The Coolest Wagon
My 2-year-old cousin got this wagon for Christmas and I was amazed at how fun it was. It is great for outdoors, and can easily go over all different types of terrain. It is safe because it is hard to tip over, even when you go over bumps. The high walls make it hard for children to fall out. It can teach your child to share because everyone will want a turn in the wagon and your child will have to learn to give other kids a chance. Also, like most other Radio Flyer wagons, it seems very durable if you take care of it properly.

Easy to Refit
I had one of these sitting in the garage for years. The bed of the wagon (wood) had really rotted out badly, and the paint on the side panels had all but disappeared. As a sometime woodworker, I simply refitted the wagon with a better quality bed, and built new sideboards out of red cedar. And as far as the rough riding, I purchased 10 inch pneumatic tires (at a very reasonable price), and it rides much better. I guess you could say that the only thing left of the original wagon is the frame. I wouldn't pay what Radio Flyer is asking for the wagon, but I would be willing to purchase a frame only, and build my own. It looks nicer and will last much, much longer.

Not the perfect wagon, especially for the price.
I received this wagon second hand, and I'm glad I didn't spend the outrageous price charged for it. Yes, it's relatively durable (although ours literally fell apart under my 2 year old the other day. A nut holding the wagon together worked itself loose on our walk and the whole thing went to pieces. Replacing the nut fixed the problem), but it also tips easily. The handle is much too short. I've had to tie a piece of rope to the handle so that I can reach it without bending over. It is a really rough ride, and my son never looks very comfortable in it. All in all, I think I'll be passing it on and buying something else. Maybe I'm just picky, but I'd rather pay for quality, not the Radio Flyer name.

An excellent wagon!
My son has had this wagon since before he could walk. His grandparents have had many a wonderful walk, pulling him along in the wagon. He is now almost 8 years old, and still loves to play with it, using it to transport rocks, wood and (occasionally) mud. It still looks almost as new as the day we got it.

Radio Flyer is the Best!
I had one of these as a kid let me tell you it took alot of ruffness and it was the strongest wagon I have ever had. Now that I have kids they have one and its so cool how the sides come off so when even the kids get bigger you can have just the three sides on and have a bench. AS far as the paint coming off sure with wear but it is non-toxic. Plus any item paint wears off but you are not going to find a more durable sturdy wagon anywhere but Radio Flyer I am a loyal customer and will always be. We love this wagon! ... Read more

For TODDLERS only!
I ordered this for my 8 year old grandson to use with a razor scooter. I totally relied on the information provided on the website recommending it for ages 6 - 12 yrs. My grandson is thin and average build, so I was sure it would fit. He could not even get the pads on! It would probably fit a normal size two year old.

TOO SMALL!!!
I was really excited to give this to my son for his third birthday with his first bike. Unfortunately, it was too small for his head. He is a little big for his age, but his head is not oversized. No way is this for "ages 4 and up."

Disappointed
I also purchased this item believing it was for children ages 4 and up, as clearly stated in the description. It is NOT!! It is clearly a Toddler's helmet and pad set, when you receive it is written on the box Toddler. The helmet and pads are small, obviously for a toddler. I also had to return it, and as a matter of fact, am still waiting to be credited for it. Amazon should change the description of this item to state Toddler, so it won't be so misleading. This might be fine for a toddler, but do NOT purchase this if the child is older than about 3!!

won't hold it's "size"
The helmet looks good and my son is very sad that we have to return it. When trying it on, the velcro which is supposed to hold the 'sizing' padding in place detached from the helmet, causing the helmet to be too loose. I'm glad it happened so soon if it's going to happen at all!

Misleading description

Younger toddlers may not be able to handle big ride-ons, but this one was made with very short legs in mind. Sending this back to Hasbro
I bought this toy for my 2 year old son's birthday. He has been riding his sister's Disney princess scooter, but I didn't buy him that type of scooter because I thought the Ride2Roll would be more age appropriate. Very disappointing. At two years old, he is already too big to ride this in car mode. The base of the scooter is not long enough for his foot to get on, and the wheels are totally useless. They stick to the axle, and slide around, instead of rolling. I wrote a complaint letter to Hasbro (Playskool's parent company) and they sent me a postage-paid label for me to send the toy back to them. It's in the mail...

without a box it couldn't be returned
My 20 month old daughter recieved this scooter for Easter from her grandparents. They were being helpful by putting it together at home before giving it to her. When she sat down she became very frustrated by the fact she wasn't going anywhere. She had the right idea, but the wheels don't move easily. The scooter part was evan worse. She pushed her heart out to barley move. It was a great idea, but not made very well. Since we didn't have the box we are stuck with toy. Her 4 year old sister didn't have any better luck. Don't buy this toy, it's a waste of money.

great toy for pre-schoolers
I recently bought this for my 20 month old granddaughter....I showed her how to use it as a scooter...and she picked it up the first time she used it. She liked having me change it from the riding toy to the scooter and loved the "horn, turn signal, vroom vroom" noise maker! I'm buying another one for my other granddaughter!

