4-0 out of 5 stars Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
I played my first Harry Potter game on the dreaded Playstation One console when it first came out and at the time I was impressed with the game concept, the graphics, and the overall play of the game. When Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets came out I had the Xbox and I was able to enjoy the boost in graphics, music, and overall game play. Just recently the first game came out on Xbox, and I decided to buy it. To my surprise it was nothing like the original Playstation One game that I remember. So I played it with great enthusiasm. I now await the third game. I have higher expectations than someone new to the game, but I am expecting the same quality of the other games as well as an increase of play and graphics quality. An EA game usually does not disappoint.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is going to be bloody brilliant
I have played both of the versions of the Sorcerors Stone and the Chamber Of Secrets and all three are my favorite games. I thought this game would probably have the same layout different storyline but I was amazed when I read about the new features. This game is going to be bloody brilliant. I've heard about the new feature where you get to be Ron or Hermione also, but come on I will and always will be Harry cause it is his tale and his game. But I'm just wonderin if there will be Co-op. XBOX bloody rocks!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best game ever!!!!
This is the most amazing Xbox game ever!!! I just got it yesterday and I beat it in 1 day!!! I couldnt stop!!!

Things that make this game so great...

1. Exploring Hogwarts Grounds and flying on Buckbeak! Also their are 3 different seasons...fall with rain...Winter with beutiful snow and great winter music...and spring! The grounds are huge! Its amazing! You can even run around the two courtyards from the movies! On buckbeak, you can take off, and land anywhere on the grounds!

2. Being Harry Ron and Hermione!

3. The graphics are amazing, much better then the first two games! Harry Ron and Hermione dont look stupid like they did in the first 2 games!

4. The music is great...the same great music from the first 2 plus new great music!

OK...their are many more great things about this game that I could be here all day...get this game! Dont even think about it just get it...you will thank me!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a big Harry Potter fan, I've read all the books, I have the 2nd gaem on the PC, and I have the 3rd HP game for XBox. One bad thing.......I don't have my Xbox yet!! IT is killing me cause I got ot play it just a little bit and I want to play it some more. The graphics are unbelievable. The spells, game-play, graphics, and depth have all improved. It is so incredibly awesome. Buy it now!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is gonna be cool
I have heard of this game and i thought i might get it. I have played the last two games and thought they were brilliant. I like all my games for Xbox because it's just plain better. Gamecube is ok, but it doesn't have as good graphics. Playstation 2 sucks. Almost all PS2 games suck. I have seen the movie and thought it was the best one, so i figure this is gonna be the best game. I like the book also, but i think the Goblet of Fire game and movie will be better. But until then, this is the best one. ( I still can't believe you cant play Quiditch, but i have the World Cup, so i'm not too worried about it, it's not like people buy the game just to play Quiditch) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Better Than FIFA
I am from England where ever loves FIFA but now there is a new footy game on the market and everyone is turning. In the UK its called Pro Evolution Soccer 4 and i have had ever single one of them sice Pro Evo 1. They all better than FIFA because it has better game play and is much fast than FIFA which is slow and boring not like the beautiful game of football but the only thing FIFA has over Pro Evo is that it has better graphics and has the real names, which is made up for in gameplay. This is a great game playing against your mates because the pace of the game is gets much faster. This is much better than FIFA and the more people that buy it the more real kits and names there will be on the game SO BUY IT.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Winning Eleven series to date
I have played all of the North American W.E. games since WE 6 and I have to say that I am impressed with the consistent improvements that Konami has done with this series.Below is my review based off the PS2 version:

The Winning Eleven games have all had one thing in common: tremendous and realistic gameplay. Not only does WE 8 continue this tradition, but the game also adds on welcomed new features that compensate for the lack of online play and club licenses that is synonymous with the FIFA series:

- On the pitch referee
When fouls are committed, you'll witness a referee run up to the play to either warn the player or toss out a yellow card. What makes this neat is that you have the option to select which referee will be the decision maker for your game. One ref that is not made available is Pierluigi Collina, who is heralded as being the best ref in the sport. That's a bit of a bummer but doesn't really do much to affect the game

- Free kicks now involve two kickers
Yep, that's right.By using the select button (on the PS2), you have the option of using two kickers from the spot. This now only adds to realism, but strategy as well since you have more than one person at getting around the wall during free kicks.

- Advanced moves
In previous versions of W.E. you had to be real adept in using the buttons to get around your opponent.Although you still need to be pretty skillful in maneuvering your man, you can use the R2 button to perform stutter steps and more fakes to get around the defender.Playing against the computer on the highest difficulty will show you how hard covering the AI has really gotten.

- Improved AI
As great as WE 6 was, the AI wasn't overly difficult.WE7 was better at working on this but now, WE 8 has really added to this department. You'll find that if you play the same two teams 3 times, you'd be pressed to win all 3 games in a row.The defense of the AI has hard to get around unless you really are adept in passing well.As I said earlier, offensive AI is hard in its own right in that the addition of trick moves makes it hard to cover your opponents one on one, especially if the opposing player is a star such as Ronaldo, Zidane, Henry, etc. You'll also never score the same goal twice (unless it's a penalty kick). The AI is just too good in this game.

- Improved graphics
This is easily the best looking WE game in the series.Although FIFA has been renowned for their graphics, I really think WE is not that far behind anymore. You can easily make out players such as Beckham, Schevchenko, Figo, etc.Heck, you can even witness Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United along with his huge earrings.Animations are numerous in this game as well.Players complaining, goal keepers trying to motivate teammates, players pushing each other after a hard foul was committed all add to the fun factor in this game. You'll even see dirt stains on players' jerseys after a few minutes have passed in the game.

- Deeper Master's League
Although I have yet to try this part of the game, I have been told that this is the bread and butter of the game.Basically this is the part of the game where you take a team over the course of several seasons and try to build a dynastry (similar to franchise mode on other games like Madden). You can keep track of your players during the course of a season with player ratings fluctuating.Old players will retire at season's end and young players, with added playing time, will improve right before your very eyes.Previous W.E. Master League's have kept me busy so I'm expecting this year's iteration to do the same to me once I get to it.

Here are the few cons I found (PS2)
- Commentary/Sound
Not horrible, but not great. However, once youre knee deep in games (which will happen once you play the hardest level), you won't be concentraing on the sound as much.

- A bit of slowdown
If you have several players in the box, there's occasional slowdown but not bad enough to take away from the gameplay.

