Dora Floating Island bathtub toy
My 3 year old daughter carli went nuts in the store when she saw this bathtub toy. She does play with it everytime shes in the tub, but I am not happy. Due to the holes in the characters that come with the set its more work for me to have to struggle to get the water out of them after each bath. The last thing us mothers need is more work! My 3 year old does love the toy and because I love her I will keep it and continue to squeeze the water out after each use.

Daughter loves this - as a parent I'm a bit less impressed
I bought this for my two year old daughter who absolutely loves this toy. Whenever I say it is bath time she responds "Dora Island?' and heads for the bathroom. Unfortunately, I am a bit less impressed. For starters, Dora, Diego and Boots float face down in the water. The little boat that it comes with will not hold one of the characters sitting up, they have to lie down or the boat will tip. This does cause my daughter to repeatedly try to get the character in the boat and she eventually gives up. Each character is made of a reasonably hard plastic, but each has a hole in the bottom. Of coarse, water fills each character and it is very difficult to get the water out for drying (which the instructions do recommend you dry this toy between uses). The slide has a snap together part which also fills with water that is impossiblt to get out. We have only had this toy for two weeks but I am beginning to worry about mildew building up. I give this toy a 4 because I know these are minor issues, but I would have thought Fisher Price would have given these issues a bit more thought. If I had it to do all over again I probably would have had my daughter only play with this on dry land!

All Dora...all the time
That is it, my life has officially been taken over by this sweet little Latina. (Well, her and my 3 yr old daughter who is obsessed w/ her!) I bought this for my daughter because she loves all things Dora. And let me tell you, she LOVES this. It makes bathtime more fun. Even on days when she's not interested in personal hygiene, she can be lured to the tub of water with this little toy. It is great for imaginative play. She creates all sorts of little stories with the 3 characters included (Dora, Boots, and Diego). She also loves to pour water into the tree and see Swiper spin around. It's made fairly well. A break-out wall!!!
We are really excited about this addition to the set - the castle itself has some nice design points like the stairs to the trap door, the claw on the string to grab people (Use your imagination heavily with this, it doesn't wind to pull back), the codor/eagle that shoots, and the BREAK OUT DOOR! Our two older kids, 10 & 11, had to 'discuss' who would get the important door feature, really a favorite for our archtects. Our toddler likes using the bird to fire at stacks of the guys like target practice and the 2nd grader likes to put the leftovers with other pieces to make different looking castles. The blue stonework for the new stuff is a really nice touch.

CHOKING HAZARD-----keep your eyes on this one!
We bought this to enhance my son's "ramps around garage." My son, a 22-month-old, plays fairly gently with his toys. Last week, as he was playing with this, the yellow "gas" hose that attaches to the toy broke right off. It broke into two separate pieces, one about an inch, the other about 2 inches....definite choking hazards! My son was confused about what happened, so he brought the pieces to me. Luckily, he didn't stick them in his mouth. I contacted the company, and there are not any recalls or replacement parts for this item. I don't think I would recommend this toy, but if you do have it in your home, I would strongly recommend sitting right by your toddler whenever he or she is playing with it! I was only a few feet away, but he still could have tried to swallow the pieces!

Mom of 3 boys
This toy was mainly bought so we could have more vehicles for the big garage, but the last reviewer was right, this toy is pretty junky. I expected more from this toy especially because it is Fisher Price. They love the Little People videos, they watch them over and over again, all day long. The car wash part of this toy is pretty lame overall, but my 7 month old likes to chew on it so at least it gets some use.

very disappointed
we bought this toy for are 3 year old, well very disappointed. The car wash is junk the ramp is hard to move up and down. I can't see how they expect a 3 year old to move it when I have trouble moving it. Will be returning to the store. Great Toy!
After reading a few of these reviews I just had to put one of my own in. You certainly CAN hook the firestation onto the track. One side has the links that you are familiar with, the other side has tiny tounge and groove type links. The fire station hooks on to the tounge and groove and then the other side to the rest of the track. My son loves this train set at 2 1/2 it is hard to keep his attention on something for any length of time. But this train set keeps him occupied for hours on end!!

