Loaded with fun!
This is the best game we have ever found and the only one our family can totally agree on playing! With no right or wrong answers, we just get to know each other better as we play the game. Terrific!

loaded questions is cool
Loaded questions is a really fun game. The only time it's not fun is when some people lie in it. I think it's more fun with the more people you have playing, especially with family members. Overall I think that Loaded Questions is one of the funniest games ever made.

Great get-to-know-you game.
This is a great game for getting to know how others think and what they like.

Game Night Star!!!
I just recently got a hold of one of these games and took it to our church's game night. The game was the hit of the whole night. People left and right were asking me where I got it from. They told me it was "so fun".

I don't know about you, but when your teenage daughters are having fun playing a game--it has to be a great game. It's a great way to get to know people whom you don't know all that well and still have a great time.

Buy it, try it, and have lots of fun.

yum
more of a free form game, but with a board; good insights into others through uncommon questions and situations; thought you knew even your closest family members...this reveals sides you didn't even know were there and confirms other fun facts, a getting to know you game; that is if people play sincerely instead of just to win. ... Count on Trivial Pursuit to keep up with new millennium trends. This tremendously popular game has been updated with a fun DVD feature that allows players to view TV clips, songs, commercials, movie scenes, and more tidbits from pop culture. As in the original Trivial Pursuit game, two to four adult players (or teams) pose questions to one another in six categories, in this case TV, Fads, Buzz, Music, Movies, and Sports & Games. As they correctly answer questions, players move around the board, collecting colored wedges. To win a scoring wedge, though, players must answer an on-screen question with a variety of visual cues. So rev up those pop culture engines and get ready to come up with the name of Big Star's first record or the candy Ronald Reagan favored. The game includes game board, DVD, 400 question-and-answer cards, one die, four cute tokens (lava lamp, mixed tape entitled "Awesome Mix/Makeout Tunes," cell phone, and joystick), 30 scoring wedges, and instructions. Note: although the game features over 2,000 new questions, only a few hundred of them are DVD questions, leading to inevitable repetition. --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Worst Trivial Pursuit Game to Date
Big dissapointment. Trivial Pursuit is our favorite game and we love to keep up with pop culture, but we will probably never play this game again. The questions are really off the wall and you can't play twice without getting the same video questions. Played with several groups of people - parents (in their 50's) and friends in their 20's - no one liked the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Trivial Pursuit Game Yet!
I purchased this game baecause it looked so fun...especially with the DVD included. I played the 20th century Trivial Pursuit Game and did not like it at all. Game took way too long and most of the questions were from another planet. This game is SO fun! It's updated with new and fresh questions, and the DVD with additional questions..all about pop culture makes this game perfect for generations X and Y! Definitely worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fast & Fun!
Great fun for adults & teens in the family, older generation coudln't quite keep up. Fast-paced game, DVD is the highlight with the "All Play" feature keeping everyone's attention. Highly recommended, great gift for anyone.

3-0 out of 5 stars Its a good game!
When i bought this game i was excitied to play. Right away my family started playing the game and we had a great time, but after playing it for so long it got kind of boring! If you use the DVD it will repeate questions after playing it more than once. We have used the cards but it is more fun with the DVD! I would recomend it if you looking for something to keep people busy!

3-0 out of 5 stars Trivial Pursuit At It's Fullest
Why is everyone harping on the fact that the DVD repeats questions??? I mean, it does, but if you want to, you can play the game like regular Trivial Pursuit and not use the DVD. But personally, I think that it's well worth the extra ten or so dollars to have the DVD. Personally, I could sit and play with the disc alone for almost and hour. Actually, sometimes when my family's lazy, we do just that.

Think of what you're getting for that extra ten dollars.....

*You're getting the cooler game pieces. (A cell phone, a cassette, a joystick and a lava lamp)

*You're getting the DVD, which for the questions, shows clips of movies and stuff like that.

*You're getting the pop culture questions

and there may even be some things that I can't think of, though I don't think so.