- No online play.Probably the most "glaring" deficit of this game according to some.True, online play adds fun to games, but I always felt that playing a sports game with more than one person is best when you play your friends directly instead of over a broadband connection.

Overall, this is probably one of the best sports games I have ever played (Madden 2003, NBA 2K series, and SSX I think are on this level). Even if you're not a soccer fan you'll enjoy how much of a challenge this game will provide for you.If you are a soccer fan like myself, you'll be blown away by the realism this game serves up. And if you're a Winning Eleven fan, you'll be flat out impressed with the new features this game adds over previous editions.

4-0 out of 5 stars No frills... addictive gameplay
This is definitely a no frills soccer game. The menus are crap. The music sounds like it was ripped from some 80's action flick. The graphics are pretty good but it looks like we've hit the wall with this generation of consoles, so you feel like your looking at every other soccer game around. The manner in which you save games and highlights is clumsy. And I'm sure there's more stuff but I've only owned it for about 24hrs.

What stood out is the game play and physics. There must be hundreds of player animations, all extremely realistic, that tie together seemlessly. Players stumble, trip up, dive, roll over and over like Klinsman back in the day, get pushed aside, throw up their arms in dismay when they miss an easy chance (and sometimes cover their faces and drop to their knees), dispute throw-ins and fouls with the ref, reel from a powerful shot, and so on. It's all these manerisms that you take for granted when you watch live soccer on the TV, but appreciate so much in this game because it's obvious that the designers cared about making it as realistic as possible. It's all in the details. The game play itself is smooth and intuitive. If you've played FIFA for donkey's years because it's the only soccer game of note in North America, then you can dive into this one very quickly. Once you get up to speed you will find that games flow nicely and are very challenging. The opposition AI makes for a tough game at higher difficulty levels and goals won't come easily. Stadiums are varied, more so than in FIFA. The way the grass has been cut, the quality of the pitch, the type of netting used in the goal, the closeness of the crowd to the pitch, all vary as they should. I love the way the ball behaves in wet weather, stopping up short and kicking up sprays of water every time it hits the turf. The way the netting responds to the ball hitting it at different angles and speeds is a thing of beauty. I look for all of these small details in a soccer game, and I was pleasantly surprised here.

Overall it's a bare bones package with high quality game play and incredible attention to detail. As far as licenses go you get the Spanish and Italian leagues and maybe a couple more, but the others are all fictional with some real names thrown in. Giggs plays for Man Red apparently. There seem to be plenty of other features like training, cup competitions, editing capabilities, etc. that I don't really care about. I just want an entertaining and realistic soccer experience and this game delivers.

2-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing... not for soccer purists
Maybe I was expecting too much out of it, but after playing it for 30 minutes I realized how FIFA 2005 is worth every single penny. Although the graphics are outstanding, the movements of the players are dull and robotic. The players' jerseys nearly look like the real ones for most teams, and some local teams don't even exist. There are two teams called "Pampa" and "Patagonia" (WTF???????) with the colors barely similar to Boca Juniors and River Plate, whose players have fake names that sound like the real ones ("Atontanchieri" instead of "Abondanzzieri", and so on). If you like to play a game that looks realistic from any aspect, go for FIFA 2005.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Soccer Sim (Bad US Distribution Though)
This game is the same as the European "Pro Evolution Soccer 4" and if you have heard the buzz surrounding that game then you should know that this is really the only soccer game worth buying and probably in the top three sports simulations of all time.

The problem has been that Vivendi are too slow in releasing Winning Eleven 9, i.e - Pro Evolution Soccer 4, which has been out for months now in Europe. Vivendi really need to pick up the pace there.

The game has been in development since the Nintendo 64 and is easily the best soccer engine out there. All of the players have full character skins that resemble the players in reality (real moving hair!), except some of the names are not the same because of license issues (don't worry you can edit everything in this game).

Apart from the outstanding game engine (replay mode is almost like real soccer on television) the character animations are intricate and extremely realistic. The players respond to fouls by falling in a multiple number of ways, other players throw their hands up in disgust at missing a goal or crash to their knees in exhaustion. Belt in a goal and watch them do a pile up as the crowd goes wild. Some players even have special moves.

Unlike most of the other soccer games this is a simulation rather than an arcade kick-about so if you are not prepared to spend a few days learning the controls and how to operate the environments, including formations and in-game strategies - you might just want to forget about this one, however this is the domain where the master players live and share memory card saved data with one another. In short soccer freaks the world over either have it, want it or plague the family of someone who has it.

The AI is really what makes Pro Evolution Soccer 4 stand out. It is also like really controlling little men on the pitch... what am I saying... they ARE really little men on the pitch (yes the game IS that good). There are 50 national teams and 60 fake teams. You need to go on the internet to find out who Konami imagined these fake teams to really be so you can edit in the right players names and team names (remember Konami does not have a license for everything so be prepared to do a bit of fiddling, however a huge percentage of the teams and players are already licensed).

There are multiple modes/games to choose from (up to 8 controllers/players can be used with this game) friendly matches, team play, match modes, cup modes, leagues, training simulations, edit modes and a Master League mode, each with several options for the type of game you want to play... there is no shortage of cups to win in this game. When you win about 3 cups you then have enough credits to start team transfers (meaning you can update EVERYTHING in this game to resemble actual football teams) and you can also create your own ALL STARS team.

The bottom line is that the manual for this thing is huge and it is everything you could ever want soccer to be. If there is one soccer game to own for the PS2, then this is it by a long shot. It is a great investment considering how many of your friends will play it to death with you over the many weekends to come.

If you play sport and don't own this game, then what are you waiting for? Just get this game, learn it, read the manual and be the best you can at it. This is the universal PS2 game that everyone who loves soccer plays and a really good dream team effort from Konami.

