Editorial Review

This toy will make you want to take a nap. Equipped with straps that attach it to a crib, this play aquarium and music maker is the perfect thing to amuse a child or soothe them to sleep. There are three settings, depending on what kind of stimulation is needed: music only; music plus soft glowing lights; and music plus lights, bubbles, and moving fish. There are also three music options, the best one offering soft and melodic New Age fare, the other two somewhat odd, spacey versions of familiar lullabies. The music combined with the lights creates an instantly peaceful, soothing ambiance. There are a couple of buttons and doodads for baby to bat around that make the fish react in various ways. If these buttons were a little more responsive, this toy would be near perfect. --David Stoesz ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My little one goes to sleep everynight w/ this toy
We really like it. I had the older one for my 6 year old. Now my 7 month has had this one for 6 months, and has listened to it everynight before bed. He has now learned how to turn it on and off himself. I would highly recommend this toy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Second baby still loves it
I love this aquarium. We first had the older version of it with my first son (broke it when he got older). Then we got this one for my now 6 month old. I change his dipes in the crib sometimes or let him play there and I just turn it on for him to watch. He loves it. I LIKE that it can be loud because when I lay him down for a nap, I want it to drown out the noise in the background... like of my almost 3 year old racing through the house.

It definitely keeps him entertained and even moreso as a newborn.

3-0 out of 5 stars ok toy
This is just an ok toy. My 9 month old son likes it ok but it not one of his favorites. The motor is loud and it's kind of creepy music. I would recommend getting a different toy to soothe your little one back to sleep. My child just mainly likes to play with it a few minutes or so.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not quite what I expected
The ocean waves sound really soothes my son to sleep, but I have to keep the volume turned down all the way. I can't believe how loud the volume is for a nightime toy. Also, I can't turn the bubbles on because the motor is so loud if it doesn't keep the baby awake, it keeps me awake over the monitor. The bubbles are the major reason I bought it, so I'm not exactly thrilled with it. I just feel like there was probably something else out there we both would have liked better.

4-0 out of 5 stars Helps her learn to go back to sleep on her own
I bought this for my daughter when she was just 1 month old, she is now almost two and she still loves it. You can adjust the how low it hangs down in the crib so I have never had a prblem with her head getting hurt. She loves to push it by herself, and when she wakes up in the middle of the night she just sits up and pushes the button and goes back to sleep. The Bubbles are a bit to loud to use when she is older though and the music is also a bit loud for a crib toy. But the running water noise saved us when she was a baby. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME TOY!!!!
I bought this toy when my son turned one. By far has been the best toy we have bought yet!! Finally a toy that is fun, teaches, and keeps them entertained at the same time! Worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good for learning and keeping kid occupied
My son loves this. I bought it for him when he was 9 months old and he is now 12 months and still has a blast. My nephew who is 24+ months old loves it too when he comes over. Every item has a function and there are even toys that you can buy to go with it. Like a birdhouse and a phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars The mom who only buys fisher price
I found the Toys R Us near me carried this toy so I went to get it, my 11 month old daughter really enjoys it, she likes to dance to the music, and crawl through the door, and open in and close it, over all this toy is really neat, but the problem I have with it is my light does not stay on when you turn the light swith to on, it sometimes would blink, but now it doesn't work at all, so I probably will have to return it and get a different one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great bang for your buck! So many activities!
Wow! This is a new Fisher Price toy that I hadn't heard of before - but knew I had to have it when I saw it. My daughter loves to crawl in and out of things, so I thought this would be a great floor level toy that might keep her interest. This was purchased for her first birthday and I think we are still discovering new buttons and such! There are so many activities and interesting things on this toy that I think the price was a real bargain! The house numbers, the rain gutter, the radio, the clock, the window, the mailbox, etc, etc! There are sounds for nearly every activity, and even the sounds can be changed depending upon what setting the radio is on. My daughters current favorite place in the "house" is the mail box. She loves putting the mail in and out of it. She gets very excited and just chatters away at this toy - crawling in and out of the door and listening as it "creaks" open and then "slams" shut. The toy overall seems to focus mostly on the concept of opposites (night/day, up/down, open/close, etc) and numbers.