Even though the DVD DOES repeat, the game is well worth it in my opinion. In some cases with a game like this, I would recommend you play it somewhere first, before you buy it, but in this case, I don't think that is necessary. ... Read more

That iMAgiNiff was developed by two brothers (in Australia) makes perfect sense, because this is a board game you'll want to share with family and friends. It's simple to play. A set of names is chosen, usually the name of every player plus those of several absent friends. When it's your turn, one name is selected as the subject of the question. You pick a card--one of hundreds--that poses a question and six possible answers (for example, "Imaginiff _____ were a crime. Which would he/she be?"). Read the question aloud, plugging in the subject's name. Then read out the six answers (in this case, they range from "homicide" to "indecent exposure"). Each player picks an answer to fit the subject; those who have picked the most popular answer move forward. But though you win by advancing, winning is obviously not the point: laughter and arguments are. The questions on the cards range from the ridiculous ("Imaginiff _____ were a body part.") to the provocative ("Imaginiff _____ had to decide which of the following values is most important."). The game is a fun cross between Scruples and True Colors. --Elisa Murray ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars iMAgiNiff - Find out what your friends think of you
I played iMAgiNiff last night for the first time. It was a blast. It is a great way for friends to find out what they think of each other. Many of the questions sparked lively discussions.

We had less than 8 people playing so we filled in some famous people in the extra spots. That added a cool twist to the game.

I can't wait to play with my family. But I don't think I am ready to play with the in-laws.

Great Family Game
Some games are so competitive that it spoils the fun. Not this one. It is so much fun to play that you don't really care who wins. We played with our adult children at Christmas and laughed until we cried. It is a great bonding experience!

A great game!
Imaginiff will get your mind cranking...If Fred was an animal...what would he be??? Gather round with your friends and see how well you know them...and the people you are playing with! Great for birthday parties, family gatherings, or just a friday night with the dinner gang. This game will definitely get your imagination going!

Awesome!!!
I played this game with a group of adult family members and we had a blast! It's so much fun to play and some of the choices are hilarious. It's sometimes scary how "dead-on" a question or choice might be, too. I love to play games with family and would definitely recommend this one! It's great because you can play with such a large age group...our group ranged from 18 to 55. Definitely worth picking up for the holidays!

A great bame
My family and I had a great ime playing it. My brother is 15 and usually he doesnt like being seen in public with us, but he loved this game, and when it was done, he asked to play again. when you play, you really find out who knows you the best, and at the same time, find out things about your friends and family you didnt know about:) ... Great Game
If you were born between 1965 and 1980, you MUST own this game. The set-up of the game is good, but the questions are great. You will have a blast remembering some of the crazy songs/people/movies of the 80s. Big hair not required.

This game rocks !!
I realize that a lot of people won't know all of the information from the game, but for our family it just made "family time" all the better. The four of us grouped up in two teams and played for almost 3 hours straight the first time around! It was great to remember some of the answers and to learn others. Now I just have to learn sports a little more ?! ha ha ha. If anyone just wants to have a good time, even if you don't know it all, try this game out. Have a large party at your house and play. I truly believe you'll have a great time !!

Trivia With A Twist - Fun, Fun, Fun
This is a fantastic board game which is a load of fun. What you do is attempt to move through each year of the 80s (1981, 1982, 1983 etc)... although the year is really rather arbitrary. You answer questions and when you land on the "exit the year" space, you are asked a question and must determine whether or not it happened in the year of the space you are on. For example: You might be sitting on 1982 and the question will be "Top Gun was Released in this Year".

The questions are fair, fun, and of a pleasant mix. My wife and I enjoy playing this game even alone.... so it is fun for 2 or more.

From a person with a collection of 200+ games, I give this game a "Highly Recommend".

not as fun as the reviews make it sound...
I added this item to my wishlist (and received it as a gift) after reading all the positive reviews. But after playing the game with three others, I didn't get a lot out of it. The others who played with me didn't enjoy it, either.

Part of the problem is that I grew up in the 80's, but was probably too young to remember some of the things that happened. (I graduated high school in 1997.) But I also felt that the questions were phrased funny and were hard to read and although the game shouldn't be completely simple, some of the questions were really obscure.

So, if you were teenage or above in the 1980's, go for it. You'll probably enjoy it. But for today's early to mid-twenties crowd, I would recommend that you pass on this one.

A blast from the past
I could not wait to get home to play, and it did not dissapoint. Graduating in the early 80s, I considerd my self a expert. There are great questions, and I learned a few things that I had no idea happend. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Party Game - Everyone Plays Every Round!
This is a fantastic party game. With so many different card categories and some many questions, we play it time and time agian. The game definitely has staying power, especially at parties. Playing board games at parties can sometimes get stale when people have to wait their turn. Mystify allows every player (except the card reader - which rotates) to play every round. Once the timer is turned, players race against eachother to solve the scramble. Whoever answers correctly advances on the board. Each question comes with a clue and it depends on the card category as to what the clue is. This keeps the game extremely interesting. The most fun of all is when two players blurt out an answer at the same time. This is a challenging, fun and educational game - We definitely reccomend it! I really love this game!