As a note the PAL version hacked for the PS2 with modchips was available for NTSC players long ago. So basically illegal copies where doing the rounds in America months and months before the official version was released. Given that Vivendi had such terrible problems with the release of HL2 it seems that there is a pattern emerging here. I feel sorry for the Konami programmers who will not see their just rewards because of bad distribution. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars for harry potter fans ONLY!
this game is good, but only if u like harry potter like i do.

graphics: 7/10

not really that great but u can tell the characters apart so its not that bad.

gameplay: 6/10

followed the book pretty good. controls are easy. the game is overall easy. takes a while to load sometimes.

sound: 5/10

the sound was ok at times and bad at times. the characters voices arent that good though. harry sounds like a whimp whenever he casts a spell.

the castle is really bad in this game. it has too many rooms and is confusing to find out where you need to go.

someone please tell me if this game is better on PS2, because i bought this game for PS1 before they came out with it on PS2, and i want to know if its the same or better and i dont want to rent it or buy it on PS2 if its the same. thanks ^_^

by the way: someone wrote a report saying they hate harry potter and they said "i hate harry potter sooooooooooooooooo much da look at me im harry potter dont let vole-de-mort kill me i have a scar i am special look at my scar". if u hate it sooooo much, then why are you wasting your time complaining about it when you could be looking at and reviewing stuff you actually like? you must have no life if you do that. dont you agree?

3-0 out of 5 stars Great for Potter fans, but game has lots of bugs :-(
If you are a true Harry Potter fan, then i would not hesitate to buy this...however...the game has lots of bugs and problems. I am always restarting the game...For example, you can not control Harry's view very well. A lot of times, I have had to re start the game because Harry got "stuck" in between things in the game and you couldn't move him or the camera. Also, I have had to restart the game many times because the voice overs sometimes just repeat the same word, over and over again and don't stop....The music is usually off somewhere and the words don't go along with the character's mouths.

But, the game's graphics are good, the game play is just like the previous HP game. In a nutshell, this game is nowhere as good as Chamber of Secerets , but is still a good additive to your PS2 collection. I can't wait till November when Prisoner of Azkaban comes out on ps2!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Review
This is an awsome game. The graphics are almost the same as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for PS2 (they look nothing like on the cover). This is a little bit challenging for the first game released, but with a little bit of strategy and logic...all the tasks come together. I loved how well it followed the movie. I gave this game 5 stars because it is VERY addictive and EXTREMELY fun. Hope this review helped.

1-0 out of 5 stars EA You Let Me Down Again
Ww all played this game on the PS1 and it was the worst game EVER! But we got this on the PS2?!WHY? Here's why I hate this game.
Story:it's the same as the book and movie.
GamePlay:same as COS.
Graphics:it's messey and chessey.
SoundWork:good and bad, because the voice work is really bad and muisc is bad.
Overall:Harry Potter A.T.S.S is the worst game on the PS2 EVER!Did I meton that it's to easy!
I give it a 1 out of 5!

I give it a 1 out of 5.

5-0 out of 5 stars Psychotic Fun
Wario Ware, Inc: Mega Microgame$ is the most neurotic, seizure-inducing game I've ever played. In it, you are hot-dropped into a game, and you must figure out what is going on and complete the game's task, before your five seconds are up and you are dropped into another, completely different game. Insane.

And good luck trying to wrestle the game out of your friends' hands. It's incredibly playable; I've passed this game off randomly to friends, who invariably cackle maniacally, then yell "What the heck is this?" and then start cursing for the next half hour.

Great sound, some rockin tunes, graphics that run the spectrum from sub-par to breathtaking, and gameplay that just won't quit. I've beaten the game, and there are so many unlockables left, I'm still fixated. More extras than you can shake a stick at. Worth the time and money.

A game that's fun and different
Wario Ware brings a weird new genre into the gaming world. You'll play through each of Wario's developer's set of minigames. The games only last for about three to four seconds, so you have to have a quick wit. The games are hard, but not too difficult that you have to pull your hair out. You'll play all kinds of wacky games, and you'll guide snails to magical leaves, drop coconuts, cut beef, and play through a slough of nintendo minigames. All in all, this game is easy to get into, yet hard to get out of. This game is the best to play in two or three minute spurts. This game is worth your thirty bucks,as you can also unlock new minigames like Dr. Wario and Chicken Race. Three words for you: BUY IT NOW!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great if you have A.D.D.
This game is really lots of mini games rolled into one. It's a solid original concept. Some of the games make you laugh so hard you nearly wet yourself when you see them for the first time (i.e. finger in the nose) and some can be quasi infuriating at first. I beat the game pretty fast though so I could only give it 3 stars even though thats the only knock on this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent in all directions!
This game is addictive, fun, funny, action and loads more! THERE IS A PLOT. The plot is that a new game is released and you have to defeat to put wario in buisness, But it doesn't end there it keeps going! I've had it for 1 1/2 years and stil play it a lot!
You have to buy it if you have a gameboy advance!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Waste of money.
I thought the idea of not giving the directions was kinda cool, but I was wrong. This game makes no sense, and is a waste of time. It's fun for a while, but still DO NOT BUY! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!!
I think the game is a great value! I mean for the price you can't go wrong. At first the joystick felt a little arkward while playing pac-man, but now I'am use to it. I also would have preferred that the reset button be on the side or back of the console because I find myself hitting it by mistake. But overall... I think it's the next best thing to the original arcade version. After Pac-Man, my next favorite game is Dig Dug and playing that game just brought back a lot of memories. It seems soooo authentic!! For the price I am so impressed. I only wish that Ms. Pac Man worked as well as Pac-Man. I was about to purchase Ms. Pac Man but after reading the reviews I think I'll wait until Namco comes out with a new and improved version.

4-0 out of 5 stars 80's flashback
Wow! This is so fun! It works so well and is so easy to install. This is fun for the whole family, we all love to play the games. Graphics are good, joystick works well. It reminds me of going to arcades when I was young...

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Toy in Years
Its about time this was created, ITS the most Superb thing I have played in years.

