Sand & Water Fan
Please read all reviews very carefully as most of them pertain to the "Easy Store Sand and Water Table" (which is 2 pieces). The Kingdom Table is great as it is one table with 2 areas of fun. This table provides hours of fun for the young children (and older ones as well - even me!) The plastic cover is great as it covers the entire table where the hard covers just "sit" on the box leaving room for bugs to sneak in! This is a must for those who love the beach, sand and water but not all the hassles that come with it!

Read these reviews carefully. Some are talking about the Friendly Toys Kingdom sand and water table; others refer to a two-piece Little Tykes sand and water table that is not as well-designed.

Regarding covers: I prefer the soft cover on the Friendly Toys Sand and Water table to the hard cover on Little Tykes sand products. The elasticized cover keeps bugs out better than the hard cover.

Awful construction
In theory, this is a great table and my kids like playing with it. But putting it together is nearly impossible. The two sides have to link (because the water table has only two legs) and really don't. The table has crashed on my son's feet several times. When I contacted Little Tykes, they said "Yeah, that's hard to put together." The water side needs four legs or it needs to have a metal dowel that the water side can turn around. I would NOT recommend this product unless they fix this HUGE design flaw. I'm disappointed; Little Tykes products are not usually like this.

Great product just one small set back
My 2 year old loves this table. It's a great size, easy to assemble, easy to clean. Be careful with the flag inserts on the corners. One time she bent down to pick up a toy next to the table and one of the flags almost poked her eye. We were lucky it just poked the side of her eye. We still use the table, just without the flags.

too hard to hook together

Lots & Lots & lots of fun
We got this table for our son for his 2nd birthday and he loves it and I'm glad we did. It was a hit at his Birthday party!
After reading all the reviews for other sand and water tables, I said this ones is the best and i'm right!
as for educational value, I rated it 4 starts, because It taught my son how play along with others and to share.
For durabilty, I definately can say it holds well.
My Husband had no place to sit and sat on top of the table and it held him!!Please don't misunderstand I did yell at him to get off, but it did hold him.
I would recommend this table to anyone!!!

GREAT FOR PRICE
this item was purchased for my 3 and 6 yr old. i got rid of the traditional sandbox as it killed all the grass and most of the sand ended up in the yard. I liked this one for the umbrella and for the fact that it was at kid friendly height. not as sturdy and durable as most step 2 products but great for price. There are little holes on the legs that i filled with water prior to putting together to give it more stability. the kids love it so that means i love it too.

hours of fun
We bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son so he would have something to play with in the backyard! I read reviews on all the different sandboxes/sand and water tables and ended up picking this one! After hours and hours of playing with this table and seeing other tables and playgroups etc. I know I made the right choice! The umbrella is a wonderful idea too!

Up, up and away
We purchased this table for our 3 year old daughter and she loves it. It was a smash with all the kids at her birthday party, not so much with the parents of the sand coated kids. My main reason for wanting a table was to prevent killing the grass underneath as a traditional sandbox would. I chose this one because it has an umbrella (which is very stable and adjustable) and because it has a hard cover. The cover attaches very securely thus keeping additional water, bugs, worms, leaves and various other things out...including my daughter, which comes in handy. My daughter is very pleased with the sand/water combo, rather I should say, the sand "in" the water combo. :o) Having a sandbox at her waist level seems to be very convenient for her. She scoots back and forth most of the time but can sit on a little chair and play too. I intend to bring it into the basement in the winter and fill it with rice (uncooked of course) so she can enjoy it year round. The drawback is the legs. They are attached with screws that can easily tear out and are not enough to keep the legs stable. Ours have not torn because I am very watchful of the position of the legs and prop them back up whenever I see them go askew. Other than that, I would highly recommend this table.

We use just water in this and LOVE it!!!!
I purchased this table a bit over a week ago and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! I have twin 2 1/2 year olds and they can't get enough of it. We are using is as a water table only so I drain the one side and then just tip it up to dump the other, no problem. I love the umbrella to reduce their sun exposure. The nice stone color is great too, it blends in with the house rather than the red/blue/green of other molded plastic toys.

