This colorful chess set combines the classic game of strategy and intellect with the wacky and wonderful characters that inhabit the world of the Simpsons. Packed in an attractive metal storage box, the set comes with a fold-up playing board and a complete set of playing pieces. The pieces are all durable, and can probably handle a lot of abuse and mistreatment without being damaged. As a result, fans of the show could also use the pieces as action figures or perch them on a desktop or bookshelf when they are not engaged in a battle of wills on the chessboard. With Homer and Marge Simpson as the king and queen respectively, the chess set also features Bart (bishop), Lisa (rook), and Maggie (pawn) Simpson, as well as Krusty the Clown (knight). --Chris Burns ... Great For A Psychologist
This is a great game, it helps do my customers iq's. And its simpsons chess, not an ordinary chess set.

The Simpson's play Chess?
This is an excellent gift idea for anybody! This chess set is definitely gets an A+ for fun! Even if you're not a Simpson's fan or haven't heard much about them, this set wonderfully symbolizes the intelligence of the family. Homer is crowned with a beer in his hand while Marge stands taller than the king himself with a rose close to her chest. There is Bart as the bishop, Lisa as the rook, Krusty as the knight, and Maggie portrayed as the pawn. I am surprised, however, that Flanders was not the Bishop. Afterall, he is the holiest of people, the most spiritual to spirits, and the most faithful of all God's faithless souls!
I was asked to rank this toy on an educational level and I gave it four stars. I did so because it is a game of chess. Simply, chess is an educational game that increases your sense of logic and reasoning. Although it is the Simpson's that we are talking about, the fact that if a person can play well with these peices without mixing them up with confusion, then I think you've accomplished something. Skill. As with any chess pieces that are represented by other characters or symbols, you obtain a good sense of awareness and strategy.
This toy is a very fun toy and I would reccommend it to anyone, ESPECIALLY if they enjoy watching the Simpson's. It is fun to play, fun to watch, and fun to display. Friends should definitely be impressed with this chess set!

The Best Chess Set Ever!!!
This ia a great chess set because it shows your love for The Simpsons and Chess. It is very derable and fun to with your friends and family. I have alot of fun playing with this chess set. This is a must have for Simpsons fans like me.

Looks great, but it's difficult to tell which piece is which
The pieces look great, and it is a lot of fun, but it does become difficult to tell which pieces are which when actually playing chess. Bart is the Bishop, but he is holding a sword and shield, which makes me want to think he is the Knight (Krusty the Klown is the Knight).
My board also came with 7 pawns on one side, and 3 Bishops (the other side had the usual 8 pawns and 2 Bishops), which is mildly annoying.
Other than that, the set is well made (the pieces are sturdy, the case is metal, and the board, although its only made of cardboard, comes printed with a background of various Simpsons' characters).
As watching The Simpsons and playing Chess are two of my favorite activities, this set was a "must have" for me. I don't play on it much, but I am glad I got it, as it looks cool!

This Simpson chess is "Cowabunga"
The first Simpson Chess set left a bit to be desired, although it wasn`t too bad. This one, by Cardinal Games, is far superior. My only complaint is that Bart, the bishop, isn`t taller. I know he is a child, but his base could have been at least one inch higher. Also, the painting on the bases of the Barts are a bit confusing, sometimes making you think that your Bart is the other side`s Bart. I fixed mine by gluing 3 regular checkers under the Barts and repainting the bases to lessen the confusion. While I was at it I added one checker under each of the Homers. Now I love the set! For those of you not too handy with glue and paint, don`t worry. It`s still a great set. ... Read more