5-0 out of 5 stars really fun, don't forget the batteries
at first i wasn't sure about buying this toy, but i did, and i have absolutely no regrets about it. it cost me about 18 bucks, and i know that i would have spent WELL over 18 bucks if i'd played these games in the arcade as many times as i've played them at home. there was one game on there i'd never heard of (bosconian), but it turned out to be the best one. the only one i don't really like is galaxian, it's kind of boring. but the rest are great. it takes 4 aa batteries, and when they start to go dead the picture gets funny. the batteries are not included so don't forget to buy them like i did. i would recommend this toy to anyone who likes video games, and some people who normally don't. i gave it a couple stars for educational because video games help hand-eye coordination, etc, etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun as hell
Alot of people gave this guy bad reviews on it's shoddy quality. I don't know if I just got a good unit or not, but I've been playing this thing almost everyday since I got it a month ago and have had 0 problems. Not only have I not had to replace the batteries once (I guess these old games don't suck up much), but it's held up through my various slams and harsh playing styles. So, I guess I'd say..buy where you can return it (i.e. not on ebay), but don't hesitate purchasing it based on the bad reviews. ... Read more

Wow, out of control fun times. You mite have noticed that in 2004, you felt like the company didnt care about you. Well it feels like they do now with this game. They finally have a dunking contest mode which will need practice, dont give up rite away. The regular gameplay has also improved a bunch. I only think that they coulda made the 3 point shootout a little more difficult. Any NBA Live fan would have good times with this game. Definatly recamend it. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Nothing special
My 8yo got this as a gift. We wouldn't have bought it, because he doesn't even like Scooby Doo, and he probably didn't play it for more than 5 hours - he got bored halfway through. Although it is a fun, harmless adventure for kids, and it has a wonderful Scooby retro feel to it, it just isn't gripping enough to hold interest.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very Sad
Night of 100 Frights was really cool -- my 5 year old and I (over 40) had the best time playing over and over and over. Mystery Mayhem, well, it's a mystery ... how/why it ever got made... the graphics are poor, story line/presentation is lame, no excitement, no challenge, even my 5 year old played for about an hour and then looked very sad, dejected, disappointed, and hasn't returned since. (Can I get a refund?) I suggest you go blow spit bubbles before buying this game, it will be more fun. Trust me.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's not that bad, but not as fun as 100 Frights.....
Mystery Mayhem is not THAT bad, but no it's not as fun as Night of 100 Frights. If you're considering Mystery M. but have not played N.of 100 Frights please start with N. 100 F. first!!! Rent Mystery Mayhem because you can probably finish it during the rental period, unless you have cheats for 100 Frights I doubt you'll be able to rent once & finish.

I'm a female in my mid 20 and I'm not a serious gamer, Mystery Mayhem is not all that challenging but finding all the goodies is time consuming enough to keep my interest. If you like the following girly kiddie games then rent don't by Mystery Mayhem: Monopoly, the Mario Parties, Shrek Party, any Mario Nintendo game, Simpson's Hit & Run and Road Rage. Night of 100 Frights is a masterpiece compared to Mystery Mayhem, but M.M. is not that bad.

Scooby-Doo Where Are You???
If you are older than 6 years of age this game is not for you. After playing Scooby Doo Night of 100 frights I couldn't wait for the next release from THQ. Afer spending my $40 I discovered that I could have waited after all. The game poses very little challenge and becomes boring very quickly.

Not Nearly As Fun as Night of 100 Frights
This is a rather poor version of Scooby Doo. I bought the GameBoy Advance version and stopped at the fourth level--it was very two-dimensional, and this game is almost the same.

Some of the game is limited to side-scrolling and going to various doors, and it looks like the authors did not put very much time, money, or energy into making this Scooby Doo as fun to play or exciting as Night of 100 Frights.

I was waiting readily for another Scooby Doo but was really disspointed to spend $40 on this version that is almost a port fo the GameBoy Advance version (it has some 3-D levels and the puzzles are harder, but it isn't that good).

If you don't have Night of 100 Frights, then get that one over this title. You will have a better gaming experience. This game requires you to press a certain button countless times to capture ghosts and it's the same throughout the entire game. It gets really boriing and tiring on the fingers to take 30 hits to capture one ghost. How original (sarcasm).

I don't recomment this game--save your money. The authors certainly did and it shows. Trust me. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is as close as console owners cancome to owning a PC-class simulator. It still has the arcade sensibilities ofprevious entries in this popular series, but the graphics, number of planes (allwith different flight characteristics), and story line kick this dogfightingexperience into full afterburner.

Things don't start out too well. Early in the game you're saddled with whatamounts to a flying brick, and are forced to fly a few boring mud-movingmissions. Stick with it, though. By the end of the game, you'll have earnedenough money to buy a hangar full of incredible aircraft, each with specialweapons, capabilities, and shortcomings. The F-14, for example, has a slow rollrate but can engage multiple targets at long range. The A-10 is horrible in adogfight, but is devastating down low. You'll need to familiarize yourself withall the planes, as picking the right plane for the job always spells thedifference between success and failure in the later missions.

The game is nearly perfect in the audio department, with booming engine noises(taken from recordings of the planes' real-life counterparts) and constant radiochatter during missions. Graphically, it's a bit of a letdown, especially theanemic explosions. Up high, everything is picture perfect, and the plane modelsare gorgeous, but close to the ground the terrain melts into a pixilated mess. This is offset somewhat by the inclusion of dense urban areas and twistingcanyons that are thrilling to fly through. All things considered, ShatteredSkies is the best mix of simulation and arcade action ever burned onto adisc. --T. Byrl Baker

Pros:

 • Photorealistic terrain (at least when viewed from high altitude)
 • Nonstop action backed by an engaging story
 • Intense dogfights, sometimes involving dozens of planes
Cons:
 • Scripted mission design doesn't give players much freedom
 • Pathetic explosions
 • Terrain that loses detail when viewed from a low altitude

4-0 out of 5 stars Another great game in the Ace Combat series
When I first started playing Ace Combat 04, I was a little disappointed as it seemed to be just a "suped-up" of version of the earlier Ace Combat games. But as I got deeper into the missions, I found out it was much, much more. Now I'm totally hooked on it, starting my third time through the missions. Yes it's that much fun!

I can't say enough about the graphics, they are just outstanding. The control scheme is easy to master and you can be up and running in no time at all. The levels load quickly so there's not a lot of wasted time, waiting to play a level. The sound is also outstanding.

This game has varying degrees of difficulty and is beatable fairly quickly in the easy mode, but you can go through and play it on one of the harder settings and have just as much fun the second time around, especially when you use different types of aircraft and weapons.

You'll also have the option actually taking off and landing in some of the missions, including the carrier based missions. You get a chance to refuel and rearm and even switch weapons to fight different kinds of enemies. Many of the missions require you to complete land based objectives only to have objectives added that include dogfights.

