Geared to smaller children, this life-sized dollhouse has large rooms and a sturdy wood construction that will hold up to heavy hands. Measuring 51 inches tall, 32-1/2 inches wide, and 13-1/2 inches deep, this four-story dollhouse has high ceilings that accommodate any 12-inch-tall fashion doll. On the first floor is a hip living room for entertaining guests (other dolls) The second floor features a small kitchen and dining room with a superb city view. A glamorous and comfortable bedroom suite takes up the whole third floor while the fourth hosts a pet parlor and an intimate penthouse lounge. Dolls can ride from floor to floor on the working elevator that moves when kids crank the handle. The uptown dollhouse also comes with 14 pieces of retro-looking furniture that are durably made of wood and don’t have any small parts that could potentially break off. The perfect dollhouse, if it would just work!!!
I bought this dollhouse for my daughter on her third christmas. I thought it was a really good dollhouse for the price, and was very excited about giving it to her. When we put it together, it was great. It was a big hit and everybody played with it. She played with it everyday for a month until it started to have problems. The wiring somehow got messed up so that if you hit the fireplace for instance, the phone would ring, and soforth. That was just the first problem. After that, the batteries would run down within a day because the switch wires were also messed up. You can't get the lights to turn off now. I don't feel like replacing the batteries everyday, or taking them out after every use, so I'm just getting rid of it. I didn't keep the box to return it, or otherwise I would be returning it for a refund. Kinda a waste in my book.

great dollhouse, but i'd look for a more sturdy one
this is a great dollhouse in the fisher price collection though it is not exactly what I would choose because it is kind of rickity. That is not what you want to be happening, you kids playing nicely together and then it just falls on top of them. I gave it 4 stars on it's durability, because thats what happened to my three year old. it will be returned tomorrow.

    best townhouse ever, best dollhouse!!
This toy is certainly up top on my favorites list!Yeah, other people say it's not that sturdy, but I disagree! one of the best ever made Fisher Price! Keep up the great work! I love it.

    GREAT dollhouse
My daughter received this for her 3rd birthday and is still enjoying it almost every day and now she is 4 1/2. Her 2 1/2 year old sister loves it as well. It's always popular when her friends come over. It's great because it comes with some built in furniture, but has room to add more. Fun for the grandparents to add pieces to the collection. Big enough for both my girls to play side-by-side. The special affects are fun, but ours go crazy when the batteries go low so I just stopped replacing them and the girls haven't even noticed. I researched many, many dollhouses and this one fit all our wants and needs. Some dollhouses have rooms so small that once the furniture is in, little hands can't get the dolls in. All in all, a great purchase for both our daughters to enjoy for many more years.

Special Edition Townhouse Years of fun
My daughter got this about 2 years agao and love it dearly. It has held up well except for our dog eating her people. But we got a new family so thats ok. Now my 2 year old love to play with it. ... Read more

Raise the roof with Dora the Explorer! This huge dollhouse not only talks--it's bilingual! Unfold the sturdy plastic house to reveal several rooms, plus a second story upstairs. Press the picture frame to hear Dora talk about her family, or open the fridge to hear about how hungry she is. Six different accessories can be manipulated to produce more than 20 phrases or songs in both English and Spanish. The house is only partially furnished with built-in kitchen appliances and table, boom box and picture in living room, phone on one wall, mirror in bathroom, and miscellaneous illustrations of shelves in the bedrooms. Dora, her Mama, her Papi, and their couch are included. Also, this Toys "R" Us exclusive version comes with three bonus figures--Diego, Boots, and Swiper. Guess what! Dora the Explorer has jumped on the royal bandwagon! This intrepid explorer is now a fairy tale princess with magical hair that grows when the jewel in her crown is pressed with a wand. Dora talks and sings, too, in both English and Spanish: "Vamanos! Let's go to fairytale land! Will you brush my hair?" The 14-inch-tall plastic doll is not designed to be cuddled so much as played with and groomed. She is attired in a satiny yellow gown trimmed in pink and purple, and has a brush, barrettes, and magic wand. The magical tresses emerging from the hair-growing tube are quite realistic, although grownups, at least, might be a little unnerved at the sleek brown hair oozing in and out of Dora's head. Still, children are experts at suspending disbelief and accepting weirdness in the world, so they probably won't mind a bit. Four AA batteries required (included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

