This microcosm of Neopets is a portable world for your pocket. Meridell, the land of heroes and legends that was long hidden within Neopia has now been uncovered and is delightfully rendered here in miniature. The pocket Neopet world folds up into a small gold colored pod that you can take anywhere. Open up the case and you can play with your three Neopets: Lupe, Draik, and Lxi. Name them, choose their personalities and preferences, and then proceed to play with, feed, and generally care for them. The sensors in the electronic ports they sit in know which pet you're playing with. There are six games you can play on the small LCD screen with four toggle buttons--they aren't the most engaging games, but winning them scores you points you'll need to buy food and toys for your pet. If you don't give your pet everything it needs, it will run away. Of course, you can always reprogram it to come back to you. This game is OK...
This game is very cute, but the instructions that come with the it are not clear. The game can become frustrating after a while. It is also a low-tech game and can have some problems.

Awsome toy
This toy is so cool,i couldn't find it in stores so i ordered it online,i have a regular pocket neopet,but this one is cooler.I do not no what those other people are thinking,well duh the graphics are bad,what do u expect for 20 dollars,A flatscreen moniter?I think it works just fine the way the graphics are,and the neopoints aren't hard to get ,it a fun challenge,and that's what teaches you responsibility,so if you don't care about it it will leave you,and if yo have skewl,you can just turn it off,thats a good feature for when you are goin somewhere and you don't want to take it with you,It really makes you think about about the responsibiliy of taking care of a real pet,over all this is a worth it toy if your into neopets.

I bet this will be fun...until your pet runs away.
What i have heard is that the pet runs away and has specific times for everything. That is definitly a con. Some people have school ya know!

Only mediocre.
I am an avid Neopets fan and when I heard they were coming out with merchedise, I was quite pleased.
This product, however, disapointed me. The screen is too smal to do anything with. THe games are fun, yet the graphics are someof the worst I've ever seen. In the ned, I endd up taking the Neopets (A Lupe, Ixi, and Draik) and playing with them without the set. I would recomend a voice activated pet, rather then this game.

I Can't Think of a Humourous Title For This
I was sure this game would be good when my friend, vacationing in America, bought it back for me. Being an avid adult 'Neopets' fan, I begged him to play it with me.

We invited some other Neopets fans we knew to come over and play it with us, and ended up having a five player game.

I chose the Draik, who was near Ultimate Bullseye, because I have gotten a silver Second Place Trophy in it on the website. I luckily was delt a ticket for it, and instantly went to it on my first turn. Now, my review of it:

ULTIMATE BULLSEYE:
Educational Value: 5 (out of 5)
Fun Value: 3.5
Identical to the game on Neopets value: 2.4

This is actually disappointing.. I didn't know how I prusumed it would be done, but I prusumed that it had a foam dart board.

It is actually a catapult where you try to launch it as close to the middle of a Ultimate Bullseye board in the box. The maximum win (VERY hard to get) is only 1000 Neopoints, while the Wheel of Excitement can give out 5000, allowing you to win the game. Buried Treasure can also give out 2000. It's pathetic.

I won't tell you about anymore of the games, because that would be spoiling. But Random Events (I was VERY glad they included these) include:
Pesky Meercas
Each player besides you has to donate 100 Neopoints to the Money Tree.

Sludge Ray
Destroy any random event in front of a player.

Snorkle
Whenever you play a game, you may play two tickets instead of one. If you win, collect double the Neopoints.

This is a really fun game!
When I got this game I thought it was going to be all right, but turns out its a BLAST! My sister and I really like playing it, though the cardboard pieces do tend to crack. But that doesn't stop us, lol. You have to buy this if you like Neopets, or if someone you know does!

It seems like in recent years every toy phenomenon, especially those originating in Japan, has a card game component to go along with it. But while Neopets does continue that trend, at least the characters featured on the cards are a good sight cuter and more pleasant than many of the scowling bad guys found in other popular toy lines. A little too complex for me...
It is pretty complicated, so I play by my own rules. For all you Lupe freaks, you should make a necklace that is a replica of a moon charm and wear it. I am thinking of framing all my Lupe and HoloGraphic cards. If you are in luv with lupes, neomail me at LigerXzero04. (Jeran is the best!!!) Aishas make me choke, lol. I hate cats. If u seem to be a cat hater, *cough* neomail me. I am working on new rules where you can equip your pet with multiple things for example: Equip Jeran's sword as weapon, wooden blocking shield as defence, Jeran's armour as body armour or clothes. And Grundo helmet as something for yer head. (Pretty cool eh?)

