highly recommended
I have a 3 year old son who has autism. This desk makes it so much easier for his therapists to work with him. It is also very sturdy and appealing to a little one's eye. Plus, you can install the desk top the opposite way for lefties! Trust me, you and your child will love this desk.

Best Buy Ever
I bought this for my niece for her birthday now I need to get one for my son they fight over it constantly. It gives them a place to do their crafts and homework. It is great to bring outside on a nice day to paint, practice writing on the chlk board, or to do a worksheet for school. It is so easy to clean and it is very sturdy. They even use it to sit and watch TV. When my nefews come over they love to use it also. Security concerns
I went to buy this for my 22 yr old son. However, the twin matress does not fit securely in the car. They are 6-12 inch gaps between the mattress and the side of the car on all sides, plenty or room for my son's arm, leg or face to get stuck in! Sure I could probably rig something up, but for this amt of money I shouldn't have to, nor am I going to!

Custom Sports Car
I love that the tires mount to the bed and the fact that they say "Made In The USA" on them. These beds are just too cool, and a quality product. My Grandkids love them and I know that they will out last anything else we might have bought them. We bought 1/2 inch particle board sheets and had the hardware store cut them to the same size as a twin bed mattress, they didn't charge anything to cut it to size. We laid the particle board over the slats in the bed so we didn't have to buy a box spring. I think we saved about $100 doing it that way. It allowed the mattress to recess down into the bed just a little to protect them some if, (and when), they jump on the bed. These are keepsake beds and I doubt that they will ever sell them, or give them away. They just love them too much.

King of the house!
We bought this bed for my 27 month old son. The first time he saw it his eyes were like saucers. First he tried to turn the wheels, then it took him 4 tries to hop over the side, but once he got into the bed we couldn't get him out. He was like the king of the mountain! He loves sliding down the hood in the morning to get out of it and now climbs into it the same way. His smile was worth every penny spent.

Then buy them a Little Tikes Race Car Bed! It appeared to my husband and I that our toddler would never outgrow trying to get into bed with us at night. Until we purchased the race car bed. Now he sleeps soundly every night and loves it!! It so comfy and cozy! Every time before he gets into it he comments on what a nice bed it is. During the day he pretends he is a race car driver, a policeman and takes his stuffed animals for rides! This truly was the answer to some lost sleep for everyone! Thank You Little Tikes!!

Little Tikes Twin Race Car Bed
We got this bed for my son when he was 22 months old. We were moving and bought this for his new room. The excitement of his new bed made the move a happy time for him too. He is now turning 8 and refuses to turn the bed over to his little brother so I guess we need to look into another one! We started out with the mattress and bunkie board on the lowest level so he couldn't roll out, then moved it up to the next level when he was older. The toy box in the front holds alot and the headboard gave him a place to go with stuffed animals and other stuff. I would recomend this bed to anyone, it has been alot of fun for my son and he is still very proud to show it to his friends when they come over! ... Read more

Great!
When I found out I was having another baby, I knew it was time for my older (about 2ish) son to give up his crib! Hes 2 1/2 now and LOVES this bed!

It was easy to put toghether, me and my husband did it in about 45 minutes (take in consideration I was a cranky, pregnant, wife!) and my son was estatic!

The bed is beautiful and withstands jumping, rolling, kicking, and of course, sleeping! The rails prevent him from rolling out, and they are nice and safe! His bed looks great with Elmo sheets and he has never been happier!

It took our average sized crib matress and its easy to get in and out of...

We absolutley love this bed, and my son, who was attatched to his crib, loves it too!

cute bed, "ok" quality
Just got this for my 2 year old. The bed looks very nice and is made well with a few exceptions. The problem I had was that the slats that hold the mattress were warped making it difficult to put together. Also ours has a dirty handprint stain on the headboard that appears to have happened before it was varnished at the factory, so we can't remove it. I'm still debating if I'm going to try and exchange it because of that reason alone. It took quite a bit of time to assemble, so I'm hesitant. Anyways, I like the bed for the most part. It seems pretty sturdy, more so than the plasic ones I've looked at.

A Great Toddler Bed!
We bought this bed a few months ago for our (part monkey) 18 month-old daughter, and we just LOVE it!This is the second toddler bed we've bought (the first for our son), and it is without a doubt the better of the two.It is well constructed, sturdy, very attractive and easy to assemble.It's a great toddler bed.Which is exactly what our daughter thought as well, since she insisted on sleeping in it--and ONLY it--since about five seconds after setting it up!

