 10 years and they all play with this toy. The older kids enjoy shooting hoops with the balls and chasing the younger ones through the tunnels. The younger children seem to enjoy the ball pit and tunnels the best. Whenever anyone comes over to our house, this is the first toy they go to in the playroom! The best thing about it, though, is that we can easily pop it down for when we need to move it. We recently painted the playroom and it was the easiest thing to move in there. We have had other playhuts in the past and they all last a long time and through many children. Much better than plastic or inflatable models. Well worth the money for the use you will get from it.

Best Durable tent!
This tent is one of the most durable tents out there! My 2 year old boy loves it! I have bought many tents in the past and most just collapse. This one doesnt because it has anchors on the bottom and a very strong frame. It doesnt take up much room either! Advice: buy 2 boxes of balls because it comes with a very small amount. Another great thing about it isthat i can leave him there for up to 15 minutes without having to worry. Its very educational because it teaches kids organization. Mine is very adamant about keeping things where they bellong inside. Balls in ball room, nap area in another, and toys in the other.

Not Only for the 3-7 Ages
Just recieved my daughters Mega Tent this morning and had a hard time getting her out of it for bedtime! I have more balls on order and waiting to recieve, because it DOES need more to have the real "ball room" effect..50 doesn't cut it. My daughter is going to be 21 months and she's having a ball with this. I even took the tents and separted them into different rooms and one outside since it is too big for our livingroom put all together. And I attached them all together in a straight line so it WOULD fit one of the rooms we have and it worked out fine. I only wish that the two smaller tents had the plastic lining on the flooring like the biggest one does, so she couldn't crawl out from the bottom and get tangled in it when it tips over or the balls wouldn't escape if I put them in one of them. So much fun, I haven't been able to put it back in the bags they come with..so I don't know how hard it is to fold back up yet..but the instructions look easy enough. Thanks!

I am amazed
I was pretty sure this was what I wanted to get my daughter for her 2nd birthday, but I was totally amazed when I brought it home. It came in a relatively small box, and with out the balls it would fit into a box that is only 3 inches thick. This is very easy to assemble. I think it took me a total of 5 minutes, and there are a bunch of different configurations you can put it in. My daughter, husband and I can all fit, although going through the tunnels is a squeeze. We have a blast. One thing I recommend is getting another 100 balls. It adds to the fun!

My kids love it...
.. and my kids are not children, but ferrets! Many ferret owners have discussed with others the fun a ferret can have in a ball-pit, but since their claws will break them, people tend to use cardboard boxes with plastic eggs or ball-pit balls. No such issues with this toy! And of course, my neices are hideously jealous of it..

.. it is very easy to break down flat; looping it into the bags *feels* funny because it feels like you're going to break something, but eventually with enough pressure it twists instantly into the right shape to fit into the bags. Honestly I don't think there is any way for anything in it to break - I've had nine hyper animals climbing all over it nails and all and it's held up for months now; not to mention that at night, when the ferrets are tucked away in their cages, the cats decide it is now their toy and use as a staging ground to leap on one another. ... good but caution
The bounce round is great for the kids. They love it. Now that I have mentioned that. The kids told me there was a hole in it. By the way my Daugther got it last year for her 7th Birthday. This year I got it out and set it up in the backyuard. After connecting thwe pump, proceeded to inflate bounce round. on one of the stacks I found the hole the kids told me about. Now the manufacturer says the vinyl floor of the bounce round is extra sturdy, They fail to mention that the other material for the bounce round is very easy to puncture. right were the seam of the bottom of the one stack and the floor come together I have about a 4 inch tear.I dont think it can be repaired. I just thought everyone should know.Itas a great product but its not as tuff as they make it sound

Pros and Cons
I purchased this item from the local Toysrus for my 3 year old daughter. Here is the pro and cons:

Pros:
My daughter loved it especially for the fist time she played in it. She loves jumping in it and is great to use in a house when it is rainy outside and nothing much other things to do.

It inflates/deflates quickly so that it is very convenient to set it up or put it aside.

It has a secure net and is very safe especially if a kid plays alone in the Bouncy Round. (If you let 2 or more kids play at the same time in it, it will be more fun, but they could hit their head each other, so you should watch out)

Cons:
I was expecting that I could turn off the air pomp after finish inflating it, but actually you have to keep it running during the kids playing in it. The motor is loud as a vacuum cleaner.
This could be why the store strongly recommended to purchase the Extended Warranty.