Cute, appropriate dolls that I am Happy to Give to my Girl.
I was thrilled to find this set of dolls at my local toy store. It is an adorable set of ethnically diverse dolls. I must admit that they seem a little big to play as Barbie's 8 year old sister, but I think that they are most appropriate to be played with on their own or with one of the other Wee 3 Friends Sets. I like that they have the fun clothes and accessories with out lots of make-up. (I have never been comfortable with the Bratz Dolls, and I think that this is certainly a nice alternative.) I am looking forward to giving these to my daughter for her 4th birthday.

    Three great dolls
I purchased these dolls for my daughter's 5th birthday. I was so please at the price for three dolls that she could share at her party. I love that they are all so cute and different. I think they are a perfect size for younger girls to dress and play with. The clothes keep her interested without leaving me uneasy. It is so nice to see three sweet little faces and three puppies too. Barbie is classic, but it sure is refreshing to see new dolls for my daughter's generation.

No Longer Realistic Barbie Play Toy
This toy takes away the fun of barbies. When i would play with my original Stacie doll, only 15 years ago i loved it because it was planning for the future. Now the Stacie doll no longer looks like an eight year old. I was displeased when they made the "my scene" dolls and the "bratz" are worse but now Mattel is changing tons of things about Barbies. Kelly`s head is bigger and her body looks like some of the anorexia pictures my doctor has hanging up and now the Stacie doll is ruined. My name is Stacey so i always felt close to these dolls and they have always been my favorites. My five year old plays with my Stacie dolls that are almost destroyed and when i head these dolls were coming out i got online and looked ta pictures and noticed they looked funny but decided to see them in stores. So the day before Easter i showed up at my local Tpys R Us store and the sales lady told me they had been getting calls about the Stacie dolls but taht they had not heard of them being released! So then i got online and started to read the reviews and when i heard they had large bodies i had to order one myself. Well, instead my sister ordered one and let me see it. I thought that maybe my daughter would approve of it still and she and my neice began to play together and after only 10 minutes my daughter said "mommy this doll isnt right" she knew! My daughter won`t play with them, although my neice will. Either way i dislike this doll and really, im worried about what Mattel is doing to their fashion dolls such , "my scene" and the new kelly dolls.

    What an unpleasant surprise.
My daughter and I expected these to be roughly the size of the Stacy dolls in the old Barbie line, and were very surprised when we saw how large they actually are. They might have been a bit more playable if there was at least some articulation, but their legs don't even bend. They are really figures more than dolls.
    Two thumbs down!

    Great new dolls!
I'm a collector and bought these dolls for myself. I love their sweet, innocent, happy faces! (I have not found the sly, bratty expressions on other dolls at all appealing.) These new "Stacy" dolls are delightfully pretty with larger, sturdy, well-made bodies and long, silky hair. I loved getting three dolls of different colors in one package! And the price is great for such nice dolls. Children will probably like the zipper case, and pre-teens will probably like the trendy clothes. I liked the innocence of their expressions and immediately bought the other available set. I've learned there may be 2 more sets. I'll be watching for them, too! ... Read more

I just gave my 3 year old daughter this dollhouse today - I love playing with it as much as she does. I would encourage buying extra furniture to complete the look. The furniture that does come with the house is not moveable which is a great idea because these are the pieces that provide all the phrases and sounds and this way they won't get lost - good idea Fisher Price! The many stickers to come with the house completes the look. This house is very sturdy I am sure it will be played with many years from now. My 7 yr old son also plays with this along with his sister.

    Nice House...
We bought this house for our daughter last Christmas and I must say it has been great! There are plenty of rooms for the family to go in. It comes with the dolls, a cat, a radio, and a few peices of furniture plus the furniture that is built-in the house. I still don't have all the rooms for it but my daughter doesn't even notice. Very durable and very much worth the price.

