Editorial Review

Nothing gets a kid's attention like a fire engine racing by, and nowhere's a bright red version that's pleasingly kid size. The Fire Engine for Twois bright red, 31 inches long, 32 inches tall, and made of tough and ruggedplastic. The ignition key turns with a satisfying ratchety sound, the steeringwheel rotates, and the front wheels are entirely mobile, making quick turns andsudden reversals a snap. It's powered, in the best Flintstones tradition, byyour little one's feet moving under the seat, and there's an extra seat in backfor a friend to ride along. Like any proper emergency vehicle, it also has asiren and flashing red light, located right on the dashboard, that activate withthe press of a button. Whether it's an emergency run to the cookie jar or a dollthat needs a trip to the hospital, the Fire Engine for Two will get a couple ofkids going in a hurry. --John Longenbaugh ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Wheels do not turn
We bought this for our 2 year old who loves these ride on toys. Unfortunately we had to return the item because the wheels do not turn without assistance and therefore the child and parent becomes very frustrated very quickly because it does not move around as it should.

1-0 out of 5 stars Step II replacement tires
A favorite of preschoolers, but the wheels bust long before the body shows any signs of wear. We have bought Step II and Little Tykes Riding Toys-- the only difference, the Step II company is much kinder and much more helpful in sending replacement wheels. Wheels should be included with all of these toys, optional for an additional cost, of course.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
I didn't buy this toy new, but it's still in perfect condition. The previous owners kept it outside, so there was some faiding and it was dirty. I gave it a good washing and now my cousin's little guys (two and five years old) just love it. Extreamly adorable. We got a Fireman's hat and the to little guys take turns wearing the hat and driving while the other rides in the back. I love Step 2 toys. Very durable. For the two year old's birthday I got him a Step 2 motercysle. Him and his brother just love it, although they fight over who's going to use it... My cousin said at nights she has to put it on a high shelf in the gurage, or the boys will get up and play with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Firetruck Happy
Bought this for my 16mth old son, He absolutely loves it. Have not had any trouble with it. The only negative things I can say is the sticker for the pretend redlights on top keeps peeling off ( the cop car had real red/blue lights on top) And the second thing is it has no doors so be careful when turning they can and WILL fall out and hit their head on the driveway!Got back up and ready to go again. But he just loves it, The price was reasonable, shipping was high, But it was a good investment, we keep it in the garage out of the weather, so it has held together great. So overall I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a ride on Firetruck for their kids, Oh the back seat is great too, he rides in both places. They never get tired of being pushed so be ready for lots of pushing/pulling fun. Works great on concrete,grass,asphalt... Assembly was Very Easy.

5-0 out of 5 stars to difficult to use
We purchased this for our daughter who saw one in a store that we could not get her out of it. Of course then when we bought it and got it home, the wheels do not turn easily! Even with us having to push her around constantly in it, we have to keep bending over to straighten the wheels.A real waste of money. And very frustrating for her and us! ... Read more

Wonderful backyard fun!!!!
My son recieved this 4-wheeler from his Aunts and Uncles for his 3rd birthday. It has been the most loved present of all. He wakes up every morning wanting to go riding. He has been practicing going around all kinds of obstacles and using reverse. It is a overall wonderful toy and we Highly recomend it.

So Much Fun!!
We bought this for our 3yr. olds birthday. He absolutely LOVES it! He rides this every day. This is so much better than the littler ones because it also goes in reverse. Well worth the $$

The only downfall is that you have to recharge it at the end of the day or it won't be very powerful the next day. I highly recommend it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful toy that grows with your child!
My daughter got this toy when she was about 9 months old. She turned it around backwards and held onto the handles to learn how to walk. She would squeal with delight and do laps around our house. She was able to swing the horse around and go in another direction if she got stuck in a corner. She is now 2 1/2 and races the horse all over the house and outside. This is a great toy that was worth every penny!

5-0 out of 5 stars a great, classic toy
Before my daughter could walk, she could bang enthusiastically around the house on this horse. "Horse" naturally became one of her first words. At 15 months, it remains her favorite toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kids really love this one!
Really cute and classic looking. Both of my children loved this toy. Our children have had plenty of use out of it. Only downfall is the handles won't stay on the horse. We had to replace them for the second child. But other than that it is a nice toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Handle grip broke after 2 yrs but....
A great toy. Lots of fun time spent riding on our hardwood floors. But when 2nd child started to use the 2 yr old toy the handles broke. Radio Flyer is replacing them for a 3$charge.