Good Fun.
We played Mystify at our recent game night with friends and family. Here is the scoop. Mystify is a game based around word and number scrambles. The object of the game is to be the first to solve the word or number scramble. There are 5 different card categories and for each category hints are given as to what the scramble might be. For instance, hints might be - Literary Figure; Popular First Name; Brand Name Product; Popular 70's Movie; Living Creature; Part of a human body, etc. The card reader reads out the letters or numbers (which are scrambled) and players race against each other to solve the scramble. Whoever blurts out the answer first wins the round and is able to advance on the board. The great thing about this game is that everyone plays every round. This keeps all players interested and with a vested interest in paying attention at all times. Since everyone plays at the same time this is a fantastic party game. You really can't go wrong if you want an all inclusive game to play at your game nights!

Don't miss this one.
We love word games, but all word games are based around forming words -- this game changes all that. The premise of the game is based around solving word scrambles and number scrambles. There is a clue provided with each category so that the players know what direction to look in. I highly recommend this game.

I lover racing for the answer!
This is a party game if I ever did see one. Everyone plays every round so nobody is bored waiting for their turn. The board is a simple race track and sometimes we leave the baord at home and play this in the car. All players race to solve the scramble and the categories provide not only different subject areas but varying levels of difficulty. The 'numbers' category is an interesting twist. Good, old fashion fun and a refreshing change to some of the mindless game out there -- I recommend it. I love word games and this is one of the best.

Clear your throat and drink that honey-lemon tea: It's time toplay Encore, the game of dueling larynxes. The goal is to come up witha song that contains particular words--and then sing lines from thesong that contains those words. Here's how it works: The first teamturns up a card featuring five words; the two teams then take turnssinging at least six words of any song that contains one of those five. The round continues until one team is stumped, which, if the word is"love," could take a while. But repetition is not allowed, and forevery "said" and "moon," there's a "highway" or "piano"--whaddya dowhen you've exhausted the Billy Joel songbook? And it's great to draw alyric that's in a song title, but if you don't know five others thatcome after, you'll be like the player who drew "nice"; he spent theentire run of the sand timer with his shoulders hunched like Sinatrabecause he couldn't connect "and let's make all the stops along theway" with the song's title, "Nice 'N' Easy." Oh, and don't play Encorewith Renaissance Faire actors--when they draw the word "lady," they'llcome up with an inexhaustible supply of 15th-century madrigals. 4-0 out of 5 stars Great game, depending who you play with
The premis for this game is intruiging and fun -- to be able to come up with a song that has lyrics that use words identified by the game.

The reason I gave the game 4 stars, however, is that I had an awful experience the first time I played the game. Here's the scoop...the group I played with included my father-in-law (a country music singer) and young brother-in-law (a rap fan). They repeatedly claimed and sang songs and tunes I had never heard of. I'm not saying that any cheating went on, but I was so far out of the loop about the songs they were choosing that there was no way to tell who was winning and who was losing. Well, OK, I was losing.

This can be a fun game if played with your musical peers. It can be a major disaster otherwise.

I hope this insight helps someone out there.

Favorite Board Game
My family LOVES this game. You never know where your inspiration will come from; in my house we've gone from Sinatra to Dead Kennedys to vacation bible school songs. You spend as much time laughing as singing! Forget musical talent! As long as you know the words and can closely approximate the tune, you're golden.

The Best Game Ever
We are big game players and have never had more fun with any other game. It's great for a party of adults, for adults with kids, for college kids...whatever. People always talk about it weeks after we play. Our middle school son and his friends will always join in if they see us playing with friends which says a great deal!! We've played with all of our friends, our kids, both sets of parents (!), relatives, my minister, people from other countries and people we didn't know at all. I would say it's the perfect icebreaker but you won't stop playing. LOL They put the board back in which is great. There should be a tv show! Our 17 year old would be world champ!

Love it!
This has been a favorite game of mine for years. I've played it with many friends and they always love it. It's great with a big group of people too. I'm glad to see it's available again.

