A nice organizer for your Polly Pocket clothes
My three year old daughter received this organizer as a gift.She absolutely loves Polly Pocket and the Disney mini princess dolls which are interchangeable.As a result we have acquired many of these dolls in a short period of time.Previously we had stored all of her Polly items in a plastic toy bin which I thought worked fairly well.The big problem with this, however, was that my daughter would dump out the entire bin when looking for an item resulting in tiny shoes, hats, pants, etc. everywhere.With this case she is able to store all of the small shoes, hats, and other tiny accessories in the bottom drawers.In the top compartments she stores the dresses, shirts, pants, etc.They fit a good number of clothes since the clothes are flexible and can be smushed down.Now when she takes all of the pants out of one compartment, for example, the shoes do not end up everywhere.I have also been working with her on putting her Polly items away.She seems to have no difficulty opening the top compartments though she often asks for help with the bottom drawers which is fine with me since it prevents an explosion of tiny Polly items.

My only problem with this product is that the actual dolls do not fit into the case very well.You can fit a couple in the center compartment but it cannot by any means fit my daughter's entire Polly collection.In addition, if your child also likes the mini princess dolls the case does not fit very many of the gowns that come with them since they are quite big.

I didn't think that I was going to like this case but I must say that my daughter and I have been pleased.

Not as clever as it appears to be
I bought this for my child to help sort and store her many, many Polly Pocket pieces. This was not as big as it looks - you can not fit very much into the side drawers - maybe 4-5 tops or bottoms each.And, the top storage lids are very hard to open and close for my 7 year old.I even struggled with one of them. This is the cutest Polly Pockets Toy I have seen!
My daughter (almost 4) just got this toy and she just adores it. The kitties have magnets in their paws so they can hang from the trapezes by their paws or when they are hanging by their curled little tails they can connect paws with each other. They also have their own little shirts they can put on to coordinate with Polly's costumes. She played with this for hours. Star wars FUN for little ones
This is a brilliant toy.My 2 year old loves it.IT is not complicated, it doesn't make any noise, it is big enough for a toddler to handle but still offers action play. I think it is a great attempt at introducing toddlers to STAR WARS without it being a stuffed EWOK. I love Star Wars and I am thrilled to be able to share it with my children. My four year old likes this toy as well, so I think it will have a longer life span than most toddler toys. I also feel it appeals to boys and girls in that it is not designed in a gender specific way, as so many things are.YOu will be pleasantly surprised at its appeal and durability.This was a gift but I can see buying more in this series- check out the R2D2 and CSPO- they look awesome. My kids love these blocks!

Celebration Salon
I ordered this set for my niece's birthday and she loves it. The set actually has a lot of cool features (various parts of the salon are operated by foot pedal, etc.) It has held up to 3 little girls playing with it so far and they all seem to like it. Very good buy.

What a great comeback!
My 8 year old daughter loves this! She has so much fun collecting and playing with all of the new ponies. I am so glad they brought these back!

Two Thumbs Up!
I have 3 girls ages 5, 3, and 1. They all love this my little pony set. They play with it every day. The set they got had three other ponies with it and this set doesn't but I guess everything else is the same. The only problem I had was my baby putting the tiny hairbows and shampoo bottles in her mouth so we just don't use them anymore. My Little Sandboxes recommendation
I am a preschool teacher and I have used all three "My Little Sandboxes" for enhancing our curriculum here at school. The sandboxes are great because they encourage interactive and imaginative play. Also, they are a very sensorial or tactile activity which is important for fine motor and hand/eye coordination development in preschool age children. That fact that they come with a drop cloth to catch the extra sand is an added plus!

Great take along toy.
These magnets have helped my 2 1/2 year old survive many coffee refills at restaurants with the grandparents. It opens to about the same size as his place at the table and is very thin to carry around (I don't feel like we've moved in with a whole toy box). It has also survived a minor water spill.

Great for imaginative playing
This was a gift for a "mature" three-and-a-half-year-old boy with a very active imagination and a passionate enthusiasm for all things pirate. He loves pirate adventure books and already had many of these stories in his head before receiving this Playmobil set.

The set includes enough accouterments to keep this young child entertained for a relatively long time. Some of the smaller, "precious" pieces of the set have allowed him to grow into a more conscientious toy owner, as he actually takes the time to put away these parts safely.