There are two volume settings - the lower one being just loud enough for her to hear it while she is playing (thank you Fisher Price!) and the other much louder. On the lower setting, I cannot hear it unless I am sitting at the toy with her.

I just can't say enough about all the activites - I expect that this will be a toy she can play with for a long time without getting bored of it! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars ok Product with minor flaws
I purchased this because I love the Ocean Wonders line. It is just like a play gym. The Octopus toy has is battery operated but the batteries cannot be replaced so if your planning on having more children and what to pass this down its a no go. Secondly the one I have (I may just have purchased a defective one) comes apart too easy and is a chore putting together. The toys come off the bars way to easy the velcro on mine hasn't been sticking to well. And a couple of the toys are more like the toddler toys from MC Donalds. I hate to say this I usuaklly give FP high marks
Sure this is fun for some babies but there are other babies Ive seen that get bored with this quickly. And there are Play Gyms with better (and more) toys in this price range that will grow with your baby.

Fact: There's a reason why playgyms are made in Red black in white : Because its easier for babies to see at the time when these playgyms are in use.

4-0 out of 5 stars ocean fun!
My son is nearly 2 months old and already loves this toy. He bats and kicks the toys hanging down. He's still too small to activate the songs from the octopus but this allows mommy and daddy to sit there with him and play too. The colors are fun and the characters are simply adorable. What's awesome is that this can be used for a boy or a girl and it also has many other matching items (ie. bouncer and swing). My only critique is that I wish there were activities on the mat itself to help with tummy time play.

1-0 out of 5 stars Children not interested
I am a mother of 7 month old Quads, and I am always looking for something to help me entertain them. I thought that this would be a great toy for them, but I was wrong. All 4 of them just lie there and stare at the toys. They can't reach the Octobus thing, and don't really care about the ball. I am very disapointed.

1-0 out of 5 stars Great!!!!
My daught just loves this item. It's a fun little toy to have and you can take it along with you any were. It does not take up alot of space.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a wonderful swing!
I bought this swing after hearing great compliments from some of my cyber mommy friends. Wow, were they right. My son loves this swing. Everytime he cries I turn on the features with the lights and music including the fish mobile, and he stops crying. The music feature also plays some famous lullabies, ocean sounds and running water. Plus, the fact that it swings sideways as opposed to front and back, is what I think he enjoys too. It has two ways of swinging(east to west/north to south). I love the bright colors in the fabric, they are really pretty to look at, especially for a 5 month old. One more feature I forgot to mention is a pouch on back of the swing for storing things. I would recommend this swing to everyone out there. It was money well-spent and so easy to assemble. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Toys that grow with your child from infancy to toddlerhood are well worth their cost. The Classical Chorus Gym is one such toy, allowing your child to explore music at every stage of his development. As an infant, your child can lay on his back and bat at the hanging toys while the keyboard plays 10 different classical or nursery melodies, some with a children’s chorus. You can set the music to play continuously for up to 10 minutes, or only when your child successfully hits a toy, teaching him cause and effect. When your child learns to sit, the keyboard adjusts with him to the proper height, and then adjusts one more times to accommodate a standing or walking child. At these stages, you can set the music to play part of a song when your child presses a key or let your child experiment with scales and individual notes. The keyboard’s "singing" stars light up as music plays to further delight budding musicians. The Classical Chorus Gym requires three "C" batteries for operation. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Extremely Versatile
We bought this toy when our son was just two months old and he loves it. We are at five months now and he still gets a huge kick out of it.
There are so many ways to play! At first we'd lay him on his back an he would swat at the dangling rattles. They are bright and attention-getting. When he'd hit one, music would play and the lights would flash; it kept his attention. It didn't take much effort, and helped develop his coordination. There aren't many toys a two-month-old will play with. Then he learned that he could push the buttons to play and change songs.
The toy is re-positionable, so it can be used when the baby is laying down, with the rattles hanging. Tilt it at 45 degrees and sit him in a bouncer or car seat under it. At 90 degrees when he's standing (we still have to help him stand). And with a switch in the legs' configuration, it can be positioned so that he sits and plays.
There are (at least) 6 sound modes, ranging from one button playing a whole song, through pressing buttons that prompt a song to continue, to one button being a single tone (like a keyboard).
We love this toy and so does our son. It is good for just about everything except tummy time. We expect to get at least a year out of the developmental value.
Just another two things about it: it is very sturdy construction, but not a good toy to balance or lean on, and it is EASY to reconfigure.