Encore is a terrific name!
You'll want to play this game again and again. It works with a few people and it works with a crowd of 100. My parents love it, my teenage sons love it, and my friends went out and bought their own. You'll be thinking about it days later and looking forward to the next time. I've given alot as gifts and people are always excited by it. College kids go nuts over it. Trust me, you won't regret getting one. (or two, or three...) ... Read more

The game is called Wit's End, which is just where you mightfind yourself when playing this lively contest of lateral, literal, andlevel-lifting thinking. Players try to reach the summit of the board byanswering questions in four categories such as Odd 1 Out, Teaser,Sequence, or the ever-troubling Wild Card--a nerve-jangling catchallfor trivia, slang, quotations, and time-limited queries. Wit's End istougher than most trivia-based games, and it's deceptive, too. Playersneedn't answer all categories to win, so how tough can it be to move upthe board? Well, for every "Arrange Jaws, The Sting, andStar Wars by release date" there's a "Borneo is to 3, asHispanola is to: 1, 2, 3, or 4?" (And it's got nothing to do withnumber of syllables--we peeked.) If you can name four Europeancountries starting with S (while an opponent counts to 30), canyou do as well with "millimeter is to centimeter, as chain is to: link, decimeter, furlong, or ounce"? There's also an optional "Sorry!"feature that allows you to bounce an opponent down a level for correctanswers to certain questions. Smart and sophisticated, with asoupçon of luck, Wit's End is a game to challenge both greatwits and those only halfway there. --Tony Mason ... Read more

It's not that great
I put this game on my wishlist because I love board games (especially trivia games and brain teasers), and the reviews for this game were outstanding for the most part.

But this game is boring. It takes for-freaking-ever to finish. You have to wait around while the other player reads his/her own questions. And it's cheap-looking.

I suggest you buy another game. There are a million trivia games that are more fun than this one.

best trivia game by far!
I've played Wit's End several times in the past month and highly recommend it to those who are tired of mindless board games. This one is a keeper. The questions are tough, but the multiple-choice format is an excellent way to overcome the level of difficulty. The material is far-reaching and superbly presented. This game is a classic! If you are a reader, student, professional, or even mildly curious about the world around you, then buy this game.

Fun for all demographics
Despite some strange reviews to the contrary, this game will appeal to anyone who enjoys trivia games, whether you live near a coast or not. It is a fun and clever twist on traditional trivia games, but it's not impossibly difficult. Even people who live in Alabama, Kentucky, or Nebraska will find this game enjoyable.

Vermont Yankees Could Learn A Thing Or Two
Wow....I'm amazed that prejudice towards the South is still rampant. Hopefully, Wit's End will entertain as well as educate our Yankee friends!

Not For The Faint of Heart
Wow! This is a great game. Finally, while the kids are off playing pictionary, us adults have something fun that will show off what we know. As a few reviewers have indicated, steer clear of this game if you enjoy watching Ricky Lake, Oprah, Soap Operas, Temptation Island, Average Joe, or Joe Millionaire. There aren't many questions about these shows and watching them sucks the smarts right outta ya. So, enjoy this game with your family and don't get sucked into the junk on TV. ... Read more

What food gives Popeye strength? What country calls its native inhabitants "aborigines"? What street sport sees cuts and scrapes from falls called "munchies"? Answer correctly and you just might score a wedge in the junior version of the wildly popular Trivial Pursuit. Using the same game play as the adult edition--players move their pieces around the board, answering questions in hopes of collecting all six scoring wedges--this kid-friendly format includes categories just for the 8-and-older crowd. Young trivia buffs will be challenged and entertained by this lively game of wits and memory. But the real fun comes when adults try to join the game. So, Pop, what are Wakko, Yakko, and Dot better known as? The game, for two to four players or teams, includes a 20-by-20-inch folding gameboard, question-and-answer cards, dice, four tokens, and 24 scoring wedges. 5-0 out of 5 stars An awesome game for kids to play
I have played Trivial Pursuit and couldn't get my hands off it! Its fun, cool, and best of all the questions are just right for kids.Buy it now, and make you kids smarter!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for the Family!
My 7-year-old daughter and I love to play this game together. She is learning so much from it! We've played it so many times that we really need new questions, though.

Okay for very young ones
(I'm writing from the perspective of a 35 year-old.) You don't get a whole lot of questions (two small decks), and we have come across a few that do not match the category they are supposed to represent (e.g., a question about painters in the "games" category). The game seems to have been put together quickly and cheaply. You don't get plastic "pie" pieces as in the adult version, you get cardboard slices that you set on top of pictures of the pies that are drawn on the corners of the gameboard (not a major complaint but the colors of the drawings exactly match the colors of the cardboard pie-slice markers, making it hard to see them). The questions include multiple choice answers, so it's accordingly easier to get them. Of course you can simply omit the choices when reading the questions if you want to increase the level of difficulty. It's not a bad game, but it's not an excellent game either. Middle of the road. Probably best for kids under 12.

FUN GAME
This is a very fun game. No offense to anyone, but the person that said that these questions are for five-year-olds is definetely wrong, unless that person is a genious. Most of the questions are NOT very easy. OK, some are kind of simple, but most are pretty hard. There are all kinds of different questions, that some people who are watch football and baseball all day would probably know. I highly reccomend this game. It's a fun way to get smart.