Just how good are you at fooling your friends and family? Test your powers of deception with Malarky, the game in which players try to bluff answers to such questions as "What is the 'cottage' in cottage cheese?" and opponents try to determine the real answers from the ones that are simply malarky. It's based on David Feldman's Imponderables series, which includes the books Imponderables: The Solution to the Mysteries of Everyday Life, Do Penguins Have Knees? An Imponderables Book, and How Do Astronauts Scratch an Itch: An Imponderables Book. The game asks the questions that everyone wonders about from time to time. After a question is read aloud, one player (unbeknownst to the others) reads the correct answer, while the other players present bluff answers--as convincingly as they can--and then each player votes for the answer they think is correct. Points are awarded when your bluff answer receives votes or if you vote for the correct answer. --Lisa Whipple ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is really fun. My kids love this game.
We played this last night with the family, we all laughed at the answers our friends came up with. Most of all we had fun and learned some cool stuff at the same time. If you like bluffing games, like Balderdash, you will love Malarky. It is faster since you don't have to write down the answers, you speak through the answers. The material is much better than Balderdash. Rather than definitions you bluff answers to questions like, "why did pirates wear earrings", or "why are pistachios dyed red".

This is going to be around for a long time. I would recommend this to anyone.

fun for the family
I am 26 and I played this game with my husband and my grandparents while on vacation and we loved it. We rented a beachhouse and it was one of the games that was there so we have decided to purchase it for more family fun.

Great Game!
I bought this game for some family members for our "Family Game Night." We try to all get together every couple of months and we are always looking for new & fun games. This game has become a must for each gathering. We can't stop laughing the whole time. Part of the fun is not taking this game too seriously. I highly recommend this game.

Fun idea but poor execution
The primary idea behind this game is making up answers to questions that most people don't know the answers to. I like that aspect of the game. Bluffing and psychology I love!

However, I have a problem with the gameplay. I don't like that the person who draws the actual answer is supposed to have people pick his answer as well -- unless the other players are very good, it's too hard to compete with the actual answer. I also don't like the aspect that if someone's answer is duplicated he has to come up with another answer on the spot. It's rare that a person can do that and be convincing.

Two much superior games in this genre are Balderdash and Beyond Balderdash. The idea is very similar (coming up with bogus answers and getting people to vote for your answer), but the gameplay works much better. I won't go into detail, but a main part of my above complaints are addressed by having each person write his answer on a piece of paper and having one person read all of the answers -- and having that person *not* have the incentive to guess for the right answer.

I was very frustrated by Malarky but I strongly recommend Balderdash and Beyond Balderdash.

Fun and educational
This game is awesome! I played it with some friends and now I've been looking for it everywhere....I found it here! It's so much fun to play. Not only do you learn that your friends actually KNOW weird stuff, you learn weird stuff too!!!!! ... Read more

Amazing
This game was the best game that i have ever played in my life!!
Truly Amazing.

A bit daunting for experienced gamers. Fun?
My wife is a big fan of CSI, and I looking for something we could do together for entertainment had purchased this game for us.

The board it self is pretty nice...thick cardboard stock with very nice pictures and color scheme that mirrors that of CSI.

You choose to play as one of 8 central characters (it doesn't matter who you play..there are no advantages to any character), and move around the board in a random manner hopefully landing on certain key areas to pick up additional clues.

The game ships with 8 different 'cases', and each time you play, the players try to solve the same case. There are three levels of clues. You must pick up all the clues in level 1 before you can proceed to level 2. Repeat again from level 2 to level 3. Once you have the clues for level 3, you can put together your case and hopefully choose the correct suspect. The 1st player to not only correctly identify the suspect AND the motive and means wins. This may sound fun and exciting, but my wife and I had a different take:

While stories (i.e. 'cases') are intriguing and set the tone and mood for the game, we found the game moves pretty slow. Most of the time, you are hoping to roll the correct number on the dice to land on a space to get a clue, and you can't move on to the next level until you complete the level you are currently on: much time is spent on rolling and moving and getting nothing done.

Second, the clues can be a bit vague or ambiguous. Many of the times we looked at a clue and wondered if it helped at all? Maybe the clues are more refined as we complete levels?

Once you finally get all the clues, and review your notes you have written on your provided 'case file notepad', you can select a suspect, and also select his/his motive, means, and a few other categories. This is where I found the game very unforgiving. You have to select the correct answer in like 5 categories based on the clues. Since the clues are pretty vague to begin with, and everyone's interpretation slightly different, it's like picking winning lottery numbers to get everything correct. Though I chose the correct suspect, and got 3 out of the 5 categories correct, I still lost because of the other 2.

