Best toy in the world!
I think that this toy allows fun and education into children. It gives them a craft to play with when they are bored, and is fun for anyone to play with. I defenitely recommend this one of a kind "Wee Enchanted Garden Kit." My child Jessica who is 10, just loves crafts! I also teach in a school and bring crafts for them to do all the time! They seem to really enjoy it a bunch! this is totally a five star kit!

MOTHER OF 6 YEAR OLD
MY DAUGHTER LOVES FAIRIES SO I HAD TO ORDER THIS. IN 3 DAYS WE HAD 6 INCHES OF GRASS AND A FEW BEAN SPROUT TREES!!!! SHE LOVES TAKING CARE OF HER FAIRIES!!!!

Plants grew TALL
Had a wonderful couple hours putting this together with my 5-year old niece. And, because I live across country from her, she promised she would call me when the plants started growing. Just a few days later, I got an excited phone message from her that the garden was growing and the "plants were SO TALL." I called her back and told her to get the lawnmower out, which she quickly relayed to her father. The only thing I would change about this kit would be to have more realistic and fun animals and maybe an elf to go with the house. The kit includes a plastic frog and mouse that aren't even near scaled to the size of the house. An elf, a few deer, and a squirrel might be a better combination.

Takes awhile, but is still fun!
I got this for myself, actually. I like playing with stuff like this, even though I am no longer a kid! I had fun painting the pot and planting the seeds. A few days later, the grass started to grow. Unfortunately I haven't seen much of the beans - but hopefully soon. This is a fun kit to play with, but doesn't actually give you many hours of enjoyment. Once you paint the kit and plant the seeds (which doesn't take THAT long) you basically just check on it every so often to water it and see the plants. One other good thing about this kit, they give you extra seeds and tell you how to make them sprout using paper towels so you can see the entire process - very interesting! Would recommend, as the price is not too bad - but there are plenty of more eduacational toys out there that will occupy more of your time. ... Read more

Great Project!
I bought this lamp for my 7 year old daughter when her baby sister was born. She decorated the lamp for her sister and put it in her nursery. She was very proud of herself and it was a great way for her to be included in getting ready for the baby. Her sister is 2 now and her lamp is still on her dresser. She had a great time putting it together and it is very well made as well. A great project for girls!

I gave it 4 not 5 because I don`t have it yet. It looks really cool, and I bet it really is all the box shows! which is more then I can say for alot of toys these days,sadly. Well I will do another review if I get this.

I can't say enough about this lamp. It's QUALITY, a good project for a child 6 years and up. We bought one for a gift for an 8 year old too and she loved it. My granddaughter has a lamp that we made together, for her bedroom. What a good feeling she had when it was complete. By the way, the ONLY thing I did with her was help with glueing on the ball fringe. The only thing I would recommend is that Imaginarium also include other color fringes, like white, black, blue.....or ?? With a PINK fringe, it's clearly earmarked as a girl's project and I think a boy would enjoy a lamp too. I could see a camo lamp with a black fringe too.

great birthday gift
My 7 year old girl got this as a birthday present. The butterflies that come in the kit are very pretty and basically all the children have to do is decorate them. There were 3 butterflies included and my 4 year old also easily decorated one. We hung them from the ceiling in their bedrooms and they look very attractive. This is a one time do it craft project but I think anyone will get nice results.

Highly recommended
Great art project with parental supervision. We decorated my 3 yr old daughter's bedroom in a butterfly theme and these mobiles are perfect. She loves to paint and use glitter glue so this was fun. Make sure you cover the surface you are using because the glitter paint does glop and drip through the mesh of the butterfly, and let it dry overnight before touching. It was not very educational for her and she can't play with them, but the butterflies look beautiful hanging from the ceiling. Tattoo with your child
Kids love tatoos and my daughter is no exception. Short of actually letting her go get tatooed, this is great. It's fun...you get the hang of it after realizing you can't put in too much water. Enjoy...even my husband was tatooed, so I think it's fun. They wash off in the bath.

No worth the Money
It doesn't come with enough tattous. They run out pretty fast. You are just buying 6 markers to draw and color your own designs.

Good
My mom bought this set for my four year old son last week. At first I thought it might be a little advanced for him, but he got the hang of it in no time. Now he is tattooing the whole family. They are pretty easy to rub off, but that's probably a good thing, since he covered my daughter's face with flowers right after she got out of the bath! For the price, this is a great toy.

My Son Adores This!
After reading one good and one bad review, I was torn whether to buy this for my son or not, but I'm glad I did! My only complaint is that the color-in markers take a while to dry. Other than that, the tatoos are easy to apply (my 6-year-old does it himself), fun to color and even better to show off! This is by far one of my better toy purchases!