It Grows With Your Child !
Another must have for every new parent !

We bought when dd was several months old, however we were still able to get some use out of the hanging toy feature. She loved it because she could control the music when it stopped. We also found that she would try to reach beyond the hanging toys and press the piano keys.

Then as she got older, we would sit her in front of the piano inside her boppy. She loved the fact that she was playing upright and would constantly watch all the colors. The keys on the piano were nice and big for her to hit as she gained more control of her hands.

Then as she got to the standing age, she would use this tall piano to stand up with. We never had a problem with it tipping over because the legs seemed to be positioned just right to prevent this from happening. As the months went on, she would push the piano throughout the house when she didn't feel like using her activity walker. Several months ago she began to press keys on setting 2 and she would dance to the music. Now at 20 months she tries to sing along with the songs (ie Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) and also recites the colors as they light up.

The variety of songs is great. You don't really get tired of them. Also, we've had for almost 18 months and have never needed to replace the batteries yet.

We very seldom use setting 3 (the one that lets you play it like a real piano) because we have a real piano that she tries to play.

The entertainment and educational value on this toy cannot be compared. It's so nice that it grows with your child. We definitely feel like we got our monies worth ! It has proved to be extremely durable!

A couple minor complaints that I have is that there is no volume control. Sometimes it does seem as though it's a bit loud. Also the orange plastic piece that snaps in above the keyboard doesn't really seem to provide any value. DD just kept pulling it off and found that the force of pulling would cause her to fall backwards to the floor - - after several times of doing this, we decided to just not put it back on.

Great toy - great value ! !

A great beginning toy
We got this toy as a gift and my daughter has loved it ever since she was just a few weeks old. She started out watching the lights on the mirrored attachment and has loved every feature; the dangling toys, the keyboard, the music. I was even able to turn it into a kicking toy. She loves to kick the keyboard and make it play. It keeps her attention for LONG spans of time.

My daughter's favorite toy!
We bought this toy when my daughter was 5 months old. She is now 16 months old and STILL loves it. It was one of the first toys that she played with when she was an infant. It helped her to learn to control her legs. It's not a "battery hog" either, even if you forget to turn it off, like we do. It also breaks down for easy travel.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this toy!
My son loves this toy. We've had it since he was 4 months old and he is now 9 months old. He plays with it everyday. It entertains him for hours on end. I would say this is the best toy we have. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars 100 times better than the Ocean wonders Kick& crawl Aquarium
Originally I bought the Ocean wonders aquarium playgym, and now I learned my lesson. I returned it and bought this one because:

This product you can replace the batteries, with the ocean wonders once the batteries are dead the toy is done you can't replace the batteries for some reason.

There aren't that many toys that go with the Oceans, and they can easily come apart and fall onto my baby. With the Garden you have a ton more toys that can be used with it and with the oceans you are told that you can't use other toys.

More play space: this product grows more with baby and keeps them entertained.

My ocean wonders kept coming apart easily (mat) and I would spend most of the time putting it back together again. But the weird thing was it was really hard getting the loops through the holes to connect the top two bars and frame.