The game is pretty educational however, because many of the clues go into great detail on forensics and tests administered. There was a lot of explanation of the science behind the crimes and cool factoids.

I find that younger children or even teens may get very frustrated with the length of this game and very unforgiving 'winning' practices.

Finally the game only ships with 8 cases. After you played all 8, there may not be any replay value. However the company suggests that they will have expansion packs in the future with new cases.

I'm in no hurry. ... Read more

Great fun for all ages
This is one of our five-year-old daughter's favorite games, and one the whole family can enjoy together. The picture cards enable very young non-readers to participate, too. Quite often we use the cards to play without the game board.

After two years, she still enjoys playing this game -- it has definitely stood the test of time!

Quick game and a lot of fun
I bought this for my six year old daughter. We have a lot of fun playing it. You pick who you want to be and have cards that have missing items. The items are on pieces that are scattered, upside down, throughout Strawbery Land. What's great is a)it's a memory game, b)it's a quick game, c)for the parents, it doesn't require constant checking of directions or helping with reading (very helpful after a long day of work and school when you want a game where you can just have fun and relax!) Def a good game for the young girl's age group.

A Winner
My daughter received this for her 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it. It combines the classic board and memory games together. The pieces are made of very thick cardboard and are very durable. The only small complaint is the spinner which tends to get stuck easily. We have played this game multiple times each day since received and she is still excited everytime we open the box. An excellent game!!!

Lots of fun and not too complicated!
My daughter received this game as a gift for her 5th birthday and we play it all the time. It is not so complicated that it is hard for a child to learn how to play but moves quickly enough that adults don't get bored playing it with little ones. And the illustrations are adorable! It's good family fun. ... Read more

Great family fun!
We gave this toy to my six-year-old son for Christmas. I researched the top toys of 2003 from Family Fun Magazine and "What's in Ned's Head?" rated #1 for his age range. We've played it a number of times since and made up a few of our own rules to adjust the fun for younger friends. We have a scanner so I've been able to "take pictures" of other little items around the house and place the pictures on the extra blank playing cards then add the actual items to Ned's head. Of course, the ickier the better! I plan on purchasing more for birthday gifts. The kids love trying to guess what’s in there and laugh each time they pull out the wrong or right item. I think it’s a wonderful game to challenge the kids to feel with their fingers and use their minds to “see” what they’ve found. I just opened the game and took a good look at it, the stitching and fiber fill look very secure. The plastic items inside seem durable, though Ned’s lunch was initially so fascinating it got a bit too much rough play and ripped in the middle. However, that hasn’t stopped us from using it and grossing out every time we feel it in Ned’s Head!

Very Fun, Very Different Game for boys and girls
This game is so cool my kids will not put it down. I have a 4 yr old boy, 5 yr old girl, and 7 year old boy that just love to play this game together. The kids stick their hands in Ned's ears and nose and pull out weird things like fake barf, aliens, all sorts of stuff. The soft head makes it safe to play with and my kids like to wear it on their heads. This game is easy to store- Everything gets folded up and put right back in the box. I love this game because it gives all of my kids something to do together that isn't too challenging for my young one but cool enough for my oldest. Your kids will have fun with it too! It's on my shopping list for my nieces and nephews!

Questionable durability after 1 game. Kids liked it though.
We opened this game yesterday on my 5 year olds birthday. The first thing the kids said is that his face has a point in the forehead - the manufacturer put the stablizing rods in backwards (back in front, front in back - it took serious manipulation to switch them around - a 20 minute job). The head is constructed similar to a groovy girl terrific tent (search on amazon), except the front to back rod is separated - I question how much strain the side to side rod can withstand after seeing 8 year olds with both hands in this thing. The point of the game is to find the object on your card. After one single game's play, the cards are pretty much trash. They didn't use very thick cardstock for the cards. Our other pieces haven't yet collapsed as in the previous reviewer. I have concerns that this game won't make it through the next play.

