3-0 out of 5 stars VERY SMALL
My brother bought this toy for my son for his 1st birthday, however he is above average height for his age. He loved and still till this day (he is 19 months now) loves it however it is way to small for him to ride.. He is like one of the other people had said that he just pushes it around now. I wish that I had read reviews before I had boughten this lil quad and gotten him a bigger power toy. Next time we go for the HUMMER H2, plenty on room in there.

Babys' first power ride on
I purchase the Lil'Guad for my grandson, now 16 months old. Durablity I really can't rate yet, for I only bought this about a week ago, but it seems it will last. Two things I feel could be improved on. One, the foot rest could be made a little larger, his feet are to big to fit on them. Two, The turn screw that holds the seat doesn't really sercure it down, it turned loose and my grandson could pick the seat right up when he was pushing it. What I did about this is; took fuel line used for remote control model motors and put a little piece on each nob and now it is secure.
I done research on power wheels and other brands. Other brand reviews were, on the hold, not good. for the product. That's why I picked power wheels.
At first my grandson didn't know what it really was, but as he learned, he loves it right now and rides it all around. I, at this time, plan on getting him a power wheels jeep for Christmas.
I thank these reviews for being here to help me deside on what would be best to buy.

Not worth it
My son received this for his 1st birthday from his grandma. I think the recommended age of 1 is too young. At 1yrs old, they understand alittle bit of cause and effect but not with a power wheels toy. By the time he understands how to ride it, he will probably be too big for it. I definetely would not have spent $80 for it. You'd be better off waiting until your child is 3yrs old and get a 4 x 4 power wheels that will grow them. They will get better use out of it.

unhappy with the little quad
Was a little dissapointed in this ride on. After one summer with little use, the power button that the children push to make it go, shorted out. My son just learned how to control the button, (that letting go makes it stop) and it shorted out, he let go and the four wheeler still drove, VERY scary for a almost 2 yr old. The seat does not stay on, it has a plastic screw that you unscrew to get the battery out, well that plastic screw doesn't stay screwed.

Wonderful Toy
I highly recommend this toy. I have two and half year old twins and they both love this toy. We purchased the toy when they were one the toy has never gotten old. ... Read more

Editorial Review

It's a three-alarm blaze of fun for youngsters with PlayHut'sTwist 'N' Fold Fire Engine, another in their imaginative series ofquick-to-assemble, spring-loaded, collapsible nylon meshconfigurations. Here, a bright red, 49-by-24-inch, stylized rectangularfire truck replica, almost 3 feet tall, forms itself from the apparatuswhich, fully folded, fits into a bag no larger than a grocery sack. Theonly assembly required is to attach the nylon rear door (complete witha replica of a fire ax) and the inflatable steering wheel to the Velcrotoggles on the main structure. Unfortunately, the included printedmatter barely mentions these two extra pieces, leaving assemblersguessing as to how to attach them. The steering wheel is a no-brainer,but the back door panel possesses one toggle and there are fourpossible loops for it. Parents might also be annoyed by the fact thatthe foldaway instructions are twice as lengthy as those forsetup. --Tony Mason ... Read more

The ULTIMATE wagon
I can't begin to tell you how easy this wagon manuvers in the sand and on land. It fits great in the back of my SUV (which is smaller than most)so we can take it to the zoo. I LOVE the seatbelts that keep my busy toddler from climbing out when we are in motion. I searched and could not find any other wagon with seatbelts. I have a big 1 year old and with both he and a 4 year old friend there is plenty of leg room (I was surprised). This is the BEST choice by far. We tried other wagons before buying this one and I LOVE it!!!

An awesome red wagon
This is one awesome wagon! We looked at the Radio Flyer Pathfinder and the Navigator. The Pathfinder did not have as much legroom in the footwell, or any under-seat storage. My kids are 6 and 2 so legroom and some extra storage are essential. The wagon is easy to pull on grass and pavement. The turning radius is very good if you flip the handle straight up and twirl the wagon around in place. The no-tip feature is great since my 6 year old likes to pull the younger one around, sometimes pretty fast. The door works well, though it is not a child-proof latch. My 2 year old can open the door easily. The cupholders are a nice touch. They hold standard size water bottles, Avent bottles, juice boxes, soda cans, and regular sippy cups. Glass Snapple bottles and wide-bottom Gerber Fun Grips sippy cups don't fit though. Another poster said their Avent bottles don't fit. I wonder if the cupholders have been widened? Our wagon was purchased in May 2003 and hold the Avent bottles easily. The storage bin is big enough for diaper changing items and a few toys. The drain holes are a plus for cleaning or water play. The rubber wheels are quiet and give a smooth ride. The only downside is not having safety straps for the toddler. But he's learned that the wagon doesn't move until he's seated. The wagon fits easily in the back of our small SUV (Volvo XC90)... We get tons of "wow, that's a nice wagon. Where'd you get it?" comments. I highly recommend this red wagon. It's been perfect for our kids.