5-0 out of 5 stars A walking tool
My son received this before he began walking. It literally helped him learn balance and how to walk. He's now almost 19 mos. and zooms through the house pushing it from the head. He does also ride on it occasionally. I've found it to be very sturdy; we've never had a problem with it flipping over. We just have to watch that he doesn't "ram" into furniture and walls. He's learned to "steer" it and avoid the walls and has done very well. He loves it. ... Read more

Great trucks, and a great value!
These trucks are the perfect size for my three year-old construction fanatic. The "mighty" Tonka trucks are too big for him, the "jr. basic" Tonka trucks are too small for him (though they were excellent for him in the sandbox a year ago), and the "jr. force" Tonka trucks are too flimsy for working in our tough Oklahoma dirt! These trucks have a steel body and plastic wheels and accents. The description does not contain their dimensions, so here they are...the grader is roughly 17Lx8Wx7H, and the dump truck is roughly 14Lx6Wx7H. The price is excellent, the quality is very good, and my son loves them! What a deal! ... Read more

Little ones who crave the feel of a real car will love scooting about in this sturdy aqua and yellow plastic automobile. Like the cartoon character Fred Flintstone, children use the steering wheel for direction control (front wheels turn easily) while making the car go with their foot power. Only the driver's-side door opens and children can sit on a bench-style seat with legs poking down to the ground for easy feet access. Dash accessories include a pretend car key, a beeping horn button, a decal gas gauge, and a speedometer. An ample storage compartment in the back can hold pretend tools, emergency road supplies, or simply a snack for the road. 5-0 out of 5 stars The Grand Coupe is a hit at our house!
I was a little apprehensive at first about getting this for my son's first birthday, we live in an apartment and I didn't know if this would take up too much space and end up collecting dust. But it was the best gift for him, HE LOVES IT! He loves to get in and open and close the door and the trunk also has a lid that he likes to put things in and close up (although I couldn't find my keys yesterday and looked in the trunk of the "Coupe" and there they were!). My husband was thinking our son wouldn't like it because it is difficult for such a little child to move but he loves it even if it is just sitting still! And of course daddy enjoys rolling his boy around the house in it! We also have a 4 yr. old niece who comes over to play and she has a great time in the Grand Coupe too. Rushing off to places, putting her doll into the "car seat" (the trunk with the lid open). I think this will be a favorite toy here for a long time!

5-0 out of 5 stars "A great car"!
My son has had this Grand Coupe Car for atleast 4 months. The high quality & overal shape for little tots to get in & out work out great! My 23 month old loves to get in, slam the door closed, & even turn the key that makes a click-sound. His overrall favorite part is that he loves being mobile & also if a grown-up pushes him around the house or outside. Mine gets the giggles whenever we do that. Little tikes also sells the gas pump that can attach to this car. There is a gas cap on the left side of the car. Kids get a kick out of pretending to fill up the tank! Also the feature my son also likes is the trunck in the back to store small favorite items! We are very please with this ride-in toy car! Highly recommend!

5-0 out of 5 stars Grand Coupe deserves it name!
When I was little I used to have one now I am going to get one for my brother. I work at a day care and they have one and all the kids do is fight over who gets to ride in the big boy car. It is a must have if you have a little kid. They all love it. They are probably going to buy another one for the day car because it is so popular. They got a Gamecube at the day care, but everyone still insists on using the Grand Coupe. There are kids from 6 months up to 7 years to older kids ride on top. No one has ever gotten hurt. It is the best toy. One time they where fighting over who got to go in it and they accidently pulled of the door the company sent a new door with all the hardware! It is a great buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good quality
This car seems to be really sturdy and built better than other brands. My toddlers love it and fight over who gets to ride.

