There's a charming simplicity in this game for little ones who dream ofbeing a princess. Players move their pieces around the game board collectingplastic costume jewelry, such as rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Thewinner of the game is the one who collects the crown and all the jewels thatmatch their playing color. That player is the princess who now turns over thespinner to reveal a mirror into which she can gaze at her royal self. Game playincludes the dreaded black ring, which no one wants but someone might get.Sticky jewels are included to decorate the jewelry box and the crown. For youngchildren with royal fantasies, Pretty Pretty Princess is pretty pretty good.--Lee Strucker ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun game to play with your 5 year old daughter!
My daughter received this as a gift for her 5th birthday and it was an instant hit. It's an easy game to learn and because all players get to "dress up" while playing, the game becomes a fun activity which holds the kids' attention. Playing along with a willing Dad or big brother is a hoot, as the only way they can win is to obtain -- and wear -- all of the jewels in their "collection".

One word of advice: Keep the game stored out of the way of little ones when not in play. Wearing the jewelry "just for fun" is a big temptation for a five year old. If you loose track of the pieces (of which there are over 20), you'll need to find substitute jewelry or the game can't be played.

FUN FOR BIG KIDS TOO
we're late 20's and have a set that comes out sometime during most dinner parties! A few glasses of wine and its amazing how rough the battle for the crown can get. BEWARE though the crown is flimsy- we broke ours and had to replace it with a rhinestone model from claire's

THE BEST GAME EVER!!!
this is definitly the best game ever!! im 15 and me and my friends still totally love this game! and when i babysitt the kids play it all the time, the little girl and even the boys (who are 8 and 11) this is so much fun to play... everyone gets to put on the pretty jewlry and have fun! I THINK THIS IS THE BEST GAME FOR ANYONE AGES 4-120!!!

I love this game
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it. She's even gotten Daddy and Grandpa to dress-up :) Very cute game!!!

AWESOME GAME
Alright, I admit it, I am fifteen years old and me and my friends play this game every single day. Yes, even our male friends enjoy this game. We play it everywhere, the bus stop, the park, the cafeteria and other places in our town. The best part is stealing the crown from others and being the princess(cough usually me cough) Those two seconds of glory do me good.

However, for younger children, it promotes self-esteem and well is just a really fun game. I HIGHLY recomend this game to all young and old. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars D&D as family game
There are a lot of ways that you can use D&D as a family game. Most obvious is to play as a family. This can work, but can also be difficult given differences in maturity, life experience, creativity, etc.

A different way to approach this is to encourage the game in your children, and help them to find or form a gaming group. Benefits are many including having structured social activity that you have a schedule for up-front; knowing your children's friends and their parents; etc.

This boxed set is a great introduction to the game, but the person you are getting it for is looking to join an established game, this might not be the right choice. Rather, the Player's Handbook would be a better option (slightly more advanced rules, which most established games will already be using).

Read through the rules together and learn about the game. It's a great chance to have fun AND involve yourself in their life.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent for younger players...
There was no Kendroff in "Lord of the Rings" the "Internet" has nothing to do with D&D and no one anywhere has ever died or gone crazy from Dungeons and Dragons. Check the facts, they are out there. This is a game that has inspired three dimensional thought and imagination in millions of people. This is perfect for young people wishing to become involved in a great social and creative activity. This game builds strong reading and communication skills. This is a perfect starter set for anyone wishing to just give it a try. I bought this to play with my two younger brothers and it has been a great way to bond and spend time together. The only evil of D&D is the propaganda that the ignorant feel they should spread. This game is as evil and unhealthy as the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
I have this game.Just got done playing it w/ my nephew.I have not played D&D since late 80's but picked up the "new" basic set on a whim because it had been a long time.
After using the quick start manual, my nephew's first question was "where did you get this game"? because it was fun.
This Basic Set has its limits, but it was a good refresher and easy to get back in the game w/ a new player.

I hope this review helps because one reviewer rates the game w/o even mentioning anything about the product or game play.