This a great game, in reality I give it 4.5 stars but since that's not an option I chose 4 stars. If you love flight combat simulators, you will not be disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Engage, Mobius 1!
The Erusians have built a weapon of mass destrution, Stonehenge. ISAF is at war because of this cannon. Stonehenge was originally built to shoot down astroids but Erusia discovered it could be used as a anti-aircraft weapon. So you, Mobius 1, must fight for the mainland. Buying fighters of speed and weapons of destruction you defend the Independent Allied Forces. Dog-fight the fearless Yellow 13. Buy F-15s and SU-37s. Use Quick Maneuver Missiles and Advance Air-to-Ground Bombs. With 18 combat missions you drop bombs and fire missiles. With 18 jets to buy from you are totally in the action. With a great replay you can watch yourself defeat the Erusians. With radio transmissions you can hear SkyEye and other fighters talk throughout the missions. I have beaten AC04 five times now. I recieved it last Christmas.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME!
ive beaten this game ile 18billion times, i think it has great replay value, with 3 paintjobs for each plane! plus a hidden plane, you can only get by beating the game all Super rating in normal mode or higher. once you beat it in normal, you can go to hard, then expert, then ACE. I think ACE is the most realistic. it makes it ALOT harder! cant wait for ACE COMBAT 5 in FAll of 2004!BUY THIS GAME NOW! i saw it for less somewhere....mighta been the target store....

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
This is a good game but their could be some improvements. The graphics are great, the selection of jets is awesome, and the levels are very fun and not to difficult, this game is definatly worth the $20. It is not a game for young children or people who suck at video games though, it will take some practice, also its not a game with much replay value. The realisticness(if thats even a word) is great until the last level which you have to fly through an enemy base which i just found to be sort of silly. Its multiplayer isnt very great either. I do recommend this game even though it could use a new last level. Im lookin forward to ace combat 5 which comes out sometime this holiday season.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Flight simulator game ever!
I played this game, and became addicted right away! I've played flight simulators, but none like this! The missions are intense, the graphics beyond words, and to top it off, the jets and weaponry is state-of-the-art! If you like combat flight simulators, you will love this game! Destroy a pillbox/bunker with a precision guided bomb or shoot down a yellow with a QAAM (Quick Air to Air Maneuver missle)! The Erusian Power house has taken over the mighty 'stonehenge', a massive facility made to shoot down astroids, and are using it to shoot down aircraft! Now, be the hero and help save ISAF (Independant States of Allied Forces) from certain doom in this war! May I also add that it is a very interesting plot that devolps as you beat the missions! Overall, a 5 star game that deserves your buying it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars no title necessary
I have just played this game for a little over an hour, but already I can tell I'll be playing this game alot.It has a bit of a learning curve when you start out.Jumping right into a game out of the box can be frustrating if you don't view the street trainingvideo a couple of times. It's very satisfying game play once you understand how maneuver. The tricks are literally mouth watering.
After you learn how to earn your combo shots (the ones that are practically impossible to block)you don't feel so ripped when the AI rips one through w/out possible defense.
In general I despise sports games, because I suppose I despise most sports Excluding Soccer.
This is a top quality arcade soccer game.Even as it is arcadish you will find that you have to master play, and it isn't simply a button masher as many of the arcade style sport games are.
After playing this just briefly I can't wait to see what the other EA FIFA games have in store.I'm sure they are a bit more refined, but EA has won me over with this title.
I definitely recommend picking this up if you are a soccer fan.

2-0 out of 5 stars Good Player Roster, Graphics, but Poor Controls and Gameplay
I'm a big fan of the EA Big Street series.I'm also a huge fan of soccer.I was pumped to play this game.

Unfortunately I am underwhelmed. The game play seems a bit lame and static compared to what you would expect from the street series. Most of this comes from controls that are not responsive. The point of the game is to beat your opponent with wild dribble moves.Unfortunately when the opponent uses a move on you, you literally lose control of your player while the animation shows your guy getting schooled. The soccer AI in this game is so poor that none of your other players can be counted on to help out your stranded teammate.

I just don't see a lot of replay value in this as the controls and gameplay are so static and frustrating.

Also disappointing is the fact that when you create a new team to play through the single player mode, your team is ranked at level 13 and your first opponent is level 25.I played ten matches and won only once because my players are hopelessly outclassed.

Some redeeming qualities of the game... there is a huge roster of real life soccer stars from several countries.Fans of European soccer will be happy to see Beckham, Henry, Totti, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, etc.Unfortunately, if your favorite star does not come from one of the dozen featured countries, forget about finding him in the game, which means no Schevchenko, Van Nistelrooy, Ljungberg, and none of the Greeks who won last year's Euro Tournament.

The graphics in this game are very nice. The players look stylish and are dead-ringers for the real players. The environments are decent looking too.

The lack of XBox Live play is absolutely unforgivable in a sports title of this nature. This is a terrible oversight.

In the end, I cannot recommend FIFA Street to anyone besides the most avid of soccer fans, and even then, don't expect to get a lot of replay value out of this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game!
At first i thought this game was going to be a little ridiculuos and forced from the EA BIG title series. However, upon buying the game i found it not only to be extremely fun, but exciting, great-looking and an over all great game. BETTER THAN ANY OTHER STREET GAME! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't hold a candle to Secret of Mana
I'll admit I was expecting a Secret of Mana type game. Instead I got something different. It isn't all that great too. You start off by selecting either a male or female and then sit through a VERY long intro (but good intro) before the game starts.

The elements in Sword of Mana are very similar to Secret but they don't flow as well. The gameplay is a such example. Sword of Mana is fun to play at first. The gameplay elements are awesome with all the weapons and items but then a few things start to stick out. One: Attacking isn't like in Secret of Mana. You have this three hit combo that for some reason is impossible to pull off. The power gauge at the bottom is nice but takes to long to charge (you do it by attacking enemies.) Another thing about the gameplay is simply that as you progress further, it becomes more frustrating. You start to miss enemies a lot and even taking out a simple enemy becomes more than its worth.

Lastly, your AI character is an insult. They stand there, either casting spells like crazy or getting themselves killed. Its a hassle to keep them alive throughout the game.

The ring menu is also different. In Secret of Mana the ring menu was fast, efficient and simple to use. In this...it's...not as easy, fast and efficient. Example: First I open up the Ring menue. Instead of it instantly flashing up like in Secret, it has to take time to open up. This isn't the gripe, let's keep moving. Next, I select the item icon. Again we watch it slowly flash to the next menu. THEN I have to choose a sub-category...ok...once that's done with I have to choose ANOTHER sub category depending on the icon I choose. Then you'll have to choose ANOTHER sub category. So when you open up the menu you'll be in it for a while. Rather than the ring menu they should've had the one similar to Legend of Mana.