A couple things other people had concerns about that I found helpful to know-

Don't cut the black cords holding the lid on, these are elastic and just pull off so you can put the lid on tightly between uses. The instructions are inside so some people have cut it.

Someone mentioned not being anywhere to store the umbrella?!? I just put in back into the table before I put the lid on like it was when I purchased it.

As for the legs not being sturdy I think some people have over loaded with sand (only holds 40 lbs) and the other thing is when you install the screws keep turning until the plastic on the legs doesn't buckle in but is pulling back tight against the table frame.

the raccoon in boston
We got the pool and thought it was a great value until a raccoon jumped on it and clawed the whole tube up. We never had trouble with them until the pool came and within 2 days the pool was gone. It deflated and water poured all over my yard twice. I called the intex to let them know but i don't think they understood. I do think the pool is a great value but it dosen't hold up to the durabiaty as a metal framed pool.For a hundred dollars more i think the metal one is the way to go. Now my 3 year old is stuck without a pool.

My experience
We had a 24'x48" pool and it was more difficult than a permanent pool, or the 18'x48" intex pool to keep clean. Once set up it wasn't 48"deep at its fullest either. We went and purchased a 18'x48" that has an automatic skimmer and sprayer with it and it is WONDERFUL. Infact it has became a "fashion statement" in our town everyone wants one. I think in time you will find the 24'x48" pools to suck. You get more for your money you might say by getting the 18'x48" pool. Not always is biggest better.

Happiest kid on the block!!
Most difficult time leveling yard. Very pleased with the overall result. Our 9 year old is now the happiest kid on the block! Depth/size great for my backyard. Will keep for 2-3 years and maybe move to a permanent pool. Hope it last, as it does seem very durable. Looking forward to a long weekend to really try it out!! I don't believe anyone believes these things can be ready in "30 minutes" (even without leveling yard). Still a great buy and will recommend to friends and family.

Awesome
My sister bought this pool last year and we have since had to relocate it from the original spot was not easy to move by yourself but well worth it my dogs and kids have played hard with this and it is still like new now holes or punctures even with 6 dogs and three kids I would absolutley by another again this SIZE because you have more than enough room to get out of the way of rambunctious kids and enjoy the sun. A++++ for this product as easy to put up as stated 1-2-3 thank you

This pool is huge!
We love this pool. It's great for all ages - it accommodates everbody, from our three year old daughter to our teenagers and a couple dozen of their closest friends (along with assorted inflatable toys, loungers, balls, etc.) Set up is fairly easy, but taking it down for the winter is a major ordeal. It can make for a very bad day as the pool is REALLY heavy, awkward, and unwieldy to deal with. Maintenance is not quite as simple as for other types of pools as you can't use most automatic pool cleaning systems and vacuums. The ladder is a little flimsy, and the cover is more trouble than it's worth. Overall, however, we've been delighted with the pool and it's been worth every penny. ... Read more

Disappointed
I bought this pool regardless of the price (which I thought was kind of high, not to mention the price of the air compressor I had to get to fill it) after reading all the online reviews. I couldn't wait to use it. Well after an hour of blowing it up with a compressor I could not believe how disappointed I was. First it took forever to inflate. Then the rainbow shade would keep falling over and it wasn't rounded like in the picture but more like a point. Then the dolphins wouldn't even stand up. I had to stand there and hold it. The slide would just flatten out whenever anyone used it. So needless to say I returned it. It had alot of great stuff and the colors were bright and pretty. Plus the depth is great for toddlers but I would not recommend it to anyone, nor will I ever buy a blow up pool again.

Great Pool!
I bought this pool for my daughter last year and we are still using it this year. She and her cousins love to splash around. The small accessories are long gone and she still has a lot of fun.

Hours of wet, summer fun
My kids, 1 & 3 year old boys, LOVE this pool. I turn the water works on pretty low to keep the water at a safe level and they just love splashing around and sliding up and down in it. It's lasted 2 summers so far. With a good pump, we are able to set up and put away easily. The smaller accessory toys are long lost, but the rest of it is still around and providing hours of wet, summer fun. GREAT PRODUCT!