Awesome game to play with your kids!

It Got the Party Started!
My brother borrowed my Fact or Crap game, after I told him how much fun my husband and I had with it with our friends (We are in our low 30's). My brother and his friends are in their 20's.
He threw it in the trunk of his car, where it sat for weeks! One night, he was at a party with his girlfriend and it was pretty lame. My brother remembered the game in the trunk and brought in and everybody started playing it. It really sparked conversation and there were all different ages and types of people there. The party really came to life and it turned out to be a fun night. My brother said that people even learned a lot while playing. And...That's a fact!

* * Very Fun Game * *
Fun game that will give you lots of laughs!!

* Just Plain Fun *
This is a great game if you just want a simple night to kick back and have lots of fun and laughs.I am in my 20's and play this when we have family gatherings or when my friends and I are just hangin' at home for the night. We love it and always have such a blast while playing it.

not worth it
boring - a one note game. this could have been a card game - i thought it would be more involved. when you guess something correctly, you get a token and once the tokens are gone, you count them up and whoever has the most wins. the only twist is a kind of lightning round, but it's not enough to keep it interesting. the questions are cute, but the novelty wears off sooner than later.

Balderdash is more fun...sitting around without a game and talking is more fun.

Get Hooked
If you love trivia, you have got to get this game! It's fast, easy, and there is no board to have to deal with. You can play singles or doubles. I just wish there were additional cards that we can buy as we have gone through all the cards several times. You will have hours of fun, but I feel the questions are too hard for children. ... THIS GAME IS SO FUN...MY FAMILY (PARENTS IN THEIR 50S, KIDS IN THEIR LATE 20S) LOVES IT! WE PLAYED IT DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND HAD FUN REMEMBERING TV RERUNS, GREAT SONGS AND MOVIES...I RECOMMEND IT

disco fever all over again!
you've got to get this game -- having spent the majority of my twenties living in the decade that brought us disco, this game really brought us back in time. the questions were really challenging, interesting and the best thing about is that there are so many questions that i'm sure we'll enjoy this game for quite a while. i would recommend this game to anyone who grew up in the 70's or anyone who is just plain nostalgic of this magicial decade. now that i found it, i think it might be showing up under a few trees of my friends and family this season! enjoy!

perfect for a night with old friends
I had some old high school friends over for dinner and wine. I had found the 70's game the week before and thought it would be a perfect after dinner activity. We all loved it and were surprised at how much we could remember!!! We've decided to have our next dinner party be a 70's theme and dress accordingly and play the game again.

interesting trivia questions...
Played this game with my parents and their friends and it was a hoot. The questions ranged from fairly easy to tough, but everyone knew something. One cool thing about this game is that every question pertains to a specific year (e.g. Q: This actor first stars as Re-run on What's Happening? A: Fred Berry - 1976) Trying to remember when things happened during the 1970s was challenging (although the game doesn't ask you to name exact years). I would recommend this game for playing in a group.

Gimme a friggin break this game is money
If you like trivia games and you are a fan of the 70's, this game is pure genius! Since I suck at pop culture, this game made me feel incredibly stoopid--but even total morons like me can totally enjoy the game. The best is the music category--the questions will have you singing the tunes all night long... Get it done--whatever it takes. ... Read more

Family game player
We played Phoney Baloney five or six times last week. Once for a party and the other times as a family. Once we didn't even finish the game because we started talking about one of the subjects in the game. We also use the cards as topics for our home schooling. We received our game as a gift, then later gave two as gifts to our friends. The only thing that could be improved is the card holder. It's no big deal and doesn't change the game, but it should be made of plastic instead of card board. The rest is great.

5-0 out of 5 stars A rivalry of knowledge!
Outwit and outsmart your opponents, but not with the right answer. This time, you have to choose the wrong answers. The more answers that you get that are wrong, the more points you get. Confusing, right? Not at all. You get on a roll going as fast as you can to beat your opponents for an intriguing and fun game. Plus, this helps you understand the rule of elimination. So even if you don't know the right answer, you can choose the ones that you know are obviopusly wrong. Or you can just geuss.

Just like you did on your tests at school, right?

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than Trivia Pursuit
Phoney Baloney gives interesting facts before asking the question. These facts, as well as that all players participate on every turn, has led to fun family times and good discussions. It's also the only game I know where there can be more than one winner. Phoney Baloney is a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Family Fun!
This game is pure fun! We have a busy family life with not much free time. I do like trivia and learning new things so I bought it. Our 16 year old played with my husband and I. It was the first time in a while we all had a good time together. The game is challanging and moves quickly. Everyone is playing at every turn so there is no boredom. The subjects are so interesting that you end up discussing them during each move. This is a great game and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves!

