Good product
I have owned two polar heart rate monitors and they work well are generally accurate. However,it must be returned to the manufacturer to replace the battery. If you try to replace the battery yourself you will most likely damage the unit! I know because I tried to do it. My experience has been that the battery last about two years. It takes about two weeks to get it back after sending it in for the battery to be replaced and it cost $10.00 (monitor only, not transmitter).

Awesome bike!
My husband and I just received this bike this weekend and we couldnt be happier! It was easy to put together, it probably took us 30 minutes total. It could be put together by one person with only piece being a little ackward, but it could be done.
There are 12 different programs from level riding to steep hill's and valley's. Each program is 30 minutes long and within each program you can increase or decrease the intensity so there is a lot of variety for each routine.
This bike has a quite and smooth ride, it responds quickly to the commands and has a built in pulse monitor. Two different handle bars for comfort, a book holder and cup holder.
I couldnt be happier, this is an awesome bike and great quality. The seat is roomy and comfortable, I rode for 90 minutes and didnt feel any discomfort.
If you are wanting a quality piece of equipment that will last a long time I wouldnt definately reccomend this. ... Read more

Beware
As for the pilates, they really tighten you up.But what I have a problem with is the way they run the business.Apparantley, I didn't understand that further videos were going to be charged to my visa check card.They were and when I called to cancel it, I had to wait for the package to be sent to my house and then write REFUSE and Return To Sender on it.After a couple of weeks went by, there was still no refund.I called the customer serive line again and was told that I would be refunded less the shipping and handeling.That was about $7.Very disappointing.I just think it should be more clear that further charges WILL be charged to you.So even when you see the infomercial and they bring it down to a great price...beware because they have a fantastic set up to sell you more and more stuff when you call to order.It's obvious that the operater is reading a script.That just annoys me.

Be careful when you order anything from Winsor Pilates
I ordered a Pilates video form the www.winsorpilates.com website.Without my consent, I got enrolled in a series of videos, and a month later I got other DVDs from them with the corresponding bill.When I refused the item, they reluctantly refunded the price of the discs but refused to refund the shipping costs, regardless of their so-called "money-back guarantee" and deceptive practices.

FYI---Only one video!!
Some of the other reviews claim this set comes with four videos.It does not.It comes only with one 20 minute video and a lot of box filler(Ads for more videos and a mat. who needs a mat??)-----All for only $39!!

Why Amazon allows the other false reviews claiming more videos to remain I don't know.But be warned.

Amazing
I recently had an awful ankle injury which confined me to the couch for three weeks and in the four months following limited my mobility greatly.While spending my three weeks on the couch, I came across Winsor Pilates on an infomercial and decided to try it.Afraid to use it at first due to the injury in my ankle and my aversion to anything physical, I finally tried it about a week and half ago.

I wish I would have started it the minute I got it.I feel so much stronger, refreshed, and more fit than I have ever felt in my life.Most importantly, I am able to work out without putting the strain on my ankle and amazingly my ankle is feeling stronger and better than before my injury.The first few times I started to workout, I followed the modified moves, but now I feel strong enough and confident enough to complete the regular workout without modifications.

As a larger woman, I always was ashamed going to the gym or attempting to work out with other programs for fear of not being able to keep up or follow the moves, but never had that problem with Winsor Pilates.Also, I am already seeing results which is motivation enough to keep going.I recommend this to just about everyone, whatever age, whatever fitness level, and even if you have asthma or other injuries, this is an effective, low-impact way to get and stay in shape.