Not as cool as it looks....
The poor quality of craftsmanship really detracts from the possibility of fun with this game. It is just weird enough to be something the whole family wanted to play with. We were disappointed in the following: Ned's head is polyester stretched over a flimsy metal frame. The fiber filling comes out through the shoddy seamwork. The items one is supposed to "find" in Ned's head are beyond cheap: the disgustingly cool looking cotton swab completely fell apart with the first round of the game; the plastic screw is hollow and came crushed; "the vomit doesn't even have any brown chunks in it!", exclaimed my daughter.

All in all, we were completely disappointed in this game as the potential was definitely there. Play it once and stash it or convert it into a mask for next Halloween's trick or treating! ... Read more

It Got the Party Started!
My brother borrowed my Fact or Crap game, after I told him how much fun my husband and I had with it with our friends (We are in our low 30's). My brother and his friends are in their 20's.
He threw it in the trunk of his car, where it sat for weeks! One night, he was at a party with his girlfriend and it was pretty lame. My brother remembered the game in the trunk and brought in and everybody started playing it. It really sparked conversation and there were all different ages and types of people there. The party really came to life and it turned out to be a fun night. My brother said that people even learned a lot while playing. And...That's a fact!

* * Very Fun Game * *
Fun game that will give you lots of laughs!!

* Just Plain Fun *
This is a great game if you just want a simple night to kick back and have lots of fun and laughs.I am in my 20's and play this when we have family gatherings or when my friends and I are just hangin' at home for the night. We love it and always have such a blast while playing it.

not worth it
boring - a one note game. this could have been a card game - i thought it would be more involved. when you guess something correctly, you get a token and once the tokens are gone, you count them up and whoever has the most wins. the only twist is a kind of lightning round, but it's not enough to keep it interesting. the questions are cute, but the novelty wears off sooner than later.

Balderdash is more fun...sitting around without a game and talking is more fun.

Get Hooked
If you love trivia, you have got to get this game! It's fast, easy, and there is no board to have to deal with. You can play singles or doubles. I just wish there were additional cards that we can buy as we have gone through all the cards several times. You will have hours of fun, but I feel the questions are too hard for children. ... Great first game for kids!
We bought this game for our son for Christmas and he loves it. It has really taught him how to take turns and cooperate with his sister when playing a game. It is also a lot of fun for him. Our son is has mild autism and the visuals of this game make it easy for him to learn and follow.

Go Away, Monster! is a great game!!
Our son, who is now 3 1/2, has been playing this game since he was 2 years old. It is so easy to learn. The play is so quick that it holds the attention of a 2 year old. It's just like the "grow-up" games with playing boards and pieces. Everyone with young children should own this game!!

very cool for speech delayed 3 year old, great first game
This is a wonderful first game....Be sure to make lots of high affect funny faces and sound effests...oh no...I picked a monster! and then in an exaggerated way take the monster and throw it to the side of the room saying "go away monster!!!!!!" and laugh..and smile. Very good for speech delayed or autistic kids that really need to develop shared attention skills...fun!!!!

JUST PLAIN FUN!!!
It is a great game to get a toddler started....you can make it as fun and funny as you want! There is no stress with complicated rules. A child learns to share, count, and recognize objects...without realizing it!

Takes the fear out of monsters
The silliest, friendliest monsters inhabit the bedrooms of Go Away Monster! My daughter loves this game, and her friends enjoy playing it together. They cheer whenever a monster is selected and thrown into the monster pit (box). It's great for matching objects, sharing, turn-taking, and lets kids feel in control of any monster fears. Sometimes we let the monsters hide under the bed, or pretend they're part of the wall, but they're always discovered and sent back to the box. ... Read more

This special-edition game celebrates 65 years of Tripoley, a long-time favorite for parties or at-home fun. Tripoley combines the strategy and skill involved in hearts, poker, and Michigan rummy. One game of each constitutes a "round" of Tripoley. The group decides the number of rounds in each game before play begins. After all the rounds have been played, the player with the most chips is the winner. Designed for two to nine players. This special edition includes a rotating game tray, poker chips, and playing cards. --Alison Golder ... Read more