    Love this dollhouse
Our two daughters...age 5 and 2 received this doll house for Easter and they love it. Instead of fighting over it, like they used to do over their much smaller dollhouse, they're able to each be on one side and play out their own ideas. It's also a special treat for them to go to the store and purchase new furniture for their house. The sweet sounds and talking are adorable and I highly recommend this dollhouse to anyone. It's worth every penny we paid.

My expectations for the sweet sounds doll house
I purchased this for one of my granchildren and love it myself however I wish I would be able to furnish this house with the accompanying furniture. Why is it so difficult to do that?

    Great Christmas Gift
My daughter received the doll house with some of the furniture from her grandmother for Christmas. She loves it. We have since collected some more of the furniture. She spends hours rearranging the furniture and playing with the dolls. I constantly hear "Mommy come see what I've done now." I recommend this one highly. ... Read more

"Sunsparkle" Pony's Celebration Castle requires basic construction, but putting it together with a grownup will be a fun adventure, as Pony lovers see the charming structure taking form. Once finished, "Sunsparkle" (an included and somewhat rare Pony) can happily trot around her master bedroom, vanity room, disco, kitchen, and a bathroom. Each room features furnishings or appliances that have clever innovations, such as a stove that doubles as a kitchen sink. There's also a working elevator, full-length mirror, hot air balloon, two balconies, tableware, Pony clothing, and a brush for "Sunsparkle's" mane. As a gift, a sparkling pink, child-sized crown is included. To top it all off, the castle features charming music and flashing lights on the disco dance floor! 4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for kids...not for parent
My 4 y.o. absolutely loves this castle. Yes, the 2 pink "turrets" that hold the crown and balloon merely set on top of the castle and do fall off (double side tape or velcro fixes this), and the pink curtain/shelf above the yellow stairs falls off with little pressure. But my daughter doesn't seem to mind. I haven't really had any other problems other than what I've mentioned. If you are giving it as a gift, I would suggest putting it together before hand as there are DOZENS of small star and heart stickers that took me forever to apply. Otherwise, I just have to keep reminding myself who this toy is really child who seems to love it despite its flaws.

not worth the money or time
My daughter just turned 4 and loves my little Ponies. She got this as a gift (despite the reviews) and hasn't played with it since we put it together, which was time consuming oh and the stickers, c'mon why aren't they prelabeled? She takes her ponies and plays with them in her durable doll house.
Something on this castle falls apart as soon as you touch it. It's a cute idea, just very poorly made.

    This toy is crap!
My 3 yo has been dying for this castle for her ponies...we used it as major bribe for potty training...We opened up and went through the nightmarish installation process...could you add any more stickers? But the worst part is that the whole thing falls apart constantly! The stupid balloon landing turrets on the top have NO attachment so they fall off when you barely bump it or try to play...the elevator sticks...the frames around the windows fall off...the balloon falls apart...the front walkway and back staircase fall off...the spinning dance floor covers up the door music heart so you cannot operate the music with the dance floor on...the dance floor does not work in the turrets as stated since it is just too awkward to spin...the crown will not stay together...I should have read the reviews on before buying it since any were bad, but I never dreamed it would be so bad...Does Hasbro care nothing about who they are creating these toys for? My daughter loves her ponies and I have had fun collecting them for is sad that the castle is such a disgrace...but my Daughter is happy to have it, would cry if I returned it and I guess I will have to glue down as many of the pieces as I can...(...)

