My son loves it, but its a little wobbly
My son just loves this toy. He is 13 months old, and he returns to it several times per day. That said, his interest is almost entirely in the piano portion, which is detachable. So far, he has no interest in the "lego-like" things. He does play with the other half (little creatures which move and make noise), and enjoys them, but not as much as the piano. Of course, he has many music toys, and comes to this more often because it is raised, and as a pre-walker, he prefers to stand.

Problem: he loves to climb, and tries to climb ONTO this table all the time. It is way to wobbly (spelling?) for that, so I'm constantly telling him not to do that. He does seem to be learning, but I still have to keep an eye on him. However, I wouldn't trade this toy for any other he has right now. Not a day has gone by that he hasn't spent 30-60 minutes at it throughout the day since it arrived. ... Read more

It's okay but there's better ones
We bought this for our daughter when she was about 14 months old. She likes the electronic buttons but it's hard for her to drive by herself, and when we push her the front moves so it goes astray. If given the chance, would not buy this again.

Great Toy!
My daughter recieved the Chicco Millennuim toy for her 1st birthday. It came put together, so that was a great help! At first, she wasn't tall enough to sit on it and have both legs reach the ground to push herself, now she can, and loves it. But even then, she would have fun pushing the buttons,and putting the blocks in the slots. She loves to pull the steering wheel off and take it in the car w/her(so the music,and animal sounds will follow us everywhere!)It does get a little annoying as she just holds down a certain button at a time, and we get a barking dog for 15 min.,or a meowing cat,or chirping bird,or car horn...etc. The seat does disconnect when you flip it over, and an adult is required to put it back(sometimes pinches me). At first that was dissapointing, but we've discovered she likes to take it places w/her and play w/the activites on the other side of the seat. The boy who lives next door,just turned 2 and he loves it as well. He is VERY rough w/it - ramming it against the wall, or standing and jumping on the seat, and it remains in tact. All in all, this is a great toy, and I would recommend it to any parent. I know that it will remain in our house,and be one of her favorites for at least another year.

A toy worth fighting over
We set the kitchen timer in 5 minute intervals to share this toy. My 10 month old received this for Christmas. My 2 1/2 year old thinks it's hers. She LOVES the music and rides it around and around the kitchen island. Although my 10 month old is to young to ride the scooter ever since he started standing he has held on to the bar and pushed it. Compared to the other push cars I think the weight of this is best. It has never run away or toppled over. Unfortunately the seat always disconnects when you open it up to play with the blocks inside (an adult has to put it back on). The box showed the shape sorting characters sitting on top of the scooter, they actually fall into the back compartment. They do not stay on top. I love the music...it drives my husband crazy. There is an "off" button if you get tired of listening to it. Definately a good buy!!

A GOOD TOY FOR MANY AGES
My son received this toy a few weeks ago for his first birthday. He LOVES it! The bar in the back is just the right height for a new walker to push, and most of the buttons on the sound board are easy enough for him to manipulate. The little people are cute and the blocks are nice and chunky. The flip-out seat is a little tough to work with (even for sisters aged 2 1/2 and 4), but that's my only complaint! All 3 kids enjoy playing with this toy - each in a different way. It's nice to have a toy that can be played with in so many different ways - I don't think we'll outgrow this one for a long time!

Has issues!
My 2 year old loved the music, building blocks and general features however there are in my opinion two main flaws with this product. Firstly the seat does not stay attached if it is flipped over to the toy section. Maybe this was an error with the unit we purchased but I was forever having to clip it back into the side attachments. Secondly the seat is not solid and my child cracked it when he jumped on it. I did tape the crack but he still managed to snag a piece of skin leaving a nasty cut. Needless to say I threw it out after this incident. So it only lasted 5 months. ... Read more

fun but helmet too small
My almost 4 year old has fun with these skates. They are not fast enough to be dangerous or scary. Only problem is that the helmet is very small. It doesn't even fit my 10 month old, much less the 4 year old it is intended to fit. Beware if your child's head is larger than average!

Only Two Years Old and Blading already!!!
I got these for my 28 month old daughter for Valentines Day as she is fascinated by skating. They are a pain to put on, but she doesn't mind. They have "beginner" settings, which she used for the first hour and then it was on to the "expert" setting! What I like is all the safety gear come with them, so she knows that she has to wear it "all or nothing". These are great and seem to be safe and sturdy...with supervision, of course!

fun to get dressed up for skating
My son got this for his 3rd birthday, and since then I think he's tried the skating maybe 4 times in the past 8 months. He likes wearing the helmet, knee and wrist guards, but the skates are hard to put on. He's pretty agile, but I think this might be more appropriate for a 4 year old or older child. Also, the helmet is not approved for bike riding, which is something to keep in mind.

