This microcosm of Neopets is a portable world for your pocket. Meridell, the land of heroes and legends that was long hidden within Neopia has now been uncovered and is delightfully rendered here in miniature. The pocket Neopet world folds up into a small gold colored pod that you can take anywhere. Open up the case and you can play with your three Neopets: Lupe, Draik, and Lxi. Name them, choose their personalities and preferences, and then proceed to play with, feed, and generally care for them. The sensors in the electronic ports they sit in know which pet you're playing with. There are six games you can play on the small LCD screen with four toggle buttons--they aren't the most engaging games, but winning them scores you points you'll need to buy food and toys for your pet. If you don't give your pet everything it needs, it will run away. Of course, you can always reprogram it to come back to you. This game is OK...
This game is very cute, but the instructions that come with the it are not clear. The game can become frustrating after a while. It is also a low-tech game and can have some problems.

Awsome toy
This toy is so cool,i couldn't find it in stores so i ordered it online,i have a regular pocket neopet,but this one is cooler.I do not no what those other people are thinking,well duh the graphics are bad,what do u expect for 20 dollars,A flatscreen moniter?I think it works just fine the way the graphics are,and the neopoints aren't hard to get ,it a fun challenge,and that's what teaches you responsibility,so if you don't care about it it will leave you,and if yo have skewl,you can just turn it off,thats a good feature for when you are goin somewhere and you don't want to take it with you,It really makes you think about about the responsibiliy of taking care of a real pet,over all this is a worth it toy if your into neopets.

I bet this will be fun...until your pet runs away.
What i have heard is that the pet runs away and has specific times for everything. That is definitly a con. Some people have school ya know!

Only mediocre.
I am an avid Neopets fan and when I heard they were coming out with merchedise, I was quite pleased.
This product, however, disapointed me. The screen is too smal to do anything with. THe games are fun, yet the graphics are someof the worst I've ever seen. In the ned, I endd up taking the Neopets (A Lupe, Ixi, and Draik) and playing with them without the set. I would recomend a voice activated pet, rather then this game.

Do not buy this!
My daughter has wanted this toy for the last year. I finally gave in & bought it for her.....big mistake! It takes very long for the dog to respond & sometimes it doesn't at all. I don't recommend this toy for anyone!

Turner is his name!
After I got the Furrr-Real cat, my sister wanted to add the puppy to our collection of stuffed animals. This little puppy has a mighty cute face. Even other family members commented on it. The other people here are right to say that he does react a little late and sometimes not at all to the bone, but we worked with him a little and we're very satisfied. We got a kick out of rubbing a certain place on his back because he would yawn repeatedly. What a cute toy!

A GREAT toy to play with^_^
This FurReal puppy is a great and fun toy to play with.He is perfect for someone who is allergic or can't have a pet! The only thing is,I was hoping it could make more sounds,like the FurReal kitten^_^ It is educational because it shows you how to take care of a real pet.I have had it for a long time and it still never broke!!
Still, Hasbro did a good job!

This Cute Little Pup
This cute little pup is very fun and cute. He yips and whines and sometimes growls. But, the bone he comes with is not strong enough. If you put it to his nose, he's supposed to pant. I took mine back and we tried 2 other dogs. They didn't work either so I had to find a stronger magnet. I will tell you one good magnet for him. That is the dog toys from Build-a-Bear. But, this is still a very neat toy.

Boy's Aquapets
well, I am personally a bigger fan of the original Aquapets, but these are neat. Many of my friends thought the originals were girly, so I had few people to talk to about my new toy. I believe these more boyish Aquapets will open up the aquapetspectrum to a wider audience. I won't be surprised when I see everyone with a little plastic beast on thier desk.

Micro Pets
Well my daughter and I have been going to Burger King to get these Micro Pets out of the Kids Pack, and she just loves them. She has started to collect them and just the other day she was lucky enough to match up the Micro Pets with green eyes. She was so excited because she got 2 out of 400 of these Micro Pets that when they are close together their eyes light up green instead of red. These Micro Pets are fun for the kids and cheap for the parents.

Micropet Crazy!
My seven year old daughter got a Micro Pet III Bundle as an early Christmas present from her Nanna. Unfortunately, it came in a cardboard shipping box, and had so instructions or an introduction whatsoever. My daughter didn't know they could actually do anything, she thought they were plastic figurines. My three year old son pressed down a button on one of the Mice's heads and it's eyes lit up and it walked forward, making sounds. My daughter turned all of them on, it was wild on my kitchen table! As soon as she ignored some of them, (the only one she paid attention to was the unicorn - go figure) the dogs would howl, the cats would sound a little angry, it was hilarious! She gave half of them to her brother and she kept half.