The music isn't nearly as good as the other two Mana games. Seeing as how Square took so much time to redevelope the game in revamping the graphics (which shower AMAZING detail) they didn't spend as much time on the music. Some tunes are good but a lot sound VERY 8-bit style. So much to the fact that they're annoying and repetative.

The story and how its told is great though! The one thing that hasn't changed in the Mana series, great storytelling (Legend of Mana STILL had good story-telling with all its subplots). However, the dialogue is very stupid at times and the character developement isn't quite there. Sicne the game is so short we don't get enough time to learn as much about these characters as possible. Mix that in with the fact that whoever you don't choose in the beginning is absent from the story for long periods of time.

Overall I was disappointed. The gameplay is what ruined the game for me. It's frustrating a lot of the time. The menu isn't easy to use anymore and monsters that can dodge anything isn't my idea of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sword of Mana
Very fun and entertaining game. It's a very good game, not something you get bored with very fast. It's a lot like Final Fantasy Adventure for the Game boy, it even has some of the same music, you walk around killing monsters and getting levels up, you collect items to upgrade your weapons, it's just an action/adventure/RPG. It is a very easy game, so if you're looking for a challenge, look else were. If you love Zelda or Final Fantasy for the game boy, you have to like this.

Beautiful, Fun to Play
Those of you who played Legend of Mana on the original PlayStation may experience some deja vu here and there as you go through Sword of Mana. The ring configuration of the menus is pretty much the same, and after some practice you can zip right through those. The manner of fighting is also similar, with your partner following you around and able to fight independently. The storyline is interesting and I'm continually amazed by the quality of the graphics on the GameBoy SP. This game will definitely help you pass the time, but there are frequent save points if you can't play for hours at a time. Buy this game, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

2-0 out of 5 stars Way to overated insults good RPG fans everywhere.
This game is overated. The story is confusing. The characthers arn't introduced properly. The story will have you running around the same place for hours. You get killed to easy. The bosses are waaaaaaaaaaaay to easy. Half the stuff in the menus/items you don't even use. All the custimizable features arn't used that much. It's a long game but to easy. For the conclusion this game is not recommended for Good RPG players.

5-0 out of 5 stars Adventure fit for Marines.
As someone deployed in Iraq in an area where the action has pretty much died down, one seeks a way to pretty much kill the time. That's where the Gameboy comes in. Normally games don't really catch the attention span of a Marine long enough but after beating the game I have to fight to get it back from everyone else.

Now the game. As with the Mana series, it beats the walk around and fight turn based style by far. Yiu actually have to try and time your attacks on the enemies(especially bosses) which adds a good level of challenge. The character building is also a plus as you can put points into eventually changing classes that provide you with better abilities. Best of all in my opinion is the storyline. As you progress, many things unfold which make your character think and even question what he's doing all along. Much better than the standard go here and defeat whomever(a-la Zelda style)

My unit has just 2 complaints. The character building. It is difficult to discern what you'll turn into. The most I've gotten was going Fighter-Knight-Warlord. That I did with some guessing. I suggest going online for a guide if you wish to end up like lets say a Paladin or something.

The other one is the improvement of weapons. The "temper" system where you get a certain fruit or a vegetable and have it added to your weapon. It's benefits weren't real significant, adding only +1 to attack or such. What's the point of just a +1? And fruit? Last time I tried that, I got yelled at by the armorer for trying to add a banana to an M16. Damn game, putting ideas in my head. Anyway, this game is still a great, great must buy. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

The PlayStation2 takes the Gran Turismo franchise to new heights in thethird edition of the venerable racing series. The graphics are sure to grabyou--the cars and tracks are awe inspiring, and there are some incredible lightingeffects. This game is much more than eye candy, though.

The gameplay in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec is the same as its predecessors;fans of the previous games will feel right at home, while newcomers will be ableto pick things up easily. There are more than 150 cars from which to choose, andplenty of tracks upon which to race them. Arcade mode works well for a quickfix, while simulation mode provides outstanding replay value. The sound effectsare impressive--each engine has a unique sound, and tire screeches fromdifferent cars sound noticeably different. The soundtrack is a good mix oforiginal compositions and a wide variety of recording artists, including MotleyCrue, Raekwon, Jimi Hendrix, and Snoop Dogg.

One minor flaw with the game is its relatively predictable artificialintelligence. Computer-controlled cars follow distinct lines, and you'll be ableto pick up the patterns after a few races. Considering how far the graphics havecome since the original Gran Turismo, it's disappointing that the AIhasn't progressed similarly. Despite this, GT3 remains an outstandinggame. Few games offer its combination of high quality and immense variety.--Raymond M. Padilla

Pros:

 • Incredible graphics
 • Excellent physics and controls
 • Great soundtrack
Cons:
 • Predictable AI
 • No Porsche or Ferrari licenses

5-0 out of 5 stars The best driving you can experience wihtout a real car
This is an excellent game. It's got superb graphics. It's got great sound. The simulation mode physics are impeccable. The animation is smooth, fluid and lifelike.

It's almost as good as driving a real car. That's why I love it and give it five stars. But this same realism comes at a price. The game is not easy -- even in arcade mode. If you're not careful you're off the track and you've lost the race (just like in real life).

To really appreciate GT3, you need to dedicate some time to taking the driving tests in the game. Completing the tests will earn you licenses so you can race "professionally." For anyone who has mastered GT2, this should be no problem. In any case, you need to acquire these licenses to "unlock" portions of the game.

Bottom line: if you liked GT or GT2 I highly recommend GT3. It's simply the best pure driving game I've ever played. And it's the most realistic driving simulation I've ever seen on a console.