Great Ride On!
This was my son's Santa gift for Christmas. He was an early walker and 10mo old when he got it. He loved it from day one and pushed it all over. Since then he has learned how to ride it and one of his favorite things is to put things in the seat and push it around. He also love to sit on it and chase the dogs around. At 18mo old this is still one of his favorite toys and is standing up well to my son's constant use and abuse (he does stand on it and sit on it while its on its side). I love to find toys that don't flash and make noise. I think toys like this one encourage more imaginative play. The levers and stuff do reward exploration with spinning, squeaking and simple reactions. This is very sturdy and my son doesn't have any problems with it tipping over. This is definately one of our favorites.

What a fantastic toy!!
We got this for my son's first birthday, and it has been the most popular toy ever since...and even with our almost 4 year old. They fight over it...they love the flip up seat to store all of their little cars and other toys. And the gadgets are great! This is a super sturdy toy..both of my boys have stood on it at one time or another..it seems it can hold up to any abuse! The only thing I would change is to perhaps make the back handle fit more snuggly, but this would only be for parents..when I try to pick it up and move it, the handle comes out everytime...but that's no big deal. We love this toy and couldn't be more pleased!

Neat little train
My sister passed this down to me when her kids outgrew it, and it's a pretty cool ride on. My 1 year old loves to push it around, although when we first tried it, he kept tipping it over (sideways, backwards...). We solved this problem by putting my ankle weights in the handy storage space under the seat. What's nice is that the added weight stabilizes it a bit (I think it's close to 10 pounds of added weight), but doesn't make it harder to push around. I'm sure he'll love it even more when he gets the hang of sitting on it and pushing it with his feet. It went through my nephew's care looking brand new, so it has to be sturdy!

My son love this train
My son got this push/ride train for Christmas at 10 months old. He was at the early walker stage. He loved it from the begining. He pushes it all over the house. He loves the balls and the levers and puts other toys in the seat. He is just starting to be able to sit and push it and he loves it when we give him rides. It is very sturdy and unlike so many toys it doesn't have unneccessary noises and lights. There are cause and effect toys on it but they are not annoying or overstimulating. I highly recommend this train and love many Chicco products.

Best Christmas gift yet.
My two year old daughter just loves this kitchen. It is not to large but has all the amenities of the larger size kitchens. Very easy to assemble.I was most impressed with the high quality materials used in making this set.After shopping around and testing out the more popular brands,I found the Chicco Star Kitchen to be the best. Highly reccomended!

Top heavy item!
I bought this item last year from another retailer for my children. My younger child had knocked it over onto my older one about 30 times in two weeks when i returned it.

My 16 m/o LOVES this!!!!
My daughter got this kitchen set for her 1st birthday. We kept it in the box, storing it in the closet, thinking she wasn't "ready" for it. Now that she's 16 months, we decided to take it out and see if she likes it...she LOVES it!!!! We keep it in our basement (faimly room), and whenever she sees it, she squeals and runs right over to play with it. The size is PERFECT, and it has enough features (doors, knobs, hooks, pull out trays, etc...) to keep my daughter interested. I love (and so does she!) how she can walk around it - it has a stove on one side and a refrigerator on the other. It was quick and easy to assemble and is extremely durable! What an AWESOME gift!!!! It is something that she can play with now, but also enjoy for a few more years.

a mixed review
We originally purchased this scooter for my 1st daughter, now 5, when she was around 2. She is a cautious child, and when we first put her on the machine and squeezed the lever on the left handlebar to make it go, she screamed and jumped off. She wouldn't get back on for a long time, then she would only get on to pretend to ride, she didn't want to make it move.
Now we have twins 13 months old and they are intrigued by the scooter but can't figure it out. The nanny's son Sean, who is just a little more physically advanced at the same age, is starting to figure it out. I think he will be obsessed with it very soon. And I think it will be an object of much contention between Sean and the twins soon also.

The scooter has hard plastic wheels that can't always get traction on certain surfaces.
One of the lenses for the pretend lights has come off.
The fuse blew once and has been replaced.
The batteries seem to last a good while.
The control method (squeezing the left lever) will not apply to any two-wheeled powered vehicle your child may encounter in the future.

Problem with fuses!!!
I too had a problem with the fuses, but then replaced them with a 3.5 amp fuse from the local hardware store, and no more blown fuses. I realize it's an inconvience, but the 2 amp fuses that ship with the toy do not appear to be the correct answer.

