Durable, but will be outgrown
Most people look to the Schwinn brand for durability, but a typical bike-riding boy would probably outgrow this bike before he is 10 years old. For about $40 more, you can buy a better Schwinn BMX style bike with the cords running through the frame so they don't get tangled up if the front wheel is spun around.

bike
this bikes is a piece of crap. the rims bend when u sit on it the brakes dont work and the coaster brakes engage automatically

"big boy" bike
I bought this bike for my 6 year old son during the holidays. He was still at training wheels level. I took him to the park one early afternoon to learn how to ride his new "big boy" bike. I was very pleased with the steadiness and easy riding during his experience. The brakes worked extremely well. My son loves the bike and I recommend it for those who are willing to leave training wheels behind.

Wow!
Quite a bike for the buck. Amazing hand-me-down durability and great safety features (acorn nuts, padset, etc.) Will buy again! ... Read more

An education in frustration
A 5 yr old's life is frustrating enough. Waiting not so patiently for papa to get done with his chores so he can go watch the kids skate. The time has finally come. Every 30 seconds ... papa, the straps are loose again. Thank goodness they aren't to the point of skating down our somewhat steep street. They would break their neck with these straps coming undone.

I bought two sets for my two 5 yr olds and the straps keep coming undone on both sets. The tensioning clasp just doesn't stay snapped shut. I looked high and low for a good pair of skates with features that I wanted, an inline with training wheels. These looked like the ticket, and I ignored the reviews as I couldn't fine others with these features. That's what I get for ignoring the reviews.

... Overall the skates look like a good design but are rendered useless with the always opening clasps. ... A locking strap clasp would be an easy modification. ..

4 year old loves it!
I bought this for my 4 year olds birthday in April and they have been great. I haven't had any problems with the closures holding, they appear to be pretty strong. I wasn't thrilled with how bulky they look but my son thinks they are pretty cool. I think the skates are a good way to start learning to in-line skate.

Faulty closures!! Do not recommend.
These skates do not allow much fun because every time my son gets going they come undone. The buckles(closures)do not stay shut. He cannot wear them at all because of this, I am constantly closing the buckles. I was so excited about getting these for him for christmas, and I turned out getting him a pair of the fisher price my first skates. I recommend if your childs foot will still fit in the fisher price my first skates to get those because these are not worth it. I was very disappointed in these because I like the look a lot more, than the fisher price my first skates, but oh well, the fisher price work better, and I have to go with that.I hope this helps.

Don't waste your money
I bought these skates for my 3 yr old and the strap keeps coming undone. I'm going to return them. ... Read more

Very disappointed
We bought these skates for our 5 year old. She could barely skate in them. They are too big and bulky for children just learning to skate. We returned them and have yet to find another pair.

Not good skates!
We bought these for our 4 yr old and were disappointed with them. Too big and hard to handle, however, we picked up a pair of the basic plastic pair that her shoe can also fit in and she did great! After they get the hang of those, the Barbie adjustable inline skates are great! They are $ and well worth it! Stay away from the "learn to inline skates" though! Luckily the store took those back!

poor quality
I took my niece skating last night with these skates. They were forever coming unstrapped - and actually fell off her foot once. They look nice - but not safe at all. ... Read more

This action-packed, energy burning rider offers a playground of thrills in even the smallest backyard. I'm disappointed in this toy
I've always loved Little Tikes toys and have been happy with everything I've bought of this brand of toys for my daughter except this one. She does not go high enough to satisfy her, and she is 2 1/2. She got this for Christmas when we got a hole in the Jump-O-Lene and sent it back! We were looking for something to replace that. I thought she could jump high and maybe sway from side to side at the same time, but she can't seem to do that yet. I don't know if she will be able to in the future but her 3 year old cousin can't seem to do both at the same time either and he gets bored with it real fast too. We wasted our money.

not worth the money
I bought this last summer and it has had about 5 minutes of use total. My 5 year old is too heavy for it (it doesn't give him any bounce) and my 2 year old can't touch the ground when he sits on it. Seem that only a very thin, tall child would be able to use it and find it at all entertaining.

WATER!!
Try using water instead of sand it works just as well and takes a fraction of the time!!!

WhirlBounce Rider
My mother bought this for my son for his birthday last year. We just set it up on his birthday this year. We waited so long due to the "sand issue" 90 lbs of sand is a lot of sand. Putting it together was no big deal, but getting the sand in that little hole was a big deal. First we bought sand that was too wet. My son and his friend were dying to get on this thing, so I had to go back out and get 90 lbs of dry sand. Also, it tells you not to get sand in the spinning part, which is impossible because the hole for the sand is 2 inches from the spinning part.
Not very happy at all. And it was expensive. By the way, when it was finally ready to ride, the kids were on it like 2 minutes and were bored.

