Doesn't add much to the play experience
My 2-1/2 year-old son received this for Christmas along with three of the plane characters and one of the hangars. The play mat is very cute, but it basically just acts as a storage area in our living room for the toys. He never uses it to actually play with the planes in terms of running them down the roadways, etc. It is durable enough, but I would say it's a waste of money.

Not such a great idea
I was so excited to see this mat I thought that it would be great to use with the wooden airplanes and buildings. I cannot understand why this mat was not made to accomodate the buildings/planes that are made for the wooden set (,planes, hangers, firehouse etc.) The mat should be a runway without airplanes and buildings pictured so that it could actually be played with. If anything they should have drawn dotted lines for where to place buildings that you have. What are you supposed to do with the wooden buildings that you have they do not fit on the mat. The planes can actually go inside the wooden hangers(more fun than a flat mat). Though the hangers are too small to accomodate all the planes(example the kids hanger....only two fit not three) It does make a nice, expensive rug or door mat for decoration though.

Wonderful dragon
This is just a beautiful, rugged and attractive toy. All of the Imaginext toys have been great, the dragon is a fantastic addition with its chomping jaws and flapping cloth wings. Just great!

"Singe" the ferocious dragon
This red dragon is a medieval dream come true. It's so fully jointed that it crouches forward and rears high on its hind legs. Its forearms, head, and tail can be positioned forward and backward for all sneaky attacks. My children love the mechanics of the wings shooting out fast and wide, and the the surprise of its head lunging forward as the jaws split open. The fanged mouth can pluck up victims and carry them away. The clutching claws hold victims too.
The dragon is bright red, has a scaley texture and cannot look anything but dramatic.
"Singe" fulfills my imagination of what a toy dragon should look and function like, and my children love it. He's very sturdy like most Fisher Price toys, not hard and brittle. My 6 year old son willingly plays with my 4 year old daughter by her agreeing to her Fisher Price Loving Family dolls becoming Singe's occasional victims. ... Read more

Great toy
I just bought this set for my 21 month old daughter and she loves it. She lets the "horsies" eat and drink at the trough and loves the slurping/crunching sounds it makes. She also digs the tractor because it comes apart and she loves anything with wheels that she can push around. She puts her other Little People farm animals in the back and give them a ride around the farm! She also loves the song that plays when you press on the hay and the neighing sound when you open the gate. This toy is great and would make a wonderful addition to your Little People farm! ... BIG, tough and full featured
Anyone with a young kid who is into Star Wars take note:These 'kiddie' lines of Star Wars toys (Galactic Heroes (small figures) and Jedi Force (larger figures)) are fantastic.

This X-Wing is gigantic,as it fits the larger scale figure.It comes with a slot to fit the excellent R2-D2 and an opening cockpit that will accomodate the Luke X-wing pilot.

The toy also has an extending landing leg, many sounds from the movies AND (the coolest for the little guy) all 4 of the X-wings engines light up in response to a touch from any of the buttons hidden across the ship.

Very rugged, surprisingly large (and a little heavy for the really small ones).A great toy.

Amazon/TRU has this for an excellent price, btw - many stores list the toy at $25-$30. ... Read more

Love this toy.......
We love this toy. We have three boys ages 2 1/2, 6 and 9. They all love playing with this toy. They have been wanting a castle for a while and when we came across the Little People Castle we decided to get it because all of the other Little People toys they own hold up really well. Same goes for this set. When we got the castle and saw that we could expand it with this set we knew we had to get. it. The whole set it really cute but they all love the little dragon the most. They also really like pulling the dragon around in the little cart hitched to the horse. It's great for kids of all ages. All three of our boys play with it and so does mommy and daddy.

