Save your money!!
I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. It was broke within two days. Extremely flimsy!!

This toy stinks.
This toy is really flimsy and it stinks.

Not as bad as others say
I just got this and was able to assemble it pretty easily, and everything stayed together. It comes with stands and braces, and even on a carpet it stands up just fine. It has a lot of fun features, and while not durable for rough play, is still fun.

Mine is missing the web-trap trigger though, which is why I rated the fun at 4 stars. I called Toy Biz to ask for a replacement, but they are sold out. They were surprised to hear though that this occurred often (they have a customer service number, CALL IT!) but I am keeping it. It's still a fun toy.

Fun...Well sort of?
I love this toy no matter what they say. It is lots of fun SOMTIMES, not that durible though. It falls over quick. The launching is very hard. I still love this toy, I'll say it's worth...bucks!

Cool looking waste of money
No stars for this awful thing. My kids begged for this and we got it for Christmas. It was falling apart as we put it together. Finally my husband mounted it on wood with glue, nails and velcro (crazy that we paid 35.00 and we had to MOUNT it) and it stayed together a little better. It is all posterboard and plasitc chip pieces, if Spiderman tried to slide down the web, the toy would implode. It was pretty much in the trash can by the end of the week. Wish it would have been made better. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars DEADPOOL IS TOP NOTCH!!!
This figure is excellent!!He is difficult to obtain, but well worth the effort.Deadpool comes with lots of great accessories like 2 assault rifles (which are unique to this figure), a pistol and holster, 2 swords, and 2 knives like Elektra's (called "sai", I believe), a harness to carry it all, a scabby-looking, replaceable head (when you don't want him to wear his mask), and a Doop figure with a stand for him to be placed on.His body sculpt is the same as Daredevil's and Silver Surfer's, but that really isn't a problem. It looks good on him and actually adds to the toy's value--it allows him to be very poseable and loads of fun to play with. All the joints are fairly tight except for the wrists, but even those aren't too bad.His hands hold the guns, knives, and swords very well with the help of those little, clear, rubber bands he comes packaged with-BE SURE TO KEEP THEM.As far as disadvantages go, this action figure has none to report.Deadpool also comes with a comic book where he takes on the Hulk.A nice bonus. This figure is an exceptional buy for any Marvel Legends/X-Men fan and is one of the very best characters of Series 6.It's no wonder he's in high demand.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great collector toy!
This is a great, very comic accurate rendition of Deadpoll, the Merc-With-A-Mouth.Very difficult to find as yet, having been packed 1 per case.Even though he is a reused mold, his excellent accessories and pack-in extra character "Doop", plus his rarity, help bring great value.
Note to parents: while these toys are great for young Marvel fanatics, they are not incredibly durable and have small parts.Best for kids at least 7 and up, in my opinion.

4-0 out of 5 stars The ultimate assasin
DeadPool is a great edition to the marvel legends collection although he had less time on the covers of comic book shelves than some of his older counterparts. He is one of the coolest sought out figures with a gruesome extra head and several weapons of arsenal. His articulation is superb. The main problem I have with this figure is that his mold is not unique. I noticed the Marvel Legends Dare Devil shares the same body mold and may in fact effect the future value of this figure. Overall though he is a must have for avid comic collectors. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars It could have been fun
The Spiderman Web Jet could have been a fun toy, if it had worked properly. The spiderman figure didn't fit well in the "cockpit" and it was a pain to close and then would pop open, even without being "ejected". The wing parts fell off often and after one day, both my sons gave up trying to play with it, because it was too frustrating. They still play with the little spiderman figure. All in all, I think the toy was a disappointment, but we have been pleased with the other spiderman toys-Spiderman w/offroad cycle, spider vs venom, etc

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool toy
Spiderman sits in an ejector seat and pops out with the pull of a back jet fin.My savvy 3-yr old loves it but gets frustrated - difficult to eject Spidey unless you hold jet from the edges or underneath (probably more suitable for 4 yrs +).The action figure has moveable arms/legs (which has been favored over the figure that comes with a motorcycle which stays in "crouching" position). My major complaint is that one of the wings/fins falls off easily within 15 mins. of standard boy play (they slide in)- but I guess better to slide off than break off! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Iceman: Good but not perfect
When the UPS man arrived at my door today I was psyched to finally have a Marvel Legends version of my favorite X-Man.At first glance the figure looked great. After cutting it out of the package I did find a few inperfections.

