Security concerns
I went to buy this for my 22 yr old son. However, the twin matress does not fit securely in the car. They are 6-12 inch gaps between the mattress and the side of the car on all sides, plenty or room for my son's arm, leg or face to get stuck in! Sure I could probably rig something up, but for this amt of money I shouldn't have to, nor am I going to!

Custom Sports Car
I love that the tires mount to the bed and the fact that they say "Made In The USA" on them. These beds are just too cool, and a quality product. My Grandkids love them and I know that they will out last anything else we might have bought them. We bought 1/2 inch particle board sheets and had the hardware store cut them to the same size as a twin bed mattress, they didn't charge anything to cut it to size. We laid the particle board over the slats in the bed so we didn't have to buy a box spring. I think we saved about $100 doing it that way. It allowed the mattress to recess down into the bed just a little to protect them some if, (and when), they jump on the bed. These are keepsake beds and I doubt that they will ever sell them, or give them away. They just love them too much.

King of the house!
We bought this bed for my 27 month old son. The first time he saw it his eyes were like saucers. First he tried to turn the wheels, then it took him 4 tries to hop over the side, but once he got into the bed we couldn't get him out. He was like the king of the mountain! He loves sliding down the hood in the morning to get out of it and now climbs into it the same way. His smile was worth every penny spent.

Want to get your toddler out of your bed?
Then buy them a Little Tikes Race Car Bed! It appeared to my husband and I that our toddler would never outgrow trying to get into bed with us at night. Until we purchased the race car bed. Now he sleeps soundly every night and loves it!! It so comfy and cozy! Every time before he gets into it he comments on what a nice bed it is. During the day he pretends he is a race car driver, a policeman and takes his stuffed animals for rides! This truly was the answer to some lost sleep for everyone! Thank You Little Tikes!!

Little Tikes Twin Race Car Bed
We got this bed for my son when he was 22 months old. We were moving and bought this for his new room. The excitement of his new bed made the move a happy time for him too. He is now turning 8 and refuses to turn the bed over to his little brother so I guess we need to look into another one! We started out with the mattress and bunkie board on the lowest level so he couldn't roll out, then moved it up to the next level when he was older. The toy box in the front holds alot and the headboard gave him a place to go with stuffed animals and other stuff. Sawzilla!!
A friend back in Maryland introduced me to Little Tikes tools in '83, and I've wanted one of their circular saws for years. I've owned Mattell (lucky sale price), but this is the saw I always wanted. Finally settled in here and my wife made this a late Christmas present. I was just floored when it showed up. Best present I've ever received =)

I read the manual fully and unpacked the saw slowly. No damage in shipping to the saw carton or pallet. The box had been dropped (it's heavy) and the moulded packing foam was broken, but the casing and blade were pristine. Gentle wipe down to remove the cosmoline and an initial inspection revealed no damaged or missing parts. Followed the assembly procedure in the manual - a breeze.

After setting up the saw, installing a Freud 40 tooth and running a 240v drop for it, we fired this mean green machine up - she purred to life - no whines, grinds, chatters or bangs. We got bold and balanced a penny and a nickel on edge and fired her back up - they barely twitched. I ran her through some wood I had on hand - a little MDF, a little Doug Fir, A scrap of Wallynut, chunk of Oak - zip zip zip cut cut cut zing zing zing - only there was no Ziiiiinnnnggggg! It was Q-U-I-E-T - it just hummed! I could speak in normal tones and I could hear my wife (who is very soft spoken) over the saw! Aaaaa-Maaaaa-Zing! I was used to the noisy whine of the Mattell I'd owned. So was my wife - this was a truly pleasant surprise. My neighbors won't mind this saw =) To be fair - I will blame the saw AND the blade (Nice blade at about a dollar a tooth).

The Little Tikes cuts through everything easily. The motor is three horses and meets my needs. There were no tweaks required. It is satisfyingly solid. The blade & mitre stay set (again the stops were dead on), the action is smooth. It's not a fancy Mitre, mind you - but it is Functional - and that counts.