4-0 out of 5 stars In regards to the religious...
Okay, in the past, Dungeons and Dragons was ridiculed by the religious for nothing. It was a new game that came out that featured, heroes, dragons, evil, good, and everything else that makes a fantasy what it is. So when I read the review by the Kristin, I had to come here to put my two cents in on everyone's behalf.
This product is a game. Nothing else. Just like Monopoly, Life, etc. The difference is that this game requires a bit of imagination. Have I bought this product? Yes, for my daughterm and she is eight years old--the same age that I started playing (I'm 30). She has fun with it along with me and my wife.
I advise other customers not to listen to the religious stuff that someone my put in about demons, devils, violence related to reality, and all the other lies. If you want to believe that this game is evil, then stop watching movies like Lord of the Rings, Conan, and stop watching cartoons period. Because if you think that Dungeons and Dragons is evil, then everything else that we, as humans, enjoy shgould be evil to you as well. If they aren't 'evil' like Dungeons and Dragons...I'm not going to resort to name calling. It just boils down to being a hypocrite.
If you're lookiing for something to spark your or your childrens' imaginations, get this game. It's fun, sociable, and entertaining.

4-0 out of 5 stars So many minatures, so liitle money
The box comes with the following 16 Minitures

Adventurers: Aramil, Eberk, Regdar, Lidda

Monsters: Dire Rat, 4 Kobolds, 2 Skeletons, Wolf Skeleton ,Black Dragon , 2 Orc Warriors, Troglodyte

The Black Dragon is well scuplted/painted and well worth the price of box set by himself.

A sililar pack of Kobolds from reaper would retail for $10.

All of the Iconics match their D&D artwork down to the last detail

If you bought similar models and dice from any other manufacturer it would cost you at least $60, to get it at Amazon's bagain price is too good of a deal for any D&D miniatures enthusiast to pass up. ... Read more

This is a strategy game with a twist--if you lose, you'relunch. You've taken your trusty Safari Rover deep into the bush; nowmaneuver it through the maze of hungry animals and get back to camp inone piece. An 8-by-7.25-inch plastic game tray forms a kind of grid foryour vehicle and the 3-D plastic animal pieces (including elephants, rhinos, and a termite mound). Draw one of 50 cards (10 of which areextra-easy, for younger players) to determine the initial board setup. Then move pieces, according to strict rules, to make your escapethrough the only exit. A cloth bag for all the game pieces is included.--Richard Farr ... Read more

Fun but bulky
Our family truly enjoys the Rush Hour game and tried this one as well - it is bigger and bulkly and convenient for travel. I alos find the puzzles to be a bit easier. The pieces don't slide as well as Rush Hour.

Good toy for everyone
I knew this game at a friend's house and love it even I was 30 already at that time. I bought several when I went back to visit my family and they all love it. When I told my mom that I would give my brother's 1st grad boy a set, she told me he won't like it since he doesn't like the brain games. But he loves it soon after my sister explain to him the rules and he enjoys to do it. My little one, almost 23 months old now, likes those animals and loves to put all of those animals to the board one by one and kind of learn the size and arrange the place. It's not only for 8 and up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game; an attention grabber
I bought this for my 6 year old. She played with it for an hour the first time. It is a game she can play solo. After using the Junior cards, she went on to the beginner. She is still progressing. This is a great thinking game. I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Rush Hour game ever!
This game is so much fun!Let me tell you a secret about this game. You can look on the back of the cards to get clues to beat the level that your playing if your stuck. So this game is so fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Way to Play Together or Challenge a Child
My 7-year-old daughter loves this activity. There are so many active toys available, but Binary Toys has the best strategic-play games around. We play together often with this toy; I find it as much fun as she does. But, she would just as soon sit at the kitchen counter playing it by herself. We take it on trips, and all the relatives enjoy it, too. Since the "solution" shown on the back of each card is straightforward to follow for an adult but not for a child, she is never tempted to turn the card over and "cheat." Instead, through trial and error, she eventually escapes the safari and moves to the next card. Having the wide range of skill level cards helps keep everyone interested. Having the handy cloth case for storage is appreciated as well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy & Lots Of Fun!!!
I bought this for my child 6 months ago at the age of 16 months. She LOVES it and continues to play with it daily. I highly recommend this toy for children who love watching the wiggles and dancing to music.

