GOOD Yu-Gi-Oh! TOY!!
These (small) 2 inch. figures are great to have. You can have a fake duelwith your little or older brother/sister. You can make all kinds of games! Thats why I gave it 5 stars for fun. I gave it 3 stars for education because I thought you don't really learn much unless your dueling and keep track of the score with subtracting and adding. I gave it a 4 star score for durable because they last a long...long time. some of them have small parts though and may break off...soo be careful. BUT ALL AND ALL THIS IS A REALLY GOOD TOY TO PLAY WITH!!!

You do not want to mess with this Saggi guy. Sinister in the way only a clown can be, this half-foot terror from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe sports a ghastly floppy hat, an evil smile, and a missile lodged in his mid-section that can be removed to reveal a gaping hole in his torso. He is only moderately posable, with single points of articulation in his arms and legs, but very detailed and colorful. The game included with Saagi is not much to write home about, a flimsy thing such as you might get for free in a cereal box, but will doubtless be of interest to the many, many fans of Yu-Gi-Oh!. --David Stoesz ... My child doesn't like to go outside much untill I had bought this gift for my child and he loves it. Dark Magic attack!!
Gadzooks, it's just a cartoon series-- it's NOT going to lead your kids into Satanism, human sacrifice, the Dark Arts, or even Wicca. Just relax and get this Dark Magician for your kid when s/he asks for it.

I am particularly fond of this character... And this figurine faithfully reproduces him, from his gothy purple armor and pointy little face, to the open-sided robe swirling around his legs. OK, they did give him purple hair instead of blue, but purple suits him well enough. The soft-plastic robe is an extra cool touch-- not only because it looks like he's standing in a high wind-- but because the bottom of it gives him something to lean on, so he can stand up on his own. He's a bit top-heavy otherwise, balanced on those long legs.

You'll have to tape the magic wand into his hand if you want it to stay put, but the same thing happens with all my action figures, so that's no surprise.

From an adult toy enthusiast
I personally get a kick out of Yu-Gi-Oh. I picked up this action figure because I like the Dark Magician. It looks cool, but as for the durability and/or educational value I'm clueless. It sits beside my TV unless one of my cats knocks it over and steals the staff that it holds.

It's a cute thing to put on display.

Teach your kids satanism & black magic
PARENTS PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE watch this show with your kids before purchasing these or any other items related to Yu-Gi-Oh. I was shocked to discover just exactly what this show was when I watched it with my children. It is NOT a harmless copy of Pokemon. The characters and settings of this cartoon strongly resemble satainistic and black magic icons. I am not a strongly religious person, but I can not and will not allow this in my house.
Please parents, before you buy these for your kids watch this show to decide whether or not you feel it is right for your children. ... Read more