Little Tikes will not disappoint you - I know this ain't no big fancy-schmancy sliding doo-dad cabinet table-saw beastie costing thousands - but it gets the job done very nicely, very quietly. Any tool one's spouse is PLEASED to have purchased has a lot going for it.

Did I mention I love this saw?

Cute, but noisey.
This is a nice toy except the sound it makes can drive you crazy after about 5 minutes. Thank goodness it has a on/off switch or I'd have to hide it from my 10 month old. The "blade" part spins nicely, there's a lever that cranks back and forth, and lights flash with silly sounds when it's turned on. There are numbers on it, but I don't see that helping my son learn anything. It seems pretty durable enough, considering my son has dropped from his highchair a few times. My son has no idea what a saw is, so he just chews on it at this point. Sometimes he'll roll it across the floor. Maybe when he's older, he'll have more fun with it. So, to sum it up, it's an cute toy if you can handle the crazy noises it makes.

Grandparent's revenge
My son's grandparents gave him this horribly NOISY thing! It creates the same LONG annoying "chainsaw" noises continuously. It's highly motion sensitive and the worst thing is there is no volume control! His grandparents just laugh and say it's their revenge for all my noisy toys. My Lil'One Enjoys Very much
I Bought this for my son at 7 1/2 months for the swing, I had to make a set cover due to the slippery set(But bath tub stickers you stick on the floor of the tub for grip work too). And he enjoyed crawling under the slide. Now he's 9 months and figured how to climb the back, and like any toy supervision is a absolute most. This toy has won the heart of my son, but I've seen a lot of disappointed buyers say it was too small or to hard to climb and the swing was limited. This is no swing set, of course the swing is limited, if not it would tip over and it's attended for little ones that shouldn't be swung high anyway! Well, my son is 24lb and 33inchs and thats big for 9 months, but he has no problems working this toy and has pently of room to grown into this toy! My Nephew and niece is 2 and 4 and they are average size for their age they enjoy and have no problems playing with this ether.

Too quickly outgrown for the price!
We bought this for our 15 month old son. He loved the telescope, but needed someone to help him climb up to the platform. The swing is way too small, little movement, and so low to the ground that his feet dragged the ground by the time he was 18 months old. I think we should have spent the money (and a lot less of it) on a toddler swing that we could hang from a tree and a seperate slide that has real steps. The picture makes this look alot bigger than it is. Also, it's very light, which makes it feel like it could tip over easily. I talked our friends out of buying one for their two year old.

bought this for my one year old granddaughter.. she loved it from first time on it.. able to climb slide and look out telesscope.. she was laughing as she was swinging.

do your homework--this toy is misunderstood
Our two year old weighs about 25 pounds and is about 36 inches tall. This toy was perfect for him. He loves every aspect of it. Most children are afraid at first to go down the big playground slides because they are too long. For a toddler this length is great because it is in a way a "training" slide. It prepares the child for the longer slide but still gives them the thrill of going down a slide plus it gives them confidence and ownership of their abilities. Right now our son wants indepence more than anything and this toy gives him the chance to be independent and we don't have to hold his hand to do that. With the swing his feet don't quite touch the ground but they are close enough that he can get out of the swing himself and he likes that. We went to the store before we purchased this to see one set up and we were quite pleased with the product. But just the picture on the web site and some of the reviews didn't properly represent what the toy is. He would have missed a lot of fun if we just went by the reviews on this web site and the pictures.

Going to buy it today
A child in my son's playgroup has this and the kids all love it. They are all around 10-11 months old (and all various sizes and shapes) and only one of them is actually walking, but all of them enjoy it! They have learned to climb the rock wall and hold unto to the wheel at the top. Only one can slide down on his own, but the rest are working on it. Don't waste your money
My 2 year old son loves fish, bubbles and baths so I assumed he would love this toy.He is afraid of it because it is too loud and it barely makes any bubbles.Don't waste your money on it!