If, however, you are looking for a quick, fun and easy to learn car based game, I don't think GT3 is for you. Check out Crazy Taxi (another great game) instead.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game!!!
I can't stop playing it. My wife wishes she never would have bought me the play station 2 console. I love to show the replays to freinds who never play video games, they are astounded by the beauty. The only problem is trying to get the licences, its diving me crazy. Up until ps 2 I never played video games, I would buy new consoles and give them away because I thought they were too cheesy. But this game Rocks! I bought the system, a 53 inch high def, awesome surround, gt force wheel and I'm in heaven.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game since GT2!!!!!!!!!!!
Gran Turismo 2 is one of my favourite racing games. My mum bought a PS2 to play it. but the free games with my PS2 are tedious. Gran Turismo 3 has fewer cars than Gran Turismo 2. but has a few more tracks. The graphics beat 989's Formula One 2001 which I'm steering clear of. I got it today with Crash Bandicoot. My other disc of Crash Bandicoot broke. Gran Turismo 3 is too much better than my SNES games. Buy this.

cool cool...............
This is a preety good game basedon graphics and gameplay but the downside is there is only about 130 cars or so to some people this might seem like alot but to hardcore racing fans i say wait till granturismo 4 comes out there is supposed tobe around 500 cars 100 tracks and picture enhanced backgrounds which means extremely good graphics.
so if your a casual racecar game player this is a good choice

hint if you do buy this game and if u have enough money buy the pagani zonda and upgrade it all the way IT SUPER SUPER FAST YOULL LOVE IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars yoyoyo
this game offers sooo much. it's probably the most valued game to ever be released. the graphics are timless, the gameplay is very exciting and fun, and the style of the game is cool and done very well. there are endless upgrades and cars in this game. the tracks never get old and the races themselves can go on for hours, which is a very tiering bit of realism that is fondly accepted. good game ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Sonic Game Ever
People are all talking about how there are all funky glitches in the game but i havent encountered any yet and ive been playing the game for a while. people also say that the camera cant keep up with you and the game slows down at times??? what are they talking about? that has never happened to me. the camera stays with you the whole time and even when there are like 10 bad guys, it doesnt freeze. this is the best sonic game ever becuase the graphics are awesome, the controls are easy, and its super long. there are 14 levels plus 4 teams to do it with, and.... you need to get an A ranking on all levelss to beat it, which is really hard. I think that anyone looking to get this game should. because it is very much like the original sonic, but better grphics and cooler moves

The best sonic game ever relesed
Pros:
4 teams to chose from
1 team that has only appered once in any sonic game
1 unlockable team called team metal sonic
Fast action and strategy
Nice graphics
cool special stages
You get to kill eggman yay

Cons:
the game is too easy i got every emblem , choas emerald got an A in every mission with every team in 1 day

Overal its a exellent game i would recommend to people who like fast action E mail me and tell me what you think of my review my internet screen name is:

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent game if you are a Sonic fan...
I purchased "Sonic Heroes" for the Gamecube, however recently rented the PS2 version as I was curious as to how it fared against the GC version.

Let me begin by stating that if you have a Gamecube, you may seriously want to consider purchasing the GC version over the PS2 version. The graphics and sound quality are, overall, superior. (I believe "Sonic Heroes" was developed for the GC, then ported over to the PS2/X-Box.)

As for the X-Box version, I can't comment as I haven't tried it. I do own an X-Box in addition to the PS2 and GC, and perhaps will give it a rental try in the future. Given the hardware of the X-Box, I would be inclined to believe that the X-Box version is superior to the PS2 version as well -- but haven't played it, I really can't say.

(Note: By no means am I down talking the PS2. I have a PS2 and there are many PS2 exclusive games for it that I couldn't live without.)

I give "Sonic Heroes" 3.5 stars with the GC and 3 stars with the PS2.

Having played Sonic since the Sega Genesis, I had looked forward (with some hesitation) to "Sonic Heroes". Its a decent game, to be sure, however there are issues that I would like to have seen resolved since the Dreamcast (and GC) "Sonic Adventures".

The main issue being the camera control! The camera control has only been improved slightly since the "Adventures" and still has the player performing blind jumps in many situations.

Overall, if you are a Sonic fan, you'll probably find enjoyment out of this game -- as I do. Implimenting three characters in gameplay, switching on the fly, taking advantage of their individual strengths, was an excellent model that Sega put together. I really like the gameplay.

Its just unfortunate that the game wasn't "polished". Fixing the camera should have been the first priority.

If you are a Sonic fan, again you'll probably get enjoyment. If not, then you'd definetly want to give this a rental before purchasing.

Exellent game,but..........
Exellent game, but ive noticed alot of glitches in this game. Take this for an example(s):1.rarely running through walls.2.getting stuck in stone blocks.3.going through the ground. These are the errors ive found, but really dont bug me that much(because the all happen so rarely.) And also, how come the gamecube version of sonic heroes seems to run smoother? The reason why I ask is because ive tried both versions (Ps2,GC)and I can see a difference. Gamecubes has more sound effects and bolder looks to it.Well,if anybody has an answer, please answer.Well, that about raps it up,so,bye for now.Later days!

5-0 out of 5 stars Blast Through With Sonic Speed!
Remember old Sonic on the Megadrive? How it was all about FUN and SPEED, and not the exploration and questing that the latter Dreamcast sequels seemed to have in abundance?

Well, Kids, Sonic is back and better than ever and now, thanks to some extremely brave and very, very well-executed gameplay changes, regains his foothold as the best platform hero in the world, bar none :-)

Granted, it feels all wrong playing Sonic with a PS 2 pad, but I know I speak for us all when I say I'd rather have Sega Games this way than not at all.

Sonic Heroes consists of all the usual levels - Seaside Hill Zone, Casino Nite Zone, etc., but it's in the teamwork where this game excels. Now, instead of just playing as one Hedgehog or one Echidna or one Bat or whatever, you have to employ teamwork across a cast of three characters per level in order to beat the game. There are 4 teams, so 12 playable characters in all - and range from Staples like Team Sonic (Sonic, Knuckles and Tails) to past characters (Rose the Bat, Big the Cat and Espiosa the... purple thing) to downright oddball characters (Charmy the Bee, for instance). On each team, one character is good for speed, one for strength and one for flying, and you do need to make good use of each character to beat the level you're currently playing. Also, the teams are graded in terms of difficulty, so beginners can start with Team Rose and work their way up, frustration-free.

This adds a huge sense of fun to the game, as well as keeping the Sonic concept fresh and exciting: hedgehog-runs-along-flat-plane is dull-dull-dull, but for the speed freaks the bonus levels are all about speed, and highly reminiscent of the Bonus Stages from Sonic 2. Similarly excellent is the presentation, as one would expect from a Sega game - there are a wealth of options to be unlocked, like new modes of play, the fabulous CG movies, different voices for the characters etc. - all of which makes for an excellent gaming experience.