3-0 out of 5 stars Burn Some Calories!
The Wiggles Dance mat has everything a parent wants in a game... and everything a kid could want!- loud bouncy music from their favorite T.V. show for the kid, kid getting exercise for mom, bright colors and fun pictures for kid, educational and stimulating for mom. The Wiggles Dance mat is great fun and young kids will love bouncing around to the music... for about ten minutes. The only problem with this product is that young children who have low attention spans don't like using it for a long period of time because lets face it... jumping around gets rather boring after a while! It is lost of fun though and a great rainy day activity that will get your kids up off the couch. It is a great toy for two or three kids and they'll have a blast! This is a great gift idea for any Wiggles fan and tons of fun for parties and play dates.

3-0 out of 5 stars Dancing with The Wiggles
We're a Wiggles Family here !!
I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they LOVE to dance with the Wiggles & sing. They enjoy the dance mat and so do I. The smiles I see on my girls faces are priceless.

Thanks again to the Wiggles for all the smiles & laughter!!
Keep the Wiggles toys and new products coming TRU !!! Still waitng for the Capt Feathersword doll TRU!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars It is not Greg Singing!!!
While this toy has a great premise and is fun for my son to play with, everytime he starts playing with it he asks me "where is Greg Mommy?". This is because the person singing the songs on the toy is not Greg but someone else. I think that it is important to note that before buying this toy. Now this toy is fun and entertaining for my son, it would have been far better if it was performed by the wiggles. This toy is slightly disappointing because of that. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great game for building many skills
I bought this game for my 2 year old son and have been very pleased. His occupational therapist introduced it to him to help him with his fine motor skills. It takes two hands to put the little coins in the slot (one to hold the coin and one to hold the barn) and a little strength to pull the lever to get the coins out. Even though he is too young to play the game, he loves to match the animals to the cards. It has been great to teach him the animal names and sounds, too. He loves to play and it will grow with his cognative abilities. We highly recommend this toy!

speech therapist recommended
My daughter, who turns 2 this july, goes to speech therapy. The therapist pulls out this game to try to get my little one to not only speak, but to put the coins in the slot (follow direction), take them out, match them up, learn animals and colors. Also to take turns. This is a Wonderful teaching game! Please note the coins a small, and could be a choking hazard. But overall I recommend this game.

Wonderful first game
This is a great first game. It is very short in duration and teaches the basics of game playing (taking your turn, wining, following rules) without being overly involved or lengthy. The bingo chip dispenser is great fun for toddlers and makes the game very enticing. I highly recommend this game! However, I think that this game is probably more appropriate for 2-4 year olds than 3-6 year olds. I've played this with several 2 years olds and they've gotten the game immediately. This was some of the best 9 dollars that I've spent and will be giving this as a gift many times.

Great game for little ones!
I would recommend this because I have a 4- and a 5-year-old. They love playing this game together and I don't even have to be there right beside them. It allows them to play together independent of me! They also really enjoy playing the game. We would purchase it again!

What's better than being able to shoot your Dragoon spinning top with a rip cord from a launcher for added power? Being able to control your top's ability to accelerate and reverse with remote control, of course! Charging up the remote control top is easy with the included launcher. You can pull or push the trigger of the launcher to make the top go clockwise or counterclockwise. Dragoon V beats cousins beyblade
I creamed my cousin with my dragoon v. When I battled my cousin, I attacked just one time and beat his Seaborg. He said he would trade his best beyblade for my dragoon V, but I turned him down. I really like dragoon v.

Dragoon rc is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This beyblade is so cool you can counter spin you can accecelurate real fast left or right you can't even follow it. It's the beyblade today it's way better than dragoon fighter and dragoon victory[magnacore] it's a true attack beyblade. It can even beat a metal knight dranzer[Magnacore]i've heard there coming out with driger rc soon can't wait for he is going to be a challenge and I hope this drigger has different design.I don't know why everybody says this takes fun out beyblading it doesn't and I don't know why everybody is so crazy about magncore or v2 this is what I have been waiting for. It can even beet a driger f so get it is worth it you can even customize it's attack ring so you can't customize all of it who cares it's still fun. Remeber to keep the bottom clean and don't use up all the batteries to much and over charge that's why they cry about it being broken by the way i'm 11. I want a draciel fortress next I heard it has ball bearings my friend wouldn't let me use because his always facing people but I can beat him.