This Gym is 39.99 and is totally worth it

The Ocean wonders at 29.99 is a rip off

PS:
The Ocean Wonders contains toys which mimic Mcdonald's Toddler toys in quality. Plus if you wanted to use it for another child part of it couldn't be used again if the batteries in the Octopus were dead

3-0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings....
We received this toy as a gift and loved it. The colours are great and baby loves the mirror and toys with it. He began playing with it at 2 months. At at 3 months he was able to kick it hard enough for it to detach from the base and fall over. Our love for this toy began to diminish. Luckily it fell away from him. At 4 months the bird that pops out of the birdhouse broke off. Love turned to like. We contacted FP and are in the process of shipping it back in order to receive a check to cover the cost of a new one. The amount they will send us in 3-4 weeks after receiving the toy is $33.59. The price here is $39.99. Of course if we had a receipt we could get the full amount, but it was a gift. Not sure if we will get another. Still undecided. Cute and entertaining, but is it safe?

3-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous and Fun!!!
My daughter absolutely loves this toy! I was leary about buying a playmat in the first place because my oldest daughter (now 2 1/2) was never interested in them. I took a chance with my youngest (now 4 months, was 3 months when I purchased it)and she blew me away! Her motor skills are developing so rapidly and I know that it has a lot to do with her playmat. She likes to kick the toys on the birdhouse more than bat at them but she loves to reach for, grab, and chew on the link a doo animal rings... and the playmat is so easy to clean. I just throw it in the washer with her laundry and then line dry (dries quickly too). I recommend this toy to any parent with a new baby!

5-0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!
I am not sure why people have had problems with this falling over. My 3 week old baby girl and my two year old love this. It is sturdy, bright and colorful. My older daughter plays with the baby and it has really been a wonderful toy. I would recommend it highly. Great product and the interchangeable parts make it an ever changing toy. A+

3-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed....for now...
We bought this little playmat for my son so that he could develop his muscles for tummy time. At 21/2 months, he still is not interested in being on his tummy. I am still looking around for a product that will spark his interest. My son will look at the flower for a while and bat at the toys, but then he will quickly lose interest and start crying. I like the Linkadoos line because of the brightly colored toys and idea of inter-changing them with other Linkadoos products. Hopefully, my son will like this playmat in the future and be well worth the money we spent on it! ... Read more

This gentle, whimsical toy provides gentle stimulation and interactive play for a baby or toddler. There are three balls, each with a different colored fish inside, that the child can place inside the fishbowl, prompting soft music and happy, bubbly sound effects. The music and sounds also play when the balls are moved around inside the bowl. The unit has a rounded bottom so it can be gently rocked, and there are two volume settings; a feature parents are sure to appreciate. Requires 3 AA batteries (included). --David Stoesz ... Makes Me Want to Dance :)
This toy was great when dd was learning how to control her hands. The whole that you drop the balls into was large enough that she didn't have troubles "missing". The balls where just the right size for little hands to hold on to.

It is extremely durable - dd dropped the entire fish bowl several times and the balls have been dropped, kicked, stepped on and who knows what else - they all still work just like the day we opened the box. Even though dd is now 20 months old she ocassionally still pulls this toy out to hear the fun music and see what other treasures she can insert into the bowl. Also, we like the volume feature.

She didn't seem to pay much attention to the "floating/spinning" items inside the translucent balls. Also we would bring this along to grandma & grandpa's house frequently - and since they have a dog, we found it difficult to easily get all the dog hair out of the fishbowl. And finally we wish that it played a few more toons. The one song it does play is definitely upbeat and doesn't seem to get annoying as quickly as a lot of the toys out there.

A great toy to have!

One of our baby's favorite toys
Ever since our son was 2 months old, he likes looking and listening to the fishbowl. Now at 6 months, whenever he is near it, his eyes are glued to its direction. He loves grabbing for it and watching the lights and movement. You have to move the bowl three times in order for the music to start. The first two times, it makes a bubbling sound and the lights turn on. My husband and son now have a routine: Our son moves it and watches the fishes move and the lights flutter. On the third time when the music starts, my husband dances around the nursery with our son in his arms - It's really cute and always makes our son smile! I can't imagine him being bored anytime soon with this toy. He has yet to discover the flutterballs inside. Highly recommended!