What a big girl bed!!!
We got this bed for our just-turned-two-year-old after she climbed out of her crib for the first time and broke her arm on the way down!This bed was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.My husband was able to put this bed together fairly easily, and our daughter even "helped".My only complaint is that the side rails aren't long enough.This isn't a complaint about this product,however, as all toddler beds are the same as far as the rail is concerned.Overall, I would strongly reccommend this product.Our daughter loves it and has adjusted fairly well to the change in beds! ... LOVE IT!
Just bought this today for my son who is turning 3. It holds tons of paper and other things which is great and I love the way the top opens up to be used as an easel. The light doesn't really provide a whole lot of light but it's a nice feature.

It's not too hard to put together but there are no written directions, only pictures. You can expand the desk so that it grows with your child and after I got the whole thing together I wished I just went ahead and made it bigger right away. You basically have to almost disassemble the thing to make it taller and I don't see us going through all that trouble down the road (I'll probably lose the directions that tell me how to do it by then anyway).
Box suggests desk is for ages 2-6 and I think that is about right. Too small for older children, especially the chair.

My son really enjoyed his desk all day today and I look forward to lots of great progects. It is even reinforcing to him that everything has a place and to put the lid back on the markers etc.

The best kid's desk on the market.
I have 2 boys, aged 2 and 4 1/2. They love, love, love this desk! It is made so well, that even if they stand on it (which occasionally they do, even to my dismay) it won't break. It has tons of storage space and is very colorful. The desk top can become an easel, with even a clip to hold the paper. Even my kid's friends love this desk too. I've had several of the mommys say that they had to buy this desk because they loved it so much. The only downside, which isn't even that bad, is that the light is very weak and doesn't offer much light. But that's really no big deal, I just keep the lamp on next to it. Wow!
After looking in stores, catalogs and online we decided to order this table for our two year old son. Even though the price was a bit more than I felt we needed to spend it was worth it. The quality is great the legs are thick and sturdy Our son loves it! Of course he loved helping me attach the legs which was simple and after we comvinced him to turn it over he was delighted to belly up with his colors and books. Well worth the money
I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 2 1/2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER LAST YEAR
IT IS DURABLE, HUGE STORAGE SPACE, SAFE CORNERS AND LID.
THE CHILDREN CAN LIFT THE LID THEMSELVES WITH EASE, BUT
IF YOUR LOOKING TO KEEP THE BOOKS ON THE SHELF AT THIS AGE
DON'T COUNT ON IT, I ONLY HAVE ONE SAFETY PRECAUTION AT THE AGE OF 1 TO 2 BE CAUTIOUS YOUR CHILD DOES NOT SIT ON THE EDGE. Step 2 does it again!!!
We received this toy box as a gift for our son when he was 1. I love the fact that it also has the book shelf and top shelf as well as the door feature to "hide" the toys. When our son was younger we would pick up his toys and close up playtime for the day - he knew it was almost bedtime when we would put the lid down. The book shelf has not held books yet as they pull them right down but we do store some of the more played with stuffed animals on these shelves. They sit in perfectly and are easy to find for our children. The opening for the toy box is low enough for our toddlers to get their own toys in and out. We have had this toybox for almost 2 years now and it still looks brand new. It has only been inside and the color has not faded. My 2 & 3 yr old have climb onto, banged into, thrown toys at, and much more and shows no wear & tear. A little bit pricier than the regular toy box but worth it for the extra features of shelves and closing lid that does not shut unless pulled shut by someone. No pinched fingers or trapping with this one! Another great buy/product from Step2

Best Toy Box
I purchased the pink lid version of this toy box for my daughter when she was a little over 1 year old. She is now turning 8 and we still use it for her toys and books. I highly recommend this toy box. I have two older daughters who went through numerous toy boxes in their day. This toy box has been through so much and still looks brand new. Bravo to the manufacturers for this one. By the way no smashed hands either.

Very Functional-Particularly for a One Year Old
This is a great toybox. My daughter ()is able to reach the books on the book shelf. Also, the door slides out of the way so it will never fall on her fingers. The top shelf is great for her puzzles because the pieces stay put. I highly recommend this storage chest!

My 13 month old son loves this toy box. It is large enough for him to sit and play in and holds a decent amout of toys. The bookshelf concept is great, but not for a 13 month old. He can easily pull the books off the lower shelf and chew on them. ... Read more