I Agree Completely with a 5-Star Review on All Counts
This pool is so cool. The excitement in my daughter's eyes when she saw this pool was worth (...). I love it, she loves it, we all love it. So wonderfully colorful and playful, this pool is a must-have for little "swimmers". It is delightful and so much fun for my little one. I recommend this pool for lots of summer fun. You will need some kind of foot pump or air compressor for setting up. I started with a foot pump and my husband finished it in no time flat with our portable air compressor.

Bubble Bust!
This toy was wonderful (since I hate to blow bubbles manually for my 2 year old!), but it just stopped working after only 5 or 6 uses. As the other reviewers mentioned, it must rust out very quickly and the machine just ceases to work. I reluctantly threw it away. If you do purchase this, you will have to perform a lot of maintenance. Empty it completely after each use and do not let your toddler ever grab at it, as this is what causes the bubble solution to get into the battery compartment. Also, it's quite frustrating that the bubble solution can be found in just about any store (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Toys R Us), yet I still am unable to find a store that carries a replacement bubble machine!!!

I'd have to agree with the other reviews
I got this for my son just last week. HE LOVED IT, for 3 days, then the battery compartment rusted and now, it doesn't work. I don't know who's more heartbroken, him or me...
I totally agree with the previous review, save your money until it is better made.

A great party addition!
I picked up this bubble machine for my nephews 2nd birthday and it was a huge hit. All the moms had to know where I got it and were going to go to the store the next day to get one. The kids absolutely love it. I brought it home for my grandchildren to play with and their mom wants one for their house.
It's even a hit with big kids (i.e., adults!) I had a party and we put it out on the patio and no one wanted to come back inside to play our game.

Great 'first timers' pool
This was our first pool purchase. Beforehand, I read the reports here about the sun shade blowing off but felt I really needed one for my 2 year old. We live in a windy area and found that by turning the shade so the wind would blow through it, rather than into it, we had no problems with it blowing off. The problem I did have with it was an air leak in the lower chamber and a cracked plug upon purchase...Summer of 2002 we'll try something different. My son loved it though and so, for the money, it was all worth it. But what a pain having to put more air in it every day.

punctured in one day
We received this pool as a present for our 1 year old. She had so much fun with it. She was able to get in and out of the pool on her own (she figured out you could hold on to the corners while swinging your feet in). She loved the inflatable sides- she would hang over them and splash in the water. However, this pool lasted only one afternoon before it got a hole in the lower chamber. I tried patching it twice but the pool was deflated the next day. As for the sun shade, our daughter thought it was a game pulling it off the velcro. It was not sturdy at all. I am going out tomorrow to buy a hard plastic pool!

Sun shade pool
When I purchased this pool I thought it would be great to keep the sun off the kids. I blew up the 2 pieces with a electric pump and the canopy would not stay full of air and it was too heavy to stay up. They only have velcro to hold it in place. I ended up throwing the canopy away because it was a waste of time. The pool itself was awesome. It held up to a typhoon when it was full of water.

This was a great buy!!!
We bought this pool in the summer of 02 for our 3 kids. It was the first inflatable pool I have ever bought that made it through the entire summer, and we still had it to put back up this year. The shade stayed on great, and kept the kids from getting so hot in the sun. This was a great buy, I would recommend it to anyone. When mine wears out, I will buy another one just like it!

great floatie
I bought this floatie earlier this summer for my 8 month old daughter. It was the only one I could find that was suggested for her age and had a built in shade. I don't have to worry about her head getting burned. She has had a lot of fun floating in the pool using the buggy. I was very happy to find that it is very sturdy, and it does help keep her out of the sun. I definitely recommend this floatie.

DONT GO TO THE BEACH WITHOUT THIS FLOAT
MY SON HAD A BLAST IN THE CAR AT THE BEACH. HE IS 11 MONTHS AND LOVE RIDING OVER THE WAVES. HE LOVES IT IN THE POOL AS WELL. HEY MOMS THE TOP OF THIS CAR HAS A ROOF FOR SUN PROTECTION. GREAT PRODUCT. LOVE IT!!!