Hasbro's Dragoon V RC: A Hit
This is my review for Hasbro's Dragoon V RC Beyblade Product.

Pros:
- Uses only two AA batteries
- No extra batteries needed for the top; top has built in battery
- Long ripcord
- Launcher gives a nice grip
- You can control your Beyblade top making the battle more strategic.
- Very little assembly needed; great for beginning Beybladers
- Easy to use controls
- Simple charging feature; similar to the small RC cars (e.g. Zip Zaps)
- You can change the attack ring with most Beyblade attack rings.

Cons:
- The attack ring is designed for left spin but all RC Beyblades are right spin.
- The product is supposed to be called Dragoon V2
- RC antenna is a bit long
- Only the attack ring is customizable; nothing else
- Most attack rings stick out very little from the weight disks
- Ripcord is in a curved/bent form when you open the box.
- Long Ripcord; easy to break

Tips:
- After each rip or every other rip, scratch around the area around the hole where you ripcord in. This will prevent the hole and the ripcord from wearing away
- Straighten the ripcord; fill up one sink/bowl with hot water and put the ripcord in and let it sit for a few minutes. During the few minutes, fill up a second sink/bowl (that is very close to the sink/bowl with warm water) with cold water. Quickly, take out the ripcord, straighten the ripcord with your hands, and put the ripcord in the cold water, still straightening it with your hands for at least a few minutes (more the better).
- Put a tiny small piece of tape (duct tape, masking tape, scotch tape) on the tip of the Beyblade top to stop it from scratching or/and wearing away. To make sure the tape stays on, scratch it on. Do this even if it is scratched/worn away.
- Clean tip frequently; after every rip/use.
- Use a large attack ring for more attack (e.g. Seaborg 1 or 2).
- In battle, rip the ripcord as straight as possible so it will not wear away the rip hole and rip cord.
- In battle, use the RC battles during the beginning right after you rip for better attack and endurance.
- In battle, hold the trigger inward (like a gun), right after you have ripped it and hold it.
- Use an official Hasbro Beystadium or a large saucer sled (no bumps on it) or wok.
- Point the antenna at the Top while controlling it.
- Get two of two frequencies, in case one of your friends has the same frequency, you have an alternative.

If you have any questions, e-mail/messenger me at marineangemon85@hotmail (I use the most) or laserblader@yahoo.com.
Finally, remember to "LET IT RIP!" or as they say it in Japan "GO SHOOT!"

Beyblade Launcher
The beyblade launcher is so hott. You can move your beyblade anywhere. This is the first time u can ever move youyr beyblade anywhere. This item is so cool because it is possible to win all of your maches.

The Dragoon V or V2 Beyblade
RC beyblades are awesome! You can control where the beyblade goes. I would recommened Dragoon V or V2. It has double weight disk and a radical attack ring. The bit beast of the beyblade is so cool I could not believe my eyes. You can make this beyblade go all directions. It comes with a long ripcord so it will spin faster and longer. So overall, get this beyblade, it is great! ... Read more

You either love it or hate it!
We play this game as a family, and either my husband or I set it up. The plastic rods are fine, but if my five year old got a hold of them they would be snapped in half almost instantly. IF you decide to buy this toy be prepared: an adult or older child will have to set it up. Putting in the rods takes time and patience. Also, be vigilant with the pieces-- they are not meant for younger children because of the choking hazzard (the marbles) and the frustration level of setting up the game. Great for family night fun, but not good if you're hoping the kids will play quietly for a while while you get something else done!

A Piece of Junk
This game has ended up in the trash bin--it's made of cheap plastic, falls apart easily, it's difficult to get all the sticks in, nobody wants to put the sticks back in because that's very boring. I think my memory has failed me--I thought this used to be a fun game when my kids were little--I sure don't remember all the hassles with it. But I've noticed the quality of games/toys nowadays can be very poor--so many cheezy, cheapo parts. Save your money and buy something else.

DON'T buy this!
I bought this toy for my five year-old because I saw it recommended in one of the parenting magazines. It is loud and obnoxious. Sometimes it just makes noise for no reason. It falls apart easily. Save your money for something else!

pass on the kerplunk
My children of 4 and 7 almost immediately got bored with this toy. The problem is in the set up. Neither of them wanted to stick all those sticks in the holes. It was a total bomb and waste of money. It takes 2 minutes to play it and 10 minutes to set it up.

