5-0 out of 5 stars cool ship
This is an awsome ship! Well at least Anakins is. My cousin has a green Anakin jedi starfighter and I want to get the new Obi-wan Kenobi one that is coming in September. The only thing that is not good about it is that there is a little opening in the cockpit that Anakin's hand (the Green ship comes with an Anakin that has a normal hand and one holding a lightsaber) fell through.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Star Wars vehicles
I've got several Star Wars vehicles, but this is one of my favorites. It feels a lot more durable than some of the other vehicles, and with the firing missles and flip-out wings, it's pretty cool.

I like that they started molding some of the pieces out of a vinyl material instead of having the whole thing be hard plastic.(The "guns" down the center of the ship are vinyl.) The vinyl won't crack off if it hits something.

Two things I did note, though:

First, the flip-out wings flip out nicely when you push the release button, but snapping them back in closed position was harder than expected; I end up having to partially depress the release button to get them to snap in.Not a big deal for me, but for a younger child that might be tough.

Second, the R4 droid is removable and supposedly you can put an R2-D2 figure in the slot.I bought the Episode III R2-D2 and his feet are a little too wide so he won't fit in there. That was a little disappointing but not a deal-breaker.I still think the ship rocks.

5-0 out of 5 stars cool
I must say this is a cool toy. This jedi starfighter is actually the past TIE-Fighter if you look at the weird looking circle in the middle.

5-0 out of 5 stars BUY IT!
I've been a star wars collector for many(over 20) years. So far, without even having seen the movie, the Ep. 3 toy collection is the best. Both the Obi-wan and Anakin Jedi Starfighters(same exact ships, different colors) are among my all-time favorites, along with the ARC-170.Both are worth more than the price tag in my opinion.

5-0 out of 5 stars Astromech droid can't fit!
I did not get the Obi-Wan starfighter, but I did get the Anakin. It is an awesome ship, except for the fact that the R2 I purchased just for the ship, did not fit. I don't know if they are going to make another R2 just for the ship, but the one they have now does not fit.....and that's a bummer. Besides that, the overall ship is great and a cool predecessor to the TIE fighter. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Star Wars Fun!!!!!!
My 3 year old loves this, he also has the millenium falcon, which he loves even more! They are more durable then you might expect, yes he does taske them apart, but they don't break and are able to be put back together!

4-0 out of 5 stars this toy is fun
i liked this toy because it has luke skywalker.i got it when i was 5.this toy makes lots of sounds from star wars.it can even mov e its laser guns.it comes with r2d2 and luke skywalker.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very nice toy for little hands
After getting the Millenium Falcon for her 8 yr old cousin, I saw that this was the favorite toy among the kids at the party. The one I got had 4 feet to the Falcon (Iguess a spare) and putting on all the stickers was definetly an adult job. This is an absolutely great gift for kids (boys or girls).Very durable and oh so cute.

I wish Hasbro would put out a Galactic Heroes Speeder Bike and Jungle Leia with Ewok (that would be soooo cute and to have a girl with a vehicle) and they also need a TIE Fighter with a Darth Vader!I am looking for an excuse to get the Falxon and X-Wing for my daughter, because mommy already has a big falcon and can't justify getting another!

My 4 yr old daughter loves Queen Amidala and kept asking for another one (I found 2 "skipper" sized golls on clearance). She LOVES Princess Leia and her husband Han Solo. She carries then everywhere and has them to parties with the Happy Family Barbie todlers. Now if I can oly find the Padme & Anakin set, she will be in heaven!I hope they come out with more girl jedi's in their two packs.Even though mommy loves Darth Vader, she can't get into the concept of liking a scary bad guy.I guess I'll keep those for when she's older.

With most action figures, not much in the way of educational value but she role plays with these two all the time. A+ to Hasbro and Star Wars for coming out with cute kid friendly action figures!

5-0 out of 5 stars What a great toy this is!!!
My boys got the x-wing fighter and the Millenium Falcon for christmas and LOVE them.My boys are 3 and 6.They couldn't quit playing with it.I love that it has so many characters that you can collect to go with them. The only thing that bugs me is that the window on the X-wing comes off easily. It is easy to replace, but annoying to a mother! ÜOverall this toy is the greatest!I love it and think the characters are darling.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome and Loads of Fun
My kids received this for Christmas.I couldn't wait for it to come out. Even though it wasn't due out until Spring of 2005, Santa delivered them right before Christmas to Toys R Us.My 4 and 6 year olds absolutely LOVE it.The sound effects and voices of Luke and Obi Won are wonderful and really gets them into role playing and recreating the battle scenes in Episode 4.
I highly recommend this toy for any parent who's little one is a Star Wars fan.I also highly recommend the Galactic Heroes Millenium Falcon. It is just as much fun.The boys have both and are hopeful that a Galactic Heroes Tie Fighter will be next on Hasbros agenda to produce! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars NOT AN R4!
This toy is increadably kewl but is deffinately not and R4 unit, it's an R2, althougfh it has an inaccurate name it is still and awsome looking and durrable little toy! a recomended buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice R4 Unit
I'm looking forward to seeing this guy in Episode III. He is a gold-colored droid that apart from his color looks alot like R2D2. Cute little guy and a fun toy to play with.