Scared my son
This toy is really loud - enough that it actually scared my 16 month old son.He refused to go near it and started clinging to me.Plus, it barely generates any bubbles.

Bubblemaker stops working after using one time.
Purchased this product hoping to have lots of bubble fun in the tub.I was wrong.The first time we used it it worked great.Turned it off and went to turn it on again and it stopped working.Returned to the store for another one and the next one did the same thing.I also found that it was a bit to loud for such a small toy.I also found that it didn't make much for bubbles.What a wasit of money and my time having to return it twice. ... This toy is tops!
My son recieved it for his 2nd birthday and a year later still loves it. We keep it as an outside toy where he can dig and load dirt with it. Its nice and chunky for little hands and has a handle you push to make the loading part lift up. I imagine this toy will last forever.

Loads of Fun
My two boys(5 and 6) have both the loader and dump truck and they have put about 1,000 miles on tires and they keep going. They enjoy playing in the dirt with these toys.. They are kept outside and have lasted along time(3 yrs).. Even when left out in the rain, they have kept together with no problems.

Little tikes diggers and trucks
I am a grandmother of a little boy and little twin girls, all 3 years old, and a Little 2 year old girl. All have fun digging in the sand or dirt with the Loader and Dump truck. I own almost all of Little Tikes Cars, Trucks, and "Diggers" and they provide hours of fun, are safe, and last forever. I have found that both boys and girls love digging and driving. It has given me much pleasure to watch them play.

Sturdy and Tough
With two sons, it became apparent that just one wheel loader wasn't enough. Now we own two, and everyone is happy.

However both boys had trouble initially with the dumping-out mechanism. A small notch on the back of the bucket keeps it in place while the child scoops. To dump, one must lift up and release the notched back to dump. Many whines and tears of frustration followed a successful scoop before the boys could maneuver the bucket's notch alone.

Don't let this discourage you from buying, just be aware of the necessity of helping out.

A great addition to your sandpit
Little Tikes have made a great, easy to use, durable loader. My daughters (yes girls!)love playing with it in their sandpit. They are only 11 months and 2.5 years so the chunky handle and size of the loader makes it really easy for them to use. Fantastic for the price. ... Read more

love it!
I absolutely love this product. I purchased it last week for my 2 year old twin boys. I've taken them bike riding every night since! The product is sturdy and comfortable and pulls along effortlessly. I do not find a problem with lumps in the tires as some of your other reviewers claim, however, I did take the advice in the directions, and did not over inflate them. I love it as a bike trailer, but must admit, I have not used it as a jogging stroller yet, so I can't comment on that.

What were they thinking?
We have eleven month old twins and a 8 and a 7 year old. Always love to ride bikes as a family. Bought this item because of price and product description. Husband loves to jog with older kids. Wanted something which would serve both activities. Big Mistake. Trailer is a nightmare to hook-up to bike. Connection is not secure. Rear wheels do not move to go around corners. Had to ride in the street in order to make a wide turn. Not safe. Directions were very difficult to understand for assembly. Bike pedals were always scraping against the connection. I was not very comfortable with my children in the trailer. I was always afraid the trailer would tip over. Returned item to the store and exchanged for a better item. Had store assemble new item and demonstrate connection. We now have a Burley Trailer and we love it. More expensive but more durable and safe. With the first trailer, we got what we paid for. I wonder if the manufacturer even tested this trailer to check for problems? What were they thinking?

