A gorgeous tribute to a champion
This beautiful new addition to the Breyer line is sure to please any collector, old or new. Using the "Adios" mold, his soft shading and realistic details make a stunning portrate of this reining champion.

Sculpted in 1969 by Chris Hess, this mold has been used to represent a number of famous Quarter Horse and Paint horses over the years. His alert expression and solid lines have made him a favorite with collectors for over 30 years.

As with all Breyers, the hand painted finish will suffer a few "rubs" and scratches in the hands of younger collectors, but his sturdy legs and solid tail tend to hold up well. This makes him a good choice for the lower end of the "Ages 8 and up" group and a nice first piece for any horse-crazy boy or girl.

Most Beautiful Model Released by Breyer horses
Excellent model with tons of intricate detail in mold and in painting. Tri-color eyes and tiny dappling make him wonderful!!!

Pictures do not do this gorgeous model justice! When I first saw this horse in PetsMart I didn't even recognize it from the catologue pic. This model is beautiful in person with a beautiful, rich dapple grey body and awesome black and grey mane and tail. This is just one reason I suggest trying to find these Breyers in a store to look at them up close before buying them online.

Great mold for the breed.
Peruvian Paso is a gaited horse bred for his gaits. This model done in a dapple gray is really nice but for the dapples are the splatter kind which doesn't appear in the picture listed.
But if you are a model horse collector or one who shows these models horses, I would buy this model as a repaint prospect only.
I own this model horse and I know the dapples look airbrush but they are really splattered on which makes him look not really good. ... Read more