One of them looks like our cat, Ramona, grey with stripes. My daughter kept that one, the unicorn, the pink mouse, the koala, and the brown collie. My son got the rest. He's delighted! These keep the children delighted for hours. Enjoy! ... Read more

Not too amusing ...
I've passed by these Neopets in the store a lot and I'd play with them in the demo mode but not really amused but when I found one in the clearance section and it was Shoyru the Dragon but Blue with yellow stars on it. I decide what the hey. I might as well see if this thing is as fun as the packaging says it to be. I brought it home and put it in Play mode and it took me less than 10 minutes to get bored of it. The last reviewer was right it does respond to your voice even thought you said a mean word softly it'd act happy and if you say something nice loud it get's angry. It doesn't say the 30 phrases the package says it does. I've only hear repeatedly Cool, Yes, Oh No, and Whistling which I guess is suppose to be his happy thing. Anyways I thought the price I paid for it wasn't worth it so I returned it. But I did find out that the one I had found is a rare Neopets item and I sort of knew that being the other Shoyru on the rack that wasn't clearance due to damaged packaging was orange colored and plain as to this one was blue with yellow stars on it. Anyways it's not too entertaining. I was more entertained by these magnetic lego type toy called Magnetixs by RoseArts. I could play with those all day and never get bored !
If you chose to buy this Neopet it's all up to you. But to me I say go with the Plush Neopet and make your own voices to go with it.

How can you hate those cute eyes?
Mine may not be green (it's purple) but I say it's great! It works well, is fun to talk to, and shows emotion. And for the other reviewer, it's just a toy computer chip designed to react to your voice tone, it's not a super computer that understands different languages! I mean, if you say something (or yell it) harshly, it usally means you're angry. When you speak nicley you're usually being friendly. That's how all the voice-activated Neopets are (including the Myncis). Neopets fan, age 10.

Nothing to scream about
Not to be negative or anything, but this is a review, and I do own this item, so your going to have to face the truth: This thing is nothing to scream about. It's a Mynci, which is an adoptable Neopet from the official site. I guess it's some sort of monkeyish critter.. it reminds me of my Micropet. Does basically the same things, only it's taller. But not exactly big. He walks, and he can hear you. He goes by how nicely you talk to him. You can say in a sweet voice, "Your such a terrible toy. I hate you." and he'll giggle. If you say in a harsh, mean voice, "I love you!" he'll say, "No way!" or something else angrily. Not very amusing. Buy it or leave it, you decide. ... Read more

Cooler then aquapets: A Pre-Review
Note:This is a pre-buying review. I haven't yet bought any of the FREEK Aquapets but I have a few normal ones and i'll base the "stars" on that.

I was waiting for this! I am an 11 year old girl, but i'm a tomboy and I think Aquapets are cool, but too girly. And I love genetic experiments and mutants, so this makes it even better.

Virtual aquapets are more boring then other things like tamagotchi but what bores me the most is the look.
I mean - come on - I feel EMBARRASSED to buy an angel-winged ball of love or - even worse - a Bratz-esqe pink cat in sunglasses. Ergh.

So finally! They have answered my call! The freeks come in specimen viles and look twisted but cute: A two-headded tadpole thing, an eyeball w arms and legs, and even an evil robot thing!

They probobly act like the normal aquapets but if there is a miracle MAYBE they re-programmed them and made them more spiffy!
I say they look like a good toy just by the looks, they look cooler then the old ones and It would be safe to say these are the next "generation" of aquapets.

Really Fun and Funny
I got this toy for my son for Easter and I think its great!It makes really funny noises and burps when you feed it.He laughs every time.We looked at the website together and it's really fun and clever.My daugher thinks it's gross but my son really likes it.His friends are all collecting them now. He got Stye, and is now asking for the other ones too.

This thing is great!!
I think this thing is great! I got one 12 hours ago and it is so fun. The games are simple, the layout is great, and the lighting is good. One complaint... The games only give you Neopoints the first three times you play it a day, unless you want to play the slots game. Overall, this product is one of the best toys I've played with. I highly recommend it to all the Neopets fans around. Plus you can take this thing everywhere!

This I think is the best neopet of all. The size is podable so u can take it any were if you are a new neopet owner. Like me you have to read the instructions book. Anyone 6+ people will like this toy because it is like having a real pet.

This is a great toy. It uses some of the same basics as the online game such as playing games to earn neopoints and then buyingthings to keep your pet happy. The cames are fun and simple. The games also teach children how to follow directions. Overall, this is a great toy that any Neopet Fan should buy.
