Pretty pair

A wand is NOT a sword
I guess I forgot that in today's society children tend to think of fighting instead of the wonders of magic.
I bought this for my 5 year old grandson. The first thing he did was put on the hat and grab the wand and start charging with his sword ... eeks ... I had to remind him that Harry Potter would never use his wand as a sword ... that it is only to be used for magic. I would have said David Copperfield to him but he would have said ... Who ??
I'm sure it won't last long as it is a bunch of cardboard. What do you expect from a 5 year old. Butttttttttt... It gave some quality time between father and son as he had to spend time with him to figure out the tricks. So what if the toy doesn't last forever, the memory of daddy doing magic tricks with him will.

Trash it!
This item stinks! One of the hat tricks doesn't work right and most of the other tricks are so lame that both my four year old and six year old think it's stupid. There is always one Christmas toy that makes its way to the trash...and this is the one. Even if they used it I'm sure it would make it's way to the trash as the hat insert and some of the cardboard props dent and rip very easily.

Great for Beginners
This is a great little starter set for anyone who wants to get started in Magic. This set has a variety of tricks to keep both you and your audience on their toe. Some of the tricks can be performed with just a little practice. But there are some that you need to work with for a while before you present them to your audience.

This set includes: Trading Places; a Card trick, Square Circle, Crystal Box Illusion, X-Ray Color Vision Box, Stuffed Animal from Hat, Candy from Empty Hat, Monte Rabbit Cards, Block Through Wand, Color Changing Balls, Wand from Tube, and Wonder Balls.

All Props are plastic or cardboard. The only drawback is that the cardboard items will wear out quicker with a lot of use. Over all this is a Wonderful way to get your introduction to Fun World of Magic.

A Respond to All the BAD reports about his doll.
HeEeLlLo0o0o people! (Or you kids that think this doll stinks) Every polly doll's legs are stiff! DUH! Only the ones that ride horses an things, those are different. And the peices wouldn't get lost if you would actually give an effort to keep up with them! Those who expect nothing from this toy, get ABSOLOUTLY what they asked for! Or if you just bought it because it was pretty, did you ever think about how much fun it would be? Well, thats what I have to say. D-E-A-L!

MY 3-YEAR OLD LOVES IT!
We had the regular Polly Pockets and my 3 1/2 year old got so frustrated trying to dress them...then I would get frustrated because I would have todress them, over and over and over again. This new Quik Clik Polly Pocket is great because my daughter can dress and undress the dolls on her own and she loves the autonomy of being able to do it on her own. Yes, the dolls arms and legs do not move as easily but for pretend play at 3-5 years old I thinkt these are fine. The main fun for my daughter and friends her age is the dressing and undressing of the dolls and immediately seeing how different outfit and accessories combinations look. Especially the different hairstyles.
Yes, the pieces can get easily lost but that is true with the traditional Polly Pocket stuff also. At least these clothes are stiff and easier for smaller hands to pick up and play with. My daughter plays with this for hours and loves it and I love seeing her so happy! We cannot wait for more versions of the Quik Clik Polly dolls to come out!

LOVE IT!!!!!!!
My girls got this for Easter (one Lila, one Lea I think) and LOVE THEM!!!!!The regular Polly's were hard for them to dress (they are 3 yrs old), but these are literally a clik!!They adore them, played with them for 12 HOURS the first day, then again alllllllllll day the 2nd day and now day three and they've been playing all morning!For young Polly fans I say thumbs UP!

Have a fun slashing time
Let's face it, ever since u were a kid and read X-men, u wanted to be Wolverine. But back in the days we didn't have toy claws and had to make our own...taping pencils or any other pointy objects around our hands and trying to hack our friends apart. This was all good fun until someone got poked in the eyes and got hurt. Seriously, times have changed and our prayers have been answered with actual Wolverine claws. I got these for my 7 and 8 year old cousins and they had a ton of fun, trying to hack the guts out of each other. The only complaint I have is that the gloves are a little large but my cousins didn't seem to mind.

Best Toy Ever!!!
These are really fun. Me and my friends all love them. It really makes you feel like Wolverine. The sounds are really cool. This is one of the best toys.