So pleased with this wagon, we bought one for our niece
This is the wagon you want for your child! It is perfect! It seats 2 kids comfortably, with cupholders and storage under their seat! It goes all over our neighborhood! Its easy to pull, my toddler likes to put things in it and take them out (100 times at least!) When it gets dirty, the garden hose and some dawn dish soap make it look new! It the winter, its great to store balls and toys in the garage. We were so happy with it, we bought it for our niece for her 1st birthday and she loves it too! Granted, it doesn't have the old fashioned look of the metal radio flyer, but its WAY more functional and will get way more use! This is the wagon you want!

Great Buy
The seating makes a more comfortable ride than a flat bed wagon and the cup holders are great. Rubber tires keep the ride quiet, the drain holes make clean up easy, and there is a small amount of storage under one seat.
The front wheels are not attached to the handle, instead they swivel freely. As I searched Radio Flyer's website I realized that this feature is for safety so the wagon doesn't tip, and the wagon can also turn more sharply. Just never grease the wheels... it will make them shake back and forth and it will be impossible to pull the wagon. We learned this the hard way and had to take the wagon apart, clean everything, and put it back together.
We love this wagon and feel that we made the best purchase for our needs.

This is the wagon to buy!
I am very pleased with this wagon. It has proved to be very durable and my kids have great fun playing with it. The rubber wheels are crucial to my satisfaction. They provide a smoother and remarkably quieter ride than plastic wheeled alternatives. I would like a more smooth, comfortable, and possibly rubberized handle. This is not so much of an issue for me however because I don't use the wagon for long walks. My kids love to be pulled around our yard and up and down small hills. The high seat backs provide good support for the later. The cup holders are a nice amenity as is the under seat storage bin. The wagon sprays clean easily with the garden hose, and the drainage holes work well. My kids enjoy sitting in the wagon and having buckets of water tossed on them during hot weather. ... Read more

Busy Busy
I bought this last Christmas for my (then) very active 4 year old boy. It is hands-down the favorite toy in my neighborhood for everyone. Even my 2 year old can now hang from it and swing. I believe it has been instrumental in helping with balance, agility and coordination. You should see the tricks my son & his best friends- 4 year old twin girls -have taught themselves to do!
Amazing! Hanging it was an obstacle- my husband has to climb up the tree- but you only need to do it once.

It's weathered very well- the rope and the handle are still in great condition and it was left out all winter (in NJ)!

The Twizzler is great.
I bought my girls, ages 7 and 4, this product earlier this spring. It was easy to assemble, but finding the right height at which to hang it was a fairly time consuming process. It has been up for 4 months now and has seen daily use. When our play group meets here, the kids line up to have a turn, over and over again. I would recommend this for children who are reasonably coordinated and who have enough upper body strength to hold themselves up by their hands. A very durable product and a fun physical activity. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Long before children are old enough to ride a yellow school bus, they long to be a passenger in this intriguing vehicle. Toddlers and preschoolers will especially appreciate this nylon, pop-up bus that measures a whopping 50 inches tall, 36 inches long, and 25 inches wide and is shaped just like a real bus. Once the freestanding bus is set up (it literally pops out of a sack and snaps into shape), children can set up chairs and walk about inside, dreaming up all kinds of imaginative school stories and bus-driver dramas. The yellow and black bus comes with a built-in crawl-through divider between front and back. Park a chair in the driver's seat and children can turn the built-in steering wheel. Folding takes patience and practice, but it will all fit--amazingly--into a small storage sack.--Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product- Endless Fun and compacts easily for storage
My daughter (2 1/2) and her friends love playing in this bus- they spend endless hours being the bus driver and driving the kids to school. Also, when they're done, it folds up and slides under the couch for easy storage. Great Product!

Great Bus!!
My daughter received this as a gift for her second birthday. She and her friends cannot get enough of the bus! She loves to have tea parties in the bus. I love the fact that if folds up and can be put away at the end of the day.

Come on everybody! Get on the short bus!
This is great outdoor/indoor playhouse for kids. All of my best experiences happened on the schoolbus as a kid. My children love playing in their bus at home as much as at school. At home they get to drive as well! Good for me, they still have 10 years to go for real!

The kids love it
I bought this for my daughters daycare class...I have never seen such an excited bunch of preschoolers! :) They really love playing in this and they pretend that they are going many different places. It's very cute to watch them play in this. Their teachers said it folds and unfolds very easily, making it great for the adults too!