Disappointed
My son loved this toy, until it stopped making noise and lights, and it wasn't the batteries. Very disappointed, since it seemed to be a huge hit with him from birth until it stopped working.

not to great after 12mo
This toy kept my son entertained for a while when he was 9-12 months. After that he was more interested in stacking or pushing buttons. He does still play with the balls, throwing them at everything he can!

Great Toy, Lots of Fun, Still Gets Lots of Use After 2 Years
I got this toy for my twins when they were around 6 months old. The sounds are soothing, the water, fish, and glitter are appealing, and this sucker is built solidly! The flutter balls are also a big hit to take in the tub. Even though my almost-3-year-olds are well past the Put In, Take Out stage of playtime interests, they still like to play with this toy now and then.

It still looks like new after 2 1/2 years of being rolled around, dropped, and sat upon. ... Read more

There's lots to see, hear, and do with this toy that willfoster the developmental skills of a toddler. When little ones push oneof the five plastic balls through the hole at the top of this tower, lights flash and music plays. From there the ball travels down a spiralpath all the way to the bottom--unless your toddler chooses to redirectit with the dial on the side of the ramp. Some babies will simply enjoywatching the ball swirl down the ramp. But as babies get a bitolder, they will also be able to observe and anticipate the actionof the balls and realize that their actions have an effect onwhere the balls go. How cool is that? For a toddler, very cool! Onedrawback to this toy is that it probably isn't sturdy enough or heavyenough for babies or toddlers to use it to pull themselves from asitting to a standing position, though the "Pull-up" portion of thename implies that's possible. There's plenty more to do with this toy,so that is only a minor consideration. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My daughter's Favorite of all time
I bought this for my daughter when she was 8 months old and she showed no interest in it at all. When she was 9 months she loved to pull herself up and hit the button to hear the music. When she was 10 months old she loved to stand by it and push the balls in, Now at 11 months it is one of the few toys she plays with for more than 10 min. She chases the balls around and even has figured out the knob on the side that changes the directions. She dances to the music and looks for the balls to come out. KEEPS HER ATTENTION! The only thing was it did tip over when she first started using it and she would hit her head on the floor but a toy I almost took back has been one of the best toys yet. She has learned how to use her hand eye cordination and she has learned to stand and dance. I would recommend it to anyone but keep and eye on the smaller children and hold the base down so they don't get hurt;)

Its ok
My son got this for christmas last year and He plays with it about every other day. I think its a cute toy but not a must have, there are better toys out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have your child will love!!
I bought this product when my child was 7 mths. old and she learned very quickly to pull up on it, it is very sturdy. She is now 9 mths. old and is always playing with it and she weighs 20 lbs. and it holds her up just fine it has never tipped over with her. This was a very good investment. Putting it together was a little complicated but as far as that I would recommend it. Your child will absolutely love it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE ORIGINAL BALL BLAST
wHERE CAN i FIND THE BALL BLAST WITH THE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE, THAT THE BALL GOES THRU. i BOUGHT THE OTHER ONE AND WAS VERY DISSAPPOINTED???

5-0 out of 5 stars Truly a "must have"
My son was only 6 months old when he received this the "ball blast," it was a Christmas gift for him from friends of ours. My husband put it together and we left it out in the living. Our son when right over to it and quickly learned he could pull himself up by using the toy for support, he was walking by 9 months. My husband and I believe it was because of this toy.
Our son loves playing with the balls on their own AND together with the "blaster", he even tries to put other toys (blocks) down the shoots. My son is now 13 months old and he STILL plays with the Ball Blast everyday, he LOVES it! In our opinion, EVERY child should have one of these. This toy has now become our new gift of choice for our friends and family. ... Read more