Best Shaded baby boat
I tried every baby boat with a shade out there for our 10 month old as we live in sunny AZ. This was the best one I tried, and it's very cute. Although it could be easier to get him in and out, it isn't bad if you just tilt the canopy over to the side. I would suggest velcro on the BACK supports to alleviate this. (My friend has a bulldozer boat that has velcro in the FRONT and the baby plays with the velcro a lot.) The "spring float" allows him to sit too low in the water and he keeps putting his face in the water unless you hold him upright continuously. I think the spring float would be more appropriate for about 18 months rather than 9 months as it says (and my boy is not small!). The "adjustable shade float" is okay as a boat, but the shade is horrible. It doesn't really sit over the baby's head for shade and it is so floppy that doesn't stay nice and rounded like the picture shows, even if you overinflate it. We even took the "sun smart buggy" on vacation with us, and several people at the resort wanted to know where we got it.

My son loves this toy. We bought it for him the summer he was almost 1 year old. Now he's close to 2 years old and still loves it. I like the shade. It makes taking him in and out a bit challenging, but it does block the sun well. disappointed in quality
we bought this pool for our 3 kids (6, 4, 2 years). The pool comes with lots of activities. The slide was what attracted my kids to this particular pool. Unfortunately, after a few uses the slide teared at the seams. I needed to tape up the slide, but I'm sure we won't get the season out of this pool. My kids still have a blast in the pool. It is really hard to empty the water. The one drain plug isn't enough. I usually have to scoop water out and then tip it upside down.

Great Pool
We got this for my 1 year old daughters birthday party last year! It is just GREAT! I would say we had atleast 20 kids in and out of the pool going down the slide, etc... and it has held up wonderfully! We have taken it out again this year and it is still nt great shape, it is a pain to deflat and inflate but luckily we have a garage we can store it in and leave it half inflated! But I highly recommend this pool my daughter loves it!! A++++++++

Nice Pool
I got this for my four year old last year. It's very cute and he enjoyed it. However, there are several parts and pieces to inflate and deflate. If you don't have some kind of electric pump don't even consider this pool. Honestly deflating the stuff took more time though.
So, as far as enjoyability, the kinds love this pool. We used it for my son's birthday party and several kids played fine in and around it. But, you as a parent are not going to enjoy the time it takes to put it up and down (if you're not going to just leave it inflated in your backyard all summer).
I have this pool to use once and a while, and I have a little purple plastic one for quick everyday use.

Fun but only lasted 2 days!
This pool seemed very cool and it was a lot of fun. My 1-year-old could crawl on the water and tried to climb up the slide (supervised, of course). Unfortunately, the fun lasted only 2 days. After that some type of animal (I suspect a cat or an opposum) came by and punctured the pool, the slide and pretty much all the toys! I've learned my lesson, no more inflatable pools for us :(

Loads of fun for One Season!
We've had 4 or 5 different Intex inflatable products, including this one. First, this is great fun. With one of the hottest summers in years, my five year old got lots of use out of the varied activities built into this product. In that regard, it was worth the money. But, I've been unimpressed with Intex products manufacturing processes or quality control. Particularly in the seams and valves failing early and often. It isn't that the vinyl is easily punctured. The sealed seams between each section just fail! We've never had any of their pools last more than one season or less. You need to weigh the price versus the longevity of use. They do make a lot of different variations of inexpensive inflatable items that are fun for kids, and no other manufacturer I've found matches that. ... Read more

Don't buy this toy, ever!
What a cute idea this would have been if only Fisher Price would care enough about the quality to take it off the market and redo the thing. Ours never did make a bubble, not once, didn't even think about it. Now, the handle won't stay on and absolutely forget about using it in the grass. The wheels just won't go through it at all. One would think with all the complaints that Fisher would do something about it but so far, nothing has materialized. It's made very poorly, falls apart very quickly and ours didn't even last a year. If you use it in the house without trying the bubbles, it's just fine. But then again, the mowing sound will quit very quickly on you and the rest of it will follow. I really want my money back. We replaced it with a John Deere toy lawn mower and boy, what a difference! There is no comparison in the quality between these two toys. That John Deere is just so much more substantial and heavy! It goes right through the grass and makes a very, very realistic lawn mower sound. My little guy hasn't stopped using it since we brought it home. I highly recommend that one! Guess it's true for their toys too - "Nothing Runs Like a Deere."