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally, a thinking persons game!
I've played most every party game and trivia game and found Phoney Baloney to be more inviting and far more interesting. The subjects were very clever, and having everyone play at the same time kept the whole group entertained. This game seems to get people talking, and I like that. The game pieces with the moving eyes were fun. ... Read more

REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMES!
We had the pleasure of playing FOR THE RECORD 80's-90's with some family and friends. We played using teams to try to pool our knowledge. The packaging and graphics are very well done. It has a double-necked guitar game path covered with 80's-90's images. You feel like you've gone back in time. The multiple choice format was very helpful as some of our memories aren't what they used to be. One of the teams chose not to use the multiple choice answers on their turns for an extra challenge. The categories are "80's","90's", "Mosh Pit", "You're On Stage" and the toughest ones, "One Hit Wonder" and "Real Name". We had fun because the game requires a mix of luck and skill. The questions range from easy to very difficult, so there was something for everybody. Nobody felt left out! We played three times that night averaging about 45-50 minutes per game (with alot of singing and air guitar thrown in). Our place was rockin' and we can't wait to play again. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!

Way to Easy
Maybe I know way to much about music and if you are like me do NOT buy this game. It is way to easy. The questions were not challenging at all. 4 of us played and we finished in about 15 minutes. For real music fans this game is terrible. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Trivial pursuit of 1980's & 90's songs
Looking for a fun game that covers the broad spectrum of music from the 1980s-1990s? Here it is!

You get 600 music trivia question cards with multiple choice answers. The questions cover everything from rap to reggae, alternative to country, pop to punk and more. The game board looks like an electric guitar and features a mosh pit, and many of the questions are injected with humor, so it's a real attention-grabber at parties. The multiple choice format makes the game challenging enough for trivia buffs, yet equally fun for people who simply love music. We are a pretty hardcore group of fans of eighties music, so we made the game even more difficult by not offering the multiple choice answers. You can involve as many people as you want to if you make teams. You can have four players or teams altogether. Depending on how much time you spend talking and laughing, one game can take about 45 minutes to an hour to play. For the Record is a great way to get friends and family to hang out and have a totally awesome time reminiscing and remembering. ... Read more

You wont be disapointed!!!
As a child I use to play 20 questions with my grandparents all of the time. I bought this game for me and my family and wow I was so happy! The questions are great and its better than actually playing without the board game. Its hours of fun and is made so nicely. Would be a great gift or to keep yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly addictive.
I first played this game at a friends house over New Year's. It was such a delight to play!

The first player draws a card. Each card represents a person, place, thing, or year. At the top of the card is the answer and what category it falls in. The rest of the card contains twenty clues. The next player selects a number between 1 and 20 and marks the board so that no other players will ask for the same clue. The player with the card will read the clue aloud. The player asking for the clue gets one guess. If he/she is wrong, the next player asks for a clue and marks off the board that number.

Play continues around the board until either someone guesses correctly the identity of the card, or all twenty questions are exhausted. Once the card is revealed the correct guesser gets to move ahead as many spaces as the unasked clues. In other words, the few clues you need, the farther you'll move on the board. The person with the card is awarded a number of spaces corresponding to the number of asked questions. So, the more clues revealed, the farther they will move on the board.

Here is an example of a clue card (I'm a thing)... 1. I was invented in 1868. 2. I'm usually found on the rocks. 3. My colors are red and white. 4. I am sometimes associated with narcotics. 5. I'm a classic. 6. What I am made of is a closely guarded secret.

The answer is...

Coca Cola.

This is a marvelously fun and educational game to play. I highly recommend this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Family Bonding Game
When we first received this game as a gift, the old 20-questions format didn't exactly excite us. But we are gamers, so three generations sat down around the table to check it out. Boy, did we have fun! In fact, we played it twice in a row.

Although younger players are at a slight disadvantage overall, they still earn points on their turn as the "Reader." And the game is definitely up-to-date with pop culture questions that teens will know while stumping the older crowd.

The game is organized into people, places, things and dates categories, dates being, by far, the most difficult and one you might want to skip when playing with the kids. A typical round might go as follows. Let's say you have an "I Am a Place" card and the first player choses Clue # 7, "I am fourth in line." The turn goes to the next player if the first player's guess is incorrect. Clue #17 says, "Some people mistake me for a star." Clue #2 says, "I am not sun burnt, but I am red." (Players pick which clue the Reader reads.) By now you may have guessed that the answer is the planet Mars. Players move along a game board depending on how many clues it took before they guessed correctly.