This Toy is tons of Fun for Pony Lovers
Okay I have read all the other reviews, and much of it is true, it was a pain to put on all the stickers, the elevator doesn't move very well, and you are better off if you glue on some of the pieces, and definitely pitch the crown thing. But all that being said, I am so glad that Santa brought this for my daughter. She is still playing with it almost daily. And nothing has broken either. Yes some things needed to be glued on to stay but big deal, they didn't break they just came off and after a little super glue they are fine. The castle is so much fun, the way it plays music and lights up when a pony crosses the entrance is great. And I think the baby pony was the highlight of Christmas for my daughter. So my point is, yes it is a bit of a pain to set up for parents, but not as bad as some make it sound and it is worht it. Also save your pony-points ( and send for the mat of Ponyville. It has a spot for the castle, the cafe and the salon, it is really cute. We have the whole thing set up on her playtable (a train table basically)

    Pony Castle Fun but work!
We bought this for our daughter for Christmas shortly after her 3rd birthday. Assembly was a nightmare, there must be a million stickers to put on. The water fountain/pool that goes under the bridge falls off constantly as do all the other little parts that are not permanently attached. I think they do this so you can fold it away but even with the parts detached it doesn't fold well. The upper parts for the crown and hot air baloon come off at the slightest jerk of a young child playing which makes our daughter a little upset when she has a plan for the ponies to fly off in the baloon and the pieces have fallen on the floor several times. The crown is completely unusable, it doesn't fit well on the castle and comes apart when worn.
All in all though, this has been a huge hit with my daughter who has nearly EVERY pony. She plays with it often and we got the "map" of ponyville (available through the mfg with "pony points") which shows where the castle, salon and cafe are to go and we play ponies for hours. It's great for imagination and pretend play. ... Read more

    Baby and potty
This toy, although at times messy, appeals greatly to my 31/2 year old. I suggest you give it a try.

    My daughter loves this doll!
My daughter loves this doll. She loves to carry her around and play with her. She loves to "feed" the doll as well, but it is a little difficult for her to push the bottle far enough into her mouth.

Some of the pieces that come with the doll can be easily lost, and the top of the potty sometimes wants to come out, but those are the main drawbacks. Also, in order to keep her pottying, I have to keep filling her bottle, and in order to avoid a mess, I have to continue emptying the potty.

She is a very pretty doll, however, and my daughter loves to play with her... whether she's making the doll go potty (which she only does on her potty chair) or whether she's just carrying her around the house.

    Great potty teaching tool
I purchased one of these dolls a few weeks ago for my twins. I'd read and bought into the "Potty Training for Dummies" method, and one of their ideas is to have a doll that wets, figuring that, if a kid can show a doll how to use the potty, then they can do it, too. I did a little research, and found that this doll was the best for the money.

My twins (who are boys, by the way), love this doll. She only wets in the potty, which I definitely appreciate, both as a teaching element and as a mom who has to clean up. She comes with a LOT of gear, specifically related to toilet training.

The bottle and sippy cup are both a little bit hard to fully insert into her mouth, which does make for a bit of a mess sometimes, but my boys seem to have figured out that they have to get the nipples pretty far in, and we're doing much better with that after a short time.

In fact, they loved it so much that I ended up buying a second one, because they both wanted to feed her all the time. They certainly don't seem to mind that she isn't soft - both dolls are getting lots of hugs and love from my kids.

My only gripe - why not a boy? Our dolls do tend to stay naked most of the time (easier for the potty, anyway) and without clothes, you can't really tell. However, especially as a potty training tool, it might be nice to have a little bit of anatomical correctness, (especially for boys) as well.

However, that's only my OWN gripe - from the point of view of two 2-year-olds in my house, this doll is fantastic.

    Be prepared to get wet!
It's great that this doll can use a potty, I love that, but to give the doll water requires more pressure and accuracy than a 2 1/2 year old can provide. So when she gets a bottle, water winds up everywhere but in the doll's guts. And try telling a 2 1/2-year-old who wants to do it herself that you have to be the one to give the doll her bottle! And even I have a hard time feeding the doll without water leaking all over. It's also annoying that the bottles and sippy cup have rounded bottoms, so you can't put them down. But my daughter does love using the potty at the same time the doll does, it' s a great teaching tool.