5-0 out of 5 stars R2-D2 with a k-razy paint job!
Ok,it's not so k-razy,but this R2-unit is a really fun little guy.Place him near any light source and his 'eye' glows orange. His arms/legs/whatever are poseable as are his feet/hands/whatevers and if you spin his dome around - presto - his little third leg (I'm sorry,I really don't know what else to call it) extends downwards or stows back in his body.

And,big plus - that stupid looking blue ball thingy can be easily removed and thrown away - I mean, stored for the day when this becomes a valuable collectible.

Good for kids of all ages, except those young or strange enough to try and eat it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A good toy, or is it?
Sure it may be good for a toy, but for collectors it may not be, this is because the seat is on the GODAMN SIDE OF THE VEHICLE! yes, that's right. Just watch the film and you will be amazed by how inacurate it is. Also you get general gievous figure which is ok BUT, if you watch the film he is not white, but a light beige. And, the model can be snapped quite easily. get it if your a kid, but it may not suit collectors.

4-0 out of 5 stars unstable
this toy is very fun but be warned, if you think
the little 'bonus' qualifys for not getting general grievious,
you're wrong. it also sometimes the part where GG sits moves
independently from the wheel, looking weird.
and it may roll on its own.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Exlusive" Figure is Crap, But Everything Else Looks Good
For the most part we, the consumers, purchase a VEHICLE set for the vehicle, not an extra pack in meant to draw in unwary buyers. So listing the absolutly terrible "Exclusive"Greivous as a downfall for the set as a whole is just picky. The vehicle in itself (the main attraction of the package), isn't all bad.Sure, it isn't the greatest of vehicles but it is very likely the only wheel bike that will come out, and you can bet that the wheel bike will hold a special place in the movie (f.y.i. the Obi-Wan Greivous chase scene), so that alone makes it worth buying.Don't let the other reviews make this package out to be absolute crap, after all, it's a plastic vehicle made for playing with; NOT made for perfect acuracy. It's out there to be fun to play with along with your other 3/4 inch figures, and it does that job exceedingly well.So what if it's balance isn't flawless, you purchase it to play with, not display (at least most people do).Bottom line:enjoy it for what it is:a good representation of the new movie vehicle. Not what you THINK it should be.This is a good purchase.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT AS COOL AS IT LOOKS...
It looks cool. It wants to be cool. I WANTED it to be cool. But it's not.

Here's the skinny:
~ The exclusive figure does not fit in the chair.
(be warned the "Wheel-General" is barely articulated)
~ The piece is ill-balanced.
~ It rolls unsteadily (when it rolls).
~ It stands poorly.
~ It's awkward to hold and clumsy to play with.
~ and to top it off, it "feels" cheap.

Do not be swayed by the stunning packaging. Do not be fooled by the exclusive figure. This is a weak offering from the Hasbro team. Don't get caught up in the hype, learn from my mistake.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wheel Bikes Rule
This is a great set. It comes with a wonderful wheelbike toy that goes just about anywhere and has lots of detail. On top of that you get a bonus, a limited edition General Grievous action figure that cannot be found anywhere else. ... Read more

Now Luke Skywalker, You Will Die
The Unleashed line of toys continues with this figure of Darth Sidious. His face doesn't really match the one seen in RETUN OF THE JEDI, but the amount of detail and action in the sculpt help make up for it. The figure comes with two pairs of hands. One normal, the other features blue lightning bolts shooting out from his fingertips. I found it was best to display the figure with one regular hand and one hand with lightning. If you attach both hands with the lightning at the same time the amount of lightning looks a bit ridiculous plus his face can get obscured from certain angles.

Drawbacks - You'll have to find a safe place to store the hands not attached to the figure. The lightning bolts seem pretty sturdy, but I'm sure if they got bent they would break. On my figure the paint job on the pair of hands that have lightning is rather sloppy.