Fun, quick game
We bought this game for our boys (6 and 3 1/2) and they love it. The only frustrating part is setting up the game (putting the sticks in), but after that, the game moves very quick and is fun to play. Durability is in question with the sticks, but when you have kids playing, that isn't too surprising. All in all, a great game. ... Read more

Monopoly's popularity is of epic proportions. Thisquintessential board game challenges wannabe capitalists of all ages toaccumulate as much wealth as possible by buying, selling, and tradingproperties; collecting rents; and various other windfalls. Keepingplayers engrossed for hours, Monopoly requires clever strategizing andsometimes ruthless business maneuvers. Numerous versions of thethoroughly satisfying game have appeared over the years, butMake-Your-Own Opoly could be even better--because players create it themselves! The game includes everything needed to hand-customize the game board, cards, play money--even the box. Could of been better
I really liked this game, but it is a big hassle. Sure, it is cool to make your own opoly, but it took to much time. Plus once you put something on the board you can't change it. I wish they made it better, just easier. It would be really cool if you could just send what you wnated to the factory, don't you think? So, if you're wondering whether to buy this or not, it is a very fun thing, but if you are really busy you might not enjoy it as much.

It's a lot of fun.
I like it because I was able to make it about my favorite spot where I like to go swimming, kayaking, waterskiing, kneeboarding,
tubing, and looking for moose and deer. It was lots of fun. Me and my family love to play it.You should get it!

Disappointing Alternative
If you are a true Monopoly lover then, you may be very disappointed in "Make-Your-Own-Opoly". There are some major differences in the board from the original Parker Brother's game such as the jail and free parking and "go to jail" have been all changed to loose a turn and roll again and things of that nature. Also, there are no hotels or houses so you were not able to increase land value by developing properties. All in all I found it too far from the concept of the original (or parker brother produced variations) monopoly game to be able to enjoy it as a "Monopoly" alternative.
Other deterrents include that there are only a couple of plain sheets of paper sent with it for your money and property cards to be printed on. One would need to use their own printer paper if they wanted much money at all.

Why???
I really like the concept of the game, however, in my opinion it has some big shortcomings. Every die hard Monopoly fans knows that there are 10 spaces from corner to corner - this game gives you nine. Why? I have no clue. I think it could have been a lot truer to the original format. There aren't transportation squares on each side, and only two places equivalent to chance/community chest. It's a good idea, just whoever designed it didn't do a good job of bringing it to life. Copyright issues? I don't know... it just think it's annoying.

The first step to personalized gaming! I love it!
I just bought one for my own family but it makes an AWESOME gift! I bought it for my sister's family 2 years ago and they still rave about it and play it at family gatherings like thanksgiving and christmas time. ... My sister doesn't have a computer so I knew that I was going to have to make it for her. I had to download a working copy of the program used to make the personalized stuff from the website that was printed on the instruction book - the cd and the floppy disk did not work for me but that was by no means detrimental - didn't take long and the program is so easy to use. I was able to put a picture of my niece on the $500 bill and a picture of my nephew on the $100 - it's anything goes and only limited by your imagination. A VERY creative and highly entertaining game. ... Read more

Poor Mr. Boddy has been shockingly murdered in his own mansion. To win this game, you must become a roving detective, sniffing out the answers to the classic mystery questions: Who among Mr. Boddy's guests committed the murder? What was the murder weapon? (Lead pipe? Wrench? Candlestick?) Where did the murder happen? (Library? Conservatory?) Because the answers change each time, the game is constantly challenging. A gameboard map of the mansion, detective notepad, deck of cards, one die, wandering playing pieces, and a healthy dose of intuition will help players be the first to figure out the answers. This edition of Clue is a departure from the old faces and mansion rooms that were beginning to look dated after all these years. Sultry Miss Scarlett looks like Lesley Ann Warren from the movie Clue. Mr. Green looks convincingly sinister, Mrs. Peacock snobbish and potentially cruel. Colonel Mustard is still Pompous, Professor Plum still clueless. Mrs. White, the grandmotherly maid, is downright spooky. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars After all these years, still the classic "who-dunnit" game.
Clue -- known as "Cluedo" here in the UK -- was my favourite game as a child, and is still up there as one of the classics.