5-0 out of 5 stars Discerning Toddler, with discerning Dad, highly approve
My Daughter has an elevated sense of taste, even at 2 1/2.
She liked, but didn't love, the original Cozy Coupe. She wanted the Grand Coupe, no questions. She and I ordered it from Amazon, through ToysRus. The order was simple, the delivery was exactly as forecast. The assembly was also simple, a screw gun helps, although I didn't try it without one.
As far as the car itself goes after a week or so of use....
Four thumbs up!!!!
She rides in it, watches her favorite programming in it, plays independently with it, we play together with it, if I let her she'd likely sleep in there too. She's thrilled, which, of course, means that I am thrilled.
The trunk, or rumble seat, is a big plus, you'd be surprised how much a little thing like that means to a little person. Scruffy the dog loves it back there, a ton of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and two or three juice cups fit nicely too.
I will do ANYTHING for her, if you feel thusly, buy it, it's the Benz of ride ons.
Gotta get a gas pump, mileage is not as good as we expected. Five Stars anyway.

My daughter loves it!
We got this for our daughter on her 2nd birthday and she loved it. Now she is almost 4 and still loves to ride on it. At first she didn't look where she was driving, but it didn't take long for her to master driving it. It's also much easier to steer than the jeep type that has the round steering wheel. It's held up fine over 2 years with lots of use even when the kids purposefully run into each other. The only negative thing I have to say is that it does go quite slow in the grass. It's not going to be a good choice if you want your child to ride around in the backyard on it. But we live on a cul-de-sac so it's easy for the kids to ride around in the road. I would recommend getting a second battery so you can always make sure one is charged since they do take awhile to charge (or you may end up with a temper tantrum on your hands).

Barbie Trailrider
We purchased this Barbie quad for our 4 yr. old daugher and were very unhappy with the performance. With a 6 volt battery it hardly pulled her through the grass (she is an average 40lb. 4 year old). Our two year old son was the perfect size for this toy. It had enough power to pull our daughter on the driveway, but anymore than 25-30lbs. is too much for the voltage of this particular ride-on. If you're looking for a ride-on for a child over 3yrs. of age I strongly recommend spending the extra money to get one with a 12-volt battery. It makes all the difference!!
Ours was ridden (mostly by our son) for only one summer and it will hopefully be sold in a garage sale soon. Live and learn!!!

Way underpowered
The barbie quad is way underpowered even for my 3 year old. If you want to use this off any hard surface, forget about it. It will bearly go. You're better off buying the 12 volt Kawasaki Ninja quad instead. I'm not sure why they made the girls Barbie quad 6 volt and the boys Ninja 12.

This is an excelent ride!!!!
My little girls is know 5 years, but when she was 3 Santa brought her a Power Wheels Barbie, like I said she's 5 and she still rids it I think she can use it 2 years more, she rides her brother 3 year old, this is a very good present!!!!!

she loves it............
My daugthers uncle bought this for her first birthday we did not assemble it until she was 14 months and the first time she rode it she had so much fun, I was even able to ride behind her with my legsin the air. We opted for this one because the smaller ones are such a waste of money. You just need to supervise, but it's worthevery bit of the money. ... Read more

With its fully retro design, faithfully reproduced down to thesmallest detail, this cherry-red, rubber-wheeled tricycle is anundisputed classic. Apparently they do still make them like theyused to. The rugged trike features a chrome front fender; a double-deck,step-in back (so kids can climb onto the smooth metal seat in a snap);red-and-white tassels on the rubber-coated handlebars; a 12-inch-high,steel-spoked wheel; and even an old-fashioned bell. --Paul Hughes ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Old-fashioned look, good old-fashioned training
This is not only a nostalgic cute "toy" for my generation but it is also a well-disguised tool to learn balance and control before moving onto a real bicycle for my three year-old son. It may not be the preschool plastic low-riding bike that never tips over or doesn't hurt as much when he takes a spill but it certainly reminds him that everything needs to be approached with a certain amount of knowledge, understanding and respect. Personally, I feel no toy should be played with without any parental supervision at first...it's my job as a parent and a guide to show my child the "correct" way to tackle things and then to have him challenge that and then settle on his own way. I have shown him what to do and what not to do in order to manipulate the tricycle. It's a learning experience for him to remember that he shouldn't turn the wheel fast or too extreme in order to avoid falling off. It's a firm tricycle and it feels more like a grown-up "thing" than a kid's "thing"--he likes that.