Very disapointing to a little one
My son is in love with fire trucks, and fire stations....and trains.

He recieved this as a christmas gift, and was disapointed that the train does not run thru it. Yes, you can connect the station to the track, but it is only on one side. IF the train were to run thru it, it could NOT continue its way around the track, because the other side (front of the firestation) has no way to lock a piece of track in. I do not understand how the previous reviewer is locking the pieces in so that her son can run his train thru the station, because even the end pieces do not fit.

But just to play with, my son absolutely loves it.

Yes You Can!
My 3 1/2 year old son got this for Christmas and he just LOVES it! And, contrary to what another reviewer said, you CAN connect the tracks so it runs thru the station, as we do that every time we change the tracks around. These sets are easy for a small child to put together (and they do stay together well) and rather entertaining. I recommend this highly as a first-train for any toddler.

Our Son is Thrilled
Our 3 year old son picked this out to use up a Christmas gift certificate. He got the GeoTrax system just days before. He's thrilled with it. True it doesn't connect directly with the train system. But it shows that on the box. The door rotates around and out son has loved driving the fire engine around and around the "traintable" as he calls it.

Not very pleased!
My son loves trains and we bought him this for christmas to add on to his geotrax train. He was very disappointed that we cannot hook this on to the track to make the train run through the fire station. Very disappointing for a 3 year old! ... Read more

Fun little car
My daughter has loved this car since the day we bought it. The thing that first got her attention were the sounds. She loved to hear the baby laughing and the horn honking. She also liked the "engine" sounds. She loves to just push the car around and even puts the mom in the stroller and acts like it's a car too! It is such a great, fun toy at a super price.

Marvolous Mini Van
This mini van deserves 5 stars overall because I can pretend that it drives anywhere! The grocery bag can make the people go to the grocery store and home if you have the sweet sounds home. The possibilities are endless. It is education valued because it shows safety-for instance: the baby in the carseat. It scored 4 stars on duradility because the trunk came off a few times. Otherwise, I LOVE it!

1 year old Daughter LOVES this toy!!!
Our One Year loves this toy. She started playing with our 4 year old boys cars and so I got this for her to not only be a bigger car to push around but for her to start a collection of Little People...she drags it everywhere and loves the music. She has even packed the figures in the van as to give the whole neighborhood a ride. She somehow figured out that the back door opens and put the baby stroller in and then closed it...I didnt even show her, so it is educational in that it teaches a child all about a car. I would reccomend this item to anyone it is cute and fun and our volume is not too loud as others have said, and I am pretty allergic when it comes to loud noises!

Cute toy!
My one-year-old daughter likes this van, but it's not one of her favorites. She likes to play the music, but that's about it. And it's so loud! I guess it just wasn't her thing!

Cute... but really loud!
This little mini van is very cute, and my 3-year old daughter loves it. Being a music nut, she especially likes to push the button and play the song. I do wish the van had a volume control, though, because it's REALLY loud! This seems to be an issue with a number of Fisher-Price toys, like the Little People Ferris Wheel / Carnival set. The van is also pretty sturdily built, except for the open-able tailgate, which my daughter took off almost immediately. Again, I've had this sort of problem with other Little People toys' doors. This isn't a big deal, and it certainly doesn't affect the toy in any other way. It's also fun to use the mom and baby with other Little People sets, and vice versa. A good addition to your little people family
Cute, durable and educational. I really like the fact that there's a male and female of each species. Great for playing with the Noah's Ark set or the Zoo set. Also they're very durable, my daughter loved chewing on them and you couldn't tell it by looking at them now.

More great Little People fun
These animals are a great buy if you are buying the Little Peoples Noah's Ark as your little one can have even more fun role playing with all the different animals.