OK, so there are only 6 options for who did it and what they did it with, but there are 9 (am I remembering correctly?) rooms to choose from, so the possibilities, while not endless, are enough to while away an evening.

As a kid, I loved this game because you were solving problems in a race -- and that's still why I love it. It really helps children develop powers of logical reasoning in a fun environment, and in conjunction with other people.

But now for the real reason "Clue" (or "Cluedo") is a classic: What other game makes you feel like Sherlock Holmes, Inspector Morse, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple rolled into one? None, and that's why no home is complete without a copy in their collection!

One of the best games ever made
Clue is the classic game by Parker Brothers. In the game you stuck are in a mansion. The owner Mr.Boddy has been murdered and its up to you to find out who did it.

There are six different playable characters. No character can do something others can't the only differnce in them is there starting locations and there actual names. Your goal is to navigate the mansion finding out clues as to who committed the murder. You have to guess who did it, where the murder was done, and what was is done with. You go by trial and error throughout the house until you gather enough clues to guess it right.

The game itself is pretty durable. You have six token pieces, a six sided die, cards, a standard board, and paper sheets for you clue book. Unless something gets wet you should be set.

The game is educational because it makes you think. You have to keep track of your clues that you collect. You can also pick up other clues by paying attention to other peoples clues and who is proving them wrong. You can be quite savvy in the game and this part is quite educational and fun.

Clue is a classic game. People have been playing it for over 50 years. It's the classic game of who did it and it's a fun mystery. No game is ever the same and that makes it even more fun. No kid or adult should ever go there life without playing this game. So go get Clue and find out who did it.

Very fun!
This game is extremely fun. It is good for all ages. I personally love mystery games like this but I'm sure that everyone will like this game. For younger ages there is a clue junior. I recommend this for all!

Over rated, imo
It's not that I haven't had fun playing this game, it's just that it really isn't fun without the right number of people playing. There is too much dependance on getting lucky and if the skill level between playes is too great, it's a cake walk for the more logical thinkers.

I also don't think this is the kind of game you can keep playing over and over like scrabble, boggle, or any number of card games that all have a lot more variance in play.

I'm not totally knocking "Clue", but it's one of those games that gets tiring after a few times of playing it.

clue is the best
When i first played clue i was so excited and i felt like i could have played it all day!I think that clue is a great game for all ages. Its fun, exciting and interesting for the whole family. The idea is brilliant. Its also really educational. Its my best game ever by far. I would recommed you to buy it to. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money!
My five year old daughter picked out this toy with her Grandmother. The commerical had her hooked! We got it home and soon found out it was not all it was cracked up to be.We could never get the horse to buck.We tried all three levels and still could not get the thing to move. The most frustrating part is the "hooks" on the saddle are not long enough so a majority of the parts will not stay on the hooks.I don't know if our game was broken and it should move with only a couple pieces on it, but it definately is NOT worth the money.

3-0 out of 5 stars fun---but sketchy--game
I saw Buckaroo advertised on tv, and we picked it up for my 5 year old son (and me).The objective is too simple; you try to load up as much gear on the saddle of a horse without him "bucking" all of it off.Sounds easy but it isn't.

This game is pretty fun overall.Colorful pieces, cool looking horse, simple concept. My only complaint is trying to get the saddle to stay on.The saddle is the piece that you actually "hook" all the gear onto, and sometimes it won't stay on.This translates into a lot of frustration b/c you can't even get the game started without the saddle in place.

Aside from this fact, the game is fun and there are no dice or cards in sight...=)

1-0 out of 5 stars JUNKAROO!!!
Don't waste your money (at least $15.99 + tax) on this game which should have been named JUNKAROO...My 5 yr. old son received this for Easter, and even he said this game is a "joke" and a piece of "junk"...he is a total game lover, has been wanting this thing since after Christmas, and is sorely disappointed in it, as well as me and his father. It might be better suited for a 2 or 3 yr. old, but watch out for the smaller parts, w/ younger ones. A 5 yr. old is way beyond this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars A good toy for teaching old fashioned values
I love to get this game out when it's a rainy day and the children and I are close to getting cabin fever from boredom.
We all love it for us bring families together in the best kind of way, to have fun and to spend quality time together. It's not hugley sturdy and the peices and action are not suitable for very small children but it is hugely fun!
My children are more enclined to say "do you remember the time we played buckaroo that rainy Saturday?", which leads to, "let's do it again!" Rather than, "I'm bored!".