No fun for the little one
My son recieved this Whirlybounce Rider for Christmas. I thought it would be great for him since he is an only child and he'll be able to bounce around on his own without needing another child on the other end. But no such luck. My son is 3 1/2 and is a large boy for his age and he had no luck being able to bounce around. It's very stiff and too big. I would also say Little Tikes misguessed on age approx. My little newphew who is turning two next month can't touch the ground when he's siting on it. I would say this toy is a big disappointment and DO NOT buy it. And it's not too cheap either. ... A tinier version of the traditional Radio Flyer steel trike, this 10-inch classic couldn't get any cuter without an anxious toddler onboard. Wide handlebars with grips, matching red pedals, a step in back for piggybacking, and a wide two-color seat give it a distinctly retro look. But its old-fashioned style doesn't take away from its functionality--the ride is smooth.--Diane Beall ... Read more

Great purchase!
My husband and I purchased these tricycles for our 2 year old twins. They live on these tricycles during summer and love them so much. The push bar was great for when they were learning to navigate them, now they are pros! They especially love to ring the bell. We bought them baskets to put on them to gather things when we go on walks and they couldn't be happier. We have never had any problems with them tipping over or with any of the parts. When putting them together we were careful in following the directions and have no problems with them at all. I highly recommend them, they are a great price for all the fun they will have!

BEWARE!!!! This falls apart!
We got this cute trike for our toddler and it was falling apart 2 weeks after christmas. The handles totally come out of the base and it just crumbled to the crowd. We tightened it and everything a # of times and yet it still falls apart!!! BEWARE!!! this could be a safety recall issue.

I should have read the reviews first
Like the other reviewers, I am sorry I purchased this trike. I too had a moment of nostalgia and always thought Radio Flyer created good products, therefore, I bought it for my grandsons. It is very easily tipped over which leads to lots of tears and frustration. The handlebars are constantly crooked and it's driven me nuts trying to "right" them. For preschoolers, I'd recommend Step 2's Tractor--very durable, easy to pedal, and kids love it (especially with the cart/wagon accessory attached), and it's never tipped over. I've learned my lesson: Always check out the reviews on Amazon before purchasing toys.

Do not buy this trike
My daughter received this tricycle for her 3rd birthday. She enjoys riding it, when it is not broken. Metal forks split the front wheel, but the petals are attached to the metal forks by reinforced plactic joints which slide into the forks and hold the wheel onto the forks. The plastic joint has broken twice in six months, from normal use. While Radio Flyer has been helpful in sending replacement parts, and has now offered to reimburse for the cost of the tricycle, neither helps my daughter, who has a tricycle she cannot use. Shame on Radio Flyer for such a poor design!!
Other reviews are also accurate in that the tricycle does tip over easily while turning and pedaling.

Keep Looking, Don't Buy
I bought this particular trike for my 22 month old and wanted to stick with the "classic americana". What a mistake! If I still had the receipt, I would return it. This trike tips very, very easily. It is difficult for a younger child to learn to steer, therefore, the adult push bar SHOULD come in handy. However, on this particular model, the adult push bar is completely useless. You cannot assist with steering, if you do, you will tip your child. The adult push bar is only useful for a straight line ride. I wish I had bought a more durable, sturdy trike! ... Read more

It's a HIT!
We bought this for our daughter who is turning 2 next month and she LOVES it. She saw it in the store, jumped on it, rode it around, would get off for a second to look at another bike and get right back on...She was not letting this one go and when we tried to leave she rode it out of the bike area so we had to really distract her to get her off and out of the store with one in the box....

Once home-dh assembled it and had to actually read the directions but it was pretty painless and off our daughter went on her new ride.

Her feet don't touch the petals yet-well, barely-but she doesn't care. She pushes along the ground, plays all the songs and what not on the dash and truly loves this Trike! She was warming up to the petals while in the store, so I know she will be using them in no time...once her legs grow a bit more.

It seems pretty safe too and has a thing in the back so you won't tip....easy to get on and off in a hurry since there are so many things to do...but also quick to catch your attention and back on the trike for another ride around the yard!

Enjoy! Our daughter Loves it. Worth every penny so far.

"Care Bears are coming to your town"
My daughter was given this for her 2nd birthday and it has been a hit. It is true that the decals come off almost immediately even though it was kept indoors, but can be used by those that can and cannot yet reach the pedals because the back is so wide. Has been very durable and does not tip over at all. Would recommend this trike as a beginner for all!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Opps
Hi. We just went and bought this item for my 11 month old daugther. It was the only one of the shelf at target so we got it. About 10 minutes ago we start trying to put it togther. No luck it will not go. So know we have to take it back and find something else. I thought it was cute but being the only one on the shelf I should have known better.