I recommend this figure, but it doesn't reach the high standard set by other figures in the series. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC FIGURE!!
This is one of my favorite figures! and its not part of the revenge basic collection but a prieview, i think this figure later will be worth more then people think considering he isnt in the basic sett ... Andhes reallly AWSOME in design!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Well Done!
This is an excellent figure for collectors and kids alike! It has a fantastic paint job and a great amount of detail! It is sure to become a collectors item due to the fact that its becoming increasingly hard to find the sneak preview figures. So go get this geat figure!

4-0 out of 5 stars InterestingFigure
I dont know too much about the character but his figure was worth buying. He comes complete with a staff and a blaster rifle. Destined to become a true collectors item these preview figures are not to be missed.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Futuristic Ghoul.
STAR WARS fans have some idea what the final movie will contain: the death of most of the Jedi, the duel between Anakin and Obi Wan, the return of Anakin from almost certain death to that as life as Darth Vader, and some sort of Wookie battle. Hints have been placed here and there throughout the novels, video games, and animated series on Cartoon Network. Now that the release of what is supposed to be the final STAR WARS motion picture on May 19, 2005; the mass merchandising has begun. Let the action figures roll!

Tion Medon is the local administrator on a planet called Utapau. Not having yet seen REVENGE OF THE SITH, it's hard to say what exact purpose he plays in the new movie. However, it's safe to say that Tion Medon doesn't have a friendly look about him. In fact, he looks like death warmed over and his long red robes remind me just a little bit too much of the Royal Imperial Guards. Like General Grievous, Tion Medon is both intimidating and frightening in appearance. The action figure includes this long rifle-like gun and a walking stick that looks a little bit too much like an upside-down lightsaber. The figure is fun to play with and not knowing yet exactly what role he plays in the saga makes it even more interesting right now--sometimes you can use him as an obvious Sith member, othertimes one can pretend he's really on the side of the Republic but just has a scary-looking face. The figure isn't very flexible (which is a complaint of most of the STAR WARS action figures) and that's about the most major drawback. Nevertheless, the character is a lot of fun and makes a great addition to any STAR WARS collection. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wookie Warrior
I think this toy is great. My only complaint is that it's helment does'nt stay on when you open the box, but it's durability makes up for that. This wookie is big and beefy, so it's lower arms don't fall off when you try to pose it. It is definitly hunkier than Chewbacca, although all the wookies seem to be better made than everyone else. Of all the wookies I've seen from episode3, he can hold his gun much better. the snap-on body armour is'nt that great, but considering this wookies gun won't fall out of his hands while fighting a battle droid, thisis one of the best ROTS toys yet.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wookies Unite!
This Wookie Warrior is one of 4 preview toys to what is supposed to be the last STAR WARS movies, REVENGE OF THE SITH. In 1983 RETURN OF THE JEDI was released and thousands of adult Star Wars fans felt cheated knowing that the Ewoks in the movie were originally supposed to be Wookies.REVENGE OF THE SITH is Lucas' retribution and this action figure offers just a small glimpse of the Wookie race in all their glory. The action figure is slightly taller and much broader than the Chewie action figures of the past. It's a fairly flexible figure and is rather sturdy. It includes a variety of body armor, a weapon, and a helmet. The figure is a lot of fun to play with and makes one long for the waning glory days of the Republic.

3-0 out of 5 stars Wookies Rejoice
Finally we get to see a Wookie warrior in all his splendor. This guy comes with a rifle and decked out in armor. I look forward to seeing the Wookies in Episode III. Lots of detail makes this a figure worth adding to your collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Winning Warrior
Very nice figure...great detail and nice to finnally explore Chewbacca's home planet...this guy is huge compared to Chewie..but then again Chewie was young...this one will be a great addition to our collection...hope they produce some differant wookie warriors...(like the old Ewoks)....

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow... What a Wookie!
OK---here we go: Episode III is getting closer and closer and Hasbro does not disappoint fans and collectors with the release of the first four action figures from the movie, "Revenge of the Sith".

The Wookie warrior offers us a glimpse into the movie's action sequences on the famous Chewbacca's home planet. There, we gonna meet lots of Wookies in a dense battle. And right from the middle of the action comes this towering figure with snap-on armor, a helmet and a gun.

I loved this figure when I freed it from its package. While its enormous size may seem exaggerated, the sculpting is great. It also has lots of points of articulation---but that does not take away from the look of the toy.

I also recommend buying the General Grievous figure from the Episode III preview assortment! ... Read more

Disappointing when unmasked
I found this toy very disappointing. The packaging means that you can't see Leia's face before you buy, and despite other reviewers, I and a friend who collects Carrie Fisher stuff both felt that the face didn't look like her, AND wasn't particularly interesting. A bad combination.