Great Game
Tripoley...where to start. You begin by dealing the cards evenly to all players, and there are variations which may include you dealing an extra hand. The first game you play is Hearts. If you have either the 10, Jack, Queen, King, or Ace of Hearts, or a mix, then you take all the chips out of those certain dishes; there is a special dish for players who hold both the King and Queen of Hearts, so you would receive the Queen dish, King dish, and the Both K and Q dish. Obviously this will build up in chip value over time with more players as it is harder to get both of these cards in the same hand. Also, during the game of Hearts, if you have an 8, 9, and a 10 all of the same suit in your hand then you receive the chips in that dish. This, as well, will build up over time.
Then you play Poker. You simply take five cards out of however many you have which make up your best Poker hand. If you aren't familiar with Poker, just look at the instructions for what are Poker hands and what are worth more. Start bidding with the dealer and all bets go in the "Pot". The winner, after betting stops, will get all the chips in the Pot.
The last game played is Michigan Rummy, where the dealer lays down his lowest card out of his entire hand. Then the person with the next highest card in the same suit puts down that card, until the Ace of that suit is played or the Stop Card, which is the last highest card played, is played. Whoever put the Stop Card down will then change suits by placing the lowest card in his hand from another suit down. This keeps going until the first person gets rid of all their cards and they claim all the chips in the "Kitty" section.
This game is very, very fun and they also list some variations to the game which make it even more interesting and fun. I gave the fun five stars because I have yet to have a boring game of Tripoley; the fun is endless. Five stars for educational purpose because you get to learn how to play three types of card games, and you learn to be strategic, whether it's betting or choosing the 'right' lowest card in Michigan Rummy (if you have two 3's, then stragety comes into play because you need to examine your hand carefully and see what suit will do better for you). This game is very durable; I've dropped several heavy things on this by accident and it is still in perfect condition.
Overall, this is a wonderful game for anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Grandma's view
As a grandma, I love this game. It keeps my mind working & it is a game I can play with my grand children & have fun , no matter what their ages ! We spend lots of quality time together with Tripoly. .

5-0 out of 5 stars For Card Lovers and Non-Card Lovers Alike
Tripoley goes way back in my family. We even had a hand-made Tripoley board, so surely the Tripoley Special Edition is a step up. Since it's three different games in one, it moves much faster than most card games. Even your non-card-playing teenager won't get bored. It's a good way to introduce lots of card game concepts, too, for younger players. And isn't it always fun to win poker chips!? ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Love this Game!
My daugther just received this game for her 4th birthday. She played it once at a friend's house and had been talking about it ever since. She was SO excited when she opened this present. The game is so much fun.It is a kids game that I actually like playing.(nice to get a break from Candyland and Chute and Ladders) It is easy to figure out how to play -- just a matter of reading the directions, which are simply written and easy to understand. The object of the game is to find out who ate the cake, what time they ate it and what they had to drink with it.The figures slide into the disc shaped stands and which ever figure has the picture of cake crumbs is the one who ate it.The stands slide off so the person who ate the cake is never the same.It is similar to the original clue game in that you go to the different rooms etc.It is just simplified. The game is designed for 5-8 year olds but my daugther just turned 4 and loves playing it!I do have to help her out a little but eventually she'll be able to play it with out my help. When we're not playing the game, she loves to play "house" with the figures.I'd recommend this for any young dectective or any parent who is looking for a break from other child games!

2-0 out of 5 stars UMMMMMMMMMM.........................
OK when my dad bought this game for me I was excitied. Then my friend came over and TRIED to play it but how do you know if they ate the cake or not?! All they give you is, Miss Scarlett,Mr.Plum etc, some pieces of paper with different drinks and all that, futiture (I dont know why they gave me this)and a game board. So how are we supposed to find out? I have played adult clue. But they give you cards and a file. If someone know how to play Clue Jr please tell me!!!!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Warm Up for the Older Child/Adult Version
I bought this game for my seven-year-old daughter who saw the stage version of "Clue" and I wasn't sure if she was quite ready for the regular version.