Each animal is has a difference so you can tell them apart and say one is male and one is female. My children love matching and lining up. They also enjoy all the extra animals for their Little People collection. Our animals have visited the Little People Farm, and riden on the school bus we have.

As with all Little People sets we have found these to be easy to keep clean and extremely durable.

Recommended especially if you have or are buying the Noah's Ark.

Great toy!!!
We bought this toy along with the Little People Noah's Ark for my son for Christmas. He loves this toy. The animals are not too small as he likes to chew on them. He plays with this toy everyday. They are durable!!!

Too Cute!
Educational and fun. My 19 month old daughter loves to play with the alligators especially. And she points out the birds that say "tweet tweet" on the backs of the hippos. Too cute!

The Ark is Complete!
My son just received this set for his birthday, completing the ark. This set is really cute. I gave it a 5 for fun, because it is cute to see all of the animals with the ark. These are just as durable as the other Little People stuff. The don't make any noise and fit into the Ark. If you have the Ark, you have to complete it with the animal sets. ... Read more

Dragons WHOOOO HOOOO!
All right!! My family LOVES this part of the set - we have almost the entire collection (Glow in the dark Pirate stuff we haven't found yet) and this is one of our favorite additions.

We have girls (3) and boys (3) aged from 3 to 37 years. (Mom and Dad play too!) Our toddler loves the dragon, our 2nd grader loves the stone dragon, our 'tweens' love the pieces that add more details (nice rock formations), and Mom & Dad love that everybody can play.

This stuff is sturdy, can be taken apart and made again or combined with the other castle pieces to make a bigger castle or in our case four different battle stations! ... Read more

Cute Stroller Toy
I just bought this from my 3 month old daughter. She loves when you press the cows nose and it plays the music and the lights but the down side is at this age I have to do it for her but her little face lights up whenever I do press it. She isn't in her stroller very much so hopefully by the time she is out of the infant car seat and we use the stroller alone she will be able to press the nose herself and interact more with the toy. However I do love the linkadoo loops so you can add and change the toys for baby. I would recommend getting this toy. ... Read more

Items are difficult to get out of backpack
I'm finding that the opening to the backpack is small in relation to the camera and the binoculars, and the kids are having a hard time getting their hand inside the backpack and pulling out what they want. They can reach in and grab the item; but, when they go to withdraw their hand with the item in it, their hand hits the narrow opening and this knocks the item out of their hand. So, they tend to tip the backpack upside down and shake it to get the items out. Since you really don't want to make the items smaller, I think the opening needs to be bigger.

Lots of fun!
We bought this for our daughter, a huge Dora fan and she LOVES it! In fact, we carted it all the way to Kauai and back. It has been dropped, pounded on, slammed and still looks brand new. I would recommend this toy for anyone who is a Dora fan.

Love Dora
My 3 year old received this as a gift and plays with it every day. My 22 month old also loves playing with it. They fight over it but always seem to split up the pieces so they both can play with it!!! Only complait was that the bracelt is too big for my daughters arm. But other then that it is a great toy!!! I remond it!!!

The Dora Back Pack
I was a little unsatisfied with this toy. It is very durable but the toys are very hard to fit inside the plastic back pack. It is also hard to get them in and out of it. My daughter is four and LOVES Dora but she plays more with her fabric Dora back pack more then she plays with the plastic one. It is musical but not very entertaining to her.

Fun toy for all ages

Baby Pinball...A Great Way to Scare an Infant!!!!!
I was so excited to get this toy at such a great deal from Amazon, then I showed it to my 5 month old son... He started screaming an d the dog even ran under the kitchen table!! The toy is very loud and noisy as it shoots the "pinballs" from one side of the toy to the other. The music is terrible too. I have a bad habit of buying anything that may be of interest to our son. I think that I have learned my lesson with this toy that scared him (and the dog) so badly!!