Nowhere near expectations!
I was very disappointed. In order to make sound, you must hit the claws against something really hard. The claws don't stay out and are a lot shorter than the picture shows. The gloves are the size of an adults hands...

Get all 3 Pop Dreamer dolls to really enjoy this toy
My 5-year-old daughter got all 3 Pop Dreamer dolls for Christmas and LOVES them. I can understand the reviews not being so good if you only have one doll, but when you have all 3, they sing and interact with one another. They "know" when they are wearing another doll's clothes and comment on it, and they sing other songs together. We also bought the Pop Dreamers music CD, which my daughter loves, too.

Doll's adorable, but the packing is nuts!
Your child will adore this doll... if you can ever get it out of the box. Security measures are far overdone, with twisties and tape being the least of the problem. The worst? They sewed her hair to the box! The end result is some very tangled hair once you remove her, but after that, she's nothing but fun. I got this for my learning impaired 6 year old and he loves to hear "his girlfriend" sing.

My daughter really enjoys this doll and its been about 5 months since she got to pick it out. She is autistic but she sings along with it. The hair messes up and is a little difficult to fix. But it is quite durable and her singing contents are positive.

Best Xmas buy
I got Ari for a 3-year-old and my 6-year-old had to have one of her own. They are getting all the attention of the presents. It is fun for the kids to swap clothes and have the dolls recognize that. Also, my daughter was just complaining about the lack of cute brown-hair, brown-eye dolls and this doll made her feel positive about her coloring. Only downside is that the "interaction" between the dolls was oversold. We cannot make the dolls have a conversation with each other--only one of the dolls does the talking.

Disney quality!
This doll is definetely one to give your daughter. Unlike other pop dolls, like Diva Starz, the Disney Pop Dreamers are pretty and clothed.

Really, really neat toy!!!
This toy is really cool!! It is really easy to put together and then it works great. My only complaint is the film. It has only 12 exposers and the pictures are not to good. Also, for the poeple that want to know, the pictures are in a circle and have the words spy cam at the bottom.

Tip:
Put the cord that you take the picture with down your shirt and into a pocket so you hit your pocket and it takes a picture with out people knowing...

FUN...if you take it apart
First of all, this toy a bit too expensive for the tiny piece of the camera that resulted when I took the thing apart. I see many users are not having lots of fun with this particular toy, SO I suggest a little imagination. Start by unhooking the "tube" that leads to the pump from the camera. Have a parent or someone responsible unscrew the grey part of the camera. From here you can see the annoying Spy Cam border which can be removed. You should be left with a tiny box no bigger than your palm. To take pictures, all you have to do is press the tiny button next to the slider. Make sure after you take a picture (in bright atmospheres) to not wind the slider because it will accidently get pushed in your pocket. (This is from experience) Only wind until you want to take the next picture.
The pictures actually DO come out great if 1) There is good lighting, and 2)you have decently steady hands. Otherwise they come out gross. Without the Spy border, the pics came out considerably big, which is a plus.
Unfortunately, I lost my mini camera so im planning to get it off of someone's hands for a cheaper price.

Anyway, I hope this information helps.

For the "sunglasses", you can just give that to the neighbor kids.

I bought this for my child and he was so excited....until he tryed it out. He was try to spy on some of his friends and he could not take pictures because when he looked at the picture it was more far away and could not see anything. I said he could use it for normal pictures and he said it is embarrassing but he still used it for nomal pictures......it had been two weeks from when I got that and we went to a birthday party, kids were laughing and the glasses sliped of his face and broke. He was so sad. I think those glasses do look really embarrassing and dont work on spying.

OK, one of my friends bought this thing last year so I got a chance to mess around with it. The point of it is obviously to spy on people, which is one of my little hobbies, being a nosy person. :-) However, this camera will NOT help you spy on people, for the following reasons:

1. The "sunglasses" are not one-size-fits-all, so they'll look strange on just about anybody. Plus, they're not real sunglasses, just plastic. "Why on earth is this teenager walking down the street with plastic sunglasses that are way too small for him on on?"