I look forward to adding to his collection with other Playmobil sets. I hope that his love for the pirate theme lasts a few more years, when I think the more intricate Playmobil Pirate Ship will be better age appropriate. ... Read more

Great toy & super buy-My 1 year old daughter loves it
Hi everyone! I just bought this toy for my daughter a couple weeks ago-and I'm so glad I did. My daughter is 16 months and she is soooo into Dora the Explorer-she's thinks she's the coolest chica on 2 feet, next to mommy of course,wink wink. So, I picked this toy up because it seemed to scream to me on the shelf with all of it's pretty colors and lights..and Dora. I was going to save it until xmas but we(meaning I) couldn't resist. The different modes are great so you don't get sick of the same old thing. We can both learn some Spanish and listen to Doras backpack sing, and watch the lights and try to find the objects Dora is looking for in Spanish. Very durable-my daughter stands on it a lot(its her new thing) and it's held up like the best. We both love this toy, I recommend it to all DORA fans!

If your child loves Dora...
My 2 year old daughter loves this toy! We bought it for her last week, and she has played with it every day. There are three modes of play- naming the object in English and Spanish, finding the object, and deductive reasoning (the object is red, there are three of these. I do have two problems with the toy though. I think the taped voice is sometimes difficult to understand, especially for one who is just beginning to understand different words, and the pictures are sometimes difficul to recognize- for example the balloons and the maracas look very similar, and do not accurately represent what these objcts actually look like. ... Don't waste you $$$$$
The box says Polly Pocket can "race her friends down the slide". Yeah sure. You have to push her down the slide which falls apart as she goes down. My sweet 5 year old wasted her birthday money on this and is so disappointed.

You get what you pay for....
This is our first polly pocket toy in our home. So this is new for us. It is a fun looking toy with MANY tiny parts to keep track of. My 3.5 yr old daughter really likes it...even her brother has been caught playing with it.

However, I have to agree with the others that the slide is hard to assemble. Firstly, the directions are not correctly pictured which makes it hard. But once it was assembled, and pushed in REALLY hard and TIGHT...it actually did stay together for US.

Some things that broke the day we bought them were: the bathing suit broke a strap when my daughter tried to get it off. The hat strap (elastic chin strap) broke. The rubber clothing is definetely NOT durable, and VERY hard for a child to dress her. If you don't mind helping every time your child feels like changing the outfit, this may not be an issue for you.

One thing I would have liked to see: another doll. Polly has to swim alone with a seal...she needs a friend esp. if your child wants to play with another child. The seal goes well down the slide, but Polly does not slip down the slide with her rubber bathing suits on...they are too sticky.

Polly's hair changes color but you have to use refrigerated water. We just used water that came from the ice dispenser on our fridge and it worked...which my daughter found cool.

Okay but here is another point. It is only $12-13. I don't consider this an expensive toy that will get passed down to my kid's kids...but it will be fun for a couple seasons, you DO get what you pay for in this case.

Polly's Pool= A Bust
My neighbor is 7 years old, and she recieved this castle as a gift. Her mom sat down for 10-20 minutes trying to assemble it. As she finished, we walked out the door, and the pieces fell apart right in my hands. Polly can't even succesfully slide down into the pool with or without the toys. It's not durable, it's not exactly fun, and I don't think it's educational. One of my least favorite Polly toys.

Terrible Toy!!
As others have stated the slide will not stay together. I had to glue the slide together which then it wouldn't fit right around the posts. The pegs that are "supposed" to hold the slide together all broke off from the hundreds of times trying to put it back together. My 4 year old surprisingly loves it still. She fills the pool up and puts all the polly dolls we have in the pool for a party. And she just pushes the dolls down the slide in the pool. So it is a fustrating toy for me but she still loves it. So if you have the patience for this one go for it because your daugther will probably still have fun with it otherwise BEWARE!!!!

Frustrating!
My daughter picked this out as a birthday present (age 5) and it has been a frustrating toy! The slides just don't stick together and it's really junky. BUT we do get the hair to change colors, the water MUST have ice cubes in it and be "icy cold" as the directions indicate. Otherwise, it's a huge waste of money and has put a damper on our Polly Pocket collecting (which might be a good thing! ;-) ) ... Read more