Wasted Money
Oh my goodnes! I bought this toy online ... thinking it was a wonderful buy. It arrived today and is much smaller than I anticipated, much too small for my very petite 3 year old who only weighs 27lbs. After FIVE minutes the first fuse blew. I was unable to speak to anybody at Chicco and no-one has returned my call as yet. ...
A HUGE disappointment for me and my daughter. Please save yourself the time and money.

Horribly disappointed
In spite of the warnings from other buyers, I purchased the scooter for my 19-month-old son. Within minutes of him hopping on, the first fuse blew, within 15 minutes we had gone through the two spares. I'm really disappointed. He was so excited about this toy but now just cries over it's non-operation.

This is an OK toy

Award worthy
I saw this award winning toy in Family Fun Magazine and although we don't own other Chicco Toys, I figured if this toy was an award winner and actually chosen by "kids themselves", let me try it. Like most kids, my 3 year old daughter loves animals, especially puppies. This particular puppy actually doubles as the doctor's bag AND the patient (a novel idea). He responds to the different animal shaped medical instruments that are included by making various fun (and not so fun) sounds from heart beats to crying and giggling. The carry handle definately offers an added bonus for fun on the go. We're extremely pleased with our purchase and definately plan to add other Chicco products to Santa's list this year!

I understand why Family Fun Magazine voted this toy as the "Toy of the Year"for 2002. Simple fun with imaginative play is the best way I can describe this toy. This Puppy Vet Kit comes with the cutest animal shaped pretend medicial instruments to examine the puppy dog. When they touch the correct and matching location on the puppy dogs body, it triggers a sensor of cute sounds . What I especially like, is that the doggy is actually a storage case for everything! Lost Memories
My son received this camera as a gift at a "big brother" party / shower so he could take pictures of his new baby brother. He took pictures at the hospital when our new addition arrived and then took it on school field trips. His teacher allowed him to use it on his birthday at school to capture some of his birthday memories. When we took the 3 rolls of film to be developed, not one picture came out. My son was devistated. He has since given it to his baby brother so he can "push the bottons". I overheard him telling his little brother "not to put film in it though because it doesn't work!" Now if a 5 year old can figure out it doesn't work, why didn't someone at the Chicco company wise up and do something about it?!?!

My Son Loves It!!!!
My son has so much fun with this camera. He loves taking pictures - we've already developed some pictures and he gets such a kick out of what he's done. This is a great way to express himself artistically.

I bought this camera for my young son who sees me using my camera all the time. I thought he'd get a kick out of tagging along and taking his own photos. I was right. He loves it. He's only 2 1/2, so I haven't even bothered loading film in the camera. He's just happy clicking away. The camera is wonderful. Absolutely worth the money.

My Mother-in-law bought two of these pieces of junk for grand children for Christmas, and neither camerad worked. The film did not advance correctly, the sprockets tore the film and the shutter release did not work on either of them. Both are completely useless, and the kids are heartbroken. Great toy for 2 year old
I got this for my 2 year old daughter and she has loved it from day one. It's of good quality construction and very light so it can be moved easily. She goes up the steps and down the slide or up the slide and down the steps !!

Fun, colorful, very durable, and cute design from Chicco!
I recently purchased this item for my 2.5 yr old son after a thorough search for small indoor/outdoor slides. I am a HUGE fan of Chicco products and was very excited to see their new line of playground equipment. Their Happy Garden collection also includes a tomato playhouse, pumpkin sandbox, eggplant rocker, and peapod multiswing.

I saw a picture of this slide on another website and thought it's design (the handrails are shaped like smiling carrots) was very unique and different from other toddler slides on the market. This slide is made in Italy and is constructed of very thick, heavy-duty plastic so I expected a very high-quality product -- which is exactly what I got! When not in use, I can fold it and store it (a necessity in my small house). My toddler absolutely loves it, as does my 14-month-old (I help her up and down the slide). It's stable, just the right height, and easy for my toddler to climb. The only problem I have is that the slide itself is slightly steep; my son has had a few rough landings. I recommend constant supervision with this toy.

Overall, I am very pleased with the slide and hope to add more of Chicco's veggie playground equipment to my kids' collection. I'm sure it will provide many hours of enjoyment for my kids for years to come. ... Read more

Perfect for busy yards.
This sandbox is the answer to prayers. Not only is it sturdy with a good cover (that neighborhood pets cannot defeat) but it is also nice to look at. We had been everywhere, looked at everything but either the boxes were way too poorly built or they were way too gaudy. It's nice to have kids around but it doesn't have to look like it all the time.
