This battery-operated African-American doll has unpredictable behaviors to give little girls a taste of what it's like to care for a real baby. Chou Chou makes realistic movements, such as kicking her legs when happy or when her diaper is being changed and opening and closing her eyes randomly. Her sounds and behaviors are also very convincing and include babbling baby talk when Chou Chou is happy, yawning when Chou Chou is sleepy, a sucking sound when Chou Chou's bottle is placed in her mouth, laughing when her blanket is thrown over the upper part of Chou Chou's body, and crying when Chou Chou is not attended to after one minute. Chou Chou also has molded plastic hands, feet, and head that look realistic and a soft, fabric body so she is still cuddly enough to sleep with. Chou Chou comes with several helpful care-taking accessories, including a pacifier, bottle, security blanket, and a birth certificate authenticating her arrival.