The first came when I tried to put the base together, which is in 3 parts. The first is the Sentinal hand, the second is an ice "shaft" that snaps into the hand. The third is the ice platform on which Iceman stands. The platform snapped onto the shaft after a nice hard push.It didn't seem to fit at first, but once it was on it could be removed and reassembled with no problems. However, the peg on the hand didn't fit into the hole on the bottom of the shaft. This may only be a problem with mine, but it's very frustrating. It barely stays together. As an optimist (one of the last of a dying breed, thank you Generation X) I always find the brighter side of things.Since Marvel Legends are generally used for display and not play, this problem should only occur a few times. It will stay together well enough for display.

The second probem was the difficulty I had actually getting him to pose on his base. It's a very awkward base that really only allows for one type of pose, the pictured on the reverse side of the packaging. However, that particular pose is nearly impossible to accomplish. His hands won't stay in the ice slots provided for them. Also, the actual stance in which he is to stand is also difficult to accomplish.

I give this toy 4 stars, which is pretty generous. My actual grade would be about a 3.25 or thereabouts.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ice Man summons snow storm
I was in my trailer and then I saw a light it was the burning trash can that we to stay warm ha ha I mae a joke I'm richer then all of you I bizzalon dollars which you can find if your heart is pure by the way go Iceman

3-0 out of 5 stars ICEMAN IS COOL, BUT HE COULD'VE BEEN COOLER...
Out of all the figures in the Marvel Legends Series 8, I was most excited about getting this one.Just like back in Series 5, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Colossus.Iceman and Colossus are two of my favorite X-Men.As it turned out, I was the most disappointed in Colossus. The case is the same here with Iceman. It's just like what the reviewer "K Feinstein" said in his review of Ultimate Capt. America. You're excited that ToyBiz finally produces the character you want for Marvel Legends, but you're disappointed when you see their final product.Fans have kind of a love/hate relationship with ToyBiz.I was expecting to see him in the same body sculpt as Mr. Fantastic.Just like it shows him in all the pictures you see.(I've always thought that ToyBiz could crank out a lot of Legends characters using that sculpt.)Well, they didn't do that. They used the same body sculpt as the Black Costumed Spiderman from Spiderman Classics Series 9-which wasn't one of my favorites.(It's not a bad choice, but there are better ones.Like, the Daredevil and Silver Surfer sculpt.)This fact bothers me more than it does my son.He thinks it looks great. The articulation and poseablity are very good. The joints are pretty seamless and well concealed. He has a neat paint job and a very cool display stand. The package says it's wall mountable-which it is-but it looks better standing on a flat surface. The figure also comes with a reprint of X-Men #18 where Iceman has to take on Magneto by himself until his teammates can free themselves from a death trap that Magneto set for them.A great issue for young readers. Some problems that my son came across were that the joints were SO stiff that he broke off Iceman's right arm at the shoulder just trying to get it to bend. The pin holding the arm to the shoulder just popped out so I was able to fix it for him. But, most of the common bending areas seemed too stiff.Secondly, the display stand was hard for my son to assemble. It comes in 3 pieces:the Sentinal hand, the middle chunk of ice, and the top piece of ice where Iceman is placed. The hard part is connecting the Sentinal hand to the middle piece of ice.It doesn't "pop" in so you know that it's connected properly. The surrounding pieces of ice prevent it from going down all the way, too.I helped him and I had to push dang hard on that thing before I felt comfortable that it was in as far as it would go.There isn't anywhere to grab the pieces in a good spot to give you leverage with all the icicles sticking out everywhere.Hopefully, this is unique to our figure because the base is attractive.Unfortunately, he's not very well stocked, so if you do happen to break something beyond repair, it may be hard to find a replacement. All things considered, this is a good action figure and well worth the price you pay for it.But, even my son agrees that they could've made him a little better-and a little more durable--than this and that 3 stars is an appropriate mark.

3-0 out of 5 stars Could've been a lot better.
I think Toybiz dropped the ball on this figure.I respect the economics of re-using old sculpts to make new characters, but Iceman deserved better. It's just a really boring rendition of the character. The base is great, but the figure should've had more detail. At the very least some interchangeable arms with different ice weapons would have been nice.Of all the X-men characters to appear in Marvel Legends so far, this is definitely the worst figure from a quality sculpt standpoint.

5-0 out of 5 stars Iceamn Cometh
iceman Is Finally out! This figure is awesome, The Style of the body is perfectly done with that almost clearness kind of like the old marvel iceman figures. the Posability and the Ice Slide acessory make it a must have I highly recommend this figure ... Read more