2. The "small camera" is bigger than a lens on the sunglasses and sticks out from the camera like a sore thumb. As if there was any doubt that it's fro spying on people, it says "spy cam" in big letters on it. Nice. I know I wasn't expecting cameras straight out of James Bond movies, but come on, they can do better than this.

Also, the photos it takes are shown in a strange circle thing centered on the middle of the photo with the words "Spy Cam" (kind of like a gun sight.) Funny, as there's no sight on the camera. Let's hope the camera was centered on that person! (You need to be careful of this, as the camera takes a picture to the right of your head. So if you're right behind a person, move to the left and take the picture.

Now for the durability. The glasses are OK, I guess, for cheap plastic sunglasses. The trigger switch (bulky pump that goes in your shirt) is HORRIBLE. You need to pump it a few times to make it hit the trigger, and by then the person could ahve walked away. Plus, a few days after my friend got it, the pump completely came off.

It takes 12-exposure 110 film, which is low-quality film. You're not going to get this processed in 24 hours, because most development places don't have the equipment, so they'll need to send it on to a bigger one. Plus, no flash = better take pictures outside on a sunny day.

All in all, I think this is a pretty stupid item for anyone who's serious about spying or even just out to have fun like I am. A regular small camera *WILL* work better than this one for both snooping around and regular pictures. Buy it for your "future detective" little brother and get yourself a cheaper and better camera.

(BTW, I'm not actually 12, but my parents don't want me giving out my username or info, so I have to use the kids review page.)

Any tips?
I say that this toy is awesome (Dispite the price) I say "If your willing to collect/play with Breyer, your willing to lend the money.
These things don't come cheap now let me tell that. Well I started to collect them a while ago. I only have one because I sometimes have trouble finding a way to pay. Well, if your intrested in collecting, heres some thaings you might want. Barn,2-3 diffrent Breyer horses. (ones you like and can afford, and anything else you wanna add to a Breyer collection. This is a Toy and not for Horse collections
I purchased this horse as an addition for my Horse collection and found that this was a TOY and not appropriate to add to my collection.

I was very disappointed and will give this to my grandson.

Also, I have paid less for nicer quality model horses, so if you are adding to an existing model horse collection, pass this by(...)

- - - Rain: Mare of the Cimarron - - -
This is a very fine quality model of Rain that I would recommend to any fellow mare lover. The sculptor did an excellent job of giving her believable equine anatomy, yet she still has the look and beauty of Rain in the movie, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.

The model appears to be made of a heavy plastic and is well buffed to a dull sheen after painting. I have two of these and one of them has the seam on her croup so well smoothed that you cannot see where it is. The other has some minor sanding marks and a small depression that goes from the base of her tail, along her spine to her withers. This is only of concern to a collector, or mare fancier as it is not very noticeable. To me it detracts from the lovely, graceful shape of her rump and back. If you are worried make sure you look carefully before opening the box so you can return her and get another that pleases you.

There is a very small hole drilled in the left corner of her smile which I have been told by Breyer is so that the air can escape when the model is joined together. It is very minor and is much better than how they have done it in the past when they would poke a hole in the nostril of the model.

The painting is not perfect, but certainly acceptable. Her eyes are well indicated and her coat pattern closely follows that of her in the movie. Her mane and tail are flowing with some nice hollows and through-holes that simulate her hair wafting in the wind. She has a very cute expression with which you can't help fall in love.

Her pose is realistic and very stable on a table top. She is in tripod stance and we can see the bottoms of 3 of her hooves which actually have a very slight "V" at the heel and are slightly concave to indicate the frog and sole of a barefooted mare. This is a very nice detail that they added to her in my opinion. She can also be tilted back to balance on her hindlegs and tail so that she is rearing up in a very attractive manner! :) On the inside of her left hind upper leg she has a small silver painted logo of Spirit at the gallop. Summary: If you love horses in general, mares in particular, and Rain specifically, you will want to own this model. I will be buying at least two more for my collection. I use her for display still in her box, as a model for drawing her and horse anatomy, and as a reminder of how much I love horses and have enjoyed her movie, Spirit.