Imagine the fun when you get to the TeleTubbies, George Clooney or Dracula cards. Definitely a good addition for gaming families! ... Read more

Relive 90's Memories
Not only is the 90's Game fun and enjoyable to play, but the questions and answers bring back lasting memories of movies, sports, TV shows and meaningful events from the decade. Correctly answering questions by relating them to personal memories and experiences allows all players to relive their experiences from the 90's. Whether you were a student, young adult or parent during the 90's, this game is sure to invoke sentimental feelings. I highly recommend it for groups of friends and families.

90's Game Rocks
After the torrential rains of June, I bought the 90's game this summer as a rainy day activity for my beach house. But we didn't just play the 90's game on rainy afternoons, my housemates were itching to play this game when they woke up, on the beach and before going out at night. The 90's game is a fun game for groups -- never a dull moment, even if you didn't watch every re-run of 90210 and Melrose Place! Everyone can dominate at least some of the categories -- whether you are a music buff, sports fiend, movie aficionado or TV nut -- but it's never too easy to win, nor too difficult to cause boredom.

Great Time - Tough Questions
The box of The 90's Game reads, "The 90's are Back." Although, I didn't think they'd really been gone all that long - I still had a tough time remembering the diner from "Saved By The Bell" (The Max, by the way). Regardless, this is much more fun than other trivia games, because even though you remember all the shows, music, movies, etc. from the past decade (as opposed to say stuff from the fities and sixties) - the answers lie in the details - which often are just on the tip of your tongue. The last time I played included a mixed group (some trivia buffs some clueless tag-alongs) and there was enough in there to please both sets. Great time had by all.

A must have...
If you were conscious in the '90s, this game is a must have. The events and personalities covered is incredible. I couldn't believe some of the things I forgot. Or, sometimes more surprisingly, some of the things I remembered (like the names of all the members of the New Edition, I'm ashamed to say). I'm not much of a board game person, but this one has me hooked.

Great game!
After buying and playing the 80s game, I was pysched to learn about the new release of the 90s game. I just bought it and played it with a group of friends and we all loved it. I graduated from high school in '94, and although the 80s game was super fun, my friends and I thought this game's questions were a lot more relevant. The 90s game questions were easy to understand, and as we read more questions, we found ourselves remembering so much of our stupid high school idiosyncrasies and "fetishes"--like who was hotter--Dylan or Brandon? ... Brad parks, Phil Esposito, Mark Messier, Steve Vickers, Tomas Sandstrom, Marcel Dionne, Adam Graves and Wayne Gretsky all have what in common? First they all play hockey and secondly they all played for the New York Rangers.Describe Rush Limbaugh using any word you want. Now try to do the same thing in one word or better yet no words, think you can? If so then you are ready to play Time's Up by RNR Games, the game that has you winning by collecting the most names in the three rounds.

Following the easy directions, you deal out 40 cards between the players, make sure every player has the same number a cards, pick either the yellow or blue names and begin the fun. While the games ages are 12 and up, some of the names may be a little advanced for the younger players.

Round one you can use any word(s) to describe the name but you can't pass. Round 2 1 words clues gives you 1 guess per clue and passing is allowed. Round 3 is the best of all, with pantomimes and noises, again 1 guess per name and passing is allowed.

You get 30 seconds per team per round; you can change this to more time to add even more fun. Also the number of cards dealt out can increase for even more points. The game is broken down into 8 categories from Artist to Writer and you have easy to hard names. RNR Games has done it again!

Time is never up for Time's Up
This game is amazing. College students, this is where it's at! So much fun and there's no stopping the insanity!! I would reccomend this game to everyone, it's great for parties, entertaining, sitting around with friends, whatever. Totally amazing!

Great party game
I bought this game to take on a trip we were taking with another couple. At night people would congregate around the outdoor bar. We got several people to play and we had so much fun! From that night on while we were there people would gather at the bar to play Times Up. It's a great game and good for alot of laughs! I do think it is an adult game as by the 3rd round the gestures can get a little obscene for kids!

Great fun!
The box says that it's for 12+, but I find that more often than not, this game is for adults. I bought this game two years ago because that evening, I was hosting a party and needed something to spice things up. I had no idea what it was really about but the directions seemed interesting. Needless to say, we had a blast that night and every other time that we played the game.