Alright toy
I brought this for my son when he was 4 months old to help with tummy time. It help a bit, but not enough to be worth the money. He had no problems pushing it, but with only two things with play with he quickly became bored with it. The music, spinning sun, and the balls wouldn't hold his attention for long after less than a week.

Not worth the money
My daughter received this toy as a gift for christmas. She loved it. The lights, the music, and especially the ball popping back and forth.

However, 2 months later, it stopped working. How disappointing! Not worth the money!

It's a Ball!
My husband and I bought this toy for my son for christmas. He is fourteen months old with devlopmental delays, so it's hard to find toys that he can opperate. He loves this one! I'd say it is his favorite by far. It is very easy to operate and he plays with it for hours. The lights, movement and sound keep his attention very well. The only negitive is that it is hard to attach to the crib, But the end result is well worth the struggle!

Great for Tummy Time!!!!
My 3 month old son hates tummy time, until now. He loves this toy. He use to only tolerate tummy time for 1 to 2 min. but with this toy he will play for much longer. He has built up so much upper body strength in the little time we have had the toy.

Very good but consider the TRex instead
We got both the TRex and the Allosaurus.Our boy loves them both, but for the extra five bucks the TRex is about twice as big and it roars.So if you're only buying one, I'd go with TRex.

New Favorite
My son got this as a gift for his 4th birthday. We've never seen these before but the second he unwrapped it, it became his newest, most bestest toy ever!

We're going to buy more with some of his birthday money!

very cute
I bought this toy for my six week old baby. She's too little to really care about toys, but she loves to look at the colorful blinking lights and seems to enjoy the music. She lays on her tummy and spends good 10-15 minutes being entertained with this toy. I think that it's quite a miracle that anything can hold her attention that long. Pretty soon, she'll start enjoying the mirror too. I like that this toy uses normal batteries, as I found out that lots of toys use of this type use non-replacable batteries. ... Read more

Great for Imagination
I purchased this for my 5 year old and it's provided hours of imaginative fun for several children ages 5 through 11. There are several electronic features which have been fun for her to discover and have encouraged even more play. Well worth the money.

my kids LOVE this toy
This is a really cute toy. My 4 year old daughter has played with it every day since she got it for Christmas. She has even gotten her brother to be interested in it with her. Definately worth buying.

friendship pony stable - lots of fun
My daughter adores horses.I would be surprised if there were many
girls with more horses/ponies than she has.She asked Santa for this as soon as she saw the Fisher Price catalogue. She loves it.
She has the whole collection and plays for hours at a time with
them. She knows all their names and has the greatest pretend parties and school days with them. Great to stimulate their imagination.

Not for everyone!
My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday. I read her the book several times, and that was her favorite part of the toy. She played with it for about 15 minutes and then wasn't interested anymore. I think this toy would be great for a little girl who shows interest in ponies. Perhaps my daughter is not at the right age to act things out, but I felt that her options with this set were limited, and there was not much she could do with it.

She loves it!
I gave this toy to my little girl for her 3rd birthday. What she really wanted was the My Little Pony celebration castle but after reading the reviews on that toy, I couldn't see myself buying it. I think this was a good substitute. First of all the toy seems very durable, no flimsy pieces on this toy. There aren't a whole bunch of small parts to lose (the toy comes with just a few accessories and actually has a place to store them). My daughter plays with Comet the pony that came with the set, as well as Twinkles (an accessory pony) and also all of her other ponies including her my little ponies. The only thing I have negative to say about this set, is that Haley the little girl isn't a very good rider! I think she could have been designed a bit better so that she would stay on the horse! PERFECT FOR 3 YEAR OLDS!!!
I justbought this kitchen for my three year old daughter and she loves it, but the best part about it is when she is done playing I can store it away in the closet or cabinets, ect. ect. unlike the huge child size kitchens that take up so much space. It is a perfect size for her american girl doll and Barbie kelly baby doll.works great for us and I just went today and bought the washer dryer combo and the food sets. We love it!
