A disappointment
My son got this for his 4th birthday last week and loved it, even though it didn't glow in the dark as he thought the package art implied. However, it would no longer move forward (it has a "push and go" mechanism) after 4 days, and the back wheel would practically not move at all after 5 days. My son has not been rough with it - he's just been pushing it along the floor. The missile launcher on the back of the batcycle comes as a separate piece that snaps on, but will not stay on (not that I mind, but some of the kids might). He still likes the way it looks, but it's rather frustrating now that it doesn't move. The description does not mention it, but the batman figure does not come off the batcycle. ... Read more

Could have been better.
The figurines look OK. Even the strangely-colored Batman seems so work. I do hate the absence of the stand, however. The toys would not stand on their own, and, because of the way the joints are made, they cannot be sat down either. ... Read more

This Batman Deluxe Figure has so much going on it's hard to know where to start. One of three Batman Deluxe Figures, Night Patrol Armor Batman is a highly detailed and sculpted action figure, appropriate for the collector and any fan of Batman toys. Night Patrol Armor Batman sports a gold colored breast plate and thigh guards, a utility belt with hoses that connect at the knees, a see-through visor covers his standard-issue batman mask, his cape is made of cloth, and silvery blue armor covers his muscular frame. His armaments are a shield and the Batarang launcher. We had quite a bit of trouble figuring out how to attach the shield, and the Batarang launcher was hard to use. Great figure, poor accessories!
This action figure COULD have been great. The figure itself is durable and my son really likes it. But none of the accessories that came with it work properly. They will not stay on, and they don't perform the actions that they are supposed to. So they were tossed aside, and the figure gets used by itself. We've been finding the same thing with all the mattel action figures that he has.

Eh
This figure although it has a great sculpt and character supporting it seems to lack in color appeal. I'm not big on the color scheme of this Batman, is he a circus clown or a dark knight? I don't think Mattel can tell! ... Read more

This Is A Good Toy
I think this toy will encourage physical activity, and still be fun. This is a good toy to have! I would suggest it for any Bat-fan!

Nothing is cuter
Nothing is cuter than seeing my five year old as batman. This set is really great. The mask is a good fit and sits well on his face and head. The cuffs are a little flimsy, but I think I'm happy they don't secure any better than they do. (other wise, I'd be constantly uncuffing his brother!!) The plunger shooter is basically a mini nerf toy with a suction cup top. (I caution anyone who doesn't like toys being shot to the ceiling or fridge!) All and all, it is well made and a lot of fun.

Everything we hoped for
My three year old was just absolutely happy, speechless and excited all at the same time at first glance at this item. When we tried on the mask, it completed the expectations that must have been running through his happy little head. The tool belt and other items unfortunately were quickly disregarded, but he did play with them a bit after the initial excitement and posing in the mirror.

All the customer reviews were right on target about how fun this product is. The packaging could have been a little bit better, the mask was a little bit scuffed/scratched-up but that was not even an issue to my little guy and not noticable either without carefully studing the mask up-close. I do have to Supervise my son when climing up or down the stairs (we have a two story) or when he is outdoors when it begans to get dark because like a halloween mask, the eye holes in this mask limit his range of vision. He has triped or bumped into things he usually wouldn't have without the mask, but don't let that discourage you because all the pro's definately outwieght the con's.

Playing in the Batman pajamas has been a fun past time, and will continue to be even more so now that he has the mask to complete the outfit.

Well worth the price
I bought this set for my 3 1/2 year old bat-fanatic. Although the other pieces of the set did provide some brief fun play, the mask was the true hit. It adjusts to fit almost any child, and was a huge hit when worn in the supermarket, gym daycare, back seat of the car, etc. etc. In fact, it was frequently worn to bed (and removed after little batman fell asleep!). All the kids at the gym daycare lined up to play with "Batman" ((...)get the Batman pj's to go with this mask for the complete Batman look.) My little Batman made everybody smile, and lots of older moms told me wistfully that they remember the days when their little guy dressed as Batman.

Great for Batman Fans!
We bought this for my husbands son who has loved Batman since he was 2 1/2 years old. We've gone through at lease three batman outfits and more masks than we can count! All the masks we had bought in the past were made of clothe and easily ripped. This mask is plastic and should last him a lot longer. He loved this whole set because he could be more like Batman! I would reccomend this set for anyone who has kids that love Batman. ... Read more

Batman doesn't wear purple. A metallic shiny logo won't help him blend into the shadows. Horrible. F

Batman has lost it.
Beause that's the only way he's going to leave the batcave dressed in that. I don't understand why Mattel keeps force-feeding its consumers these ridiculous variant repaints. And even if you are going to present a variant, at least adhere to the stasndards of the Dark Knight. The other variants such as the night patrol Batman are actually quiet good. Don't buy this for yourself or for you kid. No matter, how young they still know Batman is not gonna dress like that. It's gonna wind up on the bottom of the toy bin. ... Read more

We thought this was the coolest of the three Batman Deluxe Figures. Tech Armor Batman wears graphite colored armor adorned with a silvery green breast plate and shin guards. He's articulated at the forearms, wrists, waist, knees, legs, and neck. He's got an arsenal of weaponry including a laser cannon, claw arm, disc launcher and disc missile. The claw arm, which snaps tightly shut, is attached to a big mechanical-looking arm that branches from one of Batman's shoulders; you can also swap out the claw for the laser cannon. On the other side, the disc launcher clips on to his forearm, ready to fire a green disc-shaped missile with the Batman emblem cut out of it. He's got a stern look on his well-sculpted face, under the standard-issue bat mask with very pointy ears. His cape is cloth and hangs a little weakly off his back. Dark Knight with all the trimmings.
This is another one of mattel's repaints and hence Batman variations. But unlike several of the other figures, this one actually works for me. It shows Batman as a futuristic knight with a bunch of techno accessories. The color scheme also works great. One downside about the accessories, as with all mattel figures ther doesn't seem to be any instructions on how to place them on the figure save for the picture on the back of the box. And since, this one has by far the most accessories it gets a little confusing for kids (some adults also). All in all, the good outweighs the confusing therefore it's a good buy. ... Read more

Batman in black
This action figure is really fantastic, the mixture of silver and black makes Batman look totally awsome and intimidateing. He has five points of articulation and will not break unless you really put some force into it. The only problem with this toy is the body poportion (his legs look pathetic compared to his overly musclular upper body) and the way the main frame is like all the other JL figures other than these minor flaws this figure will please any Batman lover.

Looks nice but utterly a disapointment
Just like it's blue counterpart, the Black/Silver Batman looks immpresive in it's carded box with the trading card and stand inside. But after a couple of hours of displaying the figure on it's stand, Batman started to lean forward as it's legs weren't able to support the figures upper body weight. (When you really look at it, the weight of all the JLA figures with the exception of the new Lex Luthor in the Superman/Lex 2-Pack aren't distributed equally as it's base, the legs, are so small while their upper body looks like they spent weeks in the gym) If your a collector and you want to display the figures, do so without using the stands, they are practically useless in the long run. I suggest that you just leave them inside their packagings. They look better that way. As for the kids who want to play with this figure. It's a great buy as it looks just like what they see on television and that is certainly something that will spark their imagination.

The Dark Knight Never Looked So Good.
I never could figure out why Batman used to run around in grey and blue outfits. When the animated series switched to grey and black, that made more sense. But a jet black Batman with silver highlights...it's just too sweet for words.

Get alot
Stack up on all these JL figures while you can. Especially since alot of these offered by amazon are first productions which are gonna be rare(they have 2nd for Martian manhunter though but first for batman and superman variants and WW). ... Read more