WOW!
I get seventeen magazine and in it they had a explanation of mari's workout and a sample on to try. I figure, could it hurt? It was only a ten minute workout so i tried it. It was the one exercise program that i have actually felt comfortable doing and that i really felt was giving me results. I did that for a week before ordering this kit and it is really amazing. I have only been on it for 4 days and i can feel that my powerhouse is stronger and that my legs have more strength. They say in ten workouts you feel results, in 20 you see them, and in 30 everyone else sees them. I know that i'm feeling the results in less than ten workouts. Great training aid
This set includes the speed bag and mounting platform, speed bag training gloves, hand wraps, and a jump rope. I'm mainly a karate and kung-fu student and teacher, but I've done some boxing too, and one of the best exercises you can learn to enhance speed and agility is the classic boxing workout on the speed bag. More martial artists should use this great training tool. I never got to the point where I could mix in things like elbow strikes and head butts in-between punches like the real experts, but I got pretty good just hitting it with straight punches and back hammerfists and could really get it going that way. If you're going to try this, keep your shoulders loose and try to hit with proper rhythm and timing--those are the key elements. Don't try to go real hard and fast in the beginning, as you'll only be able to hit it once or twice before you miss. Start slow and build up from there. Altogether a great training for martial artists of all styles and stripes.

The jump rope is a nice extra although perhaps not as essential for karate students. That's because a boxer is poised on the balls of his feet, and his most powerful punch is the hook, which travels in an arc. A karate thrust punch is just the opposite. Karateists punch flat-footed and the punch is from the hips and travels in a straight line, so the karateist isn't always bouncing around on the balls of his feet like a boxer. He's more likely to shift stances and move only when necessary to adjust distance, although that depends on the individual fighter, too.

Butt -Kickin Exercise

I have been using my Tony Little Gazelle Freestyle for about 6 months.I usually go to the gym 3-4 days a week, but I have found that every other day with this machine, the video workout and determination has proven to be excellent.I love the routines Tony guides me thru from beginner to imter.I sweat more, work harder than I have ever done on the stair master at the gym.I am able to check my daily results immediately and I see that it is improving my body, my mind and my determination to get there and work it out!I love this machine and thank Tony for his inspirational videos.If it does not seem to work for you, maybe you are not working hard enough, try harder.It will work!!!Thanks, Tony!

Horribly Unsatisfied.
I bought the Gazelle around a year ago. I enjoyed putting it together, but there are some flaws to it. I put it together just as they asked, but the left pedal's tension was just too much. The videos that they sent with it were non-working. The workout itself wasn't too bad, but it didn't exercise your arms at all. I felt that the extremely bad design of this machine has to end up with a 2/5.

Not bad
It does go together easily and is VERY sturdy.It also folds up and stores nicely when company comes over.I do notice sometimes that it puts pressure on my knees and it might have something to do with keeping your feet perfectly aligned.It's too easy to mount the machine and then just go to town and not pay attention to how your body is aligned.Anyway that's just my take on it.But yeah, even for lazy slugs it's nice and does do what it should in just a little time.I've had the entire collection of exercise equipment through the years too and this is the one thing I've continued to use.Oh, go for the Freestyle and not the Edge.The Freestyle is sturdier and will take more abuse.

A+! Great workout *bang for your buck*!
We have owned this piece of exercise equipment for over 18 months now (bought elsewhere), and it has yet to become a clothes rack or stuffed into a closet forever.

It's actually easy to put together in less than thirty minutes. It is very well made, which is more than I can say about some other machines out there that cost 4 or 5 times more.

It feels extremely sturdy underneath you. Which is nice, given that you're "up in the air" with your arms and legs flying back and forth as fast, or slow!, as you want (and as far as your flexibility and room space will allow) when you're using it.

It has none of that herky jerky up-down-over-and-again paddlewheel like motion of an elliptical machine. Since the rider controls the speed with the back and forth momentum of their own body, it's both easy enough for beginners and challenging enough for those moving on through to the next level(s) of fitness.

The electronic features are nice, easy to read/auto-scan through, and have held up over all this time on the same little battery. Data is provided by sensors in the handles, where your thumbs rest. There are readings for your pulse, calories burned, distance traveled, total miles ever on the machine, among others. There's even a cupholder and storage space for holding, say, the remote for your TV or stereo.

Based on my experience, I'd feel comfortable recommending and/or buying any Tony Little products. For the price, it's really hard to beat this machine. ... Read more