And the bell--he really likes that...you should see the proud smile on his face.

5-0 out of 5 stars The only trike I've found to fit my XL son
I had problems finding a trike/bike to fit my son who is 42 inches tall and 38 lbs at exactly 3 years old. Too heavy and too tall for the recommended age level trike/bikes out there. He lacked the developmental coordination (comfort level?)to pedal the appropriately sized bike with training wheels that we purchased. This trike is a perfect fit and he gets excited to ride it. We found ours as a display model at a local garden shop. He sat on it independently the first time and rode all around the show room (something he had never done with his bike). I also like that I don't have to worry about him outgrowing the upper weight limit before he loses interest in riding it. He is all boy so we have had to retighten a few screws every few months, but so what. We have to replace batteries and inspect his other toys on a regular basis too. Hope this review helps other parents with larger than average children.

2-0 out of 5 stars Cute for the Photo
My son received this as a gift a few years ago. It was breath-taking when we first saw it and took pictures of him on it, but he never really learned to ride it. Probably because it's sooooooooo heavy. I would not recommend this tricycle to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars a classic
i bought this trike for my son and he loves it. he is 20months old and can't really reach the pedals, but he has to work at playing with it. everything these days is too easy for kids. it is nice to see him use his physical and thinking skills to try to work this trike. i agree with other people on this page that falls will come with any riding toy especially trikes, but i remember that being part of the fun. if you want to bring back memories of your childhood (riding on the back while some else pedals), buy this trike.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tips over and bolts loosen
I bought two of these for my twin daughters who are 4-1/2 now and they still have trouble riding them.

The trike will topple over if the wheels are turned too sharply. The center of gravity is too high for small children. One of my daughters said she's rather just walk in the parade and wave a flag than learn how to ride it for the 4th of July parade. That's when I decided I need to get her a different trike if her experience has been that bad.

Also, the bolts come loose and the wheel can turn without turning the steering wheel no matter how tightly the bolts are tightened. Same with the seat - it wiggles.

The other daughter fell off the trike and the lever for the bell dug into her skin causing a bad scrape.

It's pretty and the bell has a lot of nostalgia but it hasn't been practical at all. Trike riding should feel like a joy but with these, the kids think I'm giving them a chore when I say "Let's go ride tricycles." ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this set it is wayyyyy cooler than slimecano.
I realy love this play set. It has a launcher, a swamp beast that trys to knock the cars out of the track and, a hyperpod vehicle that is used to defeat the swamp beast. On this playset the car has to keep going around the track until the way to the swamp beast is open. when its open the car goes to the hyperpod vehicle then the hypervod vehicle goes defeat the swamp beast. You have only 30 seconds to defeat him. each time you defeat him he takes out 2 seconds off your time and when you lose he puts 2 more seconds. Buy 2 alkaline batteries they work the best on this set. thats what it said on the box of the set. I think this set is very cool because

1. It has a very fast launcher.
2. I like the hypervod vehicle
3.you have to keep going around the track and watch out for the swamp beast's arms they will knock the car out the track.

4. you can connect other sets into it if you like.
5. You have 30 seconds to defeat the swamp beast.
6.I like how the track is designed.
7.It is very durable.
8.It is very fun trying to defeat the swamp beast.
9. I like the phrases the swamp beast says.
10. you can push the switch down so the car can go to other places on the track.
I don't realy like slimecano it is very messy because of the slime.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE SWAMP BEAST PLAYSET IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this playset. On the playset theres one booster a swamp beast with two arms trying to hit the car out of the track and you have 30 seconds to defeat him. Each time you defeat him he takes away 2 seconds and when you lose he puts 2 more seconds. I would recommend this item to anyone who likes hotwheels playsets

4-0 out of 5 stars Way cooler than Slimecano!!!
We returned the Slimecano (see the 1-star rating it got) and bought this as a replacement for our 5-year old son. This is the Hot Wheels I remember! Plastic, snap-together tracks, motorized accelerators for propulsion, fast, high-banked turns. This product actually works the way it portrays on the box. The beast's arms really go up and down and sometimes knock the car off the track. The beast's voice is neat, it sounds like a swamp beast should (think Pirate's "argh!"). I really like the timer on it, you only have 30 seconds to "defeat the beast" which means complete enough laps to trigger the upper loop diverter so your car goes on the inner track, hitting the "hyper pod attack vehicle" which provides the car with enough mass to knock the trigger and causing the head to pop off. If you win the beast knocks 2 seconds off your time (lose and add 2) and starts another round. The victory sound effects are pretty cool, too. All in all I like this toy, it's definitely worth the $24 we paid for it. ... Read more