If you want her as this disguised figure, the clunky permanent-glove hands won't bother you, but those of us who like to do some customizing prefer figures that we can make other outfits for, and the gloves are a problem. Like a Barbie, she comes with the hidden broad-arrow neck designed to break rather than be removable, which doesn't help.

As for the Solo in Carbonite: bleh. Vague abstract glows that you could pretend are him if you care enough, but when I sold a couple of these figures loose, people wouldn't take the Carbonite Solo display even as a gift.

So. If you just want her to look like she does in the box, the figure's probably fine. But unmasked, she's not even worth it at the sale price, to my taste.

--(...)

12'' Leia
I think this Leia is great. I am a big Star Wars fan and I have been looking for somthing like this for a while. I really like Leia's face. It accually looks like Carrie Fisher. The 12" Padme doll doesn't look anything like Natlie Portman. All and all I really enjoy this doll

A Super Collector's Item
This is one of the best two (2) pack's that Hasbro has put out to date. I would strongly recomend it to all, collector's and
kid's as a play toy. The packaging has great art work depicting
Jabba's Throne Room, where Boussh "Leia" tride to free Han Solo.
I my self have two of them, one in the box for display and one for my kid's to play with they love it, my son and daughter. So
if you have a Star Wars fan in your life get this set for them you can't go wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Dealing With Hutts
When dealing with a Hutt, one needs to bring more to barter with besides the simple press of currency and a mind rich with intrigue. An even temper is something that works well in these cases sometimes, a few bargaining chips that the Hutt can't seem to live without in others, a vessel by which to make a hasty retreat can keep the odds a bit more on the bargainees side, and a good Bounty Hunter disguise is something that works if you need employment to go with that. Still, when your life and the life of the person you is on the line and you don't want to end up on the platter of a Rancor, its always good to bring a secret scent of something like, I don't know, portable bomb interaction to the table as well. Ask a certain princess because she can attest to that well.

Within the confines of this 12" Boushh figure captured from the realms The Return of the Jedi, there are many pros and cons that plead the figures case slightly but that make this something unworthy of purchase in others. This is a disturbing fact when you break them down, too, because Boushh would be nice to own in "its" greatness. Still, the reason I wouldn't suggest going on the quest of obtaining and the highpoints are as follows:
First, there is the problem I have with the packaging, a detail which I find myself absolutely hating and stunned by. The reason I say this is because its so simplistic, not capturing any scenes from the movie and showcasing a setting by which to refresh the mind at all. Perhaps this isn't something that many people care about and that I would forgive in most cases, but the utter lack of concern for a nice encasing merits my anger herein.

Second, on the figure itself, the Bouschh disguise looks pretty nice, with the helmet capturing the adornment element in a nice way and the outfit doing wonders in the "completing the image" department. The addition of a little handheld bundle of explosive love was also nice to have, as was the weapon that can be seen gracing the figures hands. Still, the gloves of the outfit were painted onto the arms instead of being loosely crafted editions and the helmet, when removed, reveals a beast I like to call Leia-Barbie that seems to scare my other Bounty Hunters. Yes, you can somewhat see Her Highness in the face looking out toward its consumer, but you can also see the look of many and many a Barbie doll captured in the vacancies of her grinning, almost mocking, expression. This is horrible in many a right and, to me, a nasty blackmark against the product because I have to leave the helmet on all the time unless my Rancor needs something to chew on.

Lastly, there's the "Carbonite Solo" that I wanted as an addition to my Boba Fett 12" figure, but that I found completely disappointing. Basically, its a piece of plastic encasing a slow lighting mechanism which makes a silhouette of Han glow slightly when pressed. It has to be dark in a room to get it to do so, though, and the image is a faint, almost unrecognizable thing. That's because not only is it this basic, but it is also a flat beast without any Han pressing outward, devoid of that horrified expression peaking out from what Jabba thought would make good wall art for his palace to entertain myself with.

If you must buy this then you must buy it, but be warned ahead of time that you might find some of these thing disappointing. I say this because I had looked forward to it for quite some time and found myself frowning, something that not even a little dance from my buddy, S. Crumb, could drown out, when I received this piece of coal as a gift. Not recommended.

Double Gretness of Leia
This is a Great adittion to the 12'' Slave Leia With R2-D2, And the 12'' Han Solo with Corbonite Block!! A must have for any Leia or die hard star wars fan!! I Highly recommend this great deal to anyone, and it's only [$$$]!! I absolutely don't believe it!! ... Read more