Young children have a seemingly infinite capacity for exploration, investigating everything thoroughly and relentlessly as they try to learn about their world. While this Fisher-Price set is not likely to fully satisfy that curiosity, nothing ever will, it is likely to keep young kids quite busy and occupied. Eight blocks are included in the set, the clear cubes found in many modern Fisher-Price sets, and they are the key ingredients in the five interactive sides of the cube. There are options to stack the cubes up on a rack and then release them to tumble down with a turn of a lever, put them though holes to initiate perky sounds and flashing lights, and plenty of other fun games that should delight toddlers. Inside the block is room for up to 30 Fisher-Price blocks. There is some cause and effect teaching going on here but, as with all good educational toys, toddlers are not likely to think much about the learning; theyre too busy having fun. --Charlie Williams ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for kids of all ages
We bought two of these for my nephews who are both around 1 year old. My almost two year old daughter fell in love with the puppy so we ended up giving her one and going back to the store for another. She loves the puppy and unlike some "interactive" toys we have bought, it doesn't require adult strength to activate the different songs she can easily play all the songs by herself which is her goal with everything at her age.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow! Great toy!
We just bought this for my daughter's birthday. She is turning one in December. She played with it the entire time we were in the store. Then when we came home she continued to play with it, so I had to give in and opened it up early. She loves it. It really great because the buttons are easy for her to push, unlike many of her other stuffed animals that sing. She really gets into the music and dances her little heart out. I am so pleased with it. It also speaks and sings clearly so she can understand the words. The only bad part is that is seems a bit loud at times, but a small price to pay when it makes her so happy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
I bought this for my one-year old tomorrow grandson and he loves it! It's much more stable for him than his other stand up walker, and he is able to get over the threshold dividers between rooms, which he couldn't do with his other walker. He has no problem scooping up the blocks on my hardwood floors - - just have to push further. He also thinks it's funny when he scoops up a cat toy instead of a block. Highly recommend this item, great value!

5-0 out of 5 stars My son's favorite toy
We bought the hippo for our son when he was 6 months old. He is now a year and he still loves it. He pushes it all over the place. When he was first learning to stand/walk, this helped him. He was so proud of himself because he could walk with it's help. I am going to buy this for all of my friend's babies! Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars OK....but better if picked up blocks
My son received this for his 1st Birthday...he liked the blocks more than the Hippo. It doesn't pick up the blocks on the wood floor. My 4 yr old tried it on the carpet...and he was only able to get it to pick up 1 block. It is OK, but after seeing it's lack of performance...I wouldn't buy it. The Wagon in this series is much more fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
We just bought this for our son who will turn 9 months in just two days. He has been cruising the furniture for a few weeks already and as soon as I brought this out, he was taking his first steps forward (w/the help of the hippo) within five minutes. It was so cute to see him take those first awkward steps forward! :-> Also, I have to agree w/what another reviewer said about Fisher-Price making the best quality toys. In my younger days, I worked for a couple years in a toy store and the one thing I vowed after working there is that I would always buy Fisher-Price toys for my kids because the quality is so much better. We almost never got returns on Fisher-Price toys, but some of the return rates on other brands are as high as 75%! And, all the recall notices we would get for other brands are also scary! Really scary because most of the parents who buy those toys never realize there was a recall. Not saying that Fisher-Price is perfect, but they certainly are at another level when it comes to safety and quality. Now that we have a son, almost all his toys are Fisher-Price or LeapFrog and we have not had any problems w/those brands.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great toy!
My son received this for his first birthday and loves it. My three year old also loves it and they fight over this a lot. It is very sturdy to push for beginner walkers and also fun to ride on. The only negative to this toy is that it doesn't pick up blocks very well on hard surfaces. It is best used on carpet for that reason but it is still fun without picking up the blocks. ... A Big Hit in the Tub!
My daughter loves this bath toy. She loves Sesame Street, and this is just perfect. We ask her where each character is, and she picks them up and shows us. What's great about it is that the toys don't have holes in the bottom of them, so no water gets in them. She is also fascinated by the palm tree and the water that showers out of it. I use the palm tree to wet her hair down to wash it. Definetly a great bath toy!