Gordon sure can pull a lot of coaches at once
When my sister plays express with Gordon and all the coaches she sometimes has a hard time pulling them. Then when I help her I realize how many coaches Gordon can pull. It amazes me how strong gordon really is. Like all Thomas trains the magnet is very durable and it can be used for hours of use.

Express Engines
Gordon is a big express engine who is fast. He is the same size as He is in some story stops like Gordon takes a dip and Henry and the elephant. He has a tender with the number 4 on it.

Perfect
This huge toy is loved by many; you can roll it around, make a train, play games, and lots of other stuff with it.

Also, it is very durable.

This toy is great!

Here Comes the Express!!
Gordon is the large express engine. He's bigger than the other Thomas the Tank Engine toys. His bright blue paint and smiling face make him a joy to play with. My son just recently got Gordon, and he has quickly become one of his favorites. He likes to attach all of his other cars to Gordon and have him pull them. As with other trains in this family, Gordon is strong and durable and will provide hours of fun, interactive play. Pick Gordon up today for your child; they will thank you for it.

Great toys from a wonderful set of stories.
My 2 1/2 year old son loves the Thomas and Friends trains (and all trains in general). He received a starter set for his second birthday, and since then I've added a number of track expansions, cars, buildings, and a couple of storage boxes to his set. He now has so much that we've filled a large Rubbermaid plastic storage box. His train set is easily his favorite toy; his large collection of "Little People" toys from Fisher-Price are now a distant second.

They have been very durable, surviving many accidental falls off the coffee table in our living room, (now officially the "Train Table"), suffering only a few minor dings and some chips in the paint. (I reduced my rating for durability by a star because of the tendency of the paint to chip from a fall, but we have a hardwood floor, however a vinyl floor, and certainly a carpet, may not cause this.) Even with my son's vigorous, energetic play, not one car, or piece of track has broken in almost two years now of frequent play. The only exception to this is our "Wellsworth Station", where the internal mechanism that moves the passenger and sets the stop sign finally failed, although this was due to my son's zealous pounding on the tower of the station which engages the mechanism. The tracks and buildings are solid wood, very durable, and seem like they will last for years. With the exception of this one failure, all of the parts have been exceptionally durable.

These toys have been wonderful for my son, helping his imagination and creativity, his learning to sequence and order things, the properties of objects as he puts pieces of track together, and using numbers in learning the characters and building trains for playing out his ideas. Many of the buildings have a mechanical action feature that indirectly teaches him about mechanics and physics, such as when he plays with the turntable, Cranky the Crane, or the Coal loader.

We have the new 'improved' track with rails on one side and road on the other, allowing us many options in building tracks and roads for play. We cover our table with a large piece of brown felt, and use other small pieces of different shapes and colors to add roads, fields and crops, mountains, lakes, and rivers to our scenarios. This adds a great deal of extra depth and possibilities to our play, and more opportunities for imagination, creativity, and learning. Playing out scenarios from the stories and inventing our own has provided us many, many hours of quality time together as Dad and son. I feel good knowing that I'm buying good quality toys for him that will last and provide a constructive and positive learning environment, rather than the typical lousy and cheap plastic action figures that glorify conflict and violence. I especially like it when we play out scenarios from the stories that have morals about cooperation, friendship, responsibility, and hard work, etc.