A Big Disappointment!
Gave this to my granddaughter for her birthday -- she LOVES tattoos -- but this was a big disappointment. She quickly got on to how it worked, but when she colored in the outline and imprinted it on her hand, the tattoo was unrecognizable . . . AND to make matters worse, it rubbed off immediately. Great tea set
My seven year old niece had a tea party theme for her birthday, so this was a perfect gift! She worked on it with my ten year old daughter, and they completed it in one full day. The finished product is great. This is not a cheaply made tea set that's going to break the first time you play with it. My only complaint was that every color of paint was too thick so we had to add water. I should have taken the advise of another reviewer and only added a few drops. I made the yellow a bit too runny.

Great To Make and Use!
My daughter and I just finished our tea set a few days ago, and I felt this is a product that truly deserves a good review. I should start by saying that my daughter is MUCH younger than the recommended age and still was able to really enjoy this project.

Using the example on the cover of the box as a guideline for our tea set, we set out, with my daughter painting all the solid color on the plates and cups (I just smoothed it out a little). My first thought was that we were probably going to run out of paint, but as it ended up there really was enough paint included. Some of the colors were a bit too thick, but adding just a drop or two of water solved this problem. Warning: Don't do what I did and add too much water. Our orange became runny.

This isn't a project you are probably going to finish in one sitting. We did ours over a three day period. The paint dries pretty quickly, and I'm sure it's possible to do at one sitting, but probably not with young children who have a hard time keeping their hands off of not dry enough paint. Besides, stretching it out made it even more fun for us.

When it came time to make the paint permanent by baking it in the oven, I realized we had lost our instructions. We e-mailed and left a voice mail at Creativity For Kids. Not only did they e-mail back right away with the instructions, but they also called a couple of days later. WOW!

Our tea set turned out very cute and my daughter is really having a good time serving tea and food to me and her stuffed animals and dolls. This is definitely something that we will keep and treasure.

Don't buy this!
This diary is a nightmare! We made the mistake of making it a gift from Santa for our 7 year-old. Now, we have to explain why Santa would give such a lame gift. The diary, itself, is smaller than my hand. The pages were all stuck together. I actually had to separate them page by page. It looks NOTHING like the picture on the box and, most annoyingly, the lock is absolutely impossible to open. Even the directions warn you that the lock is very difficult to open with the key. We're going straight out to buy a good old-fashioned diary. Shame on this company for promoting such a disappointing product!

Poor Quality
This book is not anything like what it showed on the box. I was hoping for a larger diary and the dimensions in the descriptions were mis-leading. The diary is not that large. The pages are thin like tissue paper. I plan to return this item. It's way overpriced. I have seen better quality at the "Everything's a $1.00" store!

Great Craft
This book is a great introduction for making candles. While it is targeted towards kids, I had a lot of fun with it. I've been doing crafts for quite a while now, but this was my first candle making effort. The beeswax sheets were easy to use and the candles turned out better than I had hoped. If you are looking for an easy way to get into candle making or just want to make a few for gifts, this is a great way to get started.

Not a good idea
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is quite creative. These candles looked terrible when she completed the project. What a waste of money.

Natural & Educational
While I didn't get one for myself, I did give one to a dear aunt and her family and one to a dear friend in CA and they both love them. I have made my own beeswax candles and should buy one for myself. My friend liked learning about the bees and my Aunt Beverly said that they burned nicely.

Very hard to do for a 5 yr old
We purchased this for our 5 yr old daughter for christams. It was not easy for her to do. The wax was not easy to use...and did not stick together very well at all. I would not recomed it at all!!

Art plus fire -- creative, exciting, & child-friendly
I bought this for my 6-yr old boy's birthday. After a few minutes of my explaining the basic concept (wrap the wax around the wick) he quickly made several really neat candles. I have two other boys, 7-1/2 & 9, who loved it, and I'm planning to buy more. They all had so many ideas of how to make the candles--combines art with fire -- great combination! The candles burn clean and have a pleasant smell.

However, I'd love to find a cheaper source of colored beeswax. I can see this being a continuous source of enjoyment, and a great Bday present for other kids.

No allowance of creativity
I was very excited to receive this scrapbooking set, but I was dissapointed in it. First off, the kit doesn't give kids (or anyone using it) enough creativity. All it really is, is telling you what to glue where, no real thinking or creative aspect involved. I would recomend just going to Joann's and picking up scrapbooking supplies to fit YOUR needs. Waste of $ and time
My 2 daughters spent a long time painting the plates and did some beautiful designs, only for them to start coming off as soon as the paint dried. The painted plates are useless, if even a drop of water hits the paint it comes off --Since the product is using glass plates which only older children can handle I think they would be responsible to handle proper glass paint as well. WHat a waste of our money and our daughters' time. The initial "fun" factor was higher but quickly dropped to zero (but I had to select at least one star!) after the girls realized the artwork wouldn't last

Fun With Two Glass Plates
Painting the plates is a fun activity because you can be creative. The only problem is that you have to be careful or they could crack or break.

Fun to Paint...but does not last
This was so much fun to paint...BUT, once we let the finished product dry...the paint came right off. Did not stick to the plate. My daughter (7) was so upset, she worked so hard on it.