Fun ... but a pain!
Our daughter loves her Cozy Cruiser, which we use as a trailer but not as a jogging stroller ... fortunately, however, she wasn't around for the two hours it took her pitiful parents to put this thing together! The instructions are solely picture-based and are extremely vague - we had some pieces in and out 4 or more times. The mechanism which connects the trailer to the bike is poorly designed - you could easily use three people just to attach the bike to the trailer - one to support the bike, one to support the trailer bar and one to hook the connector to the bike - but usually there's only one parent available during the day so you have to fumble around trying to attach it. We're also a little concerned with the durability of the connection. Obviously the designers thought you'd only hook it up once, then leave it in your garage ... well, we live in a townhouse with no garage and a small patio so the bike & trailer have to come inside every night and be disconnected ... not too convenient. Once assembled, though, a great product which allows parent and child a lot of fun and freedom.

Great product that adds to your workout!
This is a really great product. It's extremly durable, like most Little Tykes products. Using it as a trailer was easy. It's easy to switch from trailer to stroller. Folded it does not take up much space. The only problem I found with it is the way it handles as a stroller. As long as you are going straight there's not much effort in pushing it. Taking turns is a bit difficult.

My 1st jogger stroller
I bought this jogger about 1 1/2 years ago. I have two children 11 months apart and I wanted something that didn't cost a lot that I could run/walk with and pull with my bike if I wanted. It is hard to run with since it does pull to the left. Ane yes, you do have to pop a wheelie when going around turns, but I just figured I'd build up muscles that way. My kids love the stroller and now they are 3 and 4 years old and just starting to outgrow it a little. The tires don't inflate well and there are big lumps in each one when fully inflated so the stroller doesn't roll smoothly. It takes a lot of time to put together. It is very sturdy but not compact. Unless you have a huge trunk in your car or a van or something like that, then it is pretty much impossible to take with you. I was not very happy with the trailer attachment. It didn't clamp down well on the bike so it came lose and was a pain to pull. It would slide down and as my pedal came up it would hit the attachment. I only pulled it 2 times. Great quality & fun for my two little chefs!
My daughter received this dish set for Christmas and has played with it daily since then - going on 6 months! I read the other reviews and haven't experienced any parts coming off or dissatisfaction with it not coming with food - my kiddos like to pretend and make up what they've created. My 4 and 2 year old love this set and since there are several pans and lids there is more than enough for them to share.

Don't buy, little ones can choke.
This is a wonderful concept, and I love Little Tikes toys, but there are small pieces on the pot handles that can come off. They are small enough for a little one to choke on. They come off easily too. My son was banging 2 pots together and the 2 pieces of one handle flew off. I was able to pry off others with a fingernail alone.

Love the dishes
This dish set was purchased solely to coordinate with the Cookin' Fun Kitchen set Santa brought my 3 year old son. The kitchen set doesn't come with plates or silverware, so this was a logical add-on. A nice feature is that the salt and pepper shakers have some type of beads in them so they make a noise when my son shakes them.

I would have liked more than 2 place settings so that we could practice setting a table for a few people, but this is my hang-up...not his.

I am sure you can find better values out there as this set does not include play food or too many place settings. But because the dish set coordinates with his "non-pink" kitchen and posseses typical Little Tikes durability, I am satisfied.

Lovely pastel colored cooking set
I just purchased this today for my 16 month old son as he always seemed to be playing with our cooking pots and pans. I liked the pastel colors on this one - green, yellow, pink, blue. Very gender neutral. The only thing is it doesnt come with make believe food so you have to provide your own. A Super Starter Sandbox
Most of my friends own this sandbox, so I'm very familiar with its advantages and disadvantages. As sandboxes go, Little Tykes are the best because they hold up well through much use and outside weather. The turtle sandbox is a nice starter sandbox for any toddler. It does a good job of keeping the rain out and the domed lid allows room for the toys to stay inside.

I would mention though that they also make a little bit larger and nicer version of this sandbox that is shaped like a dinosaur. The dinosaur version holds twice as much sand and the dinosaur's feet serve as handy little stools for the kids or adults to sit on. The larger version fits three to four toddlers nicely while the turtle only has room for two at most.