The game proceeds in three rounds and played with teams. The object of the game is to try to get your teamates to guess as many famous people as you can. The people range from authors, poets, artistis, musicians, actors, even fictional characters. The first round, you can say and do anything. The second round, you can only say ONE word and pantomine the rest. The last and hardest round, you can't say a single word. Everything has to be acted out.

Yes, it's not a totally orginal idea and yes, there will be famous people whom you've never heard of! Don't let that stop you though! Even if you don't know who the celebrity is, there are ways that you can still get your teammates to guess them. Also, there is a little booklet that comes with the game that explains who everyone is/was.

In short, whenever we play, I laugh so hard my sides start to hurt and my cheeks start to ache! You'll find your friends (and even yourself!) doing the zaniest things! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Games for the thinking family
I am not normally a game player - board games have always been my downfall.

This is a exception and one that I'm sending to my nieces and nephews. Fast moving, makes you think and interact and perhaps best of all for someone like me who is over 40, let's me get revenge on my kids since video game "twitch skills" don't figure in!

This game is good for proving intellectual superiority!!
Trivial Pursuit Know-It-All Edition provides yet another beautiful opportunity to spend 5 or so hours competitively debating inane factoids! If you purchase Trivial Pursuit with a credit card--instead of a signature--try: "I'm petty" or "I care about stupid things" or "I like to be right" or "I think I know everything" or "I don't believe in intuition" or how about "I believe there is such thing as an objective truth." Then you can go out and take some Standardized tests for fun and then dash back home to play some more know-it-all.

2-0 out of 5 stars What a Waste of Money...
Although the game is entitled "Know it All" Edition, I was bitterly disappointed with the level of difficulty. Expecting a challenge, I was greeted with the same old junior high school type general knowledge questions. What made things worse, was that after only one and one half games, the other player and I had already come back to the beginning of the deck. This edition would have been more aptly called, " A Few More of the Same Questions for an Exhorbitant Price".

1-0 out of 5 stars Complete waste of money
You're paying ... for half a handful of trivial pursuits that you'll exhaust in one game. In addition, the questions aren't at the same level as normal Genus edition -- they ask questions about people and things you probably haven't heard of. Jeopardy champions would have difficulty answering these questions. ... Read more

cousinpaco is unbeatable at this game!!!
If the new edition of "Movie Mania" is even close to being as cool as the original, it's a definite 5-star item (hence the fact that I gave it five stars--well, fifteen, actually). I'm thrilled to be the first person to review it!

The game consists of quotes, trivia questions and other stuff that you have to answer to move around the board. Once you succesfully answer a question from each category, you win! Really, there are no losers!

I received the original version as a gift from my chum chatchi, and we had hours of fun playing it. We're quite well-versed in movies, as you can tell by reading some of our other reviews. My only complaint is that the original version had too many questions and quotes from movies that I'd never heard of, including one starring Michael Biehn (I can't remember the title).

So when you need a break from actually watching movies, you can play this game and keep your movie-game-skills sharp. ... Read more

It was fun and stupid!
I got this game for my birthday. As soon as i opened it i had 2 play it.So we sat atthe table playin this game.It was fun but the answers were way to easy we ended up with everybody gettin every answer right so we just had 2 stop.I wish i could of played it longer but it got so boring i had to start playin herd your horses.A game a got last year for my birthday! So if u could make the game questions a little harder i would enjoy iy a lot lot more!
Thx

Awsome game
I havn't had that much of a chance to play this game but it is great. It is a trivia game for all horse lovers. you can play with up to four people. you have to answer enough questions of diffferent catagories such as care and riding to win.

don't waste your money...
The Breyer HORSE SENSE game is not worth a dollar. The questions are not challenging at all!!! Even little kids will find it silly! For example (from the cards): WHAT IS AN EQUINE VETERNARIAN? a. a duck doctor b. a water scientest c. a vet who specializes in horses\WHAT IS A HORSE'S DIET COMPOSED OF? a. cotton candy and soda, b. chips and candy, c. grains and bulk foods? A HORSE USES ITS TAIL TO? a. brush its teeth b. swish off flies c. look pretty.
As you can see, HORSE SENSE is really not worth ANYTHING! Don't waste your money, get HERD YOUR HORSES.

Breyer 'Horse Sense' Game
I enjoy playing with this game very much, some of the answers to the questions are FUNNY!!! Navigate around a colorful game board with a miniature cardboard Breyer model, and answer questions along the way from four different categories. For every category you correctly answer a question for, you get one of the four pieces of a first place ribbon. The first player that collects the whole ribbon and gets back to the barn first is the winner!! I reccomend this game to any horse lover. ... Read more