5-0 out of 5 stars Super kicking fun!!
I must say that this game is very surprising! It is sort of compared to Yahoo Buckaroo! A game back from the 1990s.It is kind of a great challenge but is alot of fun for all wonderful children and everybody! ... Read more

Need an icebreaker? Want to work out some aggression without shin guards and helmets? Popomatic Trouble, Milton Bradley's classic race-and-chase game, is guaranteed to bring out your competitive side. Try to outstrip your opponents as you race your pawns around the colorful plastic board to safety. Should you have the good fortune to land on a space occupied by another player, you can send him reeling back to start, where he must wait for a six to pop up (literally) on the capricious dice bubble in the center of the board. Once liberated, your foe is free to reciprocate--now you're in Trouble.

The crystal ball on which the fates of all rest, a.k.a. the Popomatic Dice Bubble, is the genius behind this game, and is one reason it has become a classic. Encased in its bubble, the die never goes flying, rolls off the table, or gets lost. Simple to learn and exciting to play, Popomatic Trouble is a game that never loses its thrill. Popomatic Trouble is for two to four players. --Julie Ubben ... Read more

Loved it as a kid, my kids love it now
This was a favorite game of mine when I was little, and now my kids love playing it. It is a great first game, since the kids love to pop the popper. It is great for learning how to count.

Cheap re-make of my favorite childhood classic
I loved this game when I was younger and ordered it for my children. But... this game is so cheaply made now! A thin cardboard bottom has the graphics (comes seperated not integrated) and rips VERY easily. The popper is of a thin bent metal tension design that doesn't pop reliably. Very frustrating! We ended up buying a vintage game on [auction site] and love it!

Blast from the past!
We got this game for our 5 year old daughter, partly for nostalgic reasons, since we remember playing this when we were kids. She LOVES Trouble, and it is one of the few games I actually don't mind playing either! Sometimes the game can go on for a long time, which can be good thing when you want to keep the kids occupied for a while. I highly recommend this game for wholesome family fun.

Fun game
I got this for my 5 year old this Christmas (2003). One problem we had was pushing the button and she got frustrated on first but I managed to get it working. We had a blast playing it.

Great Fun for the family
THis game is gret for the whole fun. YOu don't really get to role the dice like in this game. i relly enjoy this game. WHen I just want to play a game with my brother I pick trouble. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing!
In this world filled with gloom and doom, it is refreshing to find a game that kids can play with friends, or with the entire family, that will make you laugh. Laughing is healthy, and we need to do more of it!

A Fun Time!
This game is a family favorite! Our kids love this game. We all love to laugh and this game definitely gets us laughing. The kids love it when daddy gets the card that tells him that he is a fashion model on a runway! :) I would recommend this game for people who just want to laugh with their kids.

Disappointing
I was so excited to get this game after all the reviews, boy was I disappointed. Game doesn't have a strategy and a lot of the cards are not fun to act out, there needs to be a purpose to the game not just read the card and do what it says and then off to the next person. The title makes you think if you make someone laugh you get points but that isn't true at all, you just do what the card says and move to the next player. Nobody in my family cared for it, including my 5 yr old.

You're gonna laugh!
Super, super fun game! We play it with our son and the neighbors' kids (ages 5,7 and 9). We always have a hysterically fun time. We're laughing before we even get the game out of the box!

