We imagine that constantly traveling via slung web from one skyscraper to another can get a little tiring for our old friend Spiderman. When he feels like moving about in a bit more luxury, Spidey prefers this stylish and well-appointed copter. In contrast to its occupant's primarily red attire, the copter is mostly blue with a few red accents here and there. The cockpit easily holds the included five-inch Spiderman figure (or any five inch figure you might have lying around) and there's a heady arsenal of spring-loaded missiles to fire at Green Goblin or whomever is causing trouble in New York. A set of spider legs on the bottom of the copter can grip to capture and hold those very troublemakers. The missiles and grippers are activated by a trigger on the sizable handle underneath the craft. While one might think the handle would detract from the fantasy of the experience, it's actually a benefit: the copter is easier to manipulate and the copter, free of hands all over it, looks more realistic when being played with. --Charlie Williams ... This is a terrible toy. The pieces all fall apart and fall off. My son can't play with it without things falling off. Will return this toy,

a huge disappointment
This toy was a terrible disappointment. My 7 yr old got it for Christmas, while it looked promising, it was not. It was very difficult to get open, way too much packaging. The rotor blades do not stay on, the "grabbing" claws do not grab, and while I have never bought a "shooting" toy before, the missles are impossible to load, and if you do get them loaded, they dont shoot. The other missles shoot abot 4 inches, and go off whenever they want, not when you launch them. The "exclusive" spiderman action figure looks just like the other 14 spiderman action figures we already have. This was difinitely not worth the money. Great Idea, poorly exicuted
Great idea, still played with some, but not how you would expect. For the money it was a disappointment in durability and design and caused lots of frustation.

Hood: The latch on the hood doesn't work properly. From day 1 it wouldn't hold the hood down all the way. The part that holds the glider onto Spidy is the hood (so the hood is taken on and off the car alot, and now the latch doesn't work at all.)

Glider: Flying Spidey is their favorite part. However, not all of it can be stored in the car - not enough room, the wings and bullets are stored seperately - poor design idea.

Bullets: The body of the bullets are made from a materal that is coiled, (this is how they spring out.) The problem with this is that the coiled material is flimsy and wears out quickly, so the bullets no long "launch". Also, getting them loaded is a little tricky, you have to push the steering wheel down while opening both headlights and loading the bullets, closing quickly before they launch on their own. It just takes practice, the bullets however don't last long, so by the time they get the hang of it, they stop working. (This happened within a few days of purchase) I've seen many other toys (buzz lightyear for example) that have bullets that are all durable plastic with a lauching mechanism in the launcher that hasn't gone bad yet, this way would have been better.

The claw - good idea, still works like it is supposed to, but it is rarely played with by my boys.

How is the car played with now? My boys drive the car around, without the hood or driver, and crash it into things. Spiderman wears the glider and flys around everywear.

Next toy sort the car will probably get tossed, but we'll keep the glider and wings for Spidey.

Not actually in the film, but my kids love it!
This Spider-Car is a great toy. My kids love playing with it, and most of their Spider-Man figures fit inside. I'm not sure why they released this, but I think it was a good idea since it's a nice, fun, whimsical toy. ... Read more

Save your money!!
I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. It was broke within two days. Extremely flimsy!!

This toy stinks.
This toy is really flimsy and it stinks.

Not as bad as others say
I just got this and was able to assemble it pretty easily, and everything stayed together. It comes with stands and braces, and even on a carpet it stands up just fine. It has a lot of fun features, and while not durable for rough play, is still fun.

Mine is missing the web-trap trigger though, which is why I rated the fun at 4 stars. I called Toy Biz to ask for a replacement, but they are sold out. They were surprised to hear though that this occurred often (they have a customer service number, CALL IT!) but I am keeping it. It's still a fun toy.

Fun...Well sort of?
I love this toy no matter what they say. It is lots of fun SOMTIMES, not that durible though. It falls over quick. The launching is very hard. I still love this toy, I'll say it's worth...bucks!

Cool looking waste of money
No stars for this awful thing. My kids begged for this and we got it for Christmas. It was falling apart as we put it together. Finally my husband mounted it on wood with glue, nails and velcro (crazy that we paid 35.00 and we had to MOUNT it) and it stayed together a little better. It is all posterboard and plasitc chip pieces, if Spiderman tried to slide down the web, the toy would implode. It was pretty much in the trash can by the end of the week. THE FIRST RELEASE OF THIS FIGURE WAS BETTER...
This is another repackaged Spiderman Classic figure that ToyBiz decided to put out with different hands and different accessories and called it "new". They seem to do that a lot. Instead of coming out with additional villains or other Spiderman characters, they give us this garbage. This sculpt was done first on the Punching Peter Parker with Burglar Trapping Actions figure. A better figure than this one. This figure has the same articulation as the Punching Peter Parker and the joints stay pretty tight. The accessory is OK, but doesn't sell the item. Save your money--pass on this one and get the Punching Peter Parker figure instead. You'll be glad you did. ... Read more

Best Spidey to date!
If you've always wanted a Todd McFarlane version of Spidey this is as close as you could get without calling it a McFarlane Spider-Man.He's got the big white eyes with the bold black outline.The body is slender and wirey as Spidey should be.He's a little tall, but looks really good with the Marvel Legends line.He's well articulated, but not overly done as with previous versions .ie the movie line.He's got some very ingenious shoulder joints that swivel back-and-forth.They are similar to the Spawn figure in the 10th Anniversary set.However, I think these work better because of the added ball joint which the Spawn figure did not have.This figure doesn't have an action feature .ie a button for kicking, punching, etc. action.
Since this series is aimed at kids it comes with a wall Spidey can crawl up on, hence the name of the figure.The wall snaps together.There are two clips that go on Spidey's hands.There is a Spidey nob that is located behind the wall that you move up and down which moves Spidey up and down.When Spidey reaches the top a gargoyle cornice shoots hard plastic webbing.The nice thing is that you don't need the wall because this figure is great on it's own.Most people will toss the wall.I wouldn't toss it.You could fill in the openings with puddy or caulk and paint it making it a great backdrop for Spidey or any of your other 6" figure. ... very detailed!
This spiderman head knocker is a must have for any spidey collectors. The detail of the figure is excellent, the tower he hangs on to is very cool, actually looks like bronze.Unfortunately, I received it broken, at the neck.