3-0 out of 5 stars decals falling off
I think this trike is very cute, but when I first open the box to put it all together, the decals (stickers) were already falling off. When you try to turn for steering it is also tight moving it left to right. Other than that, the sounds are great and it looks very cute.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good buy
I bought this toy for my daughter who will be two years old in May. I wanted to buy her a tricycle and once I saw how cute this was, we went out and bought it. Lexi likes the dashboard with the sounds - it plays a song and even says "turning right" or "turning left" with the push of the turn signal buttons. The only thing that I was disappointed with is that Lexi cannot reach the pedals. She doesn't seem to mind since she just scoots it with her feet on the floor. She'll grow into it and I'm sure it will get a lot of use. ... Read more

When kids grow out of the Radio Flyer, they can go for anExplorer. No, not that Explorer. This one is a chunky plastictowing wagon that measures over 3 feet long and 21 inches wide and iscolored red, tan, and teal. It's like a Radio Flyer on steroids! Thelong black handle makes for comfortable towing and doubles its overalllength. Its wheels are 3 inches thick and 9 inches in diameter, and theside panels pop out for loading. 5-0 out of 5 stars A Christmas Wagon
My two year old daughter begged for a Christmas wagon when she was 2 yrs old. A friend bought her this wagon for Christmas, and she beemed with joy! She is six now, and has two other siblings that enjoy the wagon just as much as she does. In fact, this wagon is so roomy, and heavy duty, they can all ride in it at the same time. I highly recommend this wagon to people who are looking for a sturdy, long lasting toy. It's weather proof too! The long handle makes it easy to pull, even if you're an adult. We highly recommend this little tikes wagon.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Good Wagon, but Perhaps Not the Best Choice.
This wagon is overall well designed and extremely durable. It is also relatively lightweight, which makes it easy to load in the back of the station wagon for a trip to the zoo (or wherever). We have had lots of fun with it over the past several years. However, if I were to make the decision over again, I would purchase a wagon with rubber tires. The plastic wheels on this wagon are really noisy when riding along the sidewalks, and going over curbs or other bumps in the road (or gravel pathway) are much rougher and more difficult to maneuver than in a wagon with rubber tires. Granted, my 3-year old has never complained, but I would appreciate the extra benefits of the rubber tires.

My daughter loves this wagon.
Our 2-year-old daughter loves the wagon. Despite being one of the smallest at the store it is huge for us. The large plastic wheels make it easy to pull over mulch (park), grass or dirt. It has plenty of room. I break it down as I have a small trunk, which is easy to do. It steers well and is very easy to clean. We are very happy with this purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
Received as a gift and use it frequently for my two kids ages 3 and 6 months! Great for neighborhood walks, malls, etc. Durable and comfortable!

5-0 out of 5 stars we love this wagon!
i walk several miles a day taking kids to school and picking them up. we had a regular red metal wagon that died after only 3 yrs. we picked this one up and we love it. its easy to pull, doesnt hurt your arm, the handle is big enough that if i dont have a kid riding they can held and "help". i fit 3 children in there with no problem and its safe for my 1year old as the side are high. it didnt run me over as i was walking down a hill, i like having that control. also it has rain holes, so no more inches of water in it! it has no educational value but this is a great wagon! ... He loves it
Our little boy picked this out at TRU. He had to have it, and we gave in since it was the first thing he had ever really picked out on his own. He enjoyed it in the beginning, but, now that he is 22 months old, he loves it. He is constantly scooting it around the house and driveway. As of yet, we have not had any problems with the horn as others have mentioned. We also did not have any problems with him being able to straddle it. He has played on it since before he was a year and still does at 22 months. I would recommend.

Very disappointed.
This toy car is just too heavy for a toddler to maneuver. We've had it for over a year and our son hardly ever touches it. It's adorable, but not at all practical.

2boyz mommy
I bought the Red Roadster for my first son for Christmas when he was 15 months. He is now 3 1/2 and has never really used it other than as a seat to sit on while waiting his turn on one of our many other ride-on toys when friends and cousins are over to play. Our younger son just turned one and also has no interest in it other to stand next to it and honk the horn. Both boys love to ride on various Little Tike, Step 2, and Fischer Price Trikes and Ride-on toys that they and their friends own. This toy was my first choice because of its nostalgic look and was more "mature" looking ( no primary colored plastic parts) but I have really changed my opinion on what is the best value for the dollar. The metal body is heavy and hard to manuever. It is hard to steer and the rear wheels ride up on my son's heels when he tries to push with his feet. And the hard wheels and weight of the body makes even a grown man yelp in pain when it runs over a toe. It also causes more damage to walls, parked cars, peoples shins etc. when toddlers try to manuever too closley. Lightweight plastic toys are much more user friendly for this age group ( even if they are not as trendy)

Collecting Dust
The horn falling off was the least of it. This toy is too wide for most toddlers. Their little legs can't reach the ground to push the toy. The steering is very difficult as well. Lots of frustrated tots. When we first recieved this car, I spent the play time bent over, pushing the toy for my children and their playmates. Eventually, we put the car away until oldest turned three years and his legs were long enough to straddle and push. But now my daughter (20 mo.s) is frustrated because she can't manuever it. We love the quality and looks of Radio Flyer products. Unfortunately, this one flopped.