My kid has been quickly losing her interest in this Bouncy Round, even though we just purchased it only about 2 weeks ago and used only for about several times.She has never been board with a $30-tricycle, though.

Watch out for the return policy of the store. Local store of Toysrus has a return policy for this item is that "Once the box is opened, the store could refuse the refund."

This is a Crowd Pleaser
We really enjoy the Bounce 'round.My daughter, her friends and cousins have spent hours bouncing around inside of this thing.It is also something you can use in the house (basement or on slab)Hours and hours of fun.

VERY PLEASED
I am very please with this Bounce 'Round. We got it for our son's 4 year birthday.He has learned to do flips and I don't freak out because it's safe (we never leave him unattended!!)My husband loves it too.I recommend this product to all people who have a toddler that is active.

Best present ever for my 3 yr old!!
After researching moon walks for my 3 yr old's birthday party, I came across the Bounce Round. What a great deal! Why rent when you can buy? We had 4 (under 40 lb)3 year olds bouncing together--nobody wanted to get out. We also purchased the 100 soft plastic balls to toss in. The kids had a blast.We'veset up the Bounce Round both indoors in our playroom, and outdoors in the grass...the fan is a bit loud indoors, but the kids don't seem to mind.I have set up the bouncer by myself without any trouble. It truely inflates in less than 45 seconds, and deflates almost as quickly.We love it! I will say that it's a bit large to stuff in the storage bag that comes with it, so I just fold it up and store it in the original box--easy and compact. A leading family magazine ranked this toy as a "must have" last year, and I couldn't agree more! P.S. Plains Hideaway is great.
When I first looked at this tent, I thought about how much fun it might be for my grand daughter, then I considered the price. Well, it turns out it was well worth the money. All of my grandchildren and the neighborhood children love it. My grand daughter decided to bring it inside for awhile, set it up in her room and now she sleeps in it every night! It was a good choice.

Better than any plastic fort !
We bought the tepee because we were sick of looking at all the bright plastic toys in the house. We have three boys who love it, ranging in age from 3-9. Everytime someone under 12 enters our house they head for the tepee. It is always a conversation piece for the adults. My three year old "sneaks" in to take a break from his brothers and catch a nap. Very Pleased.
We love it.A 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl.What a blessing.I dont have to pick up the couch cushions and sheets and blankets any more.I am the mother and I put it up by myself easily.Probally took about 15 minutes.I think its as sturdy as a tent can be.I was thinking of buying a playhouse,they are so expensive.With this they can have it inside too.

Not up to par
There is no doubt the castle is a superb hit (twin boys, age 4), who absolutely loved it. However, it is extremely difficult & frustrating to assemble. Assembly could be much easier, but the instructions are essentially useless, and I still believe the correct assortment of tent poles was not provided (the instructions say there are 3 types of tent poles; the correct number is 5 types, and the numbers of each type provided did not match the number of spaces for each type of pole). The sleeves for the tent poles are well hiddent, and it took a super sleuth to find them. Set plenty of time aside for assembly. ... Read more

A Super Starter Sandbox
Most of my friends own this sandbox, so I'm very familiar with its advantages and disadvantages. As sandboxes go, Little Tykes are the best because they hold up well through much use and outside weather. The turtle sandbox is a nice starter sandbox for any toddler. It does a good job of keeping the rain out and the domed lid allows room for the toys to stay inside.

I would mention though that they also make a little bit larger and nicer version of this sandbox that is shaped like a dinosaur. The dinosaur version holds twice as much sand and the dinosaur's feet serve as handy little stools for the kids or adults to sit on. The larger version fits three to four toddlers nicely while the turtle only has room for two at most.

When we purchased a sandbox, we chose the dinosaur for those reasons, and I mention this as just something to consider when researching sandboxes. Either one may be the right choice for you depending upon your budget and preferences. Both sandboxes are great--you can't lose either way.

A great sandbox for a small area
This sandbox is perfect when you only have a very small yard, or balcony or deck for your children to play (or maybe at a grandparents house for those visits).

Only two toddlers fit in it at once if they want room to play but often my children sit on the outside of it and use it for sandplay rather than sitting in it. They seem to enjoy this just as much as if they were sitting in the sand themselves.

