Lego has come a long way...
WOW. I remember when I first bought the Bionicles two years ago and how "amazing" they were then. Now I've bought this one and the old classics seems like junk. These Toa-Metru can bend their knees, twist their heads and you have the option of one, two or neither of their arms moving!
The Bionicle saga has brought us back in time when the wise, old villagers (Turaga) are now toa. Nokama, Toa-Metru of Water, was my first Toa-Metru and it remains my favorite. Unlike the first edition of Nokama, the wise villager, this Nokama is bigger, better and all around...COOLER! My favorite part is Nokama's mask. It, to me, looks like a giant bubble. There are (what look like) scales on her forhead and gills on each side. She carrys two fin-like weapons that pull her at great speeds through her town, Ga-Metru. The Toa have become so much more than just a play-toy. This new look makes you wonder what LEGO BIONICLE has in store for the future...

Uhh, a little off the edges
Not the greatest bionicle, its not nearly as good as the originals. I wouldn't buy it if I were you unless you were combinding pieces.

Nokama Rocks!
Nokama, The Gaurdein of Ga-Metru, is sleek, fast, and inteligent. Her twin hyro blades allow her to swim through the proto canals with super speed. Her mask is the Rau, the great mask of translation, letting her read forgoten words and letters. She is so cool, and the body is cooler than the old toa. Now Go and buy this cool toa! ... Read more

The LEGO Knights Kingdom line manages to combine the ever-popular world of knights in shining armor, monstrous dragons, and wizened wizards with the increasingly popular genre of collectible card games. This set of 47 pieces also sports three game cards to appeal to both construction toy and card game fans. The pieces can be used to construct Santis, a knight who is modeled after a bear in many different respects. He certainly looks ursine with his big thick beard and burly build and he sports the image of a big snarling bear on his red and gray shield. Santis also wields a silver sword, which is sure to protect him in case he runs up against any actual bears. Its all LEGO , of course, so even if you get tired of building the same knight over and over, you can combine the bricks to build nearly anything else you can imagine. --Charlie Williams ... EDITORIAL REVIEW

In this sprawling, imposing, and yet somewhat whimsical set from LEGO’s Alpha Team line, the nefarious Ogel is working on a plan to freeze time itself. Obviously, the Alpha Team can’t allow such a thing to happen so team members Dash and Arrow show up to foil the plot, dodging ice orbs along the way. A flying car, a rumbling ATV, and special retractable claws add to the action and the fun. Clear step by step instructions show how to construct the fortress but since these are LEGO bricks, young builders have an infinite amount of options to create whatever configuration catches their imagination. LEGO’s recent fascination with creating storylines for all its toys can occasionally make for a confusing experience but you don’t need to know who Ogel is or what he’s up to in order to enjoy this set. --Charlie Williams ... Very cool robotic vehicle!
The Lego Alpha Team series is essentially "James Bond", or perhaps "Mission: Impossible".Ogel is an evil "Bond villain" character who is trying to take over the world.He has numerous skeleton minions who do his bidding as he builds and operates high-tech gadgets to aid him in his bid for global domination.Alpha Team is a team of top secret agents who use high-tech gadgets and cool vehicles as they track down Ogel and try to stop him.

During their first outing, Alpha Team stopped Ogel from using mind control orbs to take over the world.Their second outing took them underwater in "Mission: Deep Sea".Their third outing appears to take place in the Arctic, where Ogel is using ice orbs in an attempt to freeze the entire world...or something like that.As far as the plot and story go, there's plenty of room for creativity here.Just use your imagination and make stuff up.

The Scorpion Orb Launcher is an impressive addition to Ogel's arsenal.Until now, he hasn't had all that much to work with compared to what his opponents have.Well, that has changed.This awesome robotic vehicle is almost fully posable.Movable legs, fore-claws, tail, and head.The tip of the scorpion's tail can hold an ice orb and launch it into the air to smack down the Alpha Team agent on a hang glider (who is included).The body of the vehicle is a storage bay for ice orbs with an opening canopy.The head of the scorpion is a cockpit for one of Ogel's skeleton minions.I really like how the head was created, with bubbly side windows that open outward in addition to the roof that opens upward.

The head can move up, down, and it can tilt left and right as well.The forearms are constructed from Technic Bionicle parts (dark red Toa leg pieces) on ball joints, allowing for super posability of forearms and claws.The scorpion's six legs are also constructed from Bionicle parts (black Toa arm pieces) on ball joints.His tail has click-joints for good posability.This is a great robotic scorpion action figure, and he's got good durability to boot.Solid design.Colors are primarily dark red and black, with a bit of dark gray.While this may sound dull, I found the color scheme to be perfect for Ogel's menacing robotic creature.

In addition, the Scorpion Orb Launcher can transform into a large viper with arms (no disassembly required).Just make a few adjustments for the transformation.This set comes with one of Ogel's skeleton minions (he has a unique gray head), an Alpha Team agent, a small hang glider, and two ice orbs.

This is an attractive Lego set that's fun to play around with.I like it a lot.My verdict:thumbs way up!A very cool addition to the Alpha Team arctic series, and just what our "bad guy" needs to make life a little difficult for the good guys. ... Read more

A Lego Toy that is Fun, just for GIRLS!!
This clikits product is very fun. This toy is fun, but I gave it 4 stars because I could only make two things out of it and I don't want to take it apart!! 2. I gave it 3 stars for educational value because, it's a toy but not for education but it has creativity in it and kids can learn to put things together in there creative ways. But it might be hard to put the things together but in a while you'll find out how to get it through. So it is fun and you can decorate your room with the Clikits Girls' products, Daisy, Heart, and Star. ... Read more

Bordakh- A great or not so great set
With the Vahki Lego tried to do to much the duel pose is cool yet looks silly in some ways. Also the Kanoka Disk Launcher in the mouth is way to random and still dosen't work well. This set has alot bigger parts which is very nice but make it harderto pose. This is still a very nice set and I recemend to buy it or any of the Vahki.

Tormentor of Ga-Metru Matorans
This bionicle is great! The toy, even fom the cover, gives a menacing look and the figure itself is awsome especially for a boy. It's got two hook-like extremities protruding from the mouth that look like fangs. Bordahk holds two water razors that are easy to pose in cool positions unlike previous Bionicle sets. According to Bionicle, the Bordahk can possess Ga-metru matoran to do whatever they need. An Excellent assesst to any collectors set. ... Read more