When we purchased a sandbox, we chose the dinosaur for those reasons, and I mention this as just something to consider when researching sandboxes. Either one may be the right choice for you depending upon your budget and preferences. Both sandboxes are great--you can't lose either way.

A great sandbox for a small area
This sandbox is perfect when you only have a very small yard, or balcony or deck for your children to play (or maybe at a grandparents house for those visits).

Only two toddlers fit in it at once if they want room to play but often my children sit on the outside of it and use it for sandplay rather than sitting in it. They seem to enjoy this just as much as if they were sitting in the sand themselves.

The lid is great to keep the sand clean and keep out the neighbourhood cats! I've found only on really windy days will the lid ever flip off. If we know a storm is coming we often just put a brick or something on top to hold it in place until the storm has past.

The lid is easy for my toddlers to remove on their own and has stood the test of time with kids jumping all over and bein out in the weather.

I like these plastic sandboxes as well as you can easily wash them down and if you are moving house you can simply empty it and take it with you.

A great little sandbox for a family that has a small space or is on the move.

Another Little Tikes Classic
I had this and the Little Tikes cozy Coupe Car as a child and now I am the mother of three small children, we still have the turtle sandbox from when I was a child and the Coupe Car is at Grandma's (I wanted to get each of the babies a car of their own for their first Christmas). Both are in great shape and the babies love them. The sandbox is a small one but they sit around the edge so all three can play together. I am sure we will hold on to all of these items, who knew that the crib was not the only keepsakes and parent to child hand me downs!

Max the Turtle
I use to be a pre-school teacher and the Turtle Sandbox was an excellant part of our family. Out of all the toys my son had, Max the turtle was the most versatile and long lasting. Max was able to go wherever we moved, Out in the country or in town on a balcony of an apartment. Max the turtle lived w/ us from before my son was 1 1/2 years old till he was about 8 years old.
The Turtle Sandbox cover was great because it kept out any unwanted animal critters, we also used it for water play and cornmeal play. I highly reccommend children to have a max the turle! My son is now 18.

It's perfect!
This item is certainly worth the money. My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves it! A friendly girl's voice comments on each item the child removes, and then reminds them to put it back! The mirrors both come with protective coverings, so they are both free of flaws when you are done assembling the vanity. There are extra places for their own items, such as hair holders or brushes. All of the accessories (The lipstick and nail polish) are plastic, so it's all imagination. A perfect toy for your little girl! Easy assembly!

Wonderful Purchase
My husband and I knew we needed to get a vanity for our 2 year old when she wouldn't get off of mine without a struggle. We looked at both this one and the nice, fancy wood ones at furniture stores. This one was a quarter of the price which made up our minds. It is so cute and she loves it. It isn't any more anoying than any of her other talking toys and I love that she now leaves my vanity alone. I set it up right next to mine and she loves to get ready while Mommy does too. My four year old son likes it too, but I think that is only because of it being new.

Great Toy
You have to love Little Tikes toys if you are a parent! They hold up, very durable, and they have good designs that keep children interested! My daughter received this as a 2nd birthday gift from her grandmother. We weren't sure if she was old enough for it; but, she figured it out right away! She is now over 3 years old and still plays with it once a day. She knows exactly how to make all of it work and she loves to sit down and 'put her makeup on' brush her hair and use it for playing dress up. This is a terrific toy and I would highly recommend it!

So much fun!
My 2 yr old recieved this vanity for this past Christmas and has loved every minute of it. It's very easy to assemble, very durable, and easy to wipe clean. when we got ours, it was missing a lipstick and I called little tykes, and they sent a replacemnet right away, free of charge!
The only drawback was that my daughter has ALOT of play jewelry that she wanted on the vanity to dress up and it only has 2 hooks in back and very small shelves that don't hold much, so I bought some small white adhesive cup hooks and stuck on the front in the little cut out areas for her to keep her "pretties" handy. Also got some larger hooks for purses and necklaces on the side..... We love this vanity, it's gives hours of enjoyment!