Thoroughly recommended, this is another feather in Sega's cap and one of my personal favourite Sonic games to date. Enjoy! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Another great Crash Bandicoot game for the Crash B. Fans!
Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity was a great game. It had crash and as always his archenemy Dr. Neo Cortex. This game was better than a lot of the other Crash Bandicoot games because there was no warp room. You could just keep going and changing levels when you got to a certain point and you would even notice you did change levels. It's awesome how you can beat up Cortex the entire game and it's awesome that he actually helps you complete levels. The pictures are a little different as you can tell by the front cover but this game is great for any Crash lovers.

4-0 out of 5 stars A review from a hardcore Crash Fan
Ok, so I think back to the good year 1998 and remember the Christmas present of a lifetime - My little Playstation 1 and with it came a game that started a franchise that would (unbelievably - to some of the orange fur balls critics) still be around in the good year 2004... Crash Bandicoot. I wont deny that this fluff ball hasn't had the best of rides down the platform highway and had churned out many questionable titles such as crash bash and the wrath of Cortex.
However I hold no predjustice as I begin through the new title 'Crash: Twinsanity'. Straight away you are thrown into Crash's humble home of Nsanity Island with old nemesis Dr Neo Cortex hatching another plan to get our furry hero by dressing up as Crash's younger sister, Coco. With this opening cut scene you know straight away that the humour is on a new level - one that actually makes you laugh out loud! The humour is consistent with many jibes towards the past few games that will make hardcore fans laugh and even the humble onlooker giggle (One about the Wrath of Cortex just made me die!).
Something always a bit risky is to introduce a completely new character to a game and straight away make them playable.. Well Traveller's Tales got away with it by introducing Cortex's bionic goth-girl niece(?) Nina Cortex. She's a gem! With only one level as her playable my only criticism was that I wanted more!

Since changing hands with original mums and dads of the bandicoot, Naughty Dog, many companies have tried and failed with the once humorous formula. However I do believe UK developers Travellers Tales got it right this time (thank aku-aku!!).
The game play is fun with the new 'enemies working together but not liking it' angle. This is where we have Crash and Cortex fighting and bashing their way through many levels - Hilarious! Also, I cannot forget, the free roaming angle, which is what we (as the hardcore crash fans have asked for relentlessly) have wanted.

To be honest the humour is class and is supplied mostly by Crash Bandicoot voice-over newcomer (say that with your mouth full) Lex Lang as Neo Cortex. He is always spot on and has taken over from Clancy Brown stupendously!

However the real shining gem is the music. Spiralmouth, an capella group (yes that was what I said!), supply all the music throughout the game and what a musical soundscape!!!! I cant even begin to describe what they do - just buy this game and listen to it - Its beyond words to describe!

However, I do have to slap Travellers tales on the wrist for doing the most awful sin. Camera angles have always been the bain of many a gamers life - So why do it developers?!?!?! You have been warned...

To conclude, this bandicoot has been pulled out of the gutter at last but not all the way. More levels would have lasted the game play more than my 2 hours collectively and to pull out the free roaming areas just a little bit more. But I do believe Crash and his friends are on a way to recovery - slowly but surely I do believe the bandicoot will retrieve his crown... I'll just have to hold on to my breath for the next instalment.

So see you this time next year then.
2-0 out of 5 stars VERY BORING INDEED!
Having seen this game at E3 2004, I must say I'm very disappointed in the look and play.

The game is nothing new and is really bland. The graphics are dated and look rather dull. I would not recommend this game to anyone who had bought the last one.

Look out for Jak 3 or Ratchet & Clank 3, they are much better games and look a hundred times better. I played all three games and this was the boring one!

Is this for real? This game looks pants. I was hoping it would be better then the last one, but in fact it's worse. The game has cut-scene after cut-scene and no real fun factor. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Just Another Common Side Scroller Game
This game really isnt anything special. Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow is almost the exact same thing. But I will admit, The 3D Hub is pretty cool (The Part of The game that isnt a sidescroller). Just Because it is a not original it is still fun to play, But expect to cruise through it in about 6 hours.

4-0 out of 5 stars Doing whatever a spider can
While it doesn't boast any revolutionary features for a GBA game, Spider-Man 2 is still a fun game that GBA owners and fans of the web-head will enjoy. The game is presented mostly in a side scrolling view with typical 2-D GBA graphics fare. Spidey himself is smoothly animated, as are the various enemies throughout the game. The story is told by way of a combination of stills from the blockbuster film, some slickly 3-D rendered artwork, and text dialogue, and presents the story well while incorporating new villains (The Lizard and Rhino to go along with Doctor Octopus) into the mix. Spider-Man 2's only downside are the never ending generic baddies and repititous puzzles that can grate on your nerves, but other than that, Spider-Man 2 for the GBA is solid throughout. All in all, if you own a GBA, and whether you are a fan of the comic or of the movies, then give this a try.

5-0 out of 5 stars Havent seen a good title for my GBS in a hot one
Finally I found a game worth my precious batteries' litle lives. This game is sooooooo good. I didnt know my Game Boy was capable of such brilliant graphics or awesoem gameplay. My kid always wants to play but I can't find it in me to give up my turn. This game is the best game I have playe din quite some time and is definitely well worth every penny I spent on it. I goes everywhere with me and I can't stop playing it. Activision makes the best games. Check out Shrek 2 as well, that game is great too! Not as fun as spidey, but a def great game in its own right.
Take care, comb your hair!

4-0 out of 5 stars Another good webhead game
Being the first reviewer of this game to have actually PLAYED it, I enjoyed it. If you have Spider-Man:Mysterio's Menace, then you'll be pretty familiar with the gameplay. There is a 3-d section of the game that's pretty cool as you choose levels and missions, but otherwise it's a standard side-scroller. The first level has you delivering pizzas. Unfortunately, they give you no idea where your delivery is supposed to go, so you frantically search all the buildings inside and out to find them (HINT: there is a family seated in an apartment in the last building waiting for the pizza. You can only reach them through the air ducts). That's a little frustrating, but the rest of the game gets better. I personally hate the "Chase the bad guy" idea, and this one makes you do just that as you chast Doc Ock through the city. Again, more frustrating "do this again" times, but you can make it.

The biggest letdown is the lack of any vocal work in it. "Max Payne" for GBA showed us it could be done, I just wish the Spider-Man team had taken advantage of it.

Mostly a good (if somewhat repetitive) game. You'll probably like it.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game will be good!
I give this game 5 out of 5 stars because I have the first Spiderman: The Movie GBA game and it's awesome. Don't hesitate to buy this game. I know I won't. ... Read more