Perfect for a starter 2 Neopets TCG

I like Neopets a LOT! (GO JERAN! Hope he didn't die in that plot twist.) So, naturally, I wanted to buy the TCG. So, I did, and I was NOT disappointed. It was fun building my own deck, but I can't play it yet... okay, I'm rambling. And you can do two things with the two decks: give one to a friend or keep them both. So, get this (and the expansions for maximum entertainment)!

Not just another dumb game
Many people have been complaining that the majority of the new, popular card games are all for kids. They have the idea that YuGiOh is a stupid game for losers. They also might think that NEOPETS is not good, only because of the title. Well, for the record, this is one of the best games that Wizards has published since MLB Showdown and Magic the Gathering. Neopets is a game where you get to take your neopets everywhere, at any time and still play with them when you are not online. Its a fun, immersive game that has great, colorful graphics that are cheery for both kids and adults. The game even has a certain educational value just like the other card games out in the market. When kids play card games they get to practice their math skills and their reading skills. It will help basic reading and math skills improve tremendously. This almost guarantees that they will be very smart when they reach their High SchoolYears. For older people, it helps them stop and think, and learn how to use logic to strategize. I assure you people that you will love this game if you just give it a chance. You will not regret buying this game. Don't judge until you buy and play. If it is given a chance, it will become the next big hit in card gaming. Buy it, Enjoy it, and have fun. I hope this review made you meditate. Never criticize until you try. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Neopets line of interactive toys is quite the rage online where kids can create their own custom-built critters to take care of. These smaller figurines aren't nearly as time intensive as their more complex cousins but can be plenty of fun all the same. Included in this set of three Neopets are Grundo, Aisha, and Kacheek. Grundo looks like a frog crossed with a rabbit, Aisha appears to be a catlike animal with noticeable giraffe tendencies, and Kacheek, here painted by the special "cloud paint brush", who seems to be part puppy, part rabbit, and part human toddler. Not too amusing ...
I've passed by these Neopets in the store a lot and I'd play with them in the demo mode but not really amused but when I found one in the clearance section and it was Shoyru the Dragon but Blue with yellow stars on it. I decide what the hey. I might as well see if this thing is as fun as the packaging says it to be. I brought it home and put it in Play mode and it took me less than 10 minutes to get bored of it. The last reviewer was right it does respond to your voice even thought you said a mean word softly it'd act happy and if you say something nice loud it get's angry. It doesn't say the 30 phrases the package says it does. I've only hear repeatedly Cool, Yes, Oh No, and Whistling which I guess is suppose to be his happy thing. Anyways I thought the price I paid for it wasn't worth it so I returned it. But I did find out that the one I had found is a rare Neopets item and I sort of knew that being the other Shoyru on the rack that wasn't clearance due to damaged packaging was orange colored and plain as to this one was blue with yellow stars on it. Anyways it's not too entertaining. I was more entertained by these magnetic lego type toy called Magnetixs by RoseArts. I could play with those all day and never get bored !
If you chose to buy this Neopet it's all up to you. But to me I say go with the Plush Neopet and make your own voices to go with it.

How can you hate those cute eyes?
Mine may not be green (it's purple) but I say it's great! It works well, is fun to talk to, and shows emotion. And for the other reviewer, it's just a toy computer chip designed to react to your voice tone, it's not a super computer that understands different languages! I mean, if you say something (or yell it) harshly, it usally means you're angry. When you speak nicley you're usually being friendly. That's how all the voice-activated Neopets are (including the Myncis). Neopets fan, age 10.

Nothing to scream about
Not to be negative or anything, but this is a review, and I do own this item, so your going to have to face the truth: This thing is nothing to scream about. It's a Mynci, which is an adoptable Neopet from the official site. I guess it's some sort of monkeyish critter.. it reminds me of my Micropet. Does basically the same things, only it's taller. But not exactly big. He walks, and he can hear you. He goes by how nicely you talk to him. You can say in a sweet voice, "Your such a terrible toy. I hate you." and he'll giggle. The Best Toy Neopets Ever Made!!!
This pet is the bomb! It says over 50 phrases, and even answers your yes and no questions. It teaches kids the responsibility of keeping a pet because it has different moods it can go into, just like a real pet. It is so cute! I REALLY reccomend it to anyone who wants a pet that doesn't need food/water, or anyone who just loves Neopets, like me! :-)

Fun for Neopets fans
About a month ago I bought this item along with a scorchio. It does make noise, but It says the same things over and over. And when it says they interact...well...they sort of do. They make noise after one another but If whatever noise it makes is to long, they blend and you can tell that they are not really communictaing. It is very cute and it does roll, make noise, it can be happy or sad, and it can tell whether or not your picking it up. I think it is really cute and my cat enjoys playing with it to. ... Read more

This toy is wonderful! My son is 5 years old and is facinated with his scorchio. We went on a 3 day car trip and I never heard a complaint... he was too busy playing with scorchio. Awesome!
This game looks awesome, and I can't wait till the neopets team comes out with more games. I have always been a fan of neopets, and especially the lupes. (the wolfy like guys on the front with the swords and the black one, the werelupe king.) Ordinarilly, I would give it five stars, but I take one off for not making it on more than one system. This is bad for me, because I'm not allowed to have any form of video game other than computer. But all my friends say when they buy it, they'll let me try.