I would not recommend these toys for a child less than 2 years of age as they require more developmental ability than even an older infant possesses, but they are perfect for toddlers. The individual toys and buildings themselves have age ratings on them, varying between 2 to 3+ years, making it easy to pick ones appropriate for your child, and allowing the toy to grow and expand as your child does. As my son has developed new skills and abilities, I've been able to increase the complexity of the layouts we build, and in the choices I make in what new items to add to his set. From my experience with my son, even a small Thomas set and a little bit of imagination will go a long way with a child, and provide hours of good wholesome fun. ... Read more

I purchased this Thomas Fire Station for my son last Christmas (age 5). He loves all his Thomas the train items and this Fire Station was icing on the cake for my little fireman. He enjoys setting up the track with his Fire Station. As his other engines/trains circle the track a fire surpisingly occurs, than here comes the Fire Engines to put out the fire. This is a must have accessory to add to your set, if you little man loves being a Fireman. At age 6 he is looking forward to Christams and adding more accessories/builings/track/engines to add to his collection. ... Read more

Holds up to daily playtime!
Santa brought this set for my 3 year old son last Christmas and he has played with it everyday since. With daily use, this wooden set is holding up to his rough play. His favorite piece is Cranky the Crane. It's easy to add onto as we have added the hospital and another bridge. We purchased a Nilo table to put the train on so it will stay together. Well worth the money!

Great for 18 months and up! But expensive...
The Thomas train and train collections are durable toys. Their real value, though, is that playing with the toys allows children to act out the great Thomas and Friends children's stories they read and watch.

This is a nice layout that provides far more track than the usual figure 8 layout that gets purchased first. But it is very expensive. There is generic track available that costs far less. Our kids haven't noticed the difference. IT IS EASY TO CREATE ELEVATED TRACK AND BRIDGES USING LEGO OR DUPLO PIECES AS SUPPORTS. GENERIC CRANES ARE AVAILABLE FOR MUCH LESS.

Kids' imaginations can remarkably supply buildings and water towers and cranes, etc., so that they won't even miss what might be lacking from less expensive sets. And families can build some of these items themselves out of old boxes, etc.

Purchasing recommendation:
* Choose which type of Thomas trains you will 'standardize' on. There are three kinds: This size of wooden trains from Learning Curve; larger, plastic, battery-operated trains from Tomy; and smaller, die-cast metal trains from Ertl. The wooden trains have the most products and accessories available.

* The clickety-clack (grooved to look like real railroad) track in the Thomas series is great, but it's expensive; I recommend buying generic track. ... You can literally save hundreds of dollars by buying these kinds of sets.

* Buy the Thomas and friends engines separately--and wait for sales. The kids care about the characters, so no short-cutting (ie., Brio or generic trains) here.

* Look for trains bundled with VHS videos. You can get a video and a train (on sale) for about the same price as a train alone. ... Read more

If you're 3 years old, and your main mission in life is toarrest all the Bad Guys, it's a shame not to have the transportation tocatch up with them. The Tikes Patrol Police Car is the cruiser youneed. Powered by your own two feet sticking through the floor, it's aserious blue machine with blue-and-red fake lights on the 36-inch-highwhite roof. Thirty-two inches long by 17 inches wide, it has one doorthat opens, a squeaky horn on the steering wheel, and a handheld radiounit with sound effects (requires two AA batteries, not included). Thetoy holds a maximum weight of 50 pounds. The car is all plastic, exceptfor wheel struts and screws. Adult assembly is required. --RichardFarr ... Read more

Hours (or at least half-hours) of Fun
This is a very cute toy. My nephew loved the old car, and so I'm buying the police car for my daughter, age two.

Unsafe at any speed
I strongly reccomend the sedan. The coupe is downright dangerous.

A twist to a classic...
My son received this car for his 2nd birthday and was an instant hit! He enjoyed playing with the walkie talkie and running around all over the yard and house with it. His sister would pile in next to him just for the ride. This is the same great quality as the yellow/orange car but with a couple of extra features. My son is into trucks, fire trucks, police cars so this was a perfect gift for him. He loves to tell people that the real police have a car LIKE HIS! In a yrs time we have had no problems with this toy and is still in great condition - the only problem we have ever had is my son wants it in the house so he can play with it when it's raining or snowing out! Another great product from Little Tikes.

My son loves it!
We bought this for Christmas when my son was 18 months old. He loves it. Everytime I try and put it away he pulls it back out. It was a bit difficult to put together without some real muscle power. We have had a few tip overs that others have mentioned, particularly when the door is open. My biggest problem is the steering wheel will not stay in. At 21 months my son can pull it out with ease- now I can't even push it back in.