Son loves it, but wheels are horrible...
My son just received this scooter for his second birthday and he loves the sounds and playing on it. Unfortunately the wheels are a very slick plastic and do not work at all indoors. They slide across carpet and the hard wood floor without turning. I would imagine it would work fine in the driveway, but I do not know how long these cheap wheels will last on concrete. We've had it a day, and are seriously thinking about taking it back to Toys R Us.

Wheels are tough to get on....but do work
Just received this item as a gift. I will say that I would have not purchased it for my son, considering the bad rap that scooters have with young children. However, my son (who's one year old) really digs the electronic noises and loves to hold the handles to 'ride'. It is really low to the ground and can accomodate a young child easily. Although the wheels appear at first to not move well at all, closer inspection revealed that I had to place them on with a firm push to really click them into place and now it wheels fine - not too fast, not too slow. Set up is relatively easy, but bothersome with all the screws. Thus far, I am pleased with the item, and feel that the plastic is not flimsy in any way. It appears to be a well-constructed item. ... great fun
This is a great thing to buy for boys. You have no idea how creative my son got when he found out he could be a farmer in town. But there is a few things you might like to know...My son played very hard with this toy and the wheels needed to be replaced long before they should have. I have no problem updating things but replacement parts are costly.

Wonderful Gift with Mommy Annoyances
My 3 year old son recieved this tractor from Santa and my DS loves the tractor. Truly, I'd recommend this product for any 3-6 year old child.

I'm annoyed however for a couple of reasons, primarily as a result of the products quality and details. For instance, the decorative stickers have absolutely lost and/or never had any adhesiveness. The tractor has been out of the box 5 days now and the stickers don't stick. Basically, remember to bring on the super glue as you put this product together.

Another annoyance is the gas cap. The tractor is molded and cut for the gas cap to fit tight;however, the gas cap keeps popping off and is now broken. A 4" diameter hole sits in the side of this tractor just waiting for tiny toys to be dropped in and fished out.

This is not a complaint just something to keep in mind if you purchase this product. Putting the tractor together takes about 20 minutes. You need a block of wood and hammer to pound the wheels in place. DH and I didn't consider that fact when Santa called and we made quite a bit of noise.

We also purchased a trailer for the tractor and found the trailer literally within seconds of performing an Internet search. Attaching the trailer hitch required a 1/2" spade bit and a screw driver so tack on 10 or so additional minutes to put the trailer together.

Overall the product appears safe and stable. We've scrutinized the product and are satisfied outside the stickers and the gas cap.

Little boys love this one
Our almost 3yr old boy is obsessed with this tractor. It is his favorite ride on toy of the many that he has, including the battery powered car. This is his top choice hands down. We like it too because it seems sturdier than some other ride ons. I would not recommend it for much under 3 yrs or 3 ft tall, because you have to be fairly tall to pedal it. He got it when he was just barely 2 and has only recently grown into it. Buy the trailer that comes with it if you can because they love that too (good luck finding one).

Problems Finding Accessories
First and foremost, it makes no sense to me that you must purchase a trailer for this tractor online when the tractor is readily available in stores nationwide. I believe the stores should at least be able to order the item. When you do go online to find the trailer - good luck! I spent 20 minutes searching this field and that page. Needless to say I never found what I needed.
I called the local store for assistance only to find out that they new less than the people who set up the websight and those that made the decision to make the trailer available solely online.
With all this said, my son loves the tractor. I just hope he can adjust to life without hauling hay.

Fun and Safe
This tractor is great for anyone between the ages of 3 (if they are tall enough) to 6. Big and sturdy - noticable to passing cars. Does not tip over very easily. Easy to assemble.

This is a great ride on toy!
This toy is wonderful! I don't have anything bad to say about it except that we have noticed after an evening of playing with it that it is starting to ride crooked. It no longer rides in a straight line. My daughter is 11 months and she absolutely loves it. Evertime the music plays she starts rocking and making the dalmation rock. I love the fact that you can put the wheels up for rocking play and bring them down for rolling play. My husband and I take turns pushing her back and forth. Not for country roads, but great for city area!
I bought this for my daughter and she absolutly loves it. It's great when she is on the concrete, but once she goes "off road" it doesn't work so well. She gets stuck on small rocks going up our drivway and it's really slow on the grass. It doesn't manuver well up small hills so we have to push her. I would definately recommend this toy to someone who lives in a city area with sidewalks and cement roads, but if you live in the country with lots of pastures and dirt roads I would tell you to look for something else. Age wise, my daughter is 3 and it only took her about a week to learn how to steer. She can reach the pedal easily and she's already figured out how to turn it on, reverse and go forward. ...