This is a toy for Boys??
This is a great toy, as are all the little people sets.However, I am very offended by the review that this is a toy for boys. My main problem with little people sets in general is that they make the house girly, and that this toy, though not just for boys is now being marketed as a boys only toy?I know when I was a little girl I enjoyed playing Robin Hood and would have really enjoyed playing with something like this! ... Very sweet!
This cloth book is expensive, but worth it. I received one as a gift for my new baby and I really love it. It goes through the bedtime routine and there's a little bear figure that tucks into the pockets on the books pages. My baby is only 3 months old, so I haven't used the book yet, but I plan to make it part of our bedtime routine when he's old enough. I've already bought this for 2 of my friends.

a bed time favorite
My twins each receive this book for christmas. They do go page by page at naptime and bedtime. The manufacturer does include a card on how to contact them for replacements on missing items, such as the pajamas, milk, soap. A book they are sure to play with for a long time.

Great way to wind down at the end of the day!
I just purchased this book for my 17 month old. It is the first soft activity book that we have owned. It is a great way to do something together to settle down before bed. The hands-on activities hold her interest very well. I would warn to only use it with adult supervision, as we have already misplaced the milk. It is well made, very creative and similar to most bedtime routines. My little one just loves it! I will buy it for other toddlers in the future.

We got a LOT of use out of this book
All 3 of my kids have used this book lovingly. This, and all the other soft activity books like it have been a hit. Ours is an older version of this same book (we have no music). The jammies for the bear have gotten misplaced, but they LOVED taking him out of his overalls and putting on his jammies... Pricey book, but it has kept it's shape better than a lot of our other well used books (except for the missing jammies)

Nice addition to bedtime ritual
My 1-1/2 year old daughter enjoys this book as part of her bedtime ritual. She has learned to squeeze the bear to hear the music play, can open & close the velcro attachments and enjoys twisting the momma bear so she looks like she is "kissing" the baby bear goodnite. She can put the bear in and out of his bed and overalls and likes to remove the soap and pretend to wash him. The only drawbacks I have found is that she uses the fabric toothbrush to actually brush her teeth and, since it is rather thickly padded, I don't know if it can be washed. Also, the pajamas for the little bear are difficult to put on and off, even for me! Still, at this price, I would recommend this book. ... Read more

cute and educational! ( well a little educational)
I think they're educational beacause they teach you to run a petshop-sorta-and to take care of pets.-again only if you treat them right. That's when your learning,you know "responsibility."- Now I personaly have not played with them myself,but my friend Terra has and she says they're fun. I can see them being fun 'cause we have good imaginations.Well i really think they're cute, just I don't undertand why they would take away from the cutness by putting a bobboley head on them.Still they're cute in a wierd sorta way.Now I think whoever you are reading this is getting tierd of reading this-and my hands are getting tierd to-so I'll just wrap it up by saying,if you're a 12 or 13 year old-not so much 12 years old-why would they honestly play with this toy 'cause they probly would get lauged at at school!So mayby this review thingymajige for "kids" should be 12 and under. just a suggestion!

Toy Store Mob, Profits Galore
Hey Guys, listen up.

I understand profit, but this is ridiculous. And embarassing for Amazon.

I have bought a set which is a double pack, from another store (a well-known department store) about two weeks ago. It came with a turtle, the turtle carrier, and also a cat and a dog, and some accessories. The price was HALF of what is being asked right now by this site for a pack that is half its size. In other words, they are multiplying the price by four. FOUR. These toys were not to be found on the site for over a week, and now that they are, the price is ridiculous. Hasbro has some sort of immoral deal with Toys R Us and this is the only place online I can find Littlest Pet Shop.

I have bought the playset from Amazon, but will not spend money on these animals, and believe me, I am going to buy the whole collection because YES, they are adorable and EXTREMELY well done, but they are NOT, I repeat, NOT WORTH THIS PRICE.

On Ebay, this price which is being asked is the premium price some people are willing to pay for these sets, which, granted, are very hot. I even thought of stocking up and selling them on Ebay, to see how much money I could make. But for Amazon to ask for the premium right away... What, don't you guys get enough money?? Shame.

I will wait and go to my department store. At least there, I can get the two turtles, the bunny and the guinea pig, and still have money left over for ice-cream with my daughter.