Great Buy!
We bought this for our son when he turned 1. He LOVED it and still loves it (he's 2 now). It's well put together and great for hours of fun. I know he'll be enjoying this car for may years. I'd highly recommend it to anyone! ... Read more

Editorial Review

This sturdy plastic car gives toddlers and young preschoolers the basic thrills of a real car, while parents can relax, knowing that this cherry-red sports car can go only as fast as their kids' little feet can carry them. Children sit on a bench-style driver's seat and poke their legs through to the ground. When they start walking, the car begins to scoot. The front wheels swirl like stroller wheels, making them especially responsive to the steering wheel. The front dash features a pretend key with a Little Tikes key chain and a horn button that beeps when pushed. A small storage bin in back can carry traveling gear or simply a stash of road snacks. Approximately 35 inches tall, 25 inches long, and 16 inches wide. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

Great Purchase
I bought this for my daughter two years ago and now I am passing it down to my son. It is still in great shape and he loves it.

Cute!
My two year old nephew is the proud new owner of a red and yellow Cozy Coupe. Oh boy, did he go nuts when the box walked in the house. Silly us, we should have put the car together first, as he was climbing in to drive before the wheels were even attached!

The Cozy Coupe has been with us for a few weeks now and it hasn't lost it's luster. It is still the hippest hottest toy around. In fact, our little guy would be satisfied if he could play drive thru and eat while in his car and go to the drive-in and watch his movies while in his car! We have to coax him out of his car.

If you are looking for a durable car for your little one, Little Tikes is the way to go.

There GREAT
My boys absoultely LOVE these!!! Keeps them busy for at least an hour. Which is hard to do w/ 2 1/2 yr olds!! They "pretend" they are going to see grandma, grandpa, and other family and freinds. Yes they were not easy to put together and on one of ours the door does not completly shut, its ok though, they still have fun.

Boy, you just can't wear these cars out!
You HAVE to buy this car! Either this one or the police car - they're just so very durable that nothing gets in their way. Ours has gone through 8 children already, and it's still going strong. My nephews used to roll down the driveway with one hanging on the roof and just had a ball with it. And, it goes way past the recommended age limit on the fun factor. I've seen 8-year-olds in them and just having a great time. A great toy by Little Tikes and if you have a Wiggles fan in your house, it doubles as a "Big Red Car." We had this before they came out with a Big Red Car so that's how we've used ours. Very nice toy and WELL worth every penny we paid!

Great but hard to put together
My daughter is 13 months and loves this toy!!! However, it's a real pain to put together as the instructions are pictograms and there aren't any words. I would highly recommend it, but be warned it is a pain to put together. ... Read more

Huffy Bicycles, please modify the rear wheel caps design
It is a sturdy tricycle with an innovative canopy design. I like the fact you can lock or unlock the steering wheel. However, there is a major design flaw. The rear cap that is suppose to secure the rear wheels to the axles is a flimzy cap that just taps into the axle. Horrible design from safety point of view. My son rode for a month, and one of the rear wheels fell off. Luckiy, he wasn't hurt. I bought two axles with nuts to secure the rear wheels from a hardware store. I would recommend anyone who purchased or will purchase this item to replace the rear axles and caps immediately.

MISSING PARTS & RUSTS QUICKLY
Good idea, but the product packaging is terrible. Two critical bolts not included, but I found acceptable replacements at my local hardware store. The chrome rusts very quickly. We do store it outside, but it has never been rained on and the chrome rusted within two weeks. Our son likes it, but it is very difficult to turn with the front wheel locked and even more difficult to push it straight since the front wheel wobbles a lot.

$42.50 for the shipping
Sorr, seems like a perfect one for my daughter's birthday.
But it's for website shopper only and if you really want get it, that will be $42.50 shipping charge on it.( In New York city)And you can't find it in any of Toy's Rus store. So my concerning is, why don't post it for $102.00 or something, then make it for free shipping, make me feels much better.

Needs Alignment
Cool ... BUT
Hard to stear and pulls to the right ...

Worth every cent!!!!
Bought ours about a week ago and my daughter loves it, and we love it. Great safty features, 3pt seatbelt, viewing window through canopy, easy to push. Not to mention an eye catcher as well. Everybody wants to know where i bought it at. Its an excellent product and a great buy.You and your child will love it!!!! ... Read more