This Toy Is Excellent
WE picked this up for our 2 year old. He watches the other kids in the neighborhood play with bikes and wants one too. The traditional tricycles were too big and $100 more. He loves this toy, we fold it for storage, or to travel to Grandma's. It's very durable (we even have dropped it a few times) And our son is short for his age and he can reach the peddle- good price good buy.

Excellent Purchase
My daugther was 2 years old when we bought her this and she is very petite. This bike is perfect for the little ones! She was able to reach the pedals right away and the steering is very easy. Plus the horn is a little addon bonus that is easy to push and makes a lot of noise. Other bikes we looked at were too big and the horns did not work! This is an excellent buy and well worth the money.

I recommend
I bought this trike for my son for Christmas when he was 20 months old. I knew I wanted to get him a trike and this was the smallest one I found. My son is small for his age and cannot reach the pedals well enough to manipulate the trike yet. BUT he still loves it. First, he just loves the fact that he has his very own "bike". He gets on it and just pushes around with his feet for now. The horn is cute and is easy for him to "honk" although he doesn't pay much attention to it. Another aspect of the bike that he loves is the bucket in the back. He enjoys putting some of his favorite small toys in there and riding them around with him. He will probably be 2-1/2 yrs. old before being big enough to actually ride it. Regardless, he loves it and so do I. Folding it up is easy and makes it so convenient to throw in the car to take somewhere with you. It is a sturdy toy with metal parts.

We have a hard wood floor in our living room and for now we allow him to ride it in the house since he can only scoot around on it. The folding-up feature is really nice because I have some young relatives who like to ride his toys around but are really too big to use them. So, when they come over I just fold it up and they are unable to ride it.

Great concept and not too flimsy.
I bought this for my son who doesnt yet know how to ride a bike (he's 3 1/2). He's a little shakey with it, but its a great space saver, you can stick it in the car and go to the park, etc.
Nice idea. I'd recommend it, but I'd pick something lower and thicker for beginners. ... Read more

Toddlers who spend a lot of time on a ride-on vehicle will delight in having this play gas pump for additional role-playing. The pump and nozzle are made of safe, lightweight plastic with a flexible rubber hose for "filling up" little vehicles. A pretend credit-card swipe area with keypad makes the pump look a lot like the one Mommy and Daddy use at the real gas station. The pump also makes six electronic sounds when any of the three large push-buttons are pressed--two car start-up noises, two fueling noises, and two car horn sounds. The pump operates on two AA batteries (not included) and is ideal when paired with Little Tikes's popular Cozy Coupe II car. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

Needs twicking to stabalize toy.
This is a fun thought for the coupe cars. However, upon opening the box, I was very disappointed, I expected more. The toy would be better if the bottom was weighted so that the pump does not tip over everytime. I thought the price did not justify the toy. The value was not there, (...) dollars for a toy that needs to be twicked by adults to be of use to the child does not warrant the price tag, (...) However, after drilling a small hole in the top and filling the pump with sand until the toy is stable then voila!!!! It becomes a fun toy, even if the pump is difficult for a toddler to insert into car gas tank.

The nozzle broke almost immediately
This seems like a really great toy for those little ones who just love cars and other vehicles, and my 4-yer-old son did love it and use it right away, but after a few days of use the nozzle broke. He must have inserted it back in too hard and when he tried to pull it out again the long part of the nozzle separated from the rest of the toy. If you do decide to buy it, be gentle with it!

Nice thought...
When I spotted this adorable gas pump, I thought that it would make the perfect addition to my son's toy collection. He played with it for the first 5 minutes and then put it to the side. Twice in two years, he has pulled it around the house by the handle, but done nothing else with it. It's not very stimulating, and is a space hog for something that is only collecting dust. Nice thought, but not a real investment.

Great accessory for all those cars!
My son received this gas pumper with his cozy coupe police car and loves to fill er up on his own. He loves to watch me pump gas at the gas station and this makes him feel like a big boy when he can do it to his own car. We have 2 cozy coupes so he pretends to be the gas attendant while my daughter is driving and also tops his own tank off before taking off in his police car. The noises and real acting buttons give this toy the extra + over just a piece of plastic so he really feels that it is doing something and interacting with his imaginative play.

The kids love it!
My daughter and my neice love their "gas station."!!

It helps the kids take turns in their car because they can realize that once around the yard and they'll "need gas", and that's when it's time to switch over.