    My kids love this doll
My daughter just turned one year old, and I wanted to get a doll for her birthday. They don't have many choices for that age, but felt that this one looked pretty safe. I also got her the matching stroller. She immediately started pushing her doll around and plays with it often. My 2 year old son also loves the doll, and at first they fought over it. The stroller reviews mention that the stroller is not well made, but I really like it, and think it's sturdy enough. I would highly recommend this doll, mainly because you get alot for the price. ... Serafina, the pampered snowy-white companion of Princess Anneliese, certainly does not lack self-esteem. This chatty kitty burbles over with more than 75 one-liners, including, I am quite the talented kitty, and I love looking pretty. Squeeze her paw, stroke her back, kiss her nose, and Serafina responds with words, songs, purrs, head tosses, tail wags, and, of course, meows. Additionally, when her human friends set up Serafina's jewelry box next to a CD player and insert Serafina's Adventure (included), signals from the CD and jewelry box cause Serafina to do her feline thing! She'll also respond to the Barbie as The Princess and the Pauper and other Serafina DVDs and videos. Measuring a good 22 inches from pink-tipped ears to long fluffy tail, Serafina has blue eyes, a gem-studded crown, and a matching heart-shaped locket, as well as a brush to keep that lush pelt sleek and smooth. Her jewelry box requires one 9-volt battery (not included), and Kitty herself requires three AA batteries (Try Me batteries included, but you'll need fresh ones). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Baby Annabell for My Granddaughter
Well, I bought Baby Annabell for my 3 year old Granddaughter and she absoultly loves her as do I!
I think she is just darling. My granddaughter found her early, as in before Christmas!
Yes she was her Christmas present and she found it in Grandma's spare room a couple of weeks ago and just knew that it was for her. Any way, we both just love her.

I received the baby Annabell for my daughter in the mail today. The doll is in good condition, however the way it was packaged was terrible. The box was mangled and I am surprised it was okay. I think my daughter will love this doll, but she will have to wait until Christmas :-)

I just got this baby today i loved it i guess its kinda silly for a 13 year old to play with dolls but i think its fun(dont tell my friends)anyways this doll isnt what i expected i thought it would do more stuff i couldnt chooose between rock a bye chou chou or annabell but when i found out annabells mouth moved i was set i think its fun to act like you have your own baby if you have old brothers or sisters who like to annoy then its not good like me my sister likes to yell and hit it right when it falls asleep but i think this is a great baby, overall.

4-0 out of 5 stars BABY Annabell
I got Baby Annabell in the hopes that I would get a very modern doll. When I opened the pakage I wwas somewhat disppionted. Yes she was modern like she giggled and cryed. She really makes realistic mouth movements.BUT sometimes when you try to read a story to her she justs keeps on giggling.I can't really take out of my rooom or my family will go insane. Even when she sucks it's super noisy. I wish you could feed her or have to change her diaper because it's wet. It's perfect for the LITTLE mother HINT BETWEEN 3-7 but, maybe we older mother 7+up need something more than bottle feeding or rattling a rattle . Over all I think she is perfect for younger mothers. Also, I thinnk she is over priced. I do have a recomendation for older mothers though, Baby Born.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great doll!
This doll is great--she cries and laughs like a real baby. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 year old and they both love to play with her. The crying is a little annoying after awhile, but you can turn her off with a switch on her back. She also comes with a bottle, pacifier, and toy bear. Well worth the money! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Even though the Best Friends gang could have fun almost any place, there's no way they'd turn down chill-out sessions in this two-level, open-sided doll house. It has a number of trendy, modern spaces, each with a different character: a common room with nice furniture and a tiny antique juke box; a vanity salon with tons of beauty accessories; a juice and smoothie bar with all the fixins'; a bay window library with for quiet time with books; and an umbrella-shaded sun deck up top. Amenities include an arcade game, open-shut drawers, tiny picture frames, a telephone, books, food, clothes hangers, and more. Everything can be moved around, which keeps things interesting, and the whole house folds up (into a heart shape) for easy storage. Choking Hazard: Small parts. Not for children under 3 years. --Diane Beall ... Read more