Cute little car
My kids love this car. We only had one small problem with it. The horn came off and would not stay on the steering wheel. So we just left it off. This summer I went to Radio Flyer's wesite to try to get it replaced for my Daughter. And found that the steering wheel was recalled on this toy. So they shipped the replacement part free of charge. Overall I am happy with it and the kids are too. ... Read more

Not the best ride-on
I bought this ride-on for my daughter for her first birthday. At first she couldn't make it go, the she was able to make it go backwards, and finally three months later she mastered the thing. The problem with this toy is that the recommended age is to three years old and my daughter is now 21 months and can't ride it anymore for she has outgrown it. My daughter is a bit tall for her age and now her knees hit the steering wheel and her feet keep getting it the way. Another thing I never liked about it is that it is so light weight that it tips VERY easily, also the horn is a cute feature, but it is almost impossible for a toddlar to push it. The under the seat storage is nice, but my daughter never really used it and the detachable purse in front is too hard to remove and replace, plus the edges are too sharp. One feature that I found to be very smart is the high-back on the seat, not only does it keep your child from falling backwards, it gives them something to hold onto while getting on and off the vehicle.

Noisy
Its a durable toy but very noisy... its not your typical noise.... this rider has what seems to be a rattle so it is an especially noisy toy and cannot be used if there is anyone trying to nap in the house....it's quite annoying.

Got our money's worth!!
My daughter got this for her first Christmas. She couldn't even walk yet but loved to sit on it and push it. Well she is three now and still rides that car all over the apartment! She gets on it and says she's going to work. Although she is starting to outgrow it (finally!) it is one of her favorite toys! Never have had a problem with it in two years! Great buy!

BEWARE!!! NOT A GOOD TOY!!!
We received this item as a gift for my daughter's first birthday. At first it was all great and everything, pretty and adorable. She did like to play with it and honeslty tried, but the thing was not sturdy enough for her to play with. She kept trying to push it and would end up toppling over it. She also sat down on it and got her little foor stuck under it. I just don't think it's safe for her to play with. It is just a [pooly made] peice of plastic in my opinion.

Enjoyable Toy
I bought this for my daughter when she was 8 months and she just loves it. She like to get on it and tries to ride it but can't do it just yet. She loves to push her cousin on it and just enjoys pushing the buttons. This was well worth the money! ... Read more

Your baby or small toddler may be too young to swim with adolphin, but it's not too early to swing with one! Molded in a singlepiece from tough blue plastic, this aquatic friend attaches to astandard swing set. It's cradled by four strong yellow polyurethaneropes that attach to two steel S-hooks. The dolphin's seat area is afull 8 inches deep, even at the sides, and is 12 inches at the back. Most important to parents is the safety belt, which is located justabove the leg holes. We've had it for 5 years!
Got this when my oldest was only 2. She's now 7. She could ride in it just fine and she was a normal sized kid. Maybe they're done revamps on it in recent years, but we still have it and love it! I once let her not ride in it while she rode on a regular swing. She fell off and landed in the dirt! It was strictly Dolphin Swinging after that.

Happy Campers
After reading all the reviews I was'nt sure if I should buy the dolphin swing for my son. He is 15 months old and weighs 23 pounds . I'm so glad I did. We both love it! The leg holes to me are big enough that he will be using the swing for quite sometime. Happy Dolphins in St. Louis!

Good Swing but.......
This is a good swing except for one problem. When buckling the seat belt you had better be very careful because you can give your child a nasty pinch. We have found that this is only for small toddlers not suitable for large toddlers 15 months and older.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love It!!
We have had this for 5 years. Our 5 yr old used it and now our 2 & 3 yr olds love it. It has held up very well. The colors are still bright and the rope is in good shape. Our 40 lb, 40 inch tall 3 yr old has not problem fitting in this. Highly recommended item, worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Durable!
This swing was handed down to my son by his cousins who had used it when they were younger. My son loved it, but there is NO WAY that it can fit a 3 year old in it. My son used it till he was about 10 months, max 12 months. He is 28 months old and he could never fit in it now. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is that it can be a little awkward getting them in and out...other than that it's great. ... Read more