Great fun in the tub!
My son, wo loves Sesame Street, has this toy and loves it. He gets so excited to take a bath with Elmo and the gang. He even hates getting out of the tub. I used the flotable toys in the pool, which he got a kick out of and only added to his creativity.

It's a great bathtime toy!

Hours of bathtime fun!!
My son got this for his first birthday and we've had fun playing with it every bath since! He loves to put Elmo and Telly and Ernie on the edge of the tub and make them dive! It's a durable bath toy...doesn't get all coroded like some others. I would highly recommend!

Fun for the Sesame Street Fan
I recently bought this toy for my 19 month old daughter who I was having trouble getting into the tub. As a huge Elmo fan, I must admit, I had great success after putting this in the tub with her! She loves to pour water into the spinning palm tree, kisses Elmo endlessly and just overall loves this toy. I inspected each figurine prior to putting it into the tub for fear of cracks in the seams which could lead to mold issues, as stated by other parents but fortunately there were none. Overall a cute toy.

Great toy!
My son has had this toy for over a year now, and he still loves to play with it in the tub. It's durable, and fun. Haven't had any mold problems with it. ... Read more

This colorful car collection develops motor skills and hand-eye coordination while your child makes important discoveries about sorting and strategy. There are four vehicles, numbered 1 through 4, of graduatedsizes: a rattling green sports car, a blue police car with a revolving roof light, a yellow school bus with an opening sunroof, and a red fire truck with an adjustable clicking ladder. The vehicles can be rolledacross the floor, and then stacked--ever so carefully--atop each other, and finally all nested inside the fire truck. Vehicles only nest or stack completely when arranged in proper order of size and number. Made of sturdy plastic, these toys can be dipped in warm sudsy water for easy cleaning. --Kathryn Gustafson ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars A neat, fun, little set of cars.
This was one of the first presents my son recieved after his arrival. Since then, they've been off and on hits with him. It has only been in the last few months however, (from about 15 - 18 mos.), that he's really spent much time with them. He enjoys stacking them up more than nesting them together, I think because he likes to knock them down once they're stacked up. Sometimes he can get a little frustrated by them since they aren't exactly easy to stack for a toddler even. With a little guidance and help though, he enjoys playing with them most of the time.

I think that they lose some appeal for him, as they're not as realistic looking as other toy cars. My son gets a lot of enjoyment out of pointing out real cars and trucks, and other toy cars he has that are more realistic looking get more of his attention.

I think what he most enjoys about the cars themselves are that each one has a different little feature that makes noise or does some action, or both. For example, the fire engine has a ladder on top of it that ratchets up and down, making a clicking noise in the process, and this is one of my sons favorite things about this toy.

Your child's mileage may vary, of course, but overall these little cars are well designed, educational, and enjoyable toys.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 6 month old loves his cars!
This is a wonderful toy that is fun, educational, and affordable! The cars are different colors, and each has a different number, 1 - 4, to help a child learn counting and colors. They also stack on top of each other and nest inside of each other.(The nesting feature is great for storage too). Each car has a neat fun feature for little ones to explore (e.g., the small car is also a rattle, the large fire truck's ladder moves, etc.) The cars are also very sturdy (as has been proven by my son repeatedly banging them together,) and they are easy for little hands to grab onto. At 6 months of age, my son really enjoys looking at the toys, passing them from one hand to the other, banging them together, and, of course, putting them in his mouth. I imagine this toy will remain one of my son's favorites as he learns to stack them and roll them on the floor. I would highly recommend this item.

Very nice toy!
These are such nice cars to teach little ones numbers and the stacking value. Ours have been scooted across the floor, cat's tail, into walls, you name it and they've always come back for more. It's just a nice change from the nesting blocks and it's fun to hear all the vehicle sounds that children make with these guys. I'd buy them again for sure!

Great toy
I bought these for my nephew when he was 6 months old, he is now 2 and still uses them everyday. Since they stack, they are easy for my sister to cart around in her bag to restuarants, doctors, etc. They still look brand new. A must for any infant/toddler who loves cars and trucks!