She enjoys the game thoroughly, especially the familiar characters (you know them, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet, Mrs. Peacock, etc) though instead of murder and mayhem, they are eating cake.... Yes, it is scaled down AND in "bite sized pieces" (sorry for the pun that was `dying' to be written).

I could easily see my daughter playing this for a couple months and then graduating to the adult version. It is simple to follow, engaging and does necessitate some logical thinking for the younger set. My older daughter played along and wasn't bored like she is by some other "little kid" board games.

Editorial Review

Put on your own mystery dinner theater: murder's on the menu, and everyone's a suspect in this grownup game for six to eight players. The game includes everything you need to serve up mystery, murder, and fun: a shopping list, menus, and recipes by cookbook author Sandra Gluck; eight party invitations and envelopes; place cards; secret clues; and, best of all, a murder mystery to solve. Just invite your friends to dress up and play the roles of the devious suspects (each with his or her own character booklet with roles and background info): Otto Von Schnapps, Tiny Bubbles, Papa Vito, Marilyn Merlot, Ralph Rottingrape, Hedy Shablee, Bonny Lass, and Bud Wizer. Serve up a meal or light snack, play the (included) cassette tape with its introduction, summary of events, and solution to the crime. Find out who killed California vineyard owner Barry Underwood, and why. --Rebecca Hughes ... Read more

A Taste for Wine and Murder
Although this murder mystery game set made for a fun evening with friends, it was rather confusing. I recommend reading the first dialogue so that you can get a feel for it, and explain it better to your guests. Also, please let your guests know that if their character booklet says anything about a "clue #x" at any point, have them let the rest know. The "clue" booklets are vital to determining the murderer[ess]. Overall, take time to decide what to say to your guests when explaining how the game runs, and make sure that you don't leave anything out of the explanation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Do you drink wine? If so, grab this game!
OK, I have to first admit that I *love* these kinds of party games. The whole idea of dressing up, hanging out with friends and trying to solve a mystery together while you eat delicious food is just about the most enjoyable way I can imagine to spend with 7 of my best friends. This game makes it so easy! You follow the instructions, hand out the notes to the players, and it's all set! A definite must-have for any fun-loving wine drinker! Perhaps the only drawback might be that some people just don't enjoy these sorts of play-acting games. So choose friends that really have fun with this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun, fun, fun!
What fun my friends and I had while doing this murder mystery party. A must for game-players and wine-lovers!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun! Good wine, good food and good friends!
We had a great time with 7 guests and a four course meal. We served a different California wine with each course. We played a round in between each course and remained in character the whole evening. It was a blast! ... Read more

Reveal has taken a well-known concept--Monopoly--and made it three-dimensional. The objectof the game is to become the wealthiestplayer through city development and property purchases. Two to eight players can choose a one- or three-level game, depending on time and the desired level of challenge. Thethree-level version requires stacking and matching three boards. Players roll dice to landon properties or instruction squares, and get further directives from stock market ortravel cards. Strategizing requires attention and fairly good math skills. Triopolyis an informal and clever way to introduce teenagers (and adults!) to the world offinance. There's a little of everything: wheeling and dealing, gambling, and someserious investment calculation. The game is attractive and well designed, with easy-to-follow rules. A nicefact for the conscientious buyer: Reveal funds research that seeks a cure for multiple sclerosis. --Sandy Hirsch ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Triopoly 3times the fun of Monopoly
Well, we all know about Monopoly...and well, we all know its a fun game. [if you don't like Monopoly you will probably HATE this!Triopoly has the same idea as Monopoly, but as its name says its 3 times the fun of Monopoly!

It has three "levels" to the game and there is lotto, Las Vegas and Atlantic City Casino! It's just so much fun...you will love it...I gurantee it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not exactly a game for small families...
Well, I bought this game for Christmas, thinking since my father loves Monopoly, he'll love this. I couldn't have been more wrong! When you look at the game, you definitely want to play with all three levels of gameplay--I mean, that's why you bought the game to begin with! When the three members of my family say down and began reading the rules, we discovered that the three level version was recommended for 6-8 players and that we should "please allow 6-8 hours for gameplay." We gaped at the rules, but decided we would try it. The instructions aren't kidding, people! As we rolled the dice and chased our pieces around the board, we realized they were right. If you know how long regular Monopoly can take, multiply that times three!