The lid is great to keep the sand clean and keep out the neighbourhood cats! I've found only on really windy days will the lid ever flip off. If we know a storm is coming we often just put a brick or something on top to hold it in place until the storm has past.

The lid is easy for my toddlers to remove on their own and has stood the test of time with kids jumping all over and bein out in the weather.

I like these plastic sandboxes as well as you can easily wash them down and if you are moving house you can simply empty it and take it with you.

A great little sandbox for a family that has a small space or is on the move.

Another Little Tikes Classic
I had this and the Little Tikes cozy Coupe Car as a child and now I am the mother of three small children, we still have the turtle sandbox from when I was a child and the Coupe Car is at Grandma's (I wanted to get each of the babies a car of their own for their first Christmas). Both are in great shape and the babies love them. The sandbox is a small one but they sit around the edge so all three can play together. I am sure we will hold on to all of these items, who knew that the crib was not the only keepsakes and parent to child hand me downs!

Max the Turtle
I use to be a pre-school teacher and the Turtle Sandbox was an excellant part of our family. Out of all the toys my son had, Max the turtle was the most versatile and long lasting. Max was able to go wherever we moved, Out in the country or in town on a balcony of an apartment. Max the turtle lived w/ us from before my son was 1 1/2 years old till he was about 8 years old.
The Turtle Sandbox cover was great because it kept out any unwanted animal critters, we also used it for water play and cornmeal play. I highly reccommend children to have a max the turle! My son is now 18.

Horrible waste of money
I bought this toy for my 2 daughters for Christmas. It's a great idea and it has a nice presentation. The top of the tent completely deflated after just a couple days. Whenever we would blow it up after that, it would deflate within a half an hour. We returned it and got a new one... We didn't test the second one right away, which we should have. It had the same exact problem, it deflated almost instantly. Unfortunately we discovered this after the returm period had passed. What a waste of my time and money, not to mention my kids are very dissapointed.

Best Swingset/Climber for young kids
This is our second Step 2 playhouse climber. Extremly well made and durable, hours of fun for toddlers and older. Setup is possible with only one person, however, if you have a helper and a socket wrench(highly reccomended) setup should take 2 hours.

Our kids 1 and 2.5 love this set, they can spend all day on the swings.

Lots of fun
I really llike this swing set. Because the swings hold 100 pounds each, the kids will be able to use it for a long time. The only thing I was disappointed about is that the deck isn't very big. It holds 250 pounds, but it's not that big. And the entry from the steps to the deck is small. My 3 year old has hit her head on the cross bar when standing on the deck. But, she's figured it out. It hasn't stopped her!! She loves it. I am glad the set comes with stakes to secure it. It will rock when not staked down. I would highly recommend this play set!

We've had it three years , and its still a hit!!!
For anyone looking into buying a playset, especially those with smaller children, this thing is great. My kids are now 6 , 4 and 2. And every one of them has a great time on it. The only thing I can say bad about it is that it comes with stakes to put into the ground to anchor it. They are hard to get into the ground. The playset itself will rock if you dont have it secured correctly. We decided to put the anchors in concrete and now I have no worries of the playset rocking or falling over completely.Overall, the playset is great, obviously very durable, we have had it three years now and all it ever needs is a little hosing off, and put the swings in the garage in the winter.I wish they had a longer extension so we could put three swings across. But the kids learn to share with just the two swings.This set is fun fun fun. I have even gotten on the swings.

carnival ride in your backyard
We are very happy with this seesaw. The kids love being able to rotate 360 degrees in either direction in addition to going up and down - and sometimes do both at the same time. The Kettler beats the other seesaws available on the market hands down and is worth the extra money. The only flaw I see is that if their is a significant difference in weight between the 2 kids riding that the seesaw can topple. The seesaw also needs to be on very level ground or the same problem can occur.

My five-year old daughter received this seesaw for Christmas last year and has loved playing with it. I just wanted to warn parents to carefully supervise their children while they play on it. Just before New Year's Day my husband was outside playing with our daughter, pushing down on the opposite seat. He was briefly distracted by our dog and didn't hear our daughter say that she wanted to get off. As he pushed down, she tried to get off the seat and fell to the ground breaking her collar bone.