All you do is laugh! Great for parties!
I recently played Don't Make Me Laugh Jr. with a group of children from a local YMCA. We all laughed so hard! Shy kids came out of their shells. The more theatrical kids also had a load of fun. Aside from the fun, we learned how to listen better, work as a team, and how to laugh at ourselves! Everyone ends up a winner when they play. I love the game! ... Read more

To win Rigamarole, a charming party game in the Cranium tradition, players must answer questions in four categories: "word of mouth" (word games), "stage fright" (performing arts), "sensory perception" (relying on senses other than sight), and "uncommon knowledge" (trivia). The fun here, of course, is that while one or possibly two of these categories may match a player’s interests and abilities, everyone is sure to make a fool of themselves sooner or later. While tackling these tests, players win stones, which serve as a sort of currency. In a twist not often seen in trivia games, players who simply cannot pass a test can buy their passage using the stones they’ve acquired from previous victories. Rigamaroleis a nice blend of tough challenges, gentle embarrassment, and general playfulness. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

QUirky and Out THere
You don't know what's coming next with this game. That might make some people uncomfortable but I thought it was great! Putting on the blindfold in front of your friends is hilarious, and so is trying to remember their eye color (I got my girlfriend's right). I really like the hidden talents cards at the end, especially sock wrestling.

Pick of the litter.
Everything about this game is a delightful surprise. Rigamarole is a smorgasbord of highly entertaining games that have gone over well no matter who we have had to dinner. We have played many, many games over the years and this is the pick of the litter.

Will make any group laugh
We just played Rigamarole with 9 people last week. It was a huge success even tho some players were new to the group. There was a ton of laughter, discussion and all around good bonding because the range of activities includes everyone. Whoever made this game has a terrific sense of humor and an eye for what a group enjoys. This is a must-buy.

Laughs that woke up the House
The first time we played the game it took a while to learn the rules. But the second time we were laughing so hard the entire house could here. The game encourages you to be creative, even if that means modifying the rules. A GREAT game.

the funnest game of all time
Rigamarole is one of the funnest games I've ever played. It is also like no other game I have ever played. Having such diverse categories makes it more fun for everyone no matter what kinds of games you like. Good job to the creators of this one! ... Read more

Editorial Review

After all these years, it's still hard to get a triple word score, the tiles are still made of wood, and there's only one "X" in the whole box. The game of Scrabble has sparked feuds and a near-cult following. All the fuss is over a spelling game that hasn't had an upgrade in 50 years. It takes a little luck and a lot of skill to make high-scoring words out of seven little letters, sometimes with an overabundance of vowels and letters that don't go together--sometimes there's Q without U. Two to four players battle it out on the board, and while some players might be proud of impressive words ("I spelled gestalt!"), skilled players know how to use the premium letter and word squares on the 225-square board to their best advantage. This crossword game has strict rules (no names, no slang) and comes with a warning label: "Choose a dictionary first to avoid any ugly word disputes." --Lynne Sampson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble is the board game that help the entire family
As a child, we played Scrabble at least 2 to 3 times a week. My parents had an added bonus for us... any time we could place one of our school vocabulary words on the board, the score for that word was automatically doubled. This had phenomenal value for each of us. Since my parents never dummied down their own words or scores, it gave us a chance to stay competetive with adults, without being condescending. It also gave my parents a way of staying in touch with our school work (and we all know how important parental involvement is!) As a parent myself, I still believe in the value of games such as Scrabble. Try this method with your own children!

great game!!!!
I love this game. I play this game often. It taeches you how to sspell and is very educational.

Great game!
This game is a lot of fun and is very educational. It increases your word power and vocabulary and is very versatile.

A Classic
This is a classic game, what else can be said about it?

Well how about "speed Scrabble" a new way to play without using the board. Each player takes five tiles and makes a scrabble matrix. As soon as one player uses all five tiles, he say's "take two" and everyone has to grap two more. You can change your matrix at any time and you build it using standard Scrabble rules. When the tiles are finished, score like normal and subtract unused tiles. Can be played with any number of people, just open up another game and mix the tiles together.

As for the normal way to play, my only objection is the time spent waiting for other players to move and the fact that through bad luck you can get six vowels and the "Q", but other than those minor objections, this is one great game.

A classic. Highly recommended.

good, but not as good
This is one of the best games of all time in my opinion; however, despite the advertising, the current product is of lesser quality than it has traditionally been. Specifically, the tiles are different now. The corners are no longer rounded, the wood seems to have less finish, and the tiles are not all exacly the same size. This does not change the entertainment value, the educational value, nor the durability of the game, but it does diminish the overall quality. ... Read more