Not as exciting as we thought...
Our 2-year old daughter loves bubbles and we thought this would be a great toy but the bubbles do not come out right away. This toy is not for use in small spaces or the bubbles don't fly, you have to walk several feet before the bubbles appear. One other down side is that it doesn't hold much bubble liquid so we are constantly refilling it. And it doesn't work well on the grass as it's pictured, you need to use it on the sidewalk or something flat. Overall, she loves it but it does have some drawbacks.

Does not work !
We just bought this for our son, what a great combination bubbles and a little mower! We put it together put the bubbles in and away he went. He pushed the mower for an hour and never got one bubble, he still loves pushing the mower, even though there were never any bubbles. That would have been a great bonus.

it would be okay IF all the parts were there!!!!!
I got the double blash mower for my daughter, she has mine when i was little but i wanted her to have a new one so i got this one for her.. it's a really good toy, but not everything came with it. like the bubble wands, the stickers,and one side of mower where bubbles are supoosed to come out..not a single bubble comes out.

bubble mower is awful
THIS IS THE WORSE TOY WE HAVE EVER HAD. IT DOES NOT WORK. WE GOT 3 BUBBLES OUT OF IT AND THAT WAS IT. AFTER NUMEROUS TIMES OF TRYING TO GET BUBBLES WE GAVE UP. We like it enough we're going to give it a 3rd try
Our toddler loves her float! She's quite comfortable in it, and it (thankfully) gives our arms a break in the pool. However, we're about to return our second one to the store to give it a 3rd shot. First one, the steering wheel broke off before we even got it blown up (and left a couple of unsafe, sharp plastic pieces behind). Store swapped it out for us, no problem, except now the second one has a leak (blew it up last night, it's flat this morning). Guess we'll be taking it back again. Hopefully the third time's the charm as my daughter really seems to like it and (despite our experience thus far) it feels like it ought to be more durable than many of the alternatives.

OK for very young babies
3-stars for fun because he enjoyed it for about 5 minutes till he realized that he couldn't hit the water with his hands.

3-stars for educational value because there really isn't any.

5-stars for durability because we just bought it and he probably won't use it again till he is a better swimmer.

We bought this toy for our 18 month old son who is fearless when it comes to the water (but doesn't understand that you can't breathe underwater....so he has to be watched closely). He kept trying to dive out of it and then he would cry because he couldn't reach the water to splash-splash.

This toy is better suited for either a much younger child who is afraid of the water or one that is already a swimmer.

Passed the two year old test
We got our "toddler racer" in the mail yesterday, and my two year old son was already honking the horn, turning the wheel and trying to climb in before I could finish inflating it. Our pool experience was a lot more fun as we could swim and play games with him without having to take turns holding him at all times. He had a blast, too. He's still obsessed with it and is actually sitting in it right now (inside the house). Highly recommended!

great little float
i purchased this float for my son when he was two - he is now almost four and now my 10 month year old son uses it - that's how durable this product is - it's easy to blow up and deflate, the kids fit comfortably in the seat and the horn is fun for the kids - they are not as scared of the water if they pretend that they are driving a little car - great price too!

Saved our Vacation!!!!!!
My husband and I could not be in the water at the same time becouse our 1 1/2 year old was terrified of the water. Every time we wanted to go to Mothers Beach we knew we would be able to swim together and that sort of put a damper on our day but this boat was a life saver!!!!!We could now put our son on his boat and both my husband and I could go in the water together. The only problem we have now comes in when we try to take our son out of his boat!!!!Not an easy task! The gayest toy ever
This is really sad. A great company like Super Soaker is now making dumb toys for 3 year olds. This toy is very bad. It shoots a constant stream of water then shoots a mist 15 feet high. The eruption is too predictible. This is a total waste of money. Don"t not buy it. I at 16 years old think this is a very gay toy. Why is super soaker making toys for 3 year olds now? Let Fisher price make the baby toys Hasbro! Make some decent guns while you are at it. The only good gun you have made is the aqua pack devestator and it isn't that great.

Mother of 4 cool kids!!
I love this toy which doubles as an excellent sprinkler system as well. It is very solid and durable which is a major plus for parents and kids alike. Nothing complicated, no small parts, you just attach the valcano to your hose and have fun. A plus that I wasn't expecting is that the water comes out in a mist rather then large droplets. When it erupts the water doesn't hit you like a blast from the hose but rather an even larger concentration of mist. Very cool! Very refreshing!!