Little Herd, Grand Fun
Hello, I am a proud owner of this little herd. I think these toys are very fun and educational because you can care for them , walk,trot,canter(slope) and even gallop them! I don't think these toys deserved 5 stares on durablity because one of my horses tail chiped. These are also very fun to play with if you have more StableMates to add to this herd! Because of how my horse chipped (and my freinds horses leg broke) I would'nt recamend giving these horses to cildren under 3 (the leg or any part of the horses body could break and be swallowed) or anyone who might play ruffly with there toys. These horses make great little aditions to any breyer collection.

This is a really good solid set with really pretty pony's.Personally I had a little trouble with standing up the grey thouroughbred mare,also, breyer reuses their molds so now I have many more than one mold in my herd.

I have a stable, and it was sooo fun to play with! I recomend it to kids who have imagination/love horses.

Princess Sonya Lee & Prince Michael spin the day away!
This is an additional set for the Lil Kingdom. We love to ride the horse
The reason we got this set vs the Maid Marrion set (that comes with two unicorns, one big & 1 little) is that you can ride the horse!A great addition to our Little People toys, my daughter nows asks us to get ther the casstle (but we already have the house, garden accessories, airport and farm accessories).

Since we have so many people already, two can ride the coach while one rides the horse and the prince and princess can dance.

i am so gonna get it!!!!
first of all i am a polly pocket fan and i collect all of them so that me and my younger sister can play... so cool! i just hope this one will have all the clothes and both scooters not in the pastel colors, but in the one featured on the net... anyways have a fun time wid them!!

This toy is pretty cool. The only thing I dislike is how hard it is to keep the people on the scooters without holding on to them. What I do like is how you get to people instead of 1,the colors of the scooters are pretty if you get the set with pastel scooters like I did,and how the boy in the set has brown hair and thats pretty rare. And just to let you know if you already have purcased the polly scooter packages, the girl in this one is the same one. Busy hands, happy hands
This playboard is a great play-value-for-money purchase. I bought this for our son when he was 18 months old, to use on a long plane journey and subsequent vacation. He loved it, and it continues to be one of his favorite playthings. It fits well on an airplane tray and comes in handy in restaurants to keep a busy little hands happily occupied. My son also uses it as a playmat and mixes his diecast vehicles in with the magnetic ones. The magnets aren't overly strong, so do be forewarned that with a young toddler, pieces occaisionally slip off the board...this is only a concern in an airplane/restaurant, where you might leave one piece behind.

A Favorite Toy
I gave this toy to my son when he was just over 2- years-old and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. It's compact and portable, great for car trips, and one thing I really love is that all the pieces stay together because they are magnetic. It has the same appeal as stickers, but with more versatility because the trucks and equipment can be easily moved and manipulated on the background board. I would say this toy has given us the best play value for the money. The only problem we've encountered is the excavator has a long slender arm that I keep having to reinforce with tape to keep it together. Other than that, the pieces are stong, durable and colorful. PlayMobil Pirate Crew is a Favorite!!
Our son plays with PlayMobil Pirate Crew and the green life boat all the time. He knows which feathers, hats, etc fit on which pirates. There's no end to what his imagination can do with them. He plays with the pirate set on other toys such as boats, buildings, islands, even outside in the dirt. We just wash them up, they are so durable. He received the toy as a gift last Christmas and he has not gotten tired of it yet! We'll definately add to the PlayMobil toys this Christmas!

Lots of play value!
We gave this to our six year old daughter last Christmas and she has played with it all year. Yes, it requires a one-time set-up, but the instructions are straight forward. I did pause over the price, but I'm really glad we bought it: its been played with all year. I love the Playmobil toys because there is so much room for imaginative play. Our daughter and a friend played with this toy for over an hour today!

My son loves this!
Because this toy comes in a "kit" form, i.e., has to be assembled, my son and I had a great time not only playing with it but putting it together! He is totally enthralled with all the parts and pieces, and the price is reflected in the amazing attention to detail. It's a great gift and I will definitely be purchasing other playmobil toys. (Keep in mind, with lots of small pieces, it's not the best toy if you have young toddlers)

overrated
I had no idea this toy had to be built. I was very disappointed about this. That was the last thing I wanted to do on christmas morning and the day after, was to be building this farm. It's ingeniously made, alot of detail, and really cute. My kids have fun with it. It's alot smaller than I thought it would be too.