I Don't think this is a good idea
I'm Louie Mackie, and I'm a great fan of neopets. I know its weird for a boy to like this. Lets get to the point. Neopets is now making a HUGE hit! I don't think its a good idea to make it on ps1. I heard its coming out on PS2. so if it does'nt come out on PS2, then buy this game

Not a good start.
I don't believe this is a good start at all for "Neopets" on the gaming systems. Neopets is a very fun online game, even though it could use a few updates. I don't think a game like this is a good start. I think a game like "Hey You Pikachu!, Animal Crossing, Pokemon Channel, Harvest Moon, Monster Rancher, Digimon" or something else like that would be best, not an adventure game called "The Darkest Faerie" developed by some random developer, it will give Neopets a bad name to new comers. I think a series would be better, "Neopets, Neopets 2, Neopets 3" it would probally be best on just one console. If it's for sony, then Playstation 2>Playstation Portable>Playstation 3, or something like that. If for nintendo, Gamecube>GBA>DS or something else like that. The games shouldn't have every item on neopets since so many are made, but more like a set of furniture and stuff that's more specific, of course every neopets that's out at the time, along with paintbrushes and the such, and then being able to unlock other items, go to all the worlds, battle other neopets, have a house, feed your pet, and all that, in first person view. It would have to be atleast a semi-decent developer, and hopefully published and watched over by neopets. It would be more organized, and more true to the game. The first person view could work sort of like "Magic Pengel" for PS2. You never see the owner, and all you do is just put in your name i guess, perhaps use your username, and then gender or whatever. Or not anything at all. It would be fun if it was a lighthearted, well organized game. Neopets.com, neopets magazine, neopets TCG are all the main neopets stuff now, and an organized game series would be nice too. I hope this game coming out changes soon.

Its pretty kool...
Its pretty fun...its more of a Giga-Pet than anything else...Ummm...it has a couple of features from the website...I would reccomend it for n e 1 who likes Giga-Pet type things...

This thing is great!!
I think this thing is great! I got one 12 hours ago and it is so fun. The games are simple, the layout is great, and the lighting is good. One complaint... The games only give you Neopoints the first three times you play it a day, unless you want to play the slots game. Overall, this product is one of the best toys I've played with. I highly recommend it to all the Neopets fans around. Plus you can take this thing everywhere!

This is a great toy. It uses some of the same basics as the online game such as playing games to earn neopoints and then buyingthings to keep your pet happy. The cames are fun and simple. The games also teach children how to follow directions. Overall, this is a great toy that any Neopet Fan should buy. Hate it!
This was so bootleg! It was really fun to play with, but it burned out 5 minutes after I opened it!

A fun and additive game
These games are really fun. They are ideal if your mom and dad say no after all that begging for a new dog. These games include shops, mini games, and others. The mini games are Poogle Racing, Techno Says, Bag Drop, and Scorchy Slots. Neopets have taken the world by storm and I think you should be 1 of the millions of people to join them.

Suprise and Confusion
I just got this toy, and I must say, I enjoy it. If you have nothing to do it is the perfect excuse to use. It is quite educational as we must take care of the pet. One of the downsides is that there is no off button, however, you can put your neopet to sleep. I wazs very suprised however, to find that My case was blue! Also I cannot figure out how to play "Poogle Raceing"

I love this thing!
I love this toy! I have been playing on neopets for months and months and when I saw that my cousin had a different one of these things, I went and bought this thing. It is so fun! You have to feed it and play with it and play the 4 games to earn NPs (neopoints, sort of like money) to buy it stuff. You get even get a rare item code to use on the site! The only thing I don't like about it is that if you drop it, 85% of the time it will reset itself and you have to start all over again if you don't have a screwdriver with you and pop the batteries back into place in less than a minute. I have done that 4 times! So you have to be careful.

The Funnest Virtual Pet I've Ever Had!
Last Christmas, my Mom and Dad gave me this little electronic pet. I haven't put it down since! You can feed, play with, and generally take care of the little thing, and if you get bored of that you can play with the mini figure in the 3D world (pretty fun- but not in the car. That thing would be so easy to drop between two seats) and you can also play games so you can but better foods and toys, and even little pets! You can also tell it when to fall asleep, and wake it up. If you don't take care of it though, itwill run away. Even though you can't get that pet back again, you can adopt a new one.