Fun for the kids
I bought this for my sons, ages 4 and 7. They had a good time jumping over the volcano and getting soaked. It sprays a thin stream to each side, then I'd say about every 5 or 6 seconds, it sends a powerful blast out the top, maybe 15 feet into the air. Very Disappointed
I bought this suit for my 18 month old daughter. I had read the reviews, but bought it to try for myself. Within one minute of being in the pool, my daughter tipped over face first into the water. If the child leans forward even a little, the tube tips them over face first into the water! It scared my daughter! I took the suit back and am now searching for something safer for a beginner swimmer.

Great Pool Fun
This is the perfect thing for the young child who loves the water but doesn't yet know how to swim. It helps my 25 month old granddaughter because it gives her the feeling of independence that she wants. We keep her within arms reach but she uses her arms and legs to propel herself around the pool. I highly recommend this.

Best floatie!
We bought this for our son ans he just loves it and we do too! He used to be afraid of being in our pool and would clutch on to us and nobody had fun. But after we bought this floatie he loves going in the pool with us and even built up the courage to jump in! Great floatie!

this wonderful invention
this toy is the best thing known to man for your little guy or girl...ours have went through two kids...my little brother jake who is 7 now and my two year old son kaibnee. i was always scared taking kaibnee to the pool because his ideal thing was to jump off the edge wethere someone was standing there or now i was always afraid to turn my back for 5 seconds now kaibnee can jump in and hes fine and hes learning to paddles and kick his feet...this is truly the best know "swinwear" and i wouldnt allow my child to use anything but this

10 Stars-Best swim trainer for 2 through 6 year olds
I bought this for my son when he was 2 & he still uses it 3 years later. It is still in perfect condition. He is training to swim but when he has this on he can jump in & play in the pool with confidence. We've even used it at water parks so he can play in the water without fear. I just bought a 2nd one for my 2 year old daughter. She too loves it and now has no fear of playing in the water. As soon as we put this on her she jumped in the water and started trying to swim.

A really nice pool
We've had this pool now for what will be our third summer. My son has enjoyed it since he was only 5 months old and is now 2. The sides are wide and sturdy enough for him to sit/lay on without caving the whole thing in and he loves bouncing up and down on the tail. So far it's held up, no leaks and I'm rather surprised since most blow up pools don't last 1 summer. Anyways, the blow hole is a fun feature (you hook it up to the hose) that my son loves as well. Another nice thing is that the pool is large enough for me to sit in with my legs fully extended (I'm 5'7). Inflating it takes some time and massive effort if you don't have an electric pump, so we keep it inflated all year round and just store in rafters in the garage during the winter. This is a great pool.

A God Send
I bought this pool for my 1 yr old daughter in 2003 and we used it all summer long.We would typically take it down after a few uses to let the lawn breathe.It withstood this many many times and never once gave us a problem.We haven't set it up this year yet but I don't expect it to give us many problems due to it's durabilty. My daughter just loves this pool and I would buy it again or atleast one from the same makers.

I bought this toy for my daughters 1st birthday
The first time we used the pool it had a air leak. She loved playing in the water and loved the whale's tale. Unfortunatly after 2 uses the pool is deflated. I expected to use the pool through the summer. It is not a durable pool.

Bought today and having fun in 15 minutes!
Bought this today and my 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it. A nice size for her, she had a baby pool last year which she outgrew. We pull her Little Tikes slide over and put the end into the pool so with this pool she has more space to land. Buy the Electric air pump it fills it up in minutes! Made out of Durable material and has a drain plug in the bottom making it easier to drain.

Summer Saver!!
I was given this pool last year for my then 1 1/5 and 3 year olds, they would look forward to playing in it every chance they got!I was able to enjoy it knowing there were no hard surfaces and if they were a little rough the pool coushined the fall.The tail was an endless source of play and the spout was a great way to keep the pool filled with their splashing.I was able to store it over the winter and it is now ready for another summer of play.The children are very excited to have their old playmate back again!Hours of endless cool fun! ...
