A Big Dissapointment
(I am a horse person so sorry if some of the terms like "splint boots" "martingale" and "bell boots" go over your head...)

I was totally looking forward to getting this set for my 9 year old daughter. She loves all the little Breyer accessories and usually really enjoys them. This particular set I was very dissapointed in. First, Jackie came to me almost in tears because she was so frusterated she couldn't get the splint boots on. My husband and I both tried and let me tell you - it was near IMPOSSIBLE. The splint boots should have some sort of velcro like the bell boots but instead you have to get these TINY leather straps through TINY little buckles. It got all of us frusterated. I had to take the splint boots away from her to see if her father could improve them somehow (it turns out he couldn't). Then, shortly after, poor Jackie came to us again...this time with the martingale. It turns out the only great quality Breyer bridle she had couldn't work with this martingale. You see, the bridle's noseband MUST be adjustable! The part of the martingale that attaches from the chest to the nose has to go through a part of the bridle (the noseband).

The bell boots and the saddle pad are fine, thank goodness.

I do NOT recommend this product for your children. Not only could you have the above listed problems, but the parts are very small. If your child doesn't swallow them they will SURELY loose them quickly.

Accessory Set
This is a very cute Idea for a accessory set. Although when i got it, i tried the eq. boots on my horse and the little leather straps broke. And a year or so later the martingale strap came unglued too. Although the pad & bell boots are still in great shape. This isnt very durable because of it's size, so it wouldnt be a good item to play with. ... Read more

If your looking for a fun, durable horse this is the one for you! The pose its in is just great, and wonderful for childs imagintion to explore! But, this defently is an overly priced breyer horse that isn't worth it, when you could just buy Hidalgo, or Cigar for cheaper. ... Read more

Misty rocks!!!!
My sister and I got one of these little ponys each, and man! Do we love 'em! Misty has crisp markings all over her body and she has fur texture from her face all the way down to her hindquarters! Relistic pink shading is on her muzzle and hooves, softening her apearence. Her eyes.... They express so much, character, curiousity, kindness and many other things that human words don't fit! I love this model! If ya own the book about Misty, well, I should say this model will freshin your ideas about that wild little pony! Highly recomanded!

Misty of Chincoteague
Misty is a fun toy to play with but be careful Misty can break or rub but besides that she can be fun and cute with the cute big kind eyes and shes the mother of stormy item19.

This pony is the best there is! She is cute and is easy to play with because of her size. I also love that there is a book made about her that you can read and it is true too! The Breyer Arabian
This Arab stallion is black with 4 white stockings on his legs. He has a white blaze down his face. His head is lowered to a threataning pose with his tail raised to show his leadership. He is in a steady walking pose. This is a one of Breyer's most beautiful models. It is worth every dollar and coin spent.

Pretty good...
This model depicts the Arabian breed pretty well. The only problem I have with it is my model sometimes has trouble standing because of the leg positions (and that's one thing about some models that really drives me crazy). Great set!!!!!!
I'm really pleased with this realistic set! If ya want to see Dog Agility but ya miss it on TV, you can bring the show ring right into your own house! I got this set for my eleventh birthday and BELIEVE me, it is truly a great set! The sheltie that comes with it is VERY realistic! Painted paw pads are on all of her paws that are tipped up! Her eyes are lovely, brown and black. Her tiny tounge is a delacite pink. The Agility Course looks surperb as well! But if ya get unlucky like me, your set might come a little bit broken, but I still recomend it! ... Read more

The Breyer Jack Russell
This is a very cute dog. He is a Jack Russell Terrier. He has a small leash that comes with him and he has a red dog house that you can put him in. The smaller things like the bowl can be easily lost or swallowed. I don't think this toy should be given to any kid under 6. ... Read more

Over-priced
It's a cute little set - and I mean little. Wayyyyy over-priced. (...) Just didn't live up to expectations.

I think that its so sweet that its a little feeding center and the only thing i wish is that the hay flaked like real hay! Than i think that would be more of a learning thing like bid good weight horses get 2 or 3 flakes of hay for dinner and 1 for lunch and breakfast ya you get the point! Plus i think you should get like 4 bales of hay and 4 bags of feed.

Fun and amazingly realistic for the size
The detail on these pieces is wonderful. Very realistic looking and sure to thrill your little horse lover. They are perfect for Traditional sized models and, while they are made by Breyer, they work well with Imaginarium, Hartland, and other brands of the same scale.

The net bag is the most fragile item in the set, but even that holds up fairly well under little hands. While I wouldn't recommend this set for smaller children (some of the pieces are pretty tiny) it's perfect for your horse-crazy gradeschooler. It also makes a nice "accent set" for older horse collectors.

The White Stallion With a Wild Spirit
Based on PBS's "Nature" this model captures the wild in every horse.When Cloud was born, he was small, fragile and weak. He was always trying to act bigger tahn he was, always playing with the other foals and fillys. Then he grows stronger and becomes leader of his herd. When Cloud loses his herd to cattlemen, he is left alone. But soon finds another herd. This model is a posotive must have!!!