Great Toy for Younger Children
My son got these when he was 6 months old and has loved them since. He'll play with these everyday and for a while at a time. There aren't many toys out there that can hold his interest for more than a few minutes, but these can. ... Read more

Get ready to learn shapes, colors, numbers, letters, face parts, animal sounds, and more with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and the rest of the Sesame Street gang! This Sing & Teach Table features tons of buttons and other interactive gadgets that prompt fun lessons for babies and toddlers, all in the wacky, weird voices of the Muppets. (Presumably, tots are familiar enough with the characters to understand all the squeals and growls.) The semi-circular shaped plastic table stands 12 inches high, not counting the waggling Elmo head that presides over the action. Children sit or stand at the table, lifting the Cookie Monster head to learn about "open" and "closed," spinning a drum for the alphabet song, or picking up a cell phone to hear The Count soliloquize about numbers. Babies will get a real physical and mental workout with this play gym. It's pretty much like all of the other models out there, but its stand-out is its versatility and diversity of features for infants at all stages. A kicking gym for infants is made of attractive objects than spin, light up, and make sounds with each tiny foot-fall. A Ferris wheel loaded with colorful balls spins overhead to create additional interest. Babies who can sit up can spin the Ferris wheel themselves, and watch it release the five balls down a tunneled ramp and out the side of the gym. This in turn sets off music and lights as the balls zip past noisy, spinning obstacles. It's not just fun and games, though: the activities are designed to develop motor skills, cognitive learning, and stimulation of the senses.Diane Beall ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good toy!
I just bought this toy 3 days ago. It wasn't very hard to assemble! I had no problem, and I'm a women. LOL! And once it was up, I put my 3 month old daughter under it. And she loved it, she started to kick her legs and arms everywhere. She can't reach the toys, but she has figured that she can kick those toys with her feet and get them moving too. THis toy I bought works great, no problems what so ever. Yes the music is annoying, and the toy does go back when she kicks, but I push it right back towards her. I don't leave her alone, and I don't leave her there for a long time either. 5 to 10 min. the most. This toy isn't a replacement for me. I bought it to stimulate her for a little while. So she can see something new. I'm sure once she's able to sit up, she'll enjoy this toy even more. Just try it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Good but not great
I just bought this toy for my 3 1/2 month old and she does like it. She will play on it for as long as I would expect of a 3 month old. SHe loves kicking the hanging toys. I do not like the first setting-the one you are supposed to use when kicking. The music goes on and on and on...and I don't think it allows the baby to understand that its his or her thats setting it off. I keep it on the second setting, where the music goes off for maybe 10-15 seconds. Its less annoying and she has more fun with it. She gets really excited when there is no music/lights and kicks more in order to get it to play.
I do recommend this toy, especially if your baby is a kicker! But I understadn the complaints about the music. Just use the second setting and it works great

4-0 out of 5 stars We Like It!
My 7 year old bought this for his new sister (2 1/2) months old) My newborn loves it and my older son loves to play along side. It's colorful lights and fun music keep them both entertained. Most newborns attention spans are short and they get tired of almost ANYTHING after about 20-30 minutes. This is a great first toy for baby, especially if you put them in a bouncer in front of it so that they can kick start by hitting the lower toys with their feet!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Buy!!
I have a two month old son and he loves this toy. He will lay down and watch it for close to 30 minutes! At first he wasn't very interested, but I think that is because he couldn't see very well as is true for all newborns. The music is different, but we have gotten used to it and our son seems to like it. It is bright and colorful which I am sure makes it fun to look at. I am thankful we got this as a gift!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good toy
I bought this looking for a toy that would keep my son's attention. He's 1 month old and this toy works like a charm. Its easy for him to kick start it. The lights and music make his eyes light up. Basically, he loves it. It keeps him busy while he's awake and bored, which is his most difficult time.

Negative - On/Off switch is the middle setting, I can never turn it off on the first try. Usually attempted one-handed with baby in other hand.

Negative - Alot of screws to screw in.

Other than those, I recommend this toy. ... Read more