Get them a little cash register and you'll have a full blown gas station in your own back yard! ... Read more

Collapsible play tents have been increasingly popular in recent years, satisfying that seemingly instinctive "fort" craving that kids have while still being both lightweight and portable. This Spiderman themed tent features four sides, a split flap door, and, naturally, a vibrant red and blue Spiderman theme. Though Spiderman is always cool, there isn't anything really especially "Spiderman-esque" about this toy unless one imagines that the webbed crusader lurks in an easily collapsed indoor playroom tent when he's not slinging from building to building catching bad guys. And, come to think of it, that's a perfect game of pretend play for youngsters to enjoy while employing the tent. Radioactive spiders not included. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My kids loved this one, but...
My husband just came home with this. I put it together myself and it was quite easy, the hard part was taming the kids while I did it. MY 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old love this. They love to crawl through the hole and my daughter insist on keeping the "curtains" open. They find it funny that mommy gets stuck in the hole. My son (1 1/2), we call him the destroyer, loves to jump on the tent. This is not reccomended because after only a few days, one of the prongs kind of bent and now the tent looks a bit lopsided. I also noticed that the prongs quickly went through two of the feet on the bottom. I was able to fix it with a couple of stitches. A great item for 3 yrs and up but not quite suitable for destructive 1 1/2 yr olds.

Fun for everyone
Our kids were constantly asking us to "make us a tent!". After years of draping fitted sheets across stools (only to have them fall down every ten seconds), my husband and I decided to get them an inexpensive proper tent. What a great purchase! This tent is so easy to set up and take down, and it doesn't take up that much room. Our kids will play together in the tent for hours, and they love the idea of having an indoor "campout" sleepover with their friends.

Padded bottom?
Its a good tent for the little ones. Indoors or out. My grandchildren love it. However one of the main reasons I was sold on this tent was that in the description from Toy R Us and Amazon says its padded. The bottom is only a piece of tarp, not padded. Kinda misleading. But the kids do love it and it is a great toy for the price. I would recommend it for anyone with little ones who love to crawl, play hide -n- seek, and 'hide' from adults. Like I said, a bit disappointed the bottoms not padded but I am very glad I bought it.

Great Buy
I bought this tent for my grandaughter's 8th birthday and she and her 4 yr. old brother have had great fun "pretending" in it, even sleeping in it in the living room one night. It is a great price for a durable, good-sized, good looking play item. I am very satisfied.

Fun but a flawed design
This tent is very fun. My 20 month-old son has loved playing in it since he first began to crawl. However, the way the poles anchor into the tent to hold it up is flawed. The pockets at the base that the poles fit into aren't strong enough and all four of them have developed holes. It takes some parental magic to keep the tent up. We'll be looking for a new tent with a better design next time. ... Read more

Recommended Age is not correct
My daughter received this gift for her 1st birthday knowing that she would grow into it fairly soon. The picture on the box showed a seat that is about 6 inches off the ground. I stored it in the closet until she was 20 months old (18 months is the recommended age to start) and my daughter was so excited to see us put together her first bike. What a dissapointment when her feet couldn't reach the pedals. This was a full size tricycle and there is no way she would be able to ride it. She had a lot of fun when we would push her around on it, but that is way tooo tiring for an all day event. My daughter is now two years old and her feet still can't make it all the way around on the pedals. She is tall for her age, so shame on the manf for putting an incorrect age to start. We ended up purchasing a bike that would fit her height and she loves it!

Lot's of fun but pedals poorly attached
My daughter loved riding on this tricycle. But after only 1 month in the house, one of the pedals came off and now she can't ride it anymore. I would have expected more durability for the price paid. Recommend spending a little more and getting a more durable product.

Cute bike
This bike was purchased for my 2 year old daughter. She just fits the bike. After about a month of practicing, she can actually pedal down the street. A great first bike!

Disney Princess Trike---Perfect for a 3 Year
We just bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter. Although she is already very good at the peddaling thing, this was her pick. She loves the Disnay Princesses, and although the box says up to 3, she is not ready for a bicycle yet, she is very small for age, mostly short and she doesn't not feel as safe on the bicycle because of the breaks on the pedals, she is not ready yet, if we make it until next summer, I find this to have been a great investment, she loves it. Only complaint, the directions were horrible! My hubby assembled it on his own from looking at the picture on the box.

Daughter Absolutely LOVES it!
I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 1/2. She is a small girl, (my 18 mo old niece was about the same size) and my daughter could ride it right away. No way an average size 1 year old could ride it though, in my opinion especially with the coordination aspect. 12 month old??? I don't think so. Toys R Us's age recommendation fits better than the mfg. My daughter is turning 3 and I think it will suit her for awhile. Although a bit too big for it, a 6 year old neighborhood girl was having fun riding it today. ... Read more
