Good helmet, etc.
This fits my 23 month old very well after tightenning up the straps a bit -- she's bigger than average for her age.

Not happy with this purchase.
My daughter was very excited to receive this, anything Princess is OK in her book. But I was not so happy. The helmet was a little too big for her, which is odd, because she has a pretty big head. But the knee and elbow bads are completely useless. I agree with the reviewer who said that they wouldn't even fit an infant. I couldn't even get them on my child's limbs, and she is a normal sized child. Then, when I had to return this, my daughter was VERY upset because now her helmet/pads do not have Princesses on them. This was not a good purchase.

I just wanted to say that the description DOES say for children 3-4 years of age. It's great!

Happy Daughter loves her Helmet and pads set
I had to write my review because I wanted to see some positive feedback on this item. My daughter is 3 yrs old, 40 inches tall and 40 lbs. The helmet fits her perfectly (the child size for a 5 year old) The elbow and knee pads are great too. Her old helmet picked her and she refused to wear it. This helmet she loves. She can't wear barettes or pony tails but you can't with any helmet. They are supposed to be snug without hurting. My daughter loves princesses so this is a perfect addition to her bike she got for her bday. She loves it and is happy to wear it. Ours came with the bell which is also a big hit. I recommend this item for any little girl who loves princesses and needs a helmet and pads. If you are concerned about the size try it on in the store. It took a little work but we did and than we bought it online.

4 year old...loves it
I got this item for my 4 year old (and she is petite 3ft & 28 lbs) and she loves the helmet. Now she does use the knee pads when she "roller blades" - but otherwise - I think they fit her more like shin guards and they have been used as such. But she chose it over the Barbie helmet (which saved me a couple of dollars!) and it's easy to have her always wear it because she likes it.... ... Read more