Dora the Explorer, "Nick Jr.'s" doe-eyed, Mexican sojourner, converses in Spanish and English as a doll as naturally as a cartoon. From simple, one-word translations to the "Happy Song," Dora speaks and sings using over 30, clearly pronounced, easy-to-learn words. She interacts with four included friends--a star, baby bird, butterfly and frog--who respond with movement, light and sound (via microchips) when placed in her right hand. Dora's body is designed to sit rather than stand (she has a very flat bum and solid posture), so she's actually built to be conversational. Just position her on the edge of a chair and the fun begins. If kids still need something to coddle, Dora has pliable extremities, and her pretty, brown hair can be combed. Her clothes, however, are not removable. Required: 4 "AA" batteries.--Diane Beall ... Read more

    at least it's fun
The toy is fun for my three year old; however, we have had a terrible time keeping track of Dora's "friends" which is the reason I rated durability rather low. When you place the "friend" in Dora's hand, there is no locking mechanism; so as my little girl is running around the house -as children do- with her Dora doll, Dora's "friends" are flying at my 4 month old's head. No injuries to report thus far, though. Also, we have already lost (and found) two of Dora's "friends". If I had one suggestion to make it would be to include Backpack with the doll, making Backpack fully functional so that the "friends" can live there when not in use. I have also been disappointed with Dora's phrases. Apparently, she is to say 30 interactive phrases and in the entire time my daughter has had her Dora doll, I've only heard a total of 8 phrases, which is my justification for rating Dora's educational value low as well.

    Cute Toy
My 2 year old received this as a gift. Six months later she still plays with it frequently. She even calls many of the characters by the Spanish names. Although she hasn't quite gotten into the games, she still enjoys the song. This is a must for any Dora fan.

    Great educational toy
This is a great educational toy. It is fun and easy to use for children. My daughter loves it. She received the toy for her first birthday and has been enjoying it. I'm so glad I purchased the toy for her.

    Not very impressed
I bought this Dora the Explorer Doll for my 2 year old. Within the first week it was grinding and not recognizing which character was what. Not very durable!

This toy is very educational. Especially if you want your child to learn two languages:English and Spanish. I say it's a 5 star toy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars RE: bad rebound
UM it's NOT the 1800's anymore! And if a women doesen't wanna dress in some turtle neck and grandma pants, than whatever!!!
So you are saying that these dolls are BAD role models??? LET ME CLUE YOU IN--DOLLS AREN'T ROLE-MODELS!
You 1 star reviewing, Christian mothers are just flat out hags!

I mean, ACTORS wear stuff like this, too! (I am taking acting next year and I'LL be wearing stuff that that, and im 12!!)

My mom dresses in tank tops, short skirts, and sandles, because it is NOT THE 1800'S ANYMORE! DUH! Fashion's changed over the past 200 years!

Right now, in my school, (and I go to an Elementery school) make up, and knee high boots are the popular trends from grades 4-6! I wear dark make up, long, dangling earrings, leather bracelets, black boots, and short skirts because i dress how i feel like(my parents also think it's okay, because we are only young for a while)

Fashion for all ages has CHANGED. It is NOT like we're reacting little house on the prarie!!!!

this is a nice doll, i like it, i recomend it!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kid tested and approved!
My husband and I took our 3 1/2 yr old niece to the toystore Barbie isle and let her pick any toy she wanted and this was the one. She absolutely LOVES it! She hesitated between this one and another Fairytopia doll but since pink is her favorite color I think she chose this one in particular.

I gave 5 stars simply because of how much she loves it, 1 star because it's not educational at all as far as I can see. 3 stars for durability and 4 stars overall.

5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit at my house!
One of my daughters got this from her grandma for Easter and the other HAD to have one too!We got it and they both love them.More than a month later the wings are still lighting up...amazing!

My daughter's favorite part about this Barbie was the little Bibble doll that came with it.

3-0 out of 5 stars The commercial say's "Alina"
My friend wanted to get me the barbie for my birthday because she saw it on a TV commercial, where her name was "Alina". However, on the websites, the Barbie's name is "Elina".... Why is it like that because my friend doesn't want to get it for me if her naem is Elina.

5-0 out of 5 stars Barbie is better then a long time ago