Great Buy
My friends and I had become obsessed with monopoly. We played every day at school and got together on weekends to play. But after a while we all got too good and it became a game of chance. Triopoly has changed that again for us as now we can learn a whole new game and a new way to strategize. Triopoly is a little expensive I believe but is still a great game to play.

airport and trucking properties
What have others found?

Is it true that the rules for rent on airport facilities are dependent on **number of TRUCKING facilities*** owned? rather than number of airlines owned? This seems quite odd as the other mode of transportation is NOT dependent on the number of trucking facilities owned.

Comments from the makers?

Triopoly Days of fun
I have been playing the original game with different areas of the world for two days now. The reason for this is I'm playing it with my girlfriend and as the game can change so dramatically at any time due to the stock market or having other things happen. It is great for the entire family and i think that you can learn a lot more about business etc than in other games. ... Read more

Love this game!
This is a really fun game. My sister bought it before a family dinner last week and the whole family just loved it! Even my husband who does not like board games at all and will only sometimes humor me with playing a couple, really enjoyed it. We didn't have any kids playing (I was the youngest at 27) but all the adults from my parents to me thought it was great! I'm ordering one for myself now! ... Read more

FUN GAME
THIS GAME IS SO FUN...MY FAMILY (PARENTS IN THEIR 50S, KIDS IN THEIR LATE 20S) LOVES IT! WE PLAYED IT DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND HAD FUN REMEMBERING TV RERUNS, GREAT SONGS AND MOVIES...I RECOMMEND IT

disco fever all over again!
you've got to get this game -- having spent the majority of my twenties living in the decade that brought us disco, this game really brought us back in time. the questions were really challenging, interesting and the best thing about is that there are so many questions that i'm sure we'll enjoy this game for quite a while. i would recommend this game to anyone who grew up in the 70's or anyone who is just plain nostalgic of this magicial decade. now that i found it, i think it might be showing up under a few trees of my friends and family this season! enjoy!

perfect for a night with old friends
I had some old high school friends over for dinner and wine. I had found the 70's game the week before and thought it would be a perfect after dinner activity. We all loved it and were surprised at how much we could remember!!! We've decided to have our next dinner party be a 70's theme and dress accordingly and play the game again.

interesting trivia questions...
Played this game with my parents and their friends and it was a hoot. The questions ranged from fairly easy to tough, but everyone knew something. One cool thing about this game is that every question pertains to a specific year (e.g. Q: This actor first stars as Re-run on What's Happening? A: Fred Berry - 1976) Trying to remember when things happened during the 1970s was challenging (although the game doesn't ask you to name exact years). I would recommend this game for playing in a group.

Gimme a friggin break this game is money
If you like trivia games and you are a fan of the 70's, this game is pure genius! Since I suck at pop culture, this game made me feel incredibly stoopid--but even total morons like me can totally enjoy the game. The best is the music category--the questions will have you singing the tunes all night long... Get it done--whatever it takes. ... Read more

"I spy with my little eye" is the chiming chorus of road tripswith kids, and also now of this game for preschoolers. It developsreading skills through colors, pictures--the high-impact compositionsof everyday stuff from the I Spy books by Jean Marzollo--andrhymes. Different games are possible with the same set of easy-to-readcards: listening, rhyming, and matching. Older kids can play with theiryounger, nonreading siblings without any rivalry. This game was given to our 3 year old as a gift and he loves it. His little sister, who is two, also loves this game. This game really helps to develop a childs ability to concentrate on visual cues. It is basically a matching game combined with a puzzle concept. There are no complex rules to learn, so within minutes of opening the box any child can begin to play and enjoy this game. As each match is made the child receives immediate reward and motivation to find a new match. Best of all is that this is a simple game with no buzzers or bells and is best played with the TV turned off. ... Read more
